Did a quick inspection & it has gone.
Bush is way too trampled & needs some regeneration time.
Will replace when a bit better.

3rd person that couldn't find it.
Either has been shifted or a hard find! Had a good 1/2hour looking

Like the previous logger, looked under many bushes, but not luck. However thanx for bringing us to this historic spot.
Stopped in Beachport for lunch on our way to Kingston. After lunch we decided to grab a couple of caches. Did not have a great success rate only 1 found and 2 DNF.
This was a DNF.
Three of us spent a good 15 minutes looking in and under every bush, but could not find it today. Widened the search after reading previous logs but still no luck.
Thanks for bringing us here and the history NKJ.

After my last job at the Medical Centre, now time for a cache or two. Easy find and learned about a little history in the area. TFTC

Mark is off, or cache has been moved. Does not match hint. If maintenance checking , look to the Right of the interest point in smaller 'hint'....
TFTC! Hard to find, perhaps hint needs updating (more detailed) or position updated! But great spot, interesting history!
Searched around for 10 minutes, geohusband went back to the track and found it in 30 seconds.

TFTC, TN, Left a gift for the kids. Nice easy find after 4WDing with the FJ Cruiser Club.
Found it after a bit of time, took army soldier. Beware of ants and mosquitos. Good GC
Geoson was asleep in the car so Geomum waited while Geodad went to find the cache, a few minutes later Geomum saw Geodad running back to the car. Geodad got 13 metres away from the cache when he saw a big black snake tail go into the bush in front of him so he left it and retreated back to the car!
An interesting location to have a well. Won't have known about it if not for the cache. Nice town, rather scenic! TFTC.
There was a cupcake Munzee here, which we captured, then did the Cache.
The Logbook is over full, had to use the outside back of it. TFTC

Very easy. Container was basically on the trail so we put it back under the bush.
A nice, simple find. Intresting read about Lanky before leaving.

searched high, low and everywhere in between sadly a no show might have to try again next year!
Found on our journey home after a great caching trip to Mt Gambier.
Once again we find ourselves at a place of local historical importance. We love these caches. A fairly quick find for Mr M. TFTC NKJ.

After reading about this well on the plaque. GeoPartner found the cache. Very disappointed about the use of the log book. Not all the pages have been used and now other people can't write their log in sequence! Stuck our sticker on the back of the book...

What a wonderful cache in amongst all the modernity of Beachport
Nice to see that the area around this historic site has been retained as bushland [^]
The well is an interesting place to visit and you get a bonus geocache too
From here I followed the trails almost all the way to Aggie's Patch too [^]

Nice easy find. It's a pitty that places like this have to be fenced in. Awesome place. Tftc.
Found with geo sis after reading the information and looking in the well (while tori had a little break on the chair) me and Aaron searched I found because I seen something that looked a bit sus (also removed a bi of rubbish) look high lighter left some lucky stars (5 I think)
# 1844. This is one of the reasons I love caching. Being led to unexpected and hidden gems. This was a great find and I was interested to read its history. We then went on to Lanky's resting place on the way out of town. A favourite from me. Made a quick find here and covered a little better before leaving. TFTC
A quick adventure to a hidden location. Thanks for bringing us here. T 10 cents L flouro pen
I thought this well was furthur out of Beachport township, cache needed a new bag and while I was waiting for Mrs Nicko to return with one from the car I heard voices coming towards me on the path. Had to stick cache under my arm and march out past the muggles, changed bag over and by then they had gone so returned cache to its hiding spot. Took nothing, left a rhino. TFTC

Wet contents!
It's great to hear about local identities.
I approached this from the wrong direction, with scratchy bushes, ducking and climbing required, before I hit an inpenetrable block of bushes. Retraced my steps, wandered down the road a bit, and followed the nice path that has been built for walking in to the well. DOH!
Thanks for bringing me here and telling me about Lanky.

Found by B3.
While on a short holiday in the South East, we thought it only fitting to do a few caches.
We had a go at this one a year or so ago while down here, but I don't know why we couldn't find it then?

Some more interesting history here, thanks NKJ. Cache was a bit exposed but is nicely camo'd.

We looked for this one when we were in the area last time some 3 years ago, this time we found the cache in the second place we looked.

A pleasant short walk to this one. Took us a while to locate as GPS was sending us too far off the track. Thanks for showing us a part we wouldn't have visited or known about.
first cache for the day with fellow cachers daysekers.
took GC Krisi's Gift to visit.

Thanks for bringing us here - we certainly would not have come here without being directed by a cache. Interesting piece of history.
Loved this one. Have an affinity with the Aboriginal people after having lived amongst them for 5 years. Great to see Lanky being acknowledged for the very important work he did. Pity they didn't listen to the trackers more when trying to solve the Azaria Chamberlain case at Ayers Rock. This is one of those spots the average tourist might well miss, how many times do we say that when out geocaching. [^] After having done this cache, we were of course keen to visit Lanky's final resting place. Thanks so much for this great cache - getting a favourite point from us.
Cool, want to know how deep the well is? Did the hard way to get under tree only to find a geo trail other side.
We visited Lanky's Grave on our way through last time, so it was good to find an aspect of Lanky's life. Great well. Thanks NKJ. Took Racing Mouse TB (no sign of the other TB supposed to be here), left a car charm.
We found it! Good hunt! Very well hidden! Took My Little Pony stamp, left smiley face badge!
Geocaching takes you to historic sites that you would miss in driving around it is good to learn a bit of history of towns you visit. Thanks for the cache.
Great day for seeking a cache! Took some nail clippers and left a big dice.
Interesting history too.

Awesome! Took dice, left float and extra writing pages as note book was full. TFTC Rob Michelle
Unfortunately did not find today, bit too hot and snakey to be climbing under bushes.....next time!! TFTC
