Also had a good look around but no luck. Nice overnight camp spot before our time in Exmouth
If it was in that partly buried metal can, the cache is no longer there. Only scattered stones. Sorry. DNF!
After a couple of nights at Karijini stop Ped here for an overnighter enroute to Bullara and coral Bay. Coords spot on, even a nice seat to rest. Tftc
Thanks for the find. A nice little stop on our trip north and a great start to the Pilbara.
Stopped here for the night. Really nice spot. Found it alright. There was quite a bit of stuff to trade which was cool. TFTC!
Day 23 of the long road trip from Perth to the Townsville Mega via the southern states and then back to Perth again via the northern part of Australia.
Today was basically from South Hedland along the main highway and up to Exmouth.
This cache found without problems. The log was signed and the cache returned as it was found.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for cachers to find.

A quick stop on our way north no water in the river found quickly all in good condition TFTC
Found with kiwinic on our annual northern holiday, a quick stop off to find this cache. TFTC
Had to wait for some muggles to leave to grab it. And before someone else set up camp beside it. This is a popular camping spot apparently. All good with cache.
GPS was a little bouncy but soon settled enough to claim the smiley
Thanks WanAus
Thanks WanAus
A very easy find, we pulled up very close for lunch. On our way to Exmouth
Great spot TFTC
Great spot TFTC
On the way to Carnarvon and popped in to pick up a quick Park n grab. It's difficult with a big caravan but this was easy to park nearby. Lots of muggles camping in the area.
We stopped here before, only started geocaching on the way back, never knew anything was here. It is a good rest stop. Toilet door will slap you on the ass if you dont watch out behind you. Thank you WanderingAUS for the geocache.
Continuing our travels north in better weather grabbing caches along the way. TFTC ️
Driving north we entered the Pilbara Region and stopped off here for a leg stretch and the cache. Dropped a TB off. All good with the cache, log signed and replaced as found. Thanks WanderingAus for this one. Fav for the lovely area.
Bit more of a trek than I expected, lol, but I got there! Could have probably parked closer, but hey...helped me get my daily steps in on a travel day where I probably wouldn't have otherwise.
TFTC!

Oops, forgot to log this one on our trip to Karratha, quick find here, TFTC WanderingAus!
sorry for the late log, missed this one for some reason. On our way north with Team Barritts, tftc
Heading home with axell33 in a slow hurry after an extended visit to Marble Bar due to a bit too much rain and flooded 'in'. We are making our way down the coast grabbing caches which give us the opportunity to walk and stretch and change drivers. It was the middle of the night when we got this one and the stars were incredible. It is a pretty big area to pull up and there weren't many people here. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Baldivis.
Caching our way through the night as we head south. We parked up the car and walked the last couple of hundred metres to gz in the dark. Once there we made a nice quick find and soon had our names added to your log book. We returned your cache back to to where it hides. Seeing its now after midnight this one officially becomes our first one for the day. TFTC WanderingAus.
I love this place. I first visited here in 1968 on a car trip with the family. It was a working roadhouse then and we had a tyre mended here. Later in the trip when we had need for that tyre it was duly found to have a huge pair of pliers left inside the tyre from when it had been repaired. The pliers shredded the tyre and it had to be replaced. When we got home, dad wrote to Barridale and told them the story. They posted a cheque for the cost of the tyre and dad posted back the pliers. That’s how things happened back then. Thanks for the cache and the memories.
A slight detour of 80kms on the way home because I like wanaus caches & this one does give us another LGA. TFTC WanderingAus
Replaced with 155mm x 70mm round drab camo'd screen top with Finders Cards, log, pencils, sharpener, pen, and swaps.
Big large and busy camp area here. We were lucky no-one had camped too close to GZ (or had moved off before we had arrived. Nice new cache container thanks to Morro the geo. TFTC
Very good and obvious GZ. I had a good dig and feel up and under. Muggled!! I dropped a small sistema to keep the cache alive.

Only a metal bin and broken fence dug inside the bin only two other broken bin in the area
No luck. The previous comment about it being not magnetic anymore led me to check the most logical spot given the coordinates but no dice. Checking litter etc. (based on another comment) in the immediate area didn't yield anything either... Oh well, gotta keep moving.
GPS was jumping around a bit. Kept going from 3m-16m, so couldn’t quite pinpoint the right spot. Had a hunt around but without accurate gps reading, it was hard to know where to look! Got hot after awhile and had to quit!!
After a couple of nights at Onslow we are heading south again. Stopped here for an overnighter - big area but busy spot. One caravan close to gz but luckily facing the other way. Thank you for placing this cache.
It has taken me 8 years to get back and claim a find on this one. River is flowing well after recent rain, and cattle were wandering all over gz area. I noticed with my previous dnf, that gz location has changed, there were also a few more dnf's after mine back in May 2012. TFTC
On our long trip from Exmouh to Karratha it's good to have more than one reason to stop for a break. Quick find.
TFTC and greetings from Austria

Haha took me a few minutes but found it on the way back from a job in Nanutarra
Auf dem Weg nach Norden schnell gesucht und gefunden

Travelling back to Perth from Karratha tonight. Being homeward bound I had no time restraints so I stopped in here and got this little fella. I stopped here for the night, it’s a very quiet spot this evening. TFTC
After 4000 km we arrived in the snorkeling paradise Exmouth and the NP Cape Range. Of course there were some caches along the way, a good reason to take a short break.
Thanks a lot to the owners.
*Herefahre, ufstelle... Apéöli... sunset... bi Mondschiin hinder em Van go düschele...

We have found the cache! 1 metre away from GPS coordinates and not painted black though.
Thanks WanderingAus for the hide. I visited this rest stop about 6 years ago, busting to go...only juuust made it...not. I had to change pants behind that stone wall
WA really does rest area camps well. We stayed the night and wandered over to GZ before leaving. Cache was found safe and dry. TFTC
This was our first stop for the day after leaving Exmouth this morning. What a huge area for a stop over, but only a couple of vans there today. Thanks WanAus it was well worth the stop.

The trip through the North West of Western Australia continues. Seeing fantastic sights, brilliant views and many wonders. But also managing to grab a cache or two along the way.
Thanks to all the CO for placing the caches.

Heading to Exmouth we would make a stop at this big rest area. After a walk this cache was very easy to find and still in good shape.
We thought this cache could get muggled, but the glass lying around might prevent that

Even at midday this looked like a mini city of campers and caravans. Glad we didn’t stop by later in the day or it would have been difficult to retrieve. Container is still there, blending in like a bit of litter in its nest. Thanks WanAus
Easy find. Could not fit our trackable in it so will have to wait for another one.
Called in for lunch on our way south. Decided to stay the night and take a break. Yea a cache to find. Quick find, not to many mugglers close by. Thanks for the hide
So many muggles... I felt like I was doing something wrong sneaking around the area! A common feeling when caching though

Found - had no signal there so posting this now at Newman. Cache had been left in the open so put some more rocks on it.
Touring from Tasmania and stopped here for lunch. Great spot and found your cache to. Tftc
