Found on our trip from Wodonga to Tathra. A quick park and grab with no snow today. TFTC
It was a fairly easy find with no snow today. I don't know that I'd like to be digging in the snow for this one, I'd be very cold!!! But a lovely stop today in misty cool mountain weather. TFTC
A nice find on our trip through to Cooma. Thanks for stop and good chance to stretch out legs. We took travel bug. Left nothing. TFTC

DNF for us today - geokids weren't quite keen enough to dig in the snow!
Feet were getting cold and wet.
Maybe we'll come back in summer.
Thanks anyway for the hunt.

A nice little stop off on the way to the coast.
Could have been a few godet holes here, but Big Ez had it in the first spot he looked. A small frog was guarding the hidey hole when we went to pop it back.

This was a nice quick drive-by and just the thing to break up the trip a bit. I must admit to wondering what the purpose of this little section of brick-work was way out here in the boonies. It seemed like it could have been part of a monument, but I didn't spot any plaque or similar sign.

This was our turn off to find trout, solitude and a cache along the way.
We succeeded. The boys had their first night out under a naked sky. We watched the thunder storms pass over, spectacular but dry.
The morning rise was fun but most of the fish too small. I did however mange to cast to a few that will go in the smoker.
Thanks for the cache. It makes a great navigation point for a turn off that comes up blind.

Interesting spot for a cache

As other cachers have noted: why is it here? Nice place to sit for a while and contemplate the next cache. Thanks. ZZ7
Found with Ultra Violet Z, SuperJaz & Bewilderbeest. We had a bit of an adventure finding new places on our way to Tumut. It was lots of fun and good caching.

I think this was the first time the GPS had actually zeroed out while we were still in the car. Now that's a driveby! TFTC
Like a few others, I missed the reason for this being here other than to break the drive. It was good for that though.
Another "Team Bananaphone" find with SuperJaz, Ultra Violet Z and Little Buds.

Nice easy drive-by but what is the reason for the little brick wall and car park ?

An instant find before we headed off along the road and the dam. We had intended to go right through to Curnago cache and camp there, but after passing the dam, we encountered a locked gate, not happy, they could have had a sign at the highway it was closed and saved us a long drive in and out.

Quick cache whilst heading towards Kiandra. I have often wondered about the stories behind the people who did all the stonework in the mountains. There is so much of it around!
