As I have not been able to get to this location. Now with uni back, it makes it extremely difficult for me to find time. Therefore, I regretably have to archive this cache
Why would someone bother writing in the log book if they're only going to take the damn thing? [:(!] nI will have to diable it until I can get up that way (possibly today, but (more likely) within the next 2 weeks).
Did this one whilst staying at the CFA facility. Unfortunately only the log book is left as a muggle has found it and written that they have taken the container. I've replaced the log book in a plastic bag and placed him near where I found it but the owner will need to replace the container and maybe relocate it so that the Geo Hill Billies don't find it again [:(!]
This one took us a while- wow- they sure have some amazing hills round here. Glad I don;t have to get up and down them on foot. (especially if shoeless). L elephant , took nothing. TFTC
Was orienteering in the area and as it had stopped raining thought I'd cache my way home. Interesting scenery nearby. TFTC
This is the very first time I have been to this town.
They say don't drink the water from here, now i know why

Thanks jambochicken

A unique location. We found the cache after a short search. It wasn't as hard to find as we thought it might have been when we first drove up to the site. Thanks jambochicken
Last for the day for me.
I see the block across the road is for sale.
My thats one big slag heap.

Found after a bit of looking around....HINT - if the water gets really high, this little geocache could get wet...
A nice day out on the new Geobike. Great road through here. Thanks.
Rated: for Overall Experience
Interest about history - thanks bring me to be here... No swap. SL. Thanks jambochicken for organising the cache and hunt.
Found by The Noodler. Bought back memories of when this was a shooting range. Took nothing, left opal.
Have been to courses here - have a brother in law in the town - finally did the cache.
A quick find with ruddiger who managed to get stung by a bee climbing down to the cache. TNLN SL TFTFC
As soon as I got out of the car, I felt a slight stinging sensation in my left hand. I looked down and there was a bee. I shook it off and it left me a present[B)]. Took nothing left dragonfly travel bug.TFTC jambochicken[8)]
The cache has been disturbed by someone who draws badly (male anatomy!) Prolly not a good place to leave a TB. But worth a visit.
The cache was in an obvious location. That didn't stop me from looking in all the un-obvious places first . The scenery around GZ is stunning.
Best cache of the day; thanks Jambochicken .

This was my first find in about 5 months! I've been so busy with other things I forgot how good it was cache. Found this one on my way to the CFS State Training Centre located down the road. TNLNSL. TFTC.

Auzee spotted this from 10m away, so it was probably the easiest find all day [^].
Took a penny and left some bubble-mix. Hid the contained a little better before we left. Cheers.

Nice easy find while in the area for training at the nearby CFS centre (I'm from Sydney). TNLNSL. Thanks.
There has been a couple of muggle finds on this cache. They signed the log and left everything in place. Thanks for a fun cache guys.
I had all but logged the cache and got back into my car. Then 3 busses pulled up. One got stuck (pic).
It was Adelaide Uni geo end enviro students out on a Sunday drive. Something about the enviro station. The lecturer thought I was the enviro monitoring guy. I played along. The GPS looked like some pH/CO2/XSO4 measuring device. Should have had the external antenna fixed on today
I took pics and a video. MMmmm, shall I You-Tube it?? The poor bloke was drowned out by the moooos of the cows that came running down the hill, possibly at the thought if a free geology cum environmental lesson. All I picked up was that phosphorous leached out decreases the pH (phosphoric acid I guess) and that they have diverted the water so it does not pass through the affected areas now. Also that there is a lime mine on the hill (where the gums are) – I guess they add this to increase the pH as much as possible.
Is the whole thing a success??? Well, time will tell.
Round of applause for the lecturer in the pink shirt. Well done to the attentive students too. Only saw one giggling with the moos.
Clear skies and our thanx to the jambochicken. Left a superball and TN.
Oh, the stuck bus got out. The students pilled out and this lifted the suspension enough for the back part of the bus to lift slightly off the road, and Wulu, no probs! [^]
Mrs voogoo loves ralph wiggum so was sad that the RW TB was already gone but thats caching! TNLNSL.
I come up this way for training a few times a year, just down the road! It doesn't look any prettier in the hole either! Found easily, grabbed the TB(sorry Mrs Voogs).

Found 17:30ish. On the way to the Olds for dinner in Mt Barker and decided that this cache had been waiting far too long for me to get it. Took all the back roads from Woodside to Brukunga, making our journey twice as long as needed, certainly got some strange looks from the locals on such a hot day . Took nothing, Left TB (A bit of a squeeze to get it in!), SL. TFTC.
Have been meaning to do this since it came out. In fact I had intended to rush out as soon as it poped up. However, today I did go for a drive and grab it. Interesting place Brukunga. A high ratio of unsavory residents in the area. I think they may be drinking the water. TNLN SL
Easy find after taking the "scenic" route to the cache, i'd recommend the dirt-road drive to cachers who aren't in a hurry!!! TNLNSL
Driving through the back of Nairne, gozling says to me,"the GPS wants you to go right", "but I thought we need to go left - aren't we doing the fish one?" "no, I thought we were doing Brukunga!" well we took the road on the right and hoped it would take us there. It did. Found easily. Took One Way geocoin and Texas Wooden Nickel TB Left Yellow dinosaur Neopet SL TFTC
Found cache tucked away in its hidey hole. Dropped off Texas Wooden Nickel TB (received in the post from CelticPrincess in Florida) and One Way TB. Retrieved Bunya Rubik's Cube (2) TB. Thanks for the cache jambochicken!
My apologies for not dropping the TB earlier
Thanks for the reminder Geo_Stik

A very interesting little spot, but that water is a very strange colour!! A quick find just before sunset. The rockpiles looked very yellow [^]
TN left Bunya's Rubik's cube geocoin & SL.

WooHoo!! A FTF for the first day of the month. A reasonably quick find before breakfast but I should've opened my eyes before searching. Luckily it wasn't placed in the acid [xx(]. Thanks jambo for the cache.
Wow you have to get up pretty early to beat chizbeki to a FTF, oh well silver again for me at 8am.
