Today was my respite day and I needed to go caching to balance things out a bit. It was a nice morning to go caching, great weather and quiet roads. It was nice to be back over on the east side. This one was a quick solve some moons ago. I had a lot of trouble here, looking in all the wrong places. Eventually, the little fella was felt before being seen and the book was signed. Cache in good condition. Thanks for the cache schatzsuche1. Find #9162 at 8.03am
Found it A quick easy puzzle which had me even more puzzled after solving it, reached out and sure enough I was right. aka the coloured mint tin by the sea peopleaka Minty ManTFTC schatzsuche1
Time for another Wednesday Wander and with the Terrible Third being interstate it was just the Dynamic Duo. This half was intent on the 14 thousand milestone on a particular cache but after that was found it was a variety of caches to fill out the day. Over half were from the new Gone in 60 Seconds series, which satisfied the traditionalist in me and helped reduce the seemingly ever increasing number of trads in my 42K circle. The company was good, the weather great so, all in all, another enjoyable day out caching. This one was added to today's list at the last moment, managed to park close by and started looking. Kept on looking in all the wrong places before finally looking in the right place. Nice to get a smilie on such an old one. Thanks to schatzsuche1 for placing this cache on our playing field.Cache #14002 for me.This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).****SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. I solved this one back in 2021 and it had been sitting in the to-do pile ever since. Judging by the other logs, a lot of other people seem to have done the same! I arrived at GZ slightly unsure if it was correct but my mind was put at ease when I saw the structure. I did a few laps poking and prodding before eventually spotting it after about 15 mins in a spot I could have sworn I'd already looked in. TFTC!
Parents solved the puzzle, and I joined the search at final location. Signed my name on the log. Thanks for the cache.
Today is a sunny Sunday. I and J plus the little one planned to visit Waterfall Gully. We tried 4 caches (1 letterbox hybrid cache, 1 traditional cache, 1 mystery cache, 1 multi cache) there, and found first three.
The puzzle has been solved long time ago. Luckily, the difficulty level is right for me.
Walked from the playground nearby, to final location. Nice view there.
It took me a while to find the cache. I suspected a spot, and spent quite some time on searching, but no luck. I was given one more minute to search this cache before I had to give up this time, but luckily I found the cache in the last minute.
Quickly signed the log. The kid signed the log as well, as she joined the search.
The lid of container was detached, but still functioning.
Thanks for the mystery cache, schatzsuche1. Glad to find a cache which is over 15 and a half years old.

This has been sitting on our solved pile for a very long time, and after our visit to Hazelwood Park earlier today, we decided to finally clear some of the light blue marks off our geocaching map. Interesting spot at GZ and the view is magnificent for an urban setting Cache is still nicely tucked away, and although the lid is broken, we managed to re-attach it before placing the container back to its hiding place. Today we had a bit of free time before joining Weredunn4 and Laighside Legends for a drains adventure so we decided to find a few caches in the east
I’d come here previously but unfortunately couldn’t find the cache so after a PAF I returned today who helped me in the right direction, a quick find here and cache is all good

Had this cache on the solved list, and today after hiking the Long Ridge Lookout I searched the structure for the cache. It was well hidden and eventually after making several loops around it, the cache was found. Neat hide which was tucked away nicely out of the rain.
Looked for this one about a year ago with no luck.
SupaOrange and SupaTurtle have had many looks for this one on the various sleepover at the Grandparents. Today as I picked them up they were very pleased to tell me they had found it. After a quick game of hot and cold the cache was in my hand and the old log still in place. Thanks

Looked and looked for this many times. Today after a play the cache was found. Turtle Out
This evening, I headed out for a few hours towards Adelaide's eastern suburbs, targeting a select few geocaches.
I had this puzzle some time ago, and so whilst in the area, I decided to call by. It felt like I searched all across that structure, and I couldn't find any cache here. With several DNFs now, could the CO look to check this one to confirm that the cache is still here? Thanks anyway schatzsuche1 for the cache placement.

