Went back to this one today with my friend who wanted to see what one looked like after searching for four without any luck, and found that it had disapeared.
We think it has been muggled.

This was a nice easy one with spot on coords.
I saw it straight away but muggles were aproaching me so i had to be cautious and wait for them to leave.

Up and racing now... dodged all the cow poo and wet to replace an old poweraide container with a small sistema (containing hammerhead shark, marble, peg, pencil & logbook).
sounds like its still find-able, albeit in a serious state of disrepair! will look to fix it soon, but if you cannot sign the log due to dampness then that's ok it's still a find.
Found on a great day of caching where I got my 1000th find...
This cache will need some attention, looks like the sheep have gotten to it... They must find the goodies people leave in it tasty..
Little lamb went running when we rocked up chasing its mum up the hill... super cute
Thanks for the cache Voogoofish

Found a container and 2 very cute sheep. Baby sheep didn't like us being there and ran up the hill away from us TFTC but it needs a new book and a lid. The sheep must have found the cache too
Greysurfer 1 found this one. The residents left the scene very quickly sorry sheepies. TFTC
Mr Tardis went on a caching drive around the Nairne area this afternoon, and this was one of the caches targeted.
Such a beautiful place, and one of the nicest country oval locations I've seen in a long time. A quick find once I got to GZ.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache voogoofish.

Out for that once every four years experience with roguewatermelon. Rain Rain and more rain limited it to half a dozen caches. The rain at leaset makes the over look good! TFTC voogoofish
Nice easy find, but the gates were shut meaning a jump of the oval fence was required. Been to this oval a number of times to watch the A Graders in footy season. Now found the cache as well.
Decided to visit this cache as I was visiting family & had not been this way since Chapmans closed down. Was a cloudless day, a few members at the Football club were probably wondering what a mysterious woman in a blue dress in the middle of the day was doing wondering around the football oval, but no-one bothered me & found the cache in a neat crop of rocks, great spot. Took Lanyard and put in a squashsa band.Cheers voogoofish.
Ho Ho Ho, found it nice and early, think I wrote wrong time in Log, car clock still on Mexican time, Nice spot, had not been round there before. Some chappy camping in his car at oval would have wondered why a fat bloke was waddling about so early. ANyway, TFTC, TNLN, SL
We were muggled out of this one a couple of weeks ago when a cricket match was on. Returning today we made a quick and easy find after a short stroll. TFTC
Great spot tucked out the way. Got this one just before a cricketer rocked up to hit some balls!

quick find on the way home from work. a few muggles playing tennis may have seen me as i scared of a bunch of cows.at first i thought i was going to get attacked, but was all good in the end tftc.
Enjoy.....

Was visiting a friend who lives near by and grabbed a footy and suggested we take the boys for a kick of the footy on the nearby oval - huh she laughed when she realised I had an alterior motive An easy find in a lovely area. TFTC
Fun one but watch out for all the poo! Dont know what they feed the sheep but very sloopy!
We rove to within 100m of the cache and plotted our path. We had to find an alternative path quite quickly as well cam across a dead sheep which was well bloated and on the nose. Once we got near GZ, a quick find was possible. TFTC voogoofish
Knipper jr had a great time pretending he was kicking goals on the oval and then it was on to the serious cache finding business! We found, signed and returned before some locals turned up to play and the we were on our way to the next stop! TFTC
Out for a Sunday drive, this was our first cache for the day... Pity I didn't wear my boots, feet ended up rather damp after the stroll to the cache - all the recent rain has done wonders for the length of the grass!. Nice hide, and so good to visit the town I used to live in.

Off for a drive with MissyLJ and Jnr Nowhere we decided to stop off and do this one.
Jnr Nowhere was NOT keen to walk up the gravel road for some reason. After carrying her up to the cache and then back to the Geo-Ute (Mk 2) it was time for a rest
A nice easy find, signed the log and placed the cache safely back.

The find was easy but ive gone by the oval many many times trying to get the place to myself!!! Finally got it today... only me, a hundred sheep and lots of cow pats(watch your step!!!) TFTC
Finally got this one after several visits to the Country Fire Service State Training Centre in Brukunga. Everytime I go past this location there was always people. Finally after several visits it was empty.

Tucked in out of sight place, I wasn't aware where the sports field was though a frequent visitor to Nairne. A good hiding place. Recorded the clue. Tnlnsl. Tftc.
Found this one nice and easy except for the locked gate you have to climb over. Felt wrong, maybe it's open at certain times??
The beagle member of our team just loved this cache hunt. She was running around like a spring lamb. The last 40 metres took us around 150 metres to get there but we found the way. TFTC SL TNLN
After a bit of fence climbing we found the rock and the cache easily. A pretty spot.
Very crisp windy day to be heading out caching but sun is shining and we've gotta get to that magic 100 mark by the end of the day!
Nice short walk to GZ and had cache in hand shortly after.
Took Panda toy and left Navy sticker and wristband.

Took oldest geograndson on his first hunt. He had a ball, but a bit worried about all the cows.
Very boggie, but a good time.

