As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache [red]within the next couple of months[/red], just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Found geocaching info card and plastic bag that i suspect the log would have been in but no cache after 40mins of searching
A quick find while enjoying a pleasant walk (in the drizzle) though this area. TFTC
This one turned into a bit of a saga, but eventually we found ourselves on the right side of the water and went for a nice walk in the wetlands. Oldest geokid likes climbing thankfully.

With the legs sore from footy I was glad this was a flat walk. We found the Yowie, and then the song, before we headed for this one.
A nice walk just before dark and we found the cache easily. Glad it wasn't in the creek though as that was flowing very well after the recent rains.

Nice easy walk in. Quite windy today, it was blowing me about a bit while out on the stepping stone. Glad to get back to the path before I was blown into the creek! TFTC
Found cache as we continued our walk. Took penguin ball, left Metro Fire Sevice patch. TFTC
Managed to find a way in from the adjacent industrial estate.
So nice to see water in the creek [^], but wouldn't want to drop any of the electronics at GZ at present .
Took coin. Left penguin ball. SL.
Thanks chizbeki.

After spending the day with the MFS Recruits at the State Training Centre at Brukunga doing Compartment Fire Training, decided to grab a few caches in Mount Barker on the way home.
There were 3 at the Wetlands I hadn't grabbed yet so stopped here on the way home. I was surprised how low the water levels were after the recent rains.
Quick find on this one in between the joggers and dog walkers. Had tried this one another time but found myself on the wrong side of the creek but not today. TFTC.
Day 332 of non-stop caching (1 day to go)

As we don't know the area, we approached the GZ from the industrial estate and found ourselves on the wrong side of a fence, but found a gap and then found that we were still on the wrong side of the creek. Not to be put off, we found a path over the creek and made our way to the GZ with no further problems.
Great spot of the cache, very inventive.
Took a geocoin, made no swaps, TFTC.
Find #485 for Echo & Spice.

Found this on a long walk with my sister. We'd left the family behind playing cricket in the park.
Very cute looking container - has it ever fooled anyone?

I wasn't sure the best place to access this one. I found my way ot the back of the industrial estate and there was a concrete ford over the creek so I was okay.
A lovely hide in a spot that just has place a cache here written all over it.
Thanks Chizbeki

The defenders were out on other manouvers for the day, though the human muggles were prevalent. Left Geocoin "Last Cache of the day" however we have logged it into GC1KAWM by mistake. Hope it will sort itself out. TFTC
I was really glad I was not too short to reach it. Beautiful place. I really enjoyed my walk toward the cache.
Thanks Chizbeki for the cache.
Thanks Chizbeki for the cache.
A damp walk in, but enjoyable none the less. I remember spotting this cache many months ago before my discovery of geocaching, We thought it was an odd place to leave a container, but ignored it anyway. Now we know better [:p]
Much less noticable than i recall though.

A bit longer to walk than I though but the Geokids stuck to it. Geoson picked out caches location but had to leave it to dad to recover.
We loved this walk, the wetlands were amazing and lots of birdlife evident today, we even saw a few blue wrens. And as a bonus we found the cache!

I can see that height would be advantage for geocachers! Good hide - thanks guys. Took little car, left shark shaped bottle opener key ring thingy.
Great cache first one for us that wasn't on the ground.
The rocks were a great touch. Thankfully i'm tall, which made it easier.

Found very ezy just had to watch out for muggles at this one took ball and ten pin left toy car and badge also swaped cloth patchs
Found this geocache incorporating a family walk and bike ride. Great little hiding spot, but use caution with geokids around as there is a creek nearby with a steep edge.
With the aid of the GPSr and the notes the cache was easily spotted. However retrieval was not quite so easy for the Allchins – we are thankful we didn’t drop it!

Found the cache at 3.20pm. Accompanied with Joan. She found it before me!!! We enjoyed walk around the Laratinga Wetland. No swap. SL. Thanks chizbeki for organising the cache and hunt.
Nice stroll indeed. Found the cache without any problems. TNLN. Thanks chizbeki

found with muggles that will probably sign this as a log retrospectively. they left a little cocktail umbrella!
good walk to keep me fit.I always see that tree, but never realised there was a gecache in there![:o]There was a little water in the cache TNLNSL thanks.
A pretty easy find in the middle of a pretty little walk with my ever expanding retinue of caching enthusiasts. Contents of cache were a little moist, dried them as best I could and replaced. TNLN SL TFTC
Found at 17:00. We tried to take a shortcut through the long grass, and eventually turned back when we spotted a couple on the path who had walked past us earlier. Found the better way in, for an easy find.
Found between getting plumbing bit and picking up machined rotors for the old Falcon. This is a nice diversion from the industrial area nearby. There was no pencil in the cache (as is happening more and more these days). I left a lump of wood in the cache as my mark and resolved to tie a little pencil onto my GPS from now on. TFTC
A lovely area for a bike ride today. I soon found the probable hidey hole and with a deep breath made the leap of faith. Got it and put it back without making a splash

Well, this is our first cache, and actually not too far from where we are building a house!
Will be continuing to geo-cache as time permits...... the geo-kids and geo-handbrake had fun and asked numerous questions.

