Think we made a mistake as final didn’t make sense. Didn’t enjoy it enough to do it twice.
Have had this on my to do list for too long. Nice sunshine between the rain. I am very aware of the great work done here but have never visited. An artist was working on his painting of a Kereru on the side of a nearby building with awesome results, enviable talent. Cache was out in the open so tucked it back into its hidey hole. Thsnks for a pleasant informative wander.
Well its taken me awhile to come and search for this cache. But this seemed the perfect time, with little rebel playing in the nearby park. A short walk to GZ was a great idea.
With a bit of wandering about we soon had collected all the required information to find the cache, and off we went on our search.
It did not take us to long to find the cache, and my 3700th find
Thanks for the multi, and the mini adventure today.

Thanks for the multi, and the mini adventure today.
I was pleased to see this cache was replaced so popped by today to make the find. No one around and I made a nice quick find to turn my frown upside down
Seeing that the cache had been replaced we decided we should revisit and find out if our calculations were correct. Very pleased to find our co-ods were spot on. The cache was visible as we approached. Have hidden hopefully slightly better. TFTC.
I was happy to see that this cache was reinstated. I came by today and found the final. It sure is easier to find when it is actually there! TFTC.
After the cach being MIA the other day, tramper2 has graciously and very quickly replaced it. Claiming the FTF on the new cache. Again this was good fun and made for an enjoyable day. TFTC
Like everyone else we sussed out the clues and headed to gz, everything tells me i am in the right area but no sight of cache. Suggest you either check cache or archive. Lets us all know, thanks
Went to site today and found catch had been nicked. A new catch is now in place and up and running.
Happy hunting

Had fun finding the clues to work out the co-ordinates. However DNF cache. Felt like we were going in circles trying to fund the cache.
I had a lovely wander around the gardens and got most of the information I required but couldn't find the Maori Medicinal information. I chatted to one of the ladies there and she couldn't help me either, but I decided I could work out the final without it. I had a pretty good look and even checked with a previous finder that I was looking in the right place but still couldn't find it. I'm not having much luck with New Lynn multis!
We parked at the coordinates and had a look around. Someone popped out of one of the buildings and offered assistance and we asked where we could find display boards. She told us about the area, and asked what we were doing so we took this opportunity to tell her about geocaching. She was quite intrigued. We found all the display boards except for A. Fortunately the answer was given. I notice that many people couldn't find C. You have to walk to the next building. We made out the coordinates and went for a walk but couldn't find the geocache. Maybe the owner could check as it;s 3 DNF's logged. I was hoping to log this this weekend for the multi cache Mission, but I think I have to look for another now, and the wet weather is not helping . We've been to this park many times but have never walked the whole length of the cycle path. Thanks for the walk.
Interesting little tour around the gardens. Eventually got some co-ordinates which led us to a likely spot. No good at locating the cache. Not sure if we have done some of our calculations incorrectly. Will watch and revisit again at a later date.
Came by here and parked in the given carpark co-ords. Went for a wander around the cycle track and found nothing in the way of signs, I knew they had to be here somewhere! Where was I going to find them? Well, I did find them, close by the carpark, in fact **all** the signs were there in the eco area including the Maori medicinal one! So no guessing on my part here for the co-ords! So once my workings were done, I loaded the GPS with final co-ords and I was soon signing myself in! Thanks tramper2 for the fun cache.
Found this a while back when only using the GPSr and forgot to log it. Had a great encounter with a local & his dog at the gardens who helped us find some of the info and gave us some interesting facts about the local plants TFTC!
My second visit here. On first visit I ended up talking extensively about recycling and simply ran out of time. On second visit I couldnt find any info on maori medicinals so Geocchi and I ploughed ahead anyway and tried to used our third eye. We got there thanks!
Took a while to get going here but eventually got it sussed. Could not find two of the clues so decided to strike up a conversation with one of the Council staff who help manage the facility. After quite an interesting conversation about their alternative mode of transport we asked where we could locate some info to the questions we had not solved. Voila. He was so helpful, even explaining what we could do with certain plants to have a really great nights sleep. And who says you should not talk to strangers.
I used this cache to introduce geocaching to a friend (G) and her dog Toby. I had no idea this centre was here and even though I've driven past Olympic Park numerous times over years and years today was the first time I have stopped here. Thank you. I thoroughly enjoyed walking around and finding the information required to obtain the final co-ordinates and walking around Olympic Park looking at the artwork. Toby enjoyed our outing too.
At the location of our final co-ordinates we had an interesting encounter with some primary school aged children but no cache was seen despite (as it turns out) both myself and G looking and feeling where cache was. Assuming we had somehow mucked up the co-ordinates we ended up doing quite a big walk and still no cache. We just couldn't believe it was as hard as we were finding it and went back to the location of our final co-ordinates and there, in full view, was the cache.
Log signed. If I haven't scared G off geocaching, she will join geocaching.com and try for the user name Holymoocow so recorded this in the log. Cache replaced in same location but a little more discretely than when we found it.