Quite muddy near GZ, but nice rocks to sit on and sign log. We kept our eyes open for Taity, but he wasn't out practicing today. I wouldn't face him in those concrete Nairne cricket nets for any money.

Found today on my lunch break.
Didn't realise I would have to battle through a heard of cows to get this one.
Sat on nearby rock and signed with curious cows only 10M away!

The third of the HFL found.
Found easily, nice day for a wander. Still water everywhere, the cache did need a pen, which I didn't have with me at the time and was tempted to fill in the log with one of the crayons i the cache-but thought better of it. I returned to the car, and added the pen to the cache.

What an amazingly green manicured oval. It would not be out of place at the US Masters!
No one about so I crossed the turf to the cache. A lovely part of Nairne.

Needed to dodge the sprinkler, then wade across the sodden lawn. Not a soul around - probably sleeping "it" off ..........
Happy New Year and clear skies from TeamAstro. [^]
Have driven past this cache a few times but too many muggles to attempt. The place was desserted today found with no problems
Found it on the way home after the pre-christmas party at Nairne. I took TB "Fuzz Ball"
Thanks voogoofish for the cache.

We had no probs with cows but tennis coaching for the school holidays was on so moved on for a little time and got somthing to eat then came back a good find nice spot
We found our 2nd Voogoofish cache at 1:30pm as the 12th of 30 on our Mallee Melee with Cold Freeze and Bazzars. The roads in and out of here were quite odd as directed by Tom Tom. I'm sure that there was a better way. No-one here today though and a quick find at the first spot checked. Thanks for the cache from D B-A.
I wonder if the cows think it is their cache??? Left a bendy man, took nothing except a note of the hint. TFTC
Was watched by a herd of cows. They seemed very interested in what we were doing. Sure hope they don't muggle it!!!!
Another nice country oval hidden away down the back roads
A pat on the back and a pat on the boot for any cacher who doesn't look where they are treading during this search
But at GZ there was a comfy seat while I filled out the logbook
TFTC.
If I ever find where I wrote down all the clues, I might one day return to finish the season and win the grand final cache

Enjoyed look at - jnr played the football (practice)... SL. Thanks voogoofish & Thirdman for organising the cache and hunt.
This was to be the last of the country HFL series that I was to get today. (I think I have them all now). For the third time today, I was troubled by muggles who just decided to plonk themselves in the worst possible place. This time it was a council worker sitting in his truck having lunch and looking directly at GZ . Luckily I still had tea in my thermos, a sandwich to eat and some of the paper that I hadn’t read, and I was able to wait him out [^].
Once I had the place to myself, it was over in seconds. That large gum tree on the boundary would be a great place to sit and watch the footy [^]. Thanks for the day Matt, cheers

Well it is completely the wrong season for football but we were looking for an easy cache not tooo far from home. We had planned to make our 1000th cache Yahtzee but with a temperature of 41 degrees that was not a good idea. Having done most of the caches within rather a large radius from home apart from puzzles we can't solve or other difficult terrain we didn't have too many option.
Thankyou to voogoofish for providing our 1000th cache find!!!!! Our goal was to reach 1000 before the end of 2007 and we made it with 7 hours to spare. Even remembered to collect the clue in our excitement. Mr S was lamenting that he hadn't brought a beer with him to celebrate. Think he had drunk more water in the last few days than in a long time.

Sometimes my hobbies have a way of combining. I wasn't even geocaching, but I was at this oval flying my E-Flyte Mini-Pulse. The conditions were good on the deck, but up above the tree line, it was gusty, causing even the most experienced pilot (not me) some trouble. There was an experienced pilot there (just happened to meet him on the day) who was flying his advanced 3D model. (Don't worry, I'm getting to the cache!)
After some choice Immelmans and vertical spins, a piece of his plane flew off and landed about 300m downfield and now, with only ailerons and no elevator control, his plane crash landed about 30m or so outside the boundary.
As is always the case when a co-pilot crashes, you let him talk first! And no matter what, accept his reason for the crash. As he went collecting pieces, I flew my Mini-Pulse for a few more laps, now cautiously keeping the aerobatics to a minimum in order to ensure that I walked away from my landing.
After setting it down oh so gently, I noticed that my new friend was still hunting around near the crash site. I went over to investigate and offer some help. He had collected his damaged plane and the piece that flew off, but was unable to locate his landing gear! After about ten minutes of looking, he gave up, but I persisted a little longer, hoping to ease the pain of his crash. I didn't find any landing gear at the crash site, but guess what I did find? Hunting for stuff produces some interesting results.
It was only when I found this cache that I remembered that one was placed here. Thanks for an unusual find!
PS> If any future finders come across two wheels and a piece of wire, you'll know who to contact!

Lovely oval guys. Really impressive. Called in for the cache before going around the corner to our friends for a pre-christmas gathering.
Did not spot the lost wheels. Did record another clue. Still a couple short of the full pack. A couple of sheep missing in the top paddock. Might give it a try as I have my suspicions.
