A beautiful Autumn morning caching in Spring Gully Conservation Park and surrounds. Some fantastic hides in this neck of the woodsMany thanks for the hide freedom friday
I decided to take Friday off work to make it a four day weekend. The plan was to explore around Barossa and Clare valleys. Im not much of a wine drinker but there sure are lots of geocaches in these parts. I brought my bike along so I could tackle some of the many caches along bike tracks. A little cool through out the day but the sun was shining which always makes me happy. Yes I am a John Denver Fan. Quick find here. All good. Thank you freedom friday, for placing Over Skilly's hill for the geocaching community.# # #14981 # #

Found it! After spending the morning walking around Clare doing 2 AdLabs and finding caches along the way, decided after lunch to do some drive-bys in the surrounding area, now heading back towards home. Quick find here. TFTC!
Great find, thank you! Sampled the wines at the Cellar too. Absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous scenery as well. Definitely worth the stop
Travelling Australia in our caravan since February 2014.With magnificent weather forecast we were up early this morning for a 5+ km hike in the Spring Gully National Park. We were hoping to beat the heat AND the flies. great walk, really enjoyed the wildflowers, and only a few flies!Mrs Felix had a rest at her computer after lunch, whilst Mr Felix tackled some newer caches by bike on the riesling trail which we first tackled back in 2014. Once together again, we headed off in the geocruiser to tackle a few more caches to get away from the constant construction noise in the caravan park. TFTC freedom friday
Our last mission of the day was to head to Clare Valley Brewing Co to grab a couple of takeaways. I always like to grab a few local beers for when the wine runs out at the end of the night.
During the afternoon I handed my wife the phone and told her to yell out if we were coming close to a cache. Of had happened a few times but at this one she told me, we weren’t on a road but getting close.
The metres counted down and so did my thirst for a beer. For the second time today I was rewarded with some local brews and a cache. tftc

Neither hubby or myself really are wind drinkers but we are addicted geocachers so even with the rain and muddy conditions we were out today checking out the area and seeing what we can find. For such an old cache it is in good condition and being of a good size we dropped a TB into it. SL TFTC
TFTC. Even after wine tasting we were able to find the geocache. Nice morning in winter for this
Whew. After lunch at the nearby winery which was quite nice, a brisk walk over the hill to secure a find in the Clare region to add to my Progect P-G stats.
Thanks ff for the cache.

This weekend, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I headed to the Clare Valley for a bit of wine tasting and cycling the Riesling Trail. We were treated to great sunny weather, and nice to have been visiting the wine region.
Today, [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and I started the day with a geocaching event breakfast and a few geocaches around the town of Clare. We then proceeded south riding our bikes along the Riesling Trail. We made a few uphill detours either side of the valley to *Pallet Wines* and *Jeanneret Wines and Clare Valley Brewing Co* respectively, which certainly tired us out. A final stop at *Tim Adams Wines*, before completing the northern section of the Riesling Trail towards Barinia.
After not being able to get in to eat at another winery, we decided to head down to the valley and back up on the other side of the ridge, attempting to *Skillogalee Winery*. However, luck wasn't on our side today, for that appeared to have just closed for an afternoon wedding. So, we continued west to *Clare Valley Brewing Co*, passing this cache as we did. This turned out to be a quick find, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks freedom friday for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/@jesswrigley stamp.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
In the Barossa, staying in Nuri with our good friends Snappy Tom Cats. HevWalker joined us for the weekend, so we devised an area around Clare that we had not cached, and they had quite a few they had not yet found. Set off with lunch packed and gps's loaded

Day 4 of this years Christmas holiday trip. On our way to Adelaide (from Canberra) collecting answers to several of the windmill cache multi's. Today we stayed in Clare and done an all day winery tour with Clare Valley Tours (Clare Uncorked). We had an absolutely fabulous day with our guide, Dave. While on the tour I convinced Dave (Davey2560 to sign up to geocaching.com and we sought this cache out to be his first find. A nice quick find and the only cache we found today. Thanks freedom friday.
A quick find close to Skillogalee and Jeanneret Wineries. Thank you for the smile!
Hunting caches in the Clare region today and this one was next. I spent of bit of time hunting this one but soon had it in hand. Thanks to freedom friday for this one.
We are in Clare camping for the weekend. Not too sure we picked the best weekend for it as we had a shocker of an arvo of weather so it was a low tally day for us. But we thoroughly enjoyed it! We had a late start due to drinking far too much wine last night, but after the crappiest of weeks at work it was needed. So we only found 15 caches for the day but it was was definitely a quality over quantity day. We found some really memorable caches and had a super walk at Spring Gully. We also managed to fit in a trip to Pikes brewery which we loved and ended up with a box of long necks to bring home. We finished off the day with a superb curry at Indii which is in our opinion the best curry house in SA, love it yummy yummy food.
After our trip to Spring Gully we headed here to find this one, took TB. We then headed to Skilly and had our lunch in the car park, with a magic view. Next time we are in Clare we plan to come back here to try the wine and partake in some food. TFTC freedom Friday, nice hide.

Doing a few 'close to home' caches today before heading up to the event at Jamestown this evening. Passed by this way the other day but didn't stop for this one at the time. Remedied that today. As we approached the cache we heard a rattle behind us and when we looked it was a couple of kangaroos jumping the fence. tftc
Found after the Welcome Frogs to Clare event. quick find. Last cache of the day. Now a long drive back home with no more stops.
Found in a chilly winter morning. So peaceful with the birdsong Thanks for bringing us here

Staying nearby with muggle but caching aware friend muggles and cache for the day required so early morning foray up and over Skilly Hill for this cache. Had rained hard overnight so was dodging puddles etc but wasn't too bad. Arrived at GZ and GPSr was looking to send me into the property and as I was contemplating this the obvious spot was noted, cache found, log signeg and replaced just as two cars I'll of muggles came over the hill. Nice walk back to the accommodation smiling to match the smiley that would soon appear on the m.

A nice easy find, and probably a good thing, too. Atpy and I had been wine and beer tasting up at the nearby Jeanarret Winery and Clare Valley Brewing Company site for the Clare Valley Gourmet Weekend, and I was not in a good state to be finding caches. Did actually find this one, though. Thank you! Nice location
out and about with the.bakers enjoying a girls caching weekend without husbands and kids. This was spotted a mile away by it's bright red lid. We retrieved the cache, SL and added some swaps for future visitors. When we returned it to it's hidey hole we added a bit of extra camo....
And the girls are off! Myself and my bestie Sharyn (family4p) are off on a girls weekend away to the Clare Valley for some geocaching, no husbands and no kids!! Woo Hoo!!
Second day out caching in this beautiful area and today we decided to go more inland and see more of the natural bushland! It is stunning! This cache was easy to spot with its red lid poking out from where its hidey hole was. Log book was signed and some swag was dropped off and cache was replaced and recovered. Now less obvious! Thankyou for the hide.
