Quite the frigid walk to GZ and the cache this morning, but such lovely scenery as the cold winter months turn into warm spring days. The quick find meant that my hands didn't freeze off.TFTC!
Went for a walk around the Flinders Uni area - some excellent trails here which we will return to when the geopups need another walk.
The coords were accurate here and the cache was found in a likely spot, nicely hidden. Was good to find this after 14months of unlove.
Good to see entries in the logbook dating back to 2007 - shows this is a well concealed hiding spot. Thanks for taking us to another pretty part of Adelaide MasterDarko!

If I were a different kind of person I might say that the stars were on my side tonight, like this cache was meant to happen for me. My partner is starting University so I guided him to his 7PM class and decided to hang around. Since it's 22/2/22 I wanted to snag the souvenir. There was only one cache left on campus that I hadn't gotten in all my years here; this one. So I sat on the grass with my new field notes notebook I happened to have on me and gave it a shot. Managed to crack it on my 6th permutation, thanks to a bit of linguistic knowledge. The sun was just going down and the the most intense golden light I've seen in a while drenched campus. I located the cache on the map and was a bit shocked as it wasn't quite what I'd hoped for as "nearby"! Funnily enough, where it was located is somewhere else I'd never been in my years here, but always meant to. Now was my chance, just right as the sun dipped and it got cold and windy, wearing shorts and Birkenstocks.... But I did it anyway and found it right as the light disappeared, with the aid of my phone torch. This is only the second mystery I've ever tried, the first being yesterday on Kangaroo Island and I failed to actually find the cache once solved, so this is a first in many ways. Glad I gave it a shot. TFTC!

great cipher and a satisfying find after solving for the coordinates months ago - thanks!
Some reverse engineering gave us the wedge to crack open the cipher and the coordinates came easily from there. Cache located, signed and left a Pac-Man patch. TFTC !
This evening, I thought I would find a few geocaches around Flinders University, and then if time/daylight permitted, continue my walk/jog south into Sturt Gorge. As an Adelaide University student, I always forget about how scenic Flinders is, and its nearby bush and rural setting. I just wish I had brought my mountain bike through here. After a nice adventure the gorge, I concluded the evening with a few driveby caches within the vicinity. A nice sunny afternoon and balmy evening to be out and about.
Not a bad puzzle once I got the hang of it. I found this cache during a walk in the area... another cache that I had wished that I had brought my MTB. Once I arrived at GZ, I managed to find the cache reasonably quickly. The cache container was in good shape, and logbook was ok, but it just consisted of a bunch of loose papers, so a staple of binded ring could help to put these together. Thanks Master Darko for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Parked and made the walk down the trails to this one. After a short search the cache was quickly located and is all in good condition.

Found with NiciDanielle. Solved this one this morning, then realised when we started our days caching that it fulfilled our 3 we needed for the A-Z 0-9 challenge mystery. TFTC and the puzzle!!
Had this one solved for awhile, today was nice and peaceful around GZ so I went for a walk in a nice area.

Solved this puzzle so that I could pick up a trackable inside for a puzzle cache I've been waiting to get my hands on. Took longer to find than it should have but a short search and soon had it in hand. A beautiful day for a walk with bokbok9

Solved this to help the martian obtain a particular tb she had been seeking. After solving it...realised i had solved it months ago. Whoops. Little search and cache was in hand. Tftc
This one has been in the solved list for a while. Thank goodness there were only 3 squares of cipher. I had a bonus visit with the geokid working nearby then off to find this hide. Dropped TB. TFTC
A rare Monday night off, and with the weather being nice and sunlight into the late evening, I decided to take advantage and grab a couple of older caches I have been eyeing off for a while...
I've had this one solved for years now. I'm pretty sure from memory I solved this and the 4 triangle version on the same day with Bek-theraccoon, because we both needed the D/T combination. Alas, this one sat unloved in my solved puzzles pile for a long time. Tonight I went for a wander in an area I visited not that long ago for my 4000th find and rectified the situation. Cache is in great condition.
This was find number 1 of 4 for the evening for me. TFTC Master Darko!

