With no finds for over a year, on what is a relatively straight forward cache, maybe this one needs checking?

We were in this area today so stopped by to have a look around here. We searched for quite awhile but no luck.

I went out on a cache run with GrimRaider and we found ourselves at the Yarralumla Woolshed. I have never been here! We grabbed a clue for a multi we are doing and then came across to look for this cache. No luck today. Thanks anyway
Out this afternoon to finish the HMAS power trail (find all the mystery caches). I parked at Yarralumla Wool Shed and walked in from there. A nice little walk in through the horse paddocks onto the trails and over the river crossing.
I had a look for this cache without luck before I headed out to find the HMAS caches. I then had another look when I got back. I also note that this one has not been found since April. I had a detailed look at where I think it might be but there has been some work done to prevent access so that may be preventing finding the cache if it if where I think it is. Anyway, I will watch this cache and see if there are any new finders. TFTC

Found 8:22 pm. Went out with the geodaughter with her driving on her Learners. This cache became a target rather than preplanned as taking her through a different area. As we approached realised there was a gate but it didn't seem to indicate we couldn't go past so I opened the gate and she drove on through with me closing the gate behind us. Arriving near GZ parked the geovehicle and headed off to GZ with the trusty geo torch. Interesting aromas around here and the structure interesting as well it seems livestock were kept underneath the building. I started to search around GZ eventually getting to look around where the cache was found. But we first uncovered a couple of other items such as cutlery and junk. The cache though was soon in hand and I signed the log and replaced it as found. Thanks for the cache and showing us this spot.
I was not sure if it is allowed to pass behind the closed gate, but if tge cache is here it shall be.
Interesting building for sure. Noine around

This afternoon, my grandad and I found the 2 caches around here to get my finds up to #899. We walked over to this cache from the previous one.
Once again, we felt like we were trespassing the horse paddocks. But the horse trainers (is that what you call them?) didn't mind! They seemed to be walking around and mapping out the course. It also seemed that there was a big event on - there was caravans and campervans spread out all over the property!
We soon arrived at GZ and started searching. We were on the wrong side of the building first, but once my GPSr settled we arrived at the real GZ. My grandad found the cache fairly quickly - great hide!
Our thanks to FLIPPER&CO!

Grateful for long arms on this one. Nice addition to a good day with family at the eventing. Tftc
Very puzzled about how to get the cache but I did get it along with scruffyblake, me_to and the S's.TFTC
GPS had us a bit all over the place but a quick look at the map but us in the right direction. Found on the ground so retrieval was not easy. Signed the log and grabbed some path tags. Replaced where we thought it should be. TFTC Found with scruffyblake, Charli_Bear and Me_To
Yeah. After a didn't find at the last art market we have a find. Geokids 2 and 3 excited as last time we tried to find it was drizzling and today's weather was sunny and dry. Seemed to be in the wrong place - sitting on a rock on the ground for all muggles to see. Hopefully I have put an acceptable place at GZ but now a little bit out of muggle view.
Few strange looks from the delivery man whilst retrieving the cache. It was a bit wet and half on ground, I fixed it.
Found this one with Rapidlywild during another one of our evening geomissions gallivanting around south Canberra. It had been a little while since our last one so I was looking forward to another evening of fun and frivolity! [:O)]
RW had found this on the day before so we decided to swing by this one so I could make the collect on it as well. I've been meaning to nab this one for aaaaages as I drive right past the place on my way to work. Initially I was a bit put off by the gate. But shouldn't have worried-it's public access [^]
So after parking up the car nice and close, it was just a short stroll before the cache was quickly in hand Great to finally be able to see the old woolshed!
Thanks for the hide, FLIPPER&CO

Well, today is a VERY warm day, so what do I decide to do? Go get some caches ofc. I must be crazy.......
Anywho, I have been meaning to get this one for a while but not knowing the rules of the gate, I always kept avoiding it. Today after talking to a few fellow cachers, I was advised we are fine to enter the gate, so in I went.
On arrival, parked up and wandered over to make the find. Didn't take long at all
Took a PT of the 2 types in there, left the FurfacesLL PT's as I already have them. Thanks for sharing your PT's FLIPPER&CO Its not often we make collections in the wild.
Signed log and returned cache to hiding location. Thanks for bringing me to this location FLIPPER&CO

#1486 - 16:50; Continuing a quiet start to February, decided to grab this one and another close by on the run home from the markets while I had the geohoney in the car to do the honours with the gate! Made it to GZ easily and located a freshly replaced cache in the appropriate position. TFTC FLIPPER&CO
Sending over new cache container, will update when in place.