I came in from the other side of the creek, luckily there is a bridge nearby. A couple of kids rode past and stared long and hard at me just as I was logging my find. Perched up where I was there wasn't much I could do except continue to write notes about a tree stump until they moved on. TNLN and quickly rehid the cache. Thanks chizbeki.
This was our third visit to the wetlands as we took two gos to find Piggy's cache, but we hadn't been in this direction. Nice walk on Mother's Day.
Thanks Chizbekis, took a TB.
Thanks Chizbekis, took a TB.
We have visited the eastern start point of this cache when we collected the other cache in this area a couple of years back,(Piggy’s Wetlands) and was glad of the opportunity to explore this great little ecosystem a little more. Had a very pleasant 1km round trip to pick this one up and can see why Chelsea would enjoy it TNLN. Cheers.
Never ventured so far into the wetlands before. A nice walk. Took nothing (TB Mini Me shown wasn't in the cache)but left a TB. TFTC
A great spot for a hidden treasure, luckily one of us had long enough legs! Grabbed travel bugs as well.
Found on a weekend visit back home to Adelaide. Dropped off 2 TB's from Brisbane to do the rounds of Adelaide.
Cheers from the Posspet Boys

This looks like a great wetlands from the otherside of the fence. We also managed the shortcut! Had the geokid with me, so come on guys, it couldn't possibly have been a 4.5! ... 4 maybe! hahahahaha
Left a patch and Sonjas Australian TB TNSL
Thanks
Oh forgot to mention that a muggle had found this on the 8th March and wrote a long note. Basically he said caching sounds like a fun game and he will look up the website!

What can I say but without Freddo and Shonkies help I wouldnt have logged this one. Thanks fellows
I initially thought it was going to be 8m of terrain 5, but Freddo found the 4.5 "path". Nice location, must be even better in daylight!
Found a way to walk to the this cache from 80m. The last 8m was terrain 4.5 though. Cache was exactly where it should be. Nice one guys.
Found by Mary & David at 1135. A lovely walk through the wetlands. Quite a bit of water here still. Plenty of plovers, ibis, ducks, moorhens and magpie larks enjoying the water. TNLN, but collected TB 'Syd' to travel some more. Our thanks to chizbeki.
Initially took the same approach as Team Ermalesh and got to within 20m before having to turn back. Came back in the right way. Never realised how extensive the wetlands are. TNLNSL.
Found 16:40. Thought I'd be smart and turn it in to a quick drive-by.......(Mr C swears he told me about the bridge).....turned the 2 lines of defense into a double barb-wired fence, 5 foot high grass hiding snakes, a 2-3 metre jump across the partially filled creek and then hit the preset lines of defence [B)]. Then it was a quick find. Took: TB, Left: TB, SL. TFTC and obstacle course .
Nice walk to GZ. I didn't know these wet lands existed. An interesting and thriving environment, plenty of birds around and there was the sound of frogs on the air. TFTC.
No problems with this cache. A nice quick find after a pleasant walk.
TN Left a Diabetes TB, Cheers.

Had an enjoyable walk around the wetlands to find this nicely hidden cache. Thanks Ch from the Chizbeki clan. Cheers from Featherwaite.
So now I know why The Scientist takes his bike with him . Plenty of tyre marks as I walked and jogged the track. Stepped up to the crease to find the GZ in the end.
thanx for this - clear skies from TeamAstro.
Well, you know the story from Voogoofish, gozling and lil sis, so I won't repeat except to say that we found it, and TNLNSL Plus I'm really sorry about my backlogging problem, I may have to take you up on those prunes JackHenry
Saw this one pop up last night, having riden past it not long before. Was very suprised at 08:00 this morning that I was the FTF on it. (Watch that second step) Even more suprised that no one has beaten me to actually log it. TNLN
Jackhenry was lucky as Gozling and I were running the "Big Week Out" in Barker see www.bigweekout.org.au (note the shirts in the picture) because I would have given him a run for his money. Hey Beckie's did you handcuff Ermalesh to the staircase before getting this one published??? [B)] Nurssmith (a BWO leader) and Lil-sis also came along after the day... when they publish will tell the story... nursesmith has a bit of a backlog took a soon to be not available shortcut. TNLNSL cheers. 4 way tie for the silver medal
A quick, easy find during a crazy week... It's amazing how a simple cache hunt can be a great energy boost!!! Found with little_sis, nursesmith and voogoofish (I'll leave it to voogs to fill in the details...) TNLNSL
Luck wasn't a factor in this. And I think maybe Nursesmith should try prunes

After an EXHAUSTING day gardening at BWO I was told by voogoofish, nursesmith and gozling that we were heading off to find a new cache. A quick find, so quick in fact that I didn't realise it had been found until I saw nursesmith writing in the logbook!! Thanks!!![:o)]