Amy and I nutted this one out quite a while ago but didn't get around to going to find it until now. In need of a walk it was a nice stroll from the office on a sunny afternoon to find the cache. Really lucky to have such a nice campus at Flinders. TFTC Master Darko!
TFTC! A nice walk from the carpark. Was muggled by a small koala looking at us from a nearby tree! Cheers
Solved a long time ago but finally got here today! Took the geokids a while to come up with the cache but we got there! We appreciated the seat. TFTC
Out with sir_spectre to grab a few. Had alot of help on this puzzle. Seeing as we were in the area we made the walk down terrain 1.5? Searching everywhere with no luck. After much digging sir_spectre throws the cache at me. Should have brought a shovel down here. Thanks
out caching with rod81w, you sure this is only a t1.5? or as usual we took the hard way. well about to give up and it was in the very last place I looked, was happy I remembered to bring gloves.
Took the geokids and muggle nephew for a walk to grab this as part of the 15 years of geocaching souvenirs. Contents nice and dry considering the rain we have had recently. Took Homer TB. TFTC.
Puzzle much easier than the find, was close to giving up, but then all was good. With AnyMules. TFTC
15 minutes of digging bark. So close to giving up. Finally snagged it. TFTC. Homer left for the next visitor.
Found It!
Solved this cipher quite some time ago now. Compared the the other two this one was dead easy! Today I finally got around to doing the walk to GZ and after a bit of a search the cache was soon found!

This puzzle was much easier and took less time to solve than retrieving the cache at GZ. As the previous finders indicated there is a lot of dumped tree detritus at the GZ and specifically at the actual cache location. Fortunately for my frustration levels after quite a bit of gardening the buried cache was eventually exposed. TNLNSL TFTC
Out with Mattycat for a day/night of caching while in the area for Mrs frog and her musical rehearsals, a cool cloudy day with impending rain was a nice time for a walk, managed to get a solution with some patience and percerverance, with some work at GZ the hide location was covered in bark chips from some tree clearing, found after some deeper searching TFTC Master Darko
Off for an afternoon of cache hunting with Mr Frog and a night run with both the Froghoppin crew.
Always makes for a good adventure.
Buried in bark chips - just like students buried in books!
Just had to keep poking all the holes until one worked out. No snakes today, one baby skink

After been given a few nudges in the right direction I was able to finally get a decent set of coordinates and today was good enough day as any to make an attempt for this, and after a bit of a walk was able to make a reasonably quick find.

The first time I looked at a Master Darko cache it was Master Bot. I found, after a few times, that typing "tell me where the bloody cache is" doesn't work with that one. So I decided that solving a few other Master Darko caches may give me some insights into the other hides of this cacher. This one seemed to fall out pretty easy, but I was waiting for the right time to visit GZ. I decided that the weekend might be better as parking around the surrounds might be easier to find. My theory was right. Took a direct approach to GZ so crossed the walking path a few times on the way down and back up. Had to wait for a couple of mountain biker muggles go past at GZ, but, after that, it was a quick find, sign and return. Thanks Master Darko!
Sorry about the generic log. I am currently logging all my outstanding finds. TFTC
Sat down with this cache puzzle earlier in the year and got it out in one evening. A very cool puzzle! Found with Alex-thesquirrel.