Spent some time yesterday and today looking as geomum had a stall at the art market. With all the other did not finds suspect archiving till checked or replaced is in order.
We have dispatched our cache minder to check this one out, will keep the page updated.
Sometims a DNF does not mean a request for archiving.

I had noticed that there had been a couple of DNFs but thought I would give it a try anyway.
I spent about 20 minutes checking all the locations I could think of but with no success. Maybe next time.

Bummer I could not find this one... bizarre... there was a champagne flute intact, lots of rocks and broken bottles, and the lovely smell of shearing shed, but no naughty cache......
dumb of me to go out in the heat dumb dumb dumb. but a very nice view at least, and i dont have to worry about exercising for the rest of the week
This is the first time we have had a gate to open and drive through to find a cache. There was an equestrian event on today with so many people and horses about. But they were not over near GZ, so we were able to make a fairly quick find. We took the Rabbit Ears TB and dropped off the Square Pants TB and signed the log. TFTC
Log is pretty damp, although it was able to be signed fairly easily. Would suggest that, if possible, the CO perform a little maintenance.
Nice walk to ground zero from Cotter Road. The walks are one of the things we really like about the hobby.

It was easy midweek to seach for this; no-one else was about. I remember attending a dance many years ago in the woolshed. The log is a little damp. TFTC.
Kids did this one; it took a little searching for them, but they got there. TFTC, it was a fun location.
We walked to GZ as the sun was slowly setting and it was a lovely walk without any muggles to be seen. Once at GZ Miss Stormcatcher quickly spotted the hide. A great area for a cache and it brings back childhood memories. Thanks Flipper&Co for the cache.
What an interesting walk. Saw a group of cockatoos eating buds from a tree with pure blue sky in the background. Cursed I hadn't brought along a good camera. Lots of squawking and cawing nature as the evening draws to a close. Great hide, TFTC.
Decided to park up near the main road and walk in (never can trust these gates, who knows when they'll be locked!). The walk was lovely in the afternoon with some wonderful skies and some cockatoos to view. The cache was in a great little hidey hole, took a minute or two to look in the right direction to spot it. TFTC.
One of the closest and longest unfound caches for me. It always seemed a bit out of the way and hard to get to, but when I read some recent logs I decided we could just try and drive in.
So this morning on the way to work with Dino we tried my theory with success. Once at GZ Dino spotted it first. He was happy with the swaps and SL. Then quickly out of there again as the urine smell was rather overwhelming this morning here. Must have been a big party and I guess no rain since. Will surly wash away this afternoon.

Fairly quiet here today (only saw 3 riders). Gate closed, so walked in - more enjoyable this way!
Nice hide. Yes, would be more "fun" with muggles around!
Thanks.

Out on a Mothers day caching run. Great old sheering shed, like some earlier logs, we too found ourselves on the wrong side of the fence, not sure if we could go where our GPS wanted us too. But found in the end. Clever clue, had us head scratching for some time. TFTC
Not a soul arround made the search easy and made for a quick find with friends. SL..TFTC
Rode my bike over from Come Ride with Me to this one. I remember going to a few functions here over the years. It still really has a sheep shed aroma to it! A nice spot for a cache. TFTC Flipper.
347. Found in between disciplines the daughter was doing at Equestrian park. Nice to get away for a couple of hours here and there. Great to have a little distraction only a couple of hundred metres from the float. TFTC.
Great day to retrieve this one, lots of muggles around as the horse trials were on. Everyone was going about their business, we were able to move freely and conduct the search locating the find fairly quickly. The music was playing in the shed was a nice touch.

After I short search I had this one signed and back in its hide. TFTC.

Saturday 7 April - a beautiful autumn day. A quick and easy find - level of difficultly should be one star. thx p2p, thx FLIPPER&CO
Sixth find I made today. Unlike the other one, the area was deserted and I could find it in peace. Didn't have a pen on me, but I left a geocoin to prove that I was there.
Another day caching in the capital, resulting in some 53 finds. Signed log: TNGD. TFTC!
A great hide, found while party-hire muggles were setting up, making stealth the key to grabbing this cache. Love the smells and history. TFTC
Almost missed it, as arriving at the hide coincided with a faceful of cobwebs, so I was momentarily distracted and in retreat, then a quick circle had the cache in hand @ 1750. TNLNSL-TFTC.