Solved this one a few days ago but unfortunately today was unable to locate the cache in the time allowed (20 mins). Have PAF a previous finder so will return soon for another look, hopefully it is still there.

Found caching around eastern suburbs. Had co ords for some time. TFTC and great view.
We’ve found all of the traditionals in the area so we’ve had to move to puzzle caches! This took a bit of thinking and a few nights of googling puzzle solvers and then it hit me! Funnily enough, we hid our first cache a week ago very close by!
This is one of those puzzles that I solved so long ago that I can't even remember! It has been sitting in my pile for years just waiting until I was in the area. I'm not sure why I have never followed up on it as I have been quite close a few times before.
Anyway, today was the day and I went out after lunch to find a couple of caches.
Arriving at GZ I had a pretty good idea where I might find it and, sure enough, it was in the very first place I looked. I like that. And not another soul in sight.
Thanks schatzsuche1 for the puzzle and the cache.

Like most mystery caches, I looked at this initially and had no idea so put it away. I stumbled across it again recently and read a couple of previous logs and an idea jumped into my head which turned out to be correct.
I was in the area so made a short detour to search for this cache in the fading light. Thanks to the torch on my phone, I managed to get at the right angle to spot the cache. There was a little bit of broken glass at GZ but I managed to get away unscathed.

drove past this one today and realized i haven't logged it. That's what you get for forgetting to bring your GPS with you. Found with others after one of the 30 or so events i attended this year. quick find.
Made the find with JJ52 and Sir Spectre after we had attended the CITO event nearby. A nice park area I hadn't seen before. TFTC
Solved this puzzle last night when I knew I would be close by today for a CITO event. [^]
After collecting rubbish, eating lamingtons and chatting I headed here with sir_spectre and allister w hoping many hands and eyes would make for a quick find after reading some previous logs.
We all started looking and allister was the one who came up with the find reasonably quickly.

Thank you you to SA Sewerats for solving this puzzle.Quick find... luckily. Approaching the structure I became apprehensive of how long this could take a find. Mr.B had a sharp eye tonight and found the little cache, wasn't as little as I first thought it was going to be a dam nano. Lol
After attending a 4WD Club planning meeting, I took the slow route home grabbing some caches on the way in the rain. TFTC.
Was out caching with two puzzle solvers when I found this cache. Both brisal5 and Andy C love a puzzle. I am always happy to provide transport, seeking assistance and buy coffee to avoid hurting my head too much. TFTC schatzsuche.
Woo hoo the stars and planets have aligned and myself, Mrs M&M and Andy C. all have the day free to go caching.
Another puzzle that has been sitting on my solved list for so long I have no idea when I solved it. My profession for forty odd years had me using this code on a daily basis so the puzzle was quickly deciphered. Indeed I think I was still using it at that time, and now I have been retired almost two years it is time to start finding all those puzzles. Arriving a GZ the search area was also very easy to identify and it wasn't too long before the cache was in hand.

After taking my mother shopping we wandered up to this park to make the find. Took a while to spot and my dog Bindi was getting annoyed we weren't playing in this lovely spot. Thanks for the hide!!!!
A puzzle that I could solve. Miracle! Love that caching brings you to interesting nooks and crannies of where you live. Made a bit of a dog' breakfast of finding the cache. Looked and felt in all the little spaces and hidey holes and then geopartner said he could see it, then saw it right in front of my eyes in a place I had already looked. Go figure. Thanx
Like many others the puzzle gave me less trouble that tracking down the cache at GZ. I went around and around the structure. Looked under it. Climbed over it. Looked inside.
And just like many others I found it in the last place I looked.

