This is a strange place for a cache - it's full of rubbish and not conducive to searching, nor did it make a pleasant experience.
We had 4 sets of eyes looking at all the places that matched the clue but after 15mins we gave up and moved on.

It is now obvious the original hiding place is never going to be conducive to a geo hide again and this temporary spot, although an historical example of Bendigos mining heritage is proving impossible to keep tidy due to being a hangout for youth of today and also too difficult to find, so time has come to put it to rest!
Easy find. First to sign the new log. Great little hide. Signed and replaced. TNLN TFTC.
OK to be found again but it now looks as if this new GZ will be more permanent than originally intended as the old spot has disappeared altogether!

At last the developers have moved in!
The entire area around GZ has been bulldozed and how our niche escaped oblivion is a miracle, to say the least.
We will sit back and watch proceedings for a while before archiving.
It may be possible to relocate nearby!

After an early start today we drove from Albury to Bendigo managed a few caches along the way and then once again when we got to Bendigo. We only meant to do a few in town but the caches were so invitingly close and town was so quiet today we just kept going. We have had a great start to our geocaching around here and this was one we enjoyed finding.
Nice work with the cache thanks to Romax.

Cheers for the cache. 3rd find today as I'm up here from melbourne visiting my cousin frosty chops. Hope to get my 300th find while I'm here. Found with the use of a trusty searching stick lol. Tnlnsl
Hubby found this one. Silly me wasn't wearing appropriate shoes. Still, he is better at trolling than me..haha. We nearly gave up on finding the spot, and their were lots of muggles in the carpark close by. Perserverence won out. TFTF
Second find while in bendigo today.
A pretty easy find on what is a cold, wet and dreary day.
Cheers gordo

Find No. 106. Found with FUF009 at 3.59pm
Decided to go to Bendigo for the day and have a look around, shopping etc. FUF009 came with us and of course in went all the caching gear.
Finished what we had to do so off caching we went. First one found was by Romax. At last we have finally done one of your caches. Took a bit of hunting but finally located it.
Took small sheep. Left Rhino. TFTC

All's well with this one. The clue helped speed things up. An interesting spot... tftc.

Found this one after a short search. I got to GZ the hard way (the most direct way via the path which was blocked by lots of branches), but discovered there was a much easier route which my wife took even though it was slightly longer. TFTC!
A trip to Bendigo to visit relatives would not be complete without a Romax cache thrown in. This was a quick find at 9.45am as we drove between rellies homes. Left: a lamb (to keep the grass down!) Took: dice. #1287 TFTC and another good hide Romax
Persistence and some degree of searching skill (which we lack) led to a find in the end.
The Coffee's picked this one up today.
Thanks for the cache Romax

Found in the company of the Walenators after Tigersden's dinner event. A quick dash was made in the dark, TFTC
Today was a big day with 57 finds in the Bendigo area with Honeysucker including an event to celebrate Tigersden's 250 hides. Finished up the day with some night caching in the CBD. Tommorow is the 4WD event to the east of Bendigo.
Quick find and sign. TFTC.

Had a nice walk into this cache in the dark. Luckily we had good torches. Cache was quickly found once we had reached the GZ. TFTC
As we walked towards GZ we cringed at what we saw. However as we got closer we realsied that the cache was beyond one of our dislakes for caching hides. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and its contents were in good condition. TFTC Romax.
A great spot. Could be boggy in the wet. Of course thats no concern to geokids who went after the cache with great gusto. Thanks for the adventure.
Nice spot which has the development signs closing in but there are plenty of things in sight which will enable it's survival.
Again with Kathieb what a way to enjoy the company of loved ones

# 159 - A surprisingly nice quick Romax hide - refreshing since we spent most of the rest of the afternoon on some other Romax multis with no luck!! TFTC Romax
Found it No. 4811 ... you would not know this was here ... took TB and left Chinese Coins ... TFTC Romax
Lunch stop on the way from OZ Mega in Albury to Ballarat - and some caching!! Quick find today. Salamat!

Found on our two week expedition to the Oz Mega In Albury. SL TNLN TFTC. Hubby went in as I was too pooped. he scored for the team and was quite proud of it too.
After searching a few possible hiding spots, Tue cache was in hand. Dropped TB. Tftc
Found whilst in town for the Flash Mob event. Previous finder bogonghazy was with me, but he elected to go slow in the heat of the day and leave me to it. Had the cache in hand quite quickly (thank goodness as I think the temp was around 37 degrees whilst here), was just returning it to its hiding spot, when he appeared to see if I needed a hint. Many Thanks Romax, had the opportunity to bowl over a few more of your caches this weekend. And was lovely to catch up with you both at the FM.
Third Romax for the day. Another very clever hide and location. There was a lot of cars in the nearby carpark tonight. So looked around very cautiously and when nobody was around, quickly shot around and picked up the cache. TNLN. SL. Thanks Romax.

