I shouldn’t worry about snakes as the black cat scared me running out of the bush…Put a decent replacement log in it to keep it alive. The hint helped too!
Short drive out of Broome to pick up a smiley. Disturbed a black cat but no wasps or butterflies. TFTC
Lots of butterflies, no bees. Quick find. Just found a space. Needs a new logbook. Dropped a TB. TFTC cyclonic

Today our tour - which began in Perth, WA , and led us thru Western, Northern and Southern Australia back to Perth, was simply driving from Broome to Fitzroy Crossing.
On the way we came to some interesting locations. Here we searched, found and logged this Tradi-Cache.
Weather was good in the morning and it should even get better during the day.
Thanks to 'cyclonic' for showing us this location, for the fun we had with 'Without A Paddle' and the smiley. The search here and today didn't take too much time, fortunately.
Greetings from Germany and we hope to see you soon in the forest, prairie, desert or outback .

On my towards Broome after tackling the GRR and it was nice to be on the black top for a change.
The creek was dry so was able to cross with ease and after turning over a couple of rocks I soon added my name to the log.
A note to one self don’t do it in thongs.
Thanks cyclonic TFTC.

Flew into Broome lunch time sunday then drove to RAAF Base Curtin for work with contractors and stayed in Derby overnight. The contractors got their work finished early and we left just after lunch and i stopped by here on the way home for a very quick find. Drove in here very early on the monday morning but about 50 caravans in here i drove out again. Only 5 here when i stopped here so was a quick park and grab right by the cache. Found the cache still in good condition. Thanks for the cache and for bringing me here cyclonic.
On the way to Derby and the Gibb River Road we found this Cache.

This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 9840. We found this as part of our 2018 Round Australia trip.
Pulled over as we headed south today and I wandered down. This took me a while to locate but got there in the end. I came back to half the water run out of our tanks because I parked on an angle.
Thanks cyclonic for the cache.

A nice quick find on our travels home after an amazing 5 week adventure in the Kimberly. TFTC
We are travelling for all of 2018 and have come up the centre
from Geelong, Victoria. We
initially thought we’d do all of
Australia but there’s to much to see. We will spend 6 months in WA. On our way to Broome after an amazing week in derby

A quick find for us while on the road to Broome.
It's a nice quiet little spot down under the bridge.
We'd love to see the area with a bit of water in it, wouldn't it be a different contrast?

We had driven all the way out here to get the cache and then remembered we didn't have a pen with us. Oh well, hopefully there's one in the cache. No such luck, so hubby improvised with a piece of rusty wire and spit! 19 for July 19th and sq for Squalid before he dropped the wire between the rocks. Darn. Have a photo of our 'signature' if you need it. It took us a while to find the cache and there were butterflies underneath, no wasps. Also picked up a tag, yay! Thanks for the hide.
Nice hide! Took us longer than it should have to make the find, GPS all over the place but finally aha! TFTC
Took way longer than should have with 4 sets of caching eyes GPS was dancing all over the place On way to Broome with Juju54 TFTC
Almost to my cousin's place in Broome now after attending the Red Centre Experience in Alice Springs. Pa had to pull up quickly to park so that we could clamber down to grab this cache. He beat me to it and I soon had CIH log stamped PT dropped and all returned to its hidey hole. TFTC

Day 27 on my trip from Perth to the Red Centre Experience in Alice Springs with m4yb and Max the GeoUte pulling Jonathan Swift the Jaycp camper trailer.
What an adventure it has been and great to get some caches along the route.
Spent the night just 107 Kms from Broome and made this the first one for the day. We must be agile as I found without issue. Rocks not TOO heavy. She left a path tag and I signed log.

Found after a quick scramble. The riverbed is still a shallow stream, but sandy rather than muddy and easy to cross. Took TB.
Took a drive out from Broome today for this one. Went to wrong side of bridge at first then crossed the road to check the other sde for a quick find. Cache in good condition. TNSL dropped TB.
Found it on our great Australian adventure. We were a little dubious of the gathering of cows garding the cache, so we gingerly tiptoed through the spiky grass and hoped not to bother anyone. We managed to get back to our Motorhome safe and sound . TFTC and greetings from Switzerland.
Gee, 41 degrees now. Cooler under the bridge. Cable Beach here we come. Tftc
Took travelbug.
Another smiley added here today on a 5 week Pilbara and Kimberley break, a nice quick find on our way to our next destination TFTC
A quick find even though it was well concealed. Just enough for a break from driving, and then back to it. Thanks to cyclonic for the cache.
Must have missed this spot last year as we came past. Quick stop and after a short search cache was located. TFTC
tftc,
Today is day 32 of an adventure that will take me around Australia with a group of trackables as we now head south towards Perth. My caches visited can be tracked by checking out the Key Ring using the code TB4P4C1.
On the road south to Broome and grabbing the caches along the way. Enjoyed this one.
As a part of my contribution to helping make the "Easter 2017 Red Centre Experience" GC6825Z a great Event, I will be leaving a card in every cache that is large enough to take it. This card provides a number for a trackable so you can "Discover me". There is also the Web page address "red.ozmega.com.au".
Happy caching.

Stopped on the Broome side of the bridge, walked under, lucky the river was not flowing. Looked around and then wazza9 said here it is, I said I was standing on top of it. Signed the log and replaced, thanks to cyclonic.
Our current visit to Australia had been in the planning for over a year with the very significant help and advice from friends who live in Melbourne. The original plan was for a 2 month visit, but as things progressed we just couldn't help extending our trip to the full 90 days allowed on our visas - after all it's a big country and so much to see and do, especially with our favourite pastimes being birding, hiking and of course geocaching! Our journey started with our arrival at Perth airport followed by a day cycling around Rottnest Island before travelling on to Adelaide where we met up with our friends. We then continued on to spend some time on Kangaroo Island, before heading to Melbourne via Goolwa, Strathalbyn, Coorong, Mount Gambier, Cape Bridgewater, the Grampians National Park, Port Campbell, Cape Otway and Lorne, cramming in as much as possible on route. The second leg of our journey was a fabulous 9 days in Tasmania. Having then returned to Melbourne we set off on the third leg of our journey, which was to Sydney via Wilson’s Promontory, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Pambula Beach, Thredbo, Canberra and Fitzroy Falls. We then spent a few days in Sydney with geocaching friends before flying on to the Gold Coast for the fourth leg of our travels, that included visits to Lamington National Park, Noosa and an overnight trip out to Fraser Island. We then flew from Brisbane to Cairns, where we spent a couple of nights before heading out to the birding hotspots of Yungaburra and Daintree. Following on from a visit to Cape Tribulation we turned to Port Douglas. After a day out on the Great Barrier Reef we returned to Cairns for the flight to Alice Springs and the fifth leg of our travels, which was a wonderful week driving the circuit to and from Ayers Rock in our 4x4 camper. On returning to Alice Springs we then flew on to Darwin, where we picked up another 4x4 camper. We are currently making our way towards Broome via Kakadu, Cooinda, Pine Creek, Edith Falls, Katherine, Nitmiluk, Timber Creek, Lake Argyle, Kununurra, Emma Gorge, El Questro, the Bungle Bungle’s, Fitzroy Crossing, Geikie Gorge, Tunnel Creek, Windjana Gorge and Derby. Our last two nights in Australia will be spent in Broome before we fly back to Perth, from where we will connect with the flight all the way back home to Zimbabwe via South Africa. We already know we can't wait to return!
This was a nice quick find at Ground Zero on our way to Broome. Thanks so much for the cache!