It didn't take long to identify a strategy to solve this problem. From that point, we soon had a set of plausible coordinates. This morning we went to look for the cache. There were no problems identifying the object on/in which the cache was hidden, but it did take a few minutes before the cache was located. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the puzzle and cache schatzsuche1.
The numbers in this puzzle fell out relatively quickly after hitting on the right method. Enjoyed doing it very much. When got to the GZ, I thought it would take ages to find but I was lucky and had it in my hand in no time. TFTC and the puzzle. Cheers
My wonderful friend from Melbourne came for a visit and since she had asked me to meet her, and her 8 week old baby girl Melody, at the very coffee shop that Sushilord and Dr Owl had held one of their Puzzles for Beginners events at, that put me in the mood for caching afterwards.
29 for the locus cache run which had me eventually arriving home at 2.30am.
This is a cool park, even in the darkness, and I even found an easter egg obviously left over from a birthday party easter egg hunt as there was also a birthday party hat laying around too.
Having been given a helping hand with this cache, I then had to find the hiding spot as my GZ was a tad out.
After a PAF to ascertain that I was in the right area, which I hadn't been, I made a quick find of the cache.
I have since tried Google in an attempt to ascertain exactly what that object at GZ is but to no avail

Solved this one many months ago but this is the first time we've been nearby for the find. After parking nearby the GPS had me all around the edges of this little spot but one place always seemed the most obvious. Checking some recent logs confirmed my suspicions and so the search began in earnest. Today luck was on my side and, in about the second place I put my hands, the unmistakable shape of everyone's favourite cache container. TFTC schatzsuche1
Had this one sitting in GSAK for a little while, thanks to our friend Lord Stompy. Squirrel and I headed out to check on the location and made the find after about 5-10 mins searching. TFTC Schatzuche
Hmmmm. A sneaky hide. I would say you are looking for a micro rather than a small. We eventually found this one after reading some of the other logs and 5-10 mins of rummaging around in the dark. Found with bek-theraccoon. TFTC

Geodad and Missmoo were on a playground when an awesome place for a cache was spotted. Predicting that there must be something there already, the nearby puzzle caches were attempted and what do you know, one of the answers comes up nearby! So a quick detour today on the way to another playground and the smiley was ours. Took a bit of looking until the tidy little hide was found. Lucky we'd had our wheaties that morning as well as it was a bugger to get off. TFTC schatzsuche1
Gotcha!
Fortunately, having an aviator, or perhaps more accurately, an aviatrix in the family meant that this puzzle was a tad easier to solve than other so-called 3 star puzzles out there. (Yes, I'm looking at you Calumphing_Four!)
Searching the structure was another story. I was almost about to give up and log a DNF when I spotted one region that I had not yet completely examined. Success!
But I'm wondering if there are two equally difficult to find caches on this structure... A number of previous finders' names are conspicuous by their absence from the physical log...??!!
Thanks schatzsuche1

I don't know why I never tried this one before, it was quite a confidence booster for me. I "discovered" this puzzle the other day, solved it very quickly (for me, at least), then took two days to make it here after a slight detour "on the way to work"
It took less time to find it than to park the car too!

One of the longest 'solved but not found' puzzles. Like others I had visited GZ before in vain, but today after our hike in Chambers and Waterfall gully, I wasn't going to let this opportunity go past.

It's there, it's gone, it's there, it's gone!! I'd almost written off any chance of ever getting this cache. Been in the solved pile for soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long and been on the watchlist for nearly as long. It's positively phonetic!!

Solved this a week or so ago, but just couldn’t locate it tonight. I’m fairly sure my solution is correct and had some of the same issues as previous finders; putting me a bit away from potential hiding spots, but when you extend the search you end up with so many potential spots!!! Even in the dark there were a number of people around, making thorough searching difficult. Might try to luck on a time with less muggles around...
The puzzle was solved a fair while ago, I've been wimping out on tackling caches in this area because of the extra up hill involkved. I saw this cache come back on line and decided to jumped in for a quick find on the morning ride to work. You could call this visit a testing of the waters, so to speak.

Mr O worked this out a while ago, so it was only fitting that he be the one to find it and sign the log. You can imagine the dismay when he saw the tremendous muggle picnic in session below the walkway! Not to be deterred, he made his way down, found the spot (luckily facing away from the picnic) and 'spoke' on the Garmin phone with one hand while fiddling with the hiding spot, cache and log with the other. All went well, and we're pretty certain nobody suspected anything. TFT puzzle and the cache.