Drove past last night but with no torches and batteries about to run out on the phone we decided to skip it. Did another try today and found it quite quickly. Tftc.
Found on day 1 of our great Vic & SA trip with Fred6603.
1st stop for the night and a nice quiet spot with a quick find.
Great to find a Romax cache really quick for a change.
TNLNSL TFTC Romax,

15/01/12 4:39 PM Find #743 Today was another hot day in Bendigo although I suspect that this is fairly normal for the locals. We decided to make a small road trip today just to hang out with our new son in Rosalind Park with a picnic and a short nap for me. We managed to grab a few caches on the way home to Melbourne and this was my first. The path to the cache was easy to follow with a few lizards and bugs along the way. I dropped off The Travelling Kombi TB which wanted to visit Bendigo on its own Australian road trip. Thanks for the well hidden cache.
Not at all sure what this is.Luckily I spotted it before searching far and wide. TFTC Romax
Quick find after a bit of a walk. An interesting bridge to nowhere... The GeoKid made the quick find. TNLN TFTC!
Found on hot new year's eve. Left travel unicorn brought by Santa Claus. Good hide for Miss Eight to find.
A quick find while waiting for the sun to go down so we could check out the Xmas lights around town! TFTC
Should have worn better clothing to find this one - not exactly a wheelchair-friendly location! TNLN, thank you.
Oh... the Bendigo Brigade Coin that is supposed to be in this cache wasn't there. Maybe someone hasn't logged finding it, but it appears to be gone.

FOund on the way home from the parents. Overlooked at first so took about 15min to find, spotted eventually from another angle. TNLNSL
Had lots of fun finding this cache with Laura_Emily11. We were trollin' for a while until we finally came across the container. Very clever hide TFTC
Yes, we all looked at GZ. It was overlooked. When you don't find it in the first place you look, you look elsewhere. That can be dangerous. Clear skies for this nice Xpuzzle.
Took a while to find. It was in the first place we looked but we did not look had enough. Some time later the cache was discovered.
Found this @ 1115 Hrs with Geo son whilst visiting Bendigo for daughters 18th Birthday!
2nd find with Geo son! Nice hide.

Found with Big Matt and Shell, steeba and The Rats during a quick 4 day bash down to Victoria.
After a short search we had this one in hand. This certainly seems like a path to nowhere.
TNLN and thanks Romax for the cache.

Out for a caching road trip through parts of Victoria with FarmerFrenzten, Steeba and Big Matt & Shell. This was one of the many caches we found.
It was interesting to read that this one use to be a puzzle, today it was a path to nowhere with an inquisitive woman at her window.
Thanks

Found with Big Matt and Shell, Farmer Frentzen and The Rats on our 'victrip2011'.
An interesting spot- you could almost call it the path to nowhere! After getting under and then around the cache was spotted. Grabbed the coin. TFTC!

Our 5335th overall find.
Found with FarmerFrentzen, steeba and The Rats on our Victoria Invasion trip. I'd call this one abandoned path. It took a bit to turn up the cache but it was found eventually.
Thanks to Romax for the cache.

10/07/2011 16:09 Found: #552 6of6 A near mutiny in the car now as both AAA and Caching Wizard were ready to resign their caching licenses and scream they had been kidnapped so I had to do this one alone. The kids sulked whilst I went for a thankfully simple 'atypical' Romax cache. Romax are legend in caching circles so this was a relief as it was so quick. I too was a troll for about 5 minutes and this fellow gave himself up readily. Again a quiet GZ of little interest and thankfully NO muggles !!!! TNLN Romax TFTC SL
I wonder how tough the original puzzle was, considering how confusing most Romax puzzles appear, I'm happy this is just a traditional. Not much to see at GZ, you do however get the chance to imitate a grumpy troll while searching for the cache.
2nd visit to this one.
We are getting better at using our instincts better
than totally trusting our GPS. Took key, left turtle.

Bendigo Brigade Coin is back in town, can continue on with its original mission, and this is as good as anywhere to start!
Found on a wet Bendigo day. Easy find - just where you would expect. Is this classic Romax ?? TFTC. TNLN.
