I had to get this one for Mr red tag due to it being called 'All Creatures Great and Small' .. that television series was one of the main reasons he became a vet. Thank you so much Mabar.
Glorious Autumn weather had us boiling the billy in the beautiful Colin Thiele gardens in Eudunda for morning tea and cooking a delicious BBQ at Burra Gorge in the Worlds End Conservation Park for our lunch.During our travels we saw kangas, emus and several goats and thoroughly enjoyed the scenery in the Hallelujah Hills and along the ridge tops. Many thanks for the hide mabar
Decided I needed a day’s geocaching so made the trip to Hanson through to Saddleworth before coming home via Auburn and Clare. All caches were in good condition unless mentioned. TFTC
No doctor Harry to be seen here just a nicely hidden cache that was very tough to open
Today after my own two events in the city I decided to head away for a night of camping, caching along the way mainly focusing on caches yet to be found around the Goyder LGA, by the days end I found myself camped up in Caroona Creek Comservation Park. A great day out enjoying the SA country side and found around 60 caches
Thanks for the cache

A big long weekend with the JAMS Crew (JJ52, allister w(me), mogni, Sir Spectre and tallbikestan). We road from Riverton to Stanley Flat on day 1. Then more riding near Spalding on day 2. Then finished the weekend with finding caches around the area in the car. TFTC
not a fan of metal tins. quick find
The JAMS team ( JJ52,Allister w, Mogni, and sir_spectre minus mitchell&hound ) but Tallbikestan was with us instead and we where out for there usually monthly caching adventure. This time it was over the october long weekend instead of the usual day trip. The taget this time was Drop into the Light a long ladder cache on the way to clare and then to clear the Rattler trail, Riesling Trail, Ne Trail saturday on the bikes and then sunday do the Mid North Channel Country bike trail. Monday on the return home was to get Peter's view a 2001 cache. Of course there was many, many other's found on route to the various target for the weekend, somewhere around 260 found by the team. It could have been more but we were not going at a flat out pace, just steady and getting a blow out on the bike 1.6 km's from the end of the Mid North Channel Country bike trail didn't help. I didn't see any snakes this trip but allister did, he saw 5. The caches this trip where written in as JAMS, i forgot the stamps. Also 1 cache was placed by the JAMS team this trip. Out of all the bike tracks i preferred the Rattler /Riesling trail. I like riding through the very rich ( after all the recent rains ) fields of yellow flowers.

A return visit to Clare was planned for the long weekend with the JAMS crew plus tallbikestan to find a lot of the caches that we didn't get to on our last visit along with the Rattler, Riesling and NE trails as well as the Mid North Channel Country trail. [^]
We had three very full days with perfect weather for caching, lots of bike riding, lots of walking and lots of driving along dirt tracks. We were lucky it had not recently been wet as some of the roads we drove on would not have been passable if wet. Loved the scenery at this time of year with everything looking very green as well as the bright yellow of the canola crops.
A fun weekend of caching, lots of caches found and lots of cool places visited.
Thanks for the cache mabar.

The JAMS crew went on an October long weekend adventure back to Clare. We brought Tallbikestan along as we were targetting the bike tracks and he is the best rider amongst us. Allister W and sir_spectre we the other main riders, with JJ52 and I the support crew and walkers. A huge weekend of fun and adventure was had by all, until I made SS sick with my cold....oops.
Thanks to all those who have kept not just the bike tracks but all the other caches alive for us to find.
All caches signed as JAMS.
Thanks to mabar from mogni

Great find! Grew up in the area, always a good place to come back to. Container was dented so a bit hard to open but over all great!!
Would the “great creatures” be those enormous fans to keep the sheep cool??
The whooshing sound is an odd noise for out in the bush.
After a relaxing weekend in Burra Burra it was time to head home, the long way of course .
TFTC Keep smiling

A couple of days away with The White Dog Gang .
The bikes were bought along and we did the Rattler, the N E series and a few of the Reisling Trail. Plus any that were near the roads we travelled along.
Thanks to evryone who put out a cache that we found.

The windmills are certainly not peaceful close up. I wonder what the creatures great and small think about them? TFTC
This was found as we wander this great country

Wow! Previous logs dating back to 2015 say this biscuit tin needed replacing. Contents wet and yucky! We have rescued a TB though! Wonder how long it's been here....TFTC mabar.
Today we headed out to explore the local region. Good day for a drive in the countryside.

Went for a solo caching day just north of home.
The tin is rusting, but dry, like the views.
The creatures seem happy here!

