With so many DNFs and no idea when I'll be over that way again, it's time for this one to go. Hopefully someone else can make use of this beautiful spot.
We looked for ages but no luck today - gives us an excuse to come back another time.
Gorgeous views. We camped around the next corner at Swincers Rocks. Yorkes is beautiful - reminds me a lot of Kangaroo Island. Thanks for placing this cache.
Easily the longest DNF on my list, 1st DNFd back on 10/10/07
Drrove out here today, love the views here.
Walked straight to it... no where near where I was looking last time! Go figure.
Anyways, thanks for the trip out here... no guns.

Have had a fantastic week exploring the YP with the help of geocaching. This hobby is more than finding a piece of paper, it’s discovering places you would normally pass by without a second thought.
A beautiful day with a slight breeze and an amazing clear view over the ocean.
TFTC Keep smiling

Actually found by accident! Saw cache whilst stepping up onto a rock. Camouflaged a little more after signing log. TFTC.
Very windy spot but amazing views. We have left some little treasures from the beach for the next visitors
Thanks for the cache.
A nice quick find for us today.
We watched some people surfing down below.

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children.
After veging out (non caching) at Daly Heads for three nights, it was time to move on and find some caches, if we are reach #5000 at Millicent.
After heading out to Corny Point Lighthouse for a GA Virtual, we continued back along the dirt road to Annie Point. Great spot for coffee and cache.
Easy find, considering it had taken an inadvertent drive to Edithburg by muggles, who were considerate enough to bring it all the way back (they wrote a note in the log book)
Not sure if they put it in the right spot, but we returned it to where we found it, and covered it in natural cammo. Great view, Thanks Anja. Fave point for the view, thanks

Beautiful day today. Took us longer than it should have done. Easy find when on the right side.
found it TFTC. Yes windy BUT with the heat wave of 43+ ..... beautiful what heat wave lol
Today is our second day staying at Point Turton and exploring this lovely part of the world. We have never visited the Yorke Peninsular before, and we really wonder why not. It’s so beautiful, with a mix of beach, crop farming, paddock grazing animals and natural countryside.
Yesterday we started on the geo art trails, and today we are continuing that, but mixing it up with random caches spread across the countryside. The geo art gives us the numbers, but the random caches take us to some lovely out of the way spots. A great combination of the reasons we love caching.
Thanks to all the CO’s in the area for all the caches they have developed, put out and maintain for us to find. A mammoth job, well done. We appreciate your efforts.
A lovely deviation from the geoart power trails after we visited the lighthouse where we paused for lunch.
Thank you for bringing us here.

TFTC 2582# out and about with muggle sister picking up a few caches on our way south to Inness national park
#2417 One of the more easy finds you will come across, especially when in full view from the geocar uncovered! After signing the log we rehid it a lot better. Can't believe how beautiful this section of the coast is and hardly a muggle to be seen anywhere! TFTC .Anja
Easter Weekend - Yorke Peninsular - 3000kms - 640 caches - 4000 cache milestone.
After discussions with Gonefishen07 and Bounty Trackers a plan was hatched to visit the Yorke Peninsular to tackle the fish geo art over Easter. We set out Thursday lunchtime heading to Bordertown, a side trip to Minyip to check out Coopers Crossing was made. Friday we turned off at Murray Bridge and headed to Gawlar to check out Gawlar's Fort Knox, we had lunch at Port Wakefield before heading down to Marion Bay to meet everyone. The group Geo Nerds comprise of Gonefishen07, Zobo04, Bounty Trackers, KTCvic, de ja vu, Velocachu and BorisB&Natasha. We cached locally on Friday afternoon and hit the powertrails in earnest on Saturday where we finished on Sunday lunchtime. We then visited a number of caches on the coast to see some magnificent views. Monday saw us depart Marion Bay heading up to Balranald through Renmark grabbing a cache in three states in one day! A detour to Tocumwal then the drive back to Melbourne saw a fantastic weekend end. Thank you to Leesa, Zoe, Ash, Rob, Kate and Sioux for the fun, frivolity and friendship that made the weekend so great!
Sunday we completed the remaining Fish Tales series and completed the Boat as well. During the Boat Gonefishen07 completed her 4000th cache find milestone, something we achieved 10 caches later. After the power trails were completed we headed west to grab a few caches near the lighthouse and to take in the views before heading to Brentwood to visit the old cemetery (a must do).
This was the first cache to find after completing the Geo Art. Campbell made the find whilst we soaked in the views. I was glad I took a number of photos here!!!
Thank you for all the placers and cache owners we had a fantastic time!!!