After visiting the puzzle location twice to verify questions, 1 of them still had me stumped. Was able to make a guess on likely location and without to many issues was able to find.

Never did find the Maori medicinal plants but made an educated guess and found the cache. Thanks for giving me a novel way to fill time while waiting for my boy at acting class.

out with Lokky1 today to collect a few puzzles. While waiting for Lokky at the start of the day I collected the info. Quick find at the location. I had been meaning to get this one for a while now but just did not get around to it! TFTC
Found eventually after sending hubby off in the wrong direction to start with!
An interesting place to search around for all the answers. I had to ask someone digging in one of the gardens for the info to answer C which was tucked away. They run some neat garden courses here.Once the coordinates were done the cache was quick to find. Tftc
Out and about today signing off on some solved puzzle caches. With that out of the way it was time to enter one more cache mode. I have been being to do this multi for some time so when this popped on the GPSr screen, off I went. At the parking coordinates I had zero luck finding the desired information. Have things changed, or am I a little slow today? Anyway, I wandered about looking for the information and stumbled upon the final. Better lucky than good! Took the geo coin. Cheers for the cache placement!
An interesting cache for both the 7yo and me. Nice little hiding spot as well. Likes the sculptures down here that we hadn't seen before. TFTC
I parked in this car park and went and found the cache across the road before coming back to tackle this multi. It took a while to track down all the information and in the end I had to have a guess at 'C'. That got me close enough to find the hint feature and there was the cache. Good fun and a neat and informative multi. TFTC, Biggles.
Made a stop by here at lunchtime (working around appointments) and wandered down between showers. Some waypoints took longer than they should have but got there in the end and better still stayed dry.
Soon signed and on the way once again
Thanks for the placement

Thanks for the placement
A very friendly grey cat accompanied me to the signs, trying to distract me from finding the clues - until a sunny spot beckoned for a nap. Found the maori medicinal sign by chance luckily and from there it was a straight forward find and then a wander around the park. TFTC.
Worked through the clues & soon headed in the correct direction to find cache. Thanks for bringing us here, has given us some great ideas!
Found eventually, after a bit of a challenge. Misinterpreted one of clues and ended up looking in wrong place that matched hint exactly...go figure. Another Senior Moment. Had to revisit and re-evaluate thanks to hint from Lokky251....good old Red Squad. Soon found once I was going in the RIGHT DIRECTION....nice cache and environmental education...
cheers V.

I enjoyed walking around in the morning to gather the required information and even had a nice chat to a muggle who works in the eco house. TFTC
Good to get this one today after some Avondale ones .... Have often taken kids to this cool playground , and have been to a Sustainable Living Expo there too ....
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Decided to pop out this afternoon to do a few Multi caches out West. We wandered around a wee bit before we discovered the sources of information for this multi - we then went about collecting all numbers except "C", which we figured wasn't that important. We then made our way to location of the final, where we made a quick find with the hint. Thanks for the multi and the nice walk in the park.

Nice easy cache to find, great park to visit as well. Be weary of roadworks around currently though.
This was our second attempt after a previous dnf. Found the cache using the hint, rather than using the clues. While the kids were playing on the playground, I went for a wander around the paths, trying to find the answers. Eventually I ended up at the suggested parking spot, then I wandered around and finally found the boards I was meant to have found in the first place. Like FMZ I couldn't find the answer to C, and also I missed seeing the water tank. Pleased to cross this off the list, as I quite often drive past this park when I visit my mother, and was aware that I hadn't found it.
Have been meaning to complete this multi for a while, so dropped by on my way home from work today. I wasn't sure how close was close, so it took a while for me to locate the display boards and only after I had been on a 20 minute stroll around the entire park. Found all the answers except C - I thought I had C at one point, but there were too few listed for the equation to make sense. Never mind, I continued on without it. At GZ I found someone's discarded shorts (perhaps an idea for another Ashton Kutcher movie - "Dude, where are my pants?") and then found the cache, which is in good condition. TFTC!!!
Found it by using the clue instead of the puzzle because we couldn't find any of the answers at first. Some of the information boards had been wrecked, we then saw some information boards after we had found the cache already

Found this one in the afternoon after been in the wrong spot this morning. Great hiding place and a massive slug has attached itself to the container - nice! Cool learning centre I never knew existed until

Went to the suggested parking, and couldn't see any information boards around. I guess we were meant to walk around the paths, so will do another day.
What a great spot. Loved the artworks in the park. Couldn't find the answer to one of the clues but got there anyway.
I have been trying to get this one off the list for sometime now. Decided to take little snakelion for a stroll around the park and get this done. Mrs snakelion (dedicaching) took care of the pram while I gathered the required information. She had to take pram away when she saw a little mouse just sitting on the concrete walkway, looking little drugged. I was not too surprised since it was a garden area and there could be pesticides and what not.
Once the data was gathered, quickly derived the coordinates. Had to do trail and error since I missed one question. It seemed to be the important one since trying different combinations, made the distance vary a lot. Eventually spotted the likely cache area and bingo!!!!!Very pleased with the find.