Found with SupaTurtle and Csaba! Support for the E2E11 Heysen Crew. Tra La Laaa
Heading north from home today to convert some unfounds to founds and explore some backroads. Found under the woosh of the Windfarm blades, the lid on this was rusted and the container open. The contents were in reasonable order but the CO will need to bestow some TLC before they aren't. TFTC
Lovely spot for a cache! Found quickly with Dr Owl and Clare007. As mentioned back in June of last year the tin is rusting out and is offering little protection ... the shopping bag is still doing its bit!!
Owl and Clare007 were out with CPwanderer on the way to his 12,000th cache. This was a cache that has seen better days, but in a lovely area.
Out & about with CPWanderer & Dr Owl caching around the back blocks today.
A quick find, luckily the cache still has it's protective bag intact.
Left TB, luckily the driver found his glasses too before we left.
Thanks for bringing us here mabar

Tin needs replacing but nice placement with some beutiful scenery. THANK YOU mabar. Left a Pindari eartag.
With red home from Goolwa for the weekend, ronso was keen to spend some time geocaching with her man :c) We decided on a night caching adventure and headed north, as there were a few new caches still to be found. This was our very last find for the 4th @ 23:50 :c) It has been such an enjoyable night. A fairly quick find and an interesting choice of container. TNLNSL. TFTC mabar!
We found this cache. Unfortunately it was filled with water. We emptied out the water, replaced the snap lock bags and put the ton in a shopping bag. The lid was rusted through so the container needs to be replaced.
This is a really lovely spot. It gave us opportunity to see how loud wind turbines are. TFTC

Found this one with my Bestie on a lil Northern Getaway, looking for older placed cache......
Plenty of swaps for the kiddies at this one.
We won't be needing these sorts of toys for the future!
Those turbines are very loud here, whooshing around and around.
TNLNSL
Thanks

Found with kat191 - a lovely day to be out and about and sharing time with my daughter. Cache container is showing the ravages of time and probably will need replaced sooner rather than later. I re-bagged everything in the hope it is protected from water ingress. The wind turbines are HUGE!!! TFTC TNLNSL
Found It!
Followed the cache trail up the hill to an easy find! A few megawatts of electricity were been produced nearby...

Out with TheKellyGang for a early morning trip... Went past thinking it was along the same road but ended up turning around and back TFTC...
Thanks. I was surprised at seeing 3 other cars while I was here driving by!
Found easily by the geokids, whilst the parents listened to the sounds of the wind turbines
Its been a while since this one was last found (almost 6mths) and we've had alot of rain over that period. Cache ok, the lid was on tight & required some leverage to get it off. Replaced logbook plastic bag SL TNLN TFTC
The wind turbines make a bit of noise, but not too much.

Driving here from the East we saw the impressive Apoinga Lagoon! We must return to explore it one day. Looks like a great place to put a cache.
Finding this cache was easy. I was hoping it would be a plastic biscuit tin. Just as expected, the container is rusting and letting water in. Those furry animals could probably be CITO'd. Mrs J bought some ornamental cows from the hardware store in Eudunda today, but none of those precious things would ever be left behind in a cache. [B)]
Thanks mabar.

There are some great big creatures going up along this ridge now. still a pleasant drive today TFTC.mabar
This was another very pleasant drive in through scenic country and another cache that we have picked up on the Heysen trail. We can't help but wonder how many people have walked the entire length of this trail if any. The GPSr led us directly to the cache location for another nice easy find. We had no creature swaps with us so we simply signed the log.
Thanks but once more mabar for the cache

Found on a lovely day for caching. Surprisingly the first visit for about 8 months. A few other caches I did today have had few recent visits too. Thanks to mabar.
Found by Mary & David at 1550. Wonderful views now that the weather has cleared. Quite deceptive to see green grass everywhere. Took us ages to get the rusted lid off. Our thanks again to mabar.
the container was a bit hard to open but but it was a bit like Noah's Ark the animals came out two by two.

Found just on sunset after orienteering across Tothill range. Took me a while to get the lid off but when I did I found Punky TB who is a really cool penguin. So I took him and left Compass Rose geocoin. Apt for orienteering, I thought.
All creatures great and small! Including pigs - And boy did they make their presence felt [:o]

Enjoyed drive the car in the country... Worth to visit the country instead of city!! SL. Thanks Mabar for organising the cache and hunt.
Found it quickly but struggled to get the container open. When we did, animals went everywhere! Terrific views from here. No animals were harmed while finding this cache. TFTC.
A beautiful drive to gz and lovely views. Found the cache without any problem. Thanks mabar
Sorry, had no creatures to swap with!
Kids had a great time looking through the container anyway.

Lots of goodies in this cache (once you get the lid off). Great spot, took a giraffe and left a cow and a klem bear. Thanks Mabar.
1/3/2008 9.30am Team:A Off for a Saturday ramble on Day 122 of our Big November Challenge.
The aim was to retreive a TB that has plans to head for England, and as this was on the way past, we figured we may as well stop. Picked up Lizzi. Left a few TB's for a quick visit, but they did not want to stay, so collected them again. TFTC The lid is very tricky, but we got there in the end.

Quick find but it was not quick to open the cache. The tin was well sealed and it took some prising open.
Took golf ball TB which seems to have come adrift from its tag so will try and repair.
thanks mabar