It was with great excitement that I headed to South Australia with the Geo Nerds consisting of Gonefishen07, Bounty Trackers, KTCvic, de ja vu, Zobo04 & Velocachu.
I have never cached outside of Victoria, nor in a group and I was really looking forward to it.
Every single one of us achieved a very memorable milestone made even more special because they were achieved with very special friends.
Thank you so much to the many COs for the time and effort in placing their caches. I'm sure it enables many groups like ours to get together, have lots and lots of fun and form life long friendships, all in the quest for little pieces of treasure.

Our third and final caching day on the Yorke Peninsula. After our massive day yesterday we were able to finish off the series and then enjoy some sight seeing in the afternoon and 2 milestones of 4000 were also achieved. Cache logs were signed as Geo Nerds, (Bounty Trackers, KTCVic, Gonefishen07, Boris&Natasha, Velocachu & Zobo04). Thanks for placing this cache & bringing us to this spectacular location. Fav point from us and thanks for the photo opportunities.
What a beautiful spot with stunning views, this is a truly spectacular part of our state, thank you for bringing us here Anja!
Heading down to the bottom of the peninsula for a couple of days with LLL51 stopping for a few caches along the way. [^]

On YP to show an overseas visitor the wonders of the 'bottom end'. Although on caching rations managed to grab a few nearby at places of interest.
We couldn't shoot the breeze as it was so strong it would have turned any bullet around and back at us today. Found the cache though. [ Thanks Anja...spectacular in any conditions.

Today was day six of the ahomburg and sharkiefan 2015 road trip to South Australia. After a couple of massive numbers days with sedgwickDave and Ice Foxy, we said goodbye as they headed for home, we continued our mission to find 1000 caches in the nine days of our holiday. Today, we managed to pick up quite a few traditional caches as well as all but one of the geoart.

During a road trip from Adelaide to Marion Bay with the family took a slight detour via Kadina, Stayed at the SandyBottoms holiday home in Marion Bay and did some local touring.
Just a side note make sure that you go to the Marion Bay Tavern and try Josh's Hot Sauce.

This was our first (of many) Geocaches. My boys are loving the adventure. We're locals to the area but never knew this whole caper existed.
What a weekend!
Set out Saturday with Dennisc52, CPwanderer and Clare007 in Dennisc52's geomobile, accompanied by Moneydork and Tounga in theirs.
We met firesafe over there too.
I bailed ship on Saturday night when Dennisc52 and crew returned home, so that I could continue to cache on Sunday with Laighside Legends, firesafe and Moneydork and Tounga.
By the end of the weekend, I had finished the 'current' geoart on YP and totalled 275 & 3DNFs .
From this stage of the day onwards, it was just Clare007, CPwanderer, Dennisc52 and myself as the others were still finishing the geoart.
This was a very quick find for us today but that sure didn't detract from the views

Found this one totally by accident. Without even looking for it! Long term geocachers seen to know what to look! For. Thanks for the cache.loved the view.
Parked about 3 metres from this one and spotted the potential hide from the van.
It was windy here today but a warm wind which is unusual for us Tasmanians.
Had awesome views both up and down the coast from here today and the sea was the prettiest blue. It made you want to just go down there and jump in it.
Thanks for sending us out to this great spot.

Quick find at a very scenic location; blowing a gale today but clear skies and a beautiful sunset on the way. TFTC
Touring the bottom end of the York Peninsula and picking up a cache or two on the way.
The boys of the team spent about 5 minutes scratching around looking for it while the girls stood there laughing at us! They were looking right at it, but were too mean to tell us! Great views though.
We found this cache as part of our family YP camping trip. Over the 12 days we saw some fantastic scenes and did a heap of cool stuff. This really is a beautiful slice of our country. To top off an already wonderful trip, we also found 145 caches, 6 trackables, 1 pathtag and attended 1 event.

Had transport duty for the Bleden Venturers who were doing a Marine Litter Survey camp at Gleesons Landing. This gave me a day and a half to get some caches on the bottom end of the Peninsula that need a walk in and I had been leaving for later - well now was later
Finally got back to this one - left a TB. TFTC.