Out visiting Olympic park today with my daughter and her grandma. After about an hour and a half of good play time on the playground I decided that before we went home we should give this cache a try. My daughter got to see all the plants and we talked about the conservation methods and other information available. Then we headed out to the cache for a nice easy find for my daughter with the hint. We stepped away from GZ in order to log the find and had a quick and easy job of replacing it. TFTC and the educational hunt for the final coordinates!
Couldn't find one of the answers to one of the questions but got by without it. Really enjoyed the walk around the park and all the sculptures along the way. Thanks for the most enjoyable multi!
Wow, nice park. Could easily have taken home a lot of the park sculptures. TFTC. Enjoyed it.
After going around and answering the questions I found that I couldn't find the answers to one of them. So I guessed what the answer might be and headed off to what I thought where the final location should be. And Eureka there it was. Good guessing, Tufty.
Out: Geocoin.
Cheers for the cache.

4252 Nice little multi, interesting reading along the way. Great area full of interesting sculptures. Thanks for encouraging us to enjoy a stroll around the area.
This one took a while as had inputted the co-ordinates incorrectly, found it in the end, took Cat TB
Had a lot of fun with this one.
Found ALL the information and then an easy find at GZ.
In: Cat Geocoin
Out Oz Megga Geocoin.
Thanks for the hunt.

I love gardening so this destination was very informative and inspiring. Could not locate one of the answers...a very important one! So it was a long lesson in deduction and finally located in the last place I looked. Think I was distracted by al the amazing statues in the area. Great cache Thanks.
Had started this one a while back and never got around to finishing it. Was out in the area on a hunch searching for something else and it made good sense to knock this one off as well. Really like what they've done with the area here now, even on a wet day the park was still buzzing (not just from the power pylons either) TFTC.
Nice puzzle. Had a difficult time finding the notice boards as it didn't look like a sign public space. Once I found the first sign, the rest was easy.
Finally made it back after DNFing this one late last year. I still cant work out the medicinals, but found the cache by making a guess at the number. Thanks.
Great centre & loads of information that we are going to put to good use. Really loved this one. TFTC. Took TB & Left Geocoin.
Actually tried to do this one last weekend but guess something was on at the park as we couldn't get near the place. No worries today though and enjoyed the nice walk around. TFTC
Had no trouble finding the signage and required information about Plants and Things back in December, but could not locate the cache. We made a revisit to the area today, and were quickly able to find the relocated container. Thanks for this interesting and informative multi.

Was in the area collecting a puzzle cache and decided to do this one too. Collected all the required info (except one digit which I guessed). Got to my calculated GZ and quickly spotted the likely hiding spot. TFTC

This is not working out well for me. I found the sign and worked out the cords, but I couldnt find the cache!! But it could be that Im looking in the wrong place!!!
A pleasant walk in the sunshine around the gardens to gain the infromation required. Quickly did the maths and then we were off to the final. Interesting park with lots of artwork around T4TC.
Great Cache, liked having to work out the co-ordinates by answering questions. My 6yr old found this one and was very excited. Took nothing. Cache a little damp so dried out as best we could. TFTC
Great place for young kids to visit. Cache and contents were fine but the log book damp. Left a jandal keyring, took an Ozzie coin. Thanks.
Found today! My very first cashe!
Great fun, Almost gave up but found it on the way out.
Cashe was a little damp but the notebook is fine.
Cheers!

Great park, enjoyed the whole exploration of plants and learning about the efforts of the Waitakere Council to showcase sustantiable living. Been to the playground before, didn't realise all this was here though.
Super!
Enjoyed the puzzle and locations very much - interesting and original information worth learning about.
Appreciated.

13:20 Couldn't find one of the clues but decided to give it a go anyway. But I couldn't find the cache
Went back and checked my numbers and also found the missing clue. Also called YuGeo4 to confirm I was in the correct park. Headed back to GZ and found the cache in a spot that I thought I had searched before. Isn't that always the way...
TNLN. Thanks for cache its a nice park, loved all the new artwork.

Second time lucky as previous visit during overcast rainy day failed to pinpoint cache.
Interesting place, enjoyed reading all the information but had to find the cache without the help of the medicinal plants, thought we found the plantings but didn't find the sign. Thaks for the hunt. TNLN
Found after a bit of a protracted search, it was really quite an easy hide when I got on to it.
Had a bit of trouble too with the signs. The medicinal plants was not where I expected and I didn't notice it first off.