Couldnt sign the book, but found all the same. Had to leave as some muggles turned up. TNLN.
Found this cache at 3pm while in Canberra for the weekend attending a Rotary Conference and Mrs Bushie doing some caching to fill in her time. This was a very interesting place. Would have liked to see inside. We have come across many hugh and very old shearing sheds in the outback of Australia. When inside you can usually get the feeling and the sound of how things might have been many years ago.

I was passing by and just dropped in "in case". Knew about where it was and didnt bother with GPSr and what do you know, a lucky find. Thanks. Now time to get home out of the rain and cold.
Used the hint and came up with the goods quick enough! Thanks

No muggles about so this was a quick pick-up. Nice place with great views. Thanks for the hunt/hide.
Kind of got busted by muggles.
I was sitting on the stairs, having a slight looksie (also looking at how bad my knee was after i kind of killed it this morning, whoops) and this muggle came out, and was like "Uh, what are you doing"
"looking for termites" came an answer from down below
"But, it's a saturday!"
"...Yeah!"
So yeah, no, we are not crashing the wedding or whatever they were planning!
Twas a fun adventure!

What the? A flipper cache in Canberra?! I thought we did almost half the series in Adelaide earlier this year!
We found ourselves on the wrong side of the fence, trying to figure out what was private property and what wasn't. In the end we walked around, and used the hint to find this cache. Easy enough when you are in the right place!

A nice quick walk and find with P from PUddle GAng and CO. Amazing that how long the lanolin smell lasts. TFTC
My second 'Come ... with me' cache this morning. The weather really doesn't get any better than this. TFTC
First cache of the day. Was just about to give up when the cache was spotted, right where we looked before! Found with bayleaf and cintim. TFTC
Easy to find it when you replace the cache. Its the same colour as one of my file server racks - stealth black. TFTC!
Gave this one a good 30 minute search high and low today and could not come up with the goods. Will ask FLIPPER&CO for confirmation I was looking in the right spot.
This cache brought back some fond - and not so fond - memories of childhood. There is nothing like the smell of a shearing shed in action, and even though this shed has long since been empty that smell still lingers. A simple find, TFTC.
1:39 PM
Found this one without too many troubles. At least I didn't have as many troubles as the people who had parked their horse float inside the gate only to come back from their ride and realise that the gate was now locked. I tried to help out by making a few phone calls but wasn't having much luck. Ended up leaving their number with Canberra Connect as they were trying to track down a number to help them out. I guess they won't park there next time.

Well, the clue really only made sense after I found the cache! Found the box open - possibly an attempt to let it dry gone bad with yesterday rain. Closed the box and left long pen, which does not fit in, on the top. TNLN and attempted to sign very wet logbook. TFTC - now I know where to go horse riding in Canberra.
Found quickly.
The logbook is damp but still useable.
TNLNSL, thanks!

The name sounded like a Flipper&Co cache and what do you know it was. After finding plenty of theirs in South Australia this was a nice spot for one in the ACT.
After a short search the cache was in hand and the building was quite impressive to have a look at.
A bit of water in the cache which was tipped out- might need a little dry out. TFTC!

Wasn't sure - building had 'Private Property' painted on it. Lovely smell of freshly cut grass. T4TC, M@
Was wondering whether we were on private land doing this cache, we tried carefully to avoid the gardener cut the grass around the shed. Cheers Gav [5141]
First of a couple of caches to keep my streak going. I was actually parking on my way to "Come ride with me" when I noticed another cache only 100 metres away. So I trotted over and made the find easily. Took a lovely new GC and pathtag. Content a bit damp, including the log inside the bag, but still largely OK and easy to write on.

It was very easy to find. The clue really helped (bit smelly though). Took dice, exchange for another dice. Thanks.
Ok, some fancy footwork required to get me to the position of joint 400 find next Sunday, I have been dragging the chain a bit but I do have the week off. The caching gods help me find this one - i.e. I head butted the hiding spot. Nice aromas !
