found cache out in the open with game rules left outside. Not sure if it had been found by a muggle or not, but not alot of swaps inside a large cache. replaced it and covered it well! tftc
16:25 Found on our Touring Tassie and Beyond 2009 Trip!
Some people are just always right, and they love to remind you of it. Some people just shouldn't navigate either, as that gives them the chance to prove that the other is always right.
We got there in the end, and made an easy find, on a well covered up cache. Zak power had been there before us, and seem to have removed all of the issues, so it was just left to us to sign the log, re-hide the cache, and for M to chase after the car as A had decided to take off without him sod

A nice spot to have a quick look around. The cache was in plain view from both walking tracks. It has been muggled on several occasions with very coarse language and obscene pictures that GeoKids should definitely not see. Those pages have been carefully removed from the log. (without any damage to legitimate logs). If someone could paint the cache black would help and also a relocation should be considered.
Zak Power Team had muggle cousins along for the ride.

Great container, easy find, there was an echidna near the cache but it soon moved on. Sad to see the lake so low
Thanks for the cache.

Yay! We finally took the correct approach to a cache the first time. After having a trip filled with cases of wrong side of the river, road, building etc, it was like a breath of fresh air to finally get one right on the first go. And to find a great view with a fantastic container as well, it made our day.
TNLNSL TFTC, find #528 for Echo & Spice.

Hehe, sounds like we took the sandy track first like a previous successfull cachor. We decided to stop in town for a quick bite before heading up the 'easier' bitumen track to find this one (not as much fun as the sand track). An extremely busy Easter Monday in Meningie! Took the torch keyring and left a Hawaiian keyring. TFTC and the outstanding view of the depleated Lake Albert.
The Nuvi took me via the dead centre of town, and with a 300+ metre ascent through thick sand, I pulled the pin fairly quickly. Then we found a much easier way in. Boy, things are dry around here at the moment. 4th for today found at 1200 hrs.

Every time I went to visit my son in Victor this cache showed up as my nearest unfound Very annoying when I knew it was an hour & a half drive to get it.
Well today I finally ticked it off the list!
Nice views even with the tide out a little [^]
Cheers, TFTC.

On way to Robe for the long weekend. Have stayed overnight here before. Nice quiet spot. We left a new pen.
Quick detour on our way to Mt. Gambier. Found it not difficult with parking directly nearby

Finally getting around to logging these finds after a 2 week road trip (over 100 caches to log [XX(] )
Was a little bit concerned driving up to the lookout as we were pulling the geocaravan behind us and hoped we could turn it around at the top.
No problems though and also with the cache.

The 3 star terrain rating has put me off in the past, thinking that it was going to require a significant walk. But it's really easy, not much more than a drive by, and great views from the top! Seems that muggles have found the cache on more than one occasion.

Find 47 on our 2008 Xmas caching trip to Victoria
Despite the terrain, we managed to get it the easy way, it was quite exposed, so we tried to cover it a bit to keep the muggles away.

On the way back home before I got to Meningie I was falling asleep at the wheel so I needed something to wake me up. A quick coffee and a brisk walk in soft sand up to get this cache did the trick. Cheers. MODU.
Nice view from here. Found easily.

of all the times we have passed though or stayed here this is the first time we have been to the lookout. we were amazed at the view. had to fight off bees for the second time today.thanks.
Lunch by the lake with Kooradina and then made this find. Cache wasn't in its hidey hole. It had been found by rather inebriated muggles who had written in the log (rather rudely), apparently not taken anything and then just thrown the cache a little distance from its home. All is now well. tftc
Second find for the day. We bought tasty treats from the bakery and proceeded to the lookout. Unfortunately we tried to come at it from the wrong way and ended up on a motorbike track in my 4wd. We decided to try and find another way in. First snake spotting for the weekend also. Found it with ease.
Thanks!
Thanks!
I must have picked the wrong track as I was only able to drive within 105 metres of the cache.
Still it was an iinteresting experience turning around.
Went looking for the cache. Pity I had forgotten the batteries were running low.
15 metres from the cache the GPSr died.
Hows that for luck. It got even better because the log zip bag was lying on the ground next to the hidden cache. Didnt even have to search.
The mist was heavy so I am not sure if you get a view from here,

Cold day with a few showers, need a lot more than this to fill this lake again TNLN TFTC
Second find for the day by Rav 4 Raiders on a geocaching weekend in the South East. TNLNSL, and collected a couple of empties for our refund collection (a little like cache in, trash out!)

Followed what looks like a bike track and found the cache fairly quickly.
TNLN. Cache needs a pen as there is nothing to write with.
Noticed some other logs in there as well - is someone surreptiously checking on the cache and making a few logs themselves?
Thanks masyr10/11 of 2007.
Swampy (visiting on a caching run from Hobart to Adelaide and back)

Looks like the muggles have not been back. Guess they could not find this spot again??? Nice outlook from the platform.
Clear skies and thanx to masyr10/11 (now 11/12?) – TeamAstro.
The outlook was grim where we parked the car but the walk was enjoyable even a bit hot in the middle of the day.
Posspet Boys are on their way to the Coorong and Robe for a 4wd weekend with friends.
Found the cache easily as have Muggles. Removed offending pages and hid better. If they know it is here they may come back.
Cheers from the Posspet Boys

Found on the way through Meningie in above 40 degree heat (Who cache's in these conditions? ). We made a serious miscalculation of our numbers while away down the South-East with chizbeki for the past 4 days, thought this was our 999th cache but it wasn't!?! We were out by one, this was our 1000th cache find and we didn't even know it or celebrate at the time. It was too hot anyway! TNLNSL. TFTC and our 1000th, onwards to our 2000th.

Found as the temperature in our car read 45 degrees and Mr E joked about snakes slithering about (not the time to be joking!), thought this was their 999th cache, but their calculations were wrong (a bit like Mrs C's on some of the multis over the weekend), turned out to be their 1000th. Congrats Guys. TFTC
Like always caching takes you to a place you never knew about for a very impressive view. Quite spectacular. Thanks guys. Love your work.
A very nice view and a very nice town, but for the ferretters it will always be known as the place where our clutch gave out on the way to Mt Gambier! Still, we enjoyed the walk up the hill, even if ferretgirl was a little put off by the sight of a couple of eagles feeding on a rabbit!

Took a roundabout route to this one. Left a camel and took a knucklebone. What a huge amount of local work went into thsi palce!. Does the car park ever fill up?
this cache is pretty big so I'm surprised that the local dirt bikers haven't found it yet although it his hidden fairly well.TNLNSL TFTC [^]

Drove all the way from Eyre Peninsula, only to be beaten by one day!! Oh well, there will be other opportunities!!TFTC
YAHOO our first first to find. We went looking with Wannabe Nomads yesterday but after an extensive search we thought we found the spot but presumed the muggles had beaten us to it [:(!]. Sad and cold we went away camping for the night.Great night for camping too, not as cold as last trip out -3.7 (think we have rocks in our heads). As we had to leave early we thought we would give it another look and guess what, sorry Nomads
Looked & looked still could not find it.Cooard's took us to the perfect hiding spot After contacting Troopy's- our travelling companions- it seems we had the right spot, but the cache had mysteriously gone wandering...Dirty pool chaps. Well done Troopies.