A puzzle that was solved in 2010 for a trip to Adelaide that wasn't found.
It was less busy here today and had the place to myself as I wandered and found the cache without too many problems. Signed and I was off!
Found while traveling around Adelaide and surrounds before heading down to Murray Bridge for the OZ MEGA event!
Thanks for the Cache! Master Darko

With the help of a non-geocaching friend we nutted this out over lunch nearly a month ago. Some choice decisions and assumptions made it much easier than the last time I tried to solve it.
Number 8 find for the month. Dismal , but my excuse is I'm busy.
Very nice walk on a very nice day.

had worked this out while sitting in Dimboola and had a chance to get it today Out with Brisal and Aussie M&M
Day 6 in a row for 31 days of caching in August. Luckily I have this week off to drop the geodaughter at a course..which = all day caching. Joined by Mrs. M from Aussie M&M and now honeysucker for todays frivolities. I worked most of this out last night and got the start point this morning over coffee. So it was only natural I would want to get this one today. On the way we parked further down the valley, did another Master Darko cache and walked up to this one. Spied the likely hide from 20 metres off and was promptly rewarded by a cache. Thanks Master Darko. Will have to solve a few more now.
Like a cipher cache that I understand with brisal5 teaching me before we attempt the find. Brian had already solved this one and while in the area we walked to this cache. A nice walk and saw the spot from 20 metres away. TFTC and the puzzle Master Darko.
In preparation for our visit to South Australia, we attempted a number of puzzles. This was one of them. We really enjoyed this puzzle. After some initial playing around, we developed a strategy and some plausible coordinates were obtained. We were very pleased when confirmation was provided by geochecker.com. Today we went to look for the cache. After finding somewhere to park the car, it ws a pleasant walk to GZ. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and its contents were in good condition. Thanks for the puzzle Master Darko and thanks for the cache.
Last day of the year. Time to complete another few of my goals. This has been a big year for our caching!! Filled all the days in my calendar on the 19th of this month (had 222 to fill at the start of the year)!
Had solved this one a long time ago (I recon 2011 sometime) and thought that I had found it, yet today realised that I hadn't logged it and definitely hadn't been there. Came in from another cache and was very excited to make the find as this was a milestone cache.
My last for 2012!

Another "easier" Master Darko puzzle to work out. A nice walk to the cache. Thanks Master Darko.
I remember trying to solve this puzzle with just pen and paper and getting nowhere. Some nasty stuff going on there for a 2.5 star puzzle. With the aid of excel and some other tools a plausible set of coordinates rolled out a lot easier.
Hopefully this'll keep me in good stead once the 4 triangle and 5 line are tackled....
The kids and I had just completed a caching tour of a nearby park, so we decided on a quick detour before calling it a day and going home for well deserved pizza.

Got lucky with my method on this one and had the coords in a jiffy. 4 Triangles is proving rather more frustrating! Found with aroset - glad we didn't approach from the uni side, as was our first intention. Slipped and slid our way down to the cache. TFTC Master D!

Another one off the 'solved but not yet found' list for me. A great day for a walk, but not being familiar with the area, I did have some trouble finding the most suitable access and made a bit of a meal of it. A quick find once at GZ. Thanks Master Darko for the cache.
had a bit of a nut out and a quick trip down to grab this one. perfect caching weather, found 2 caches without a gps.

Having a friend of the cache owner in my staff gave me some incite into the devious nature of the Darko ciphers. Plugged my brain in and soon enough an answer fell out. Headed to GZ after finding Easy Degrees. Was little concerned about the backyard over my shoulder and sound of motorbikes in the distance. Signed the log and headed back up the hill. Neat puzzle and cache, TFTC Master Darko. SL.
Enjoyed solving the puzzle. The walk to GZ was on the warm side today. Great cache Master Darko, much appreciated!
Found at 17:35 exploring the bushland around Flinders which I've not seen before. Not too much trouble with the Cipher, just a little patience and method.
Cache is in good condition. Rescued a TB which has been in here for 6 months. SL. TFTC.

It took almost every possibility before I finally got myself the right combination.
A very well constructed puzzle.
I'm pretty sure the route i took to GZ puts the terrain stars up around the 3 - 4 mark too!!
Great puzzle and nice safe hide. Cheers.

Neat puzzle, which I solved a while ago but just not got the chance to come down this way on a business trip. I also went bushbashing because it was late at night and I did not know the area. Eventually I found suitable paths, and certainly headed back to the carpark via paths.

Another fun cipher to solve in preparation for a trip to Adelaide one day. The cache was quite a long walk but a little cross country work made it a bit easier. As I was returning back to the car a group of mountain bikers came flying down a hill and one made a spectacular stack! Caching is much safer.

A nice leisurely stroll after the hike that is Master X. Easily found too. Glad to be spot on after coming away empty handed at 4 triangles (no idea what went wrong there, but I did solve it over a year ago) TFTC
After dragging ourselves back up the hill from Master X this was a stroll in the park.
Our legs a bit wobbly we made our way to GZ. Meh it's only a 1.5 terrain, it can't be that bad. The terrain was probably more a 2, but still far easier than Master X.
Found the cache very quickly before making our way back up the slope to the car, and another drink of water.

Found the cache at 10.20am. Lovely weather for a walk... Beauty bushland - loves it. SL. Thanks Master Darko for organising the cache and hunt.
Another one that we played passenger to Adrian Mc on. Good hide - Mr O had a fun time nearly sliding out of control while searching! TFTC.
No problems with parking on a Saturday evening.
Started to bush bash down the hill and eventually decided to follow the tracks to the cache.
There was a mountain bike race going on the tracks. So I needed to avoid them to get to the cache. A quick find, and I sat on the seat to log the find while they rushed past on their bikes.

Friends solved this puzzle for us. Found with Howlinmad3. Unfortunately we took the scenic route to the cache. TNLN TFTC
I discovered the errors in the coding but that was nowhere near as hard as trying to get close access, by vehicle, to a position near the cache. Ended up parking illegally and then worrying about the roving security patrols either clamping or towing my vehicle whilst I made a direct approach to the cache from above. Easy find in the end. Phew! The vehicle was still where I left it after I climbed back up. Glad I can tick this one off now.
Found at 18:40. The UBD is not the best way to find access to this one, but eventually found a good spot. Nice walk in the fading light and an easy find. Thanks Darko, these ciphers are great puzzles.
My daughter helped me solving the puzzle. My husband and I enjoyed our walk towards the cache. My husband found it before me.
Thanks Master Darko for the cache.

Enjoyed the puzzle. Used a cross country approach for this one so we ended up with very wet jeans and shoes early on Sunday morning! Thanks again Master Darko.
We certainly didn't take the 1.5 terrain approach to this cache - we took the beeline! The walk was pleasant and GZ certainly a picturesque little spot if one stands with their back to the housing.
Thanks Darko.
Thanks Darko.
Took the straight line approach. Probably an easier way but, hey[8)]
This was the first of the Master Darko ciphers that I solved in preparation for this trip and it gave me a new perspective on ciphers and from these learnings I progressed to more difficult ones.

#27 of 34 finds on my first day in Adelaide, in company with acts2youthgroup. We found this one at 2015. Oh no! Not another walk downhill! It turned out to be an easier proposition than the earlier cache. It was a pleasant night for a walk, actually, and we found the cache in the first place we looked. I made no exchange. Thanks to Master Darko for the cache. Cheers, dak.
Thirty-four of forty-three cache finds for the day in the company of dak’s Emu Mob, the cache was found at 20:15. This sure was a night of Master Darko caches, oh know not down there we thought, luckily we found a path and made the easy. Thanks Master Darko for another one.
Finally decided to pick this one up and nearly broke a bone trying to do so. Decided to follow the arrow...straight down and consequently fell down , hard. Brushed myself off and took it a bit easier from then on. Nice hide and i liked the official container. Loved the area it was hiddden in.
A nice walk in the dark and I staggered up to Skippy as he was finishing the log but I made it. Now to trail behind again until we got back to the car.
Parrothead was following me like a lost puppy, come on you can do it Yes you can.
