Looks like we need to replace this one. Will attempt to get out here in the next few weeks.
TFTChallenge but no luck. Scoured both sides on the fence and forks of all trees. Too tricky for me.
Another cache found on our 2022 South Australian Adventure and we have a beautiful day in Clare today.
A very pretty church and cemetery and a straight forward hide. We have replaced the cracked container, old logbook still in situ.
We are enjoying our time travelling SA, fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Our thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour

A fun day caching with JJ52 and Michells&hound finding caches in the area. A lot of churches and cemeteries were visited. I ended up with about 50 finds. TFTC postiegirl06
Today was a big day out of caching with part of the JAMS crew today it was JJ52 Allister w and myself.
We met up at 7.15am and headed off on an adventure to the East of Clare. We targeted cemeteries and Used2B churches.
All up we found around 50 caches each as well as a bonus FTF on an amazing cache at Spring Gully.
It was a fabulous day and we all had a great time. It was interesting to visit some smaller off the beaten track historical towns.
Thanks to all the CO for putting out and maintaining hides for us to find.
Lovely old church TFTC Postiegirl

A caching day had been organised with Michells&hound and allister w to head north and find caches that all three of us hadn't found. It was a great day for caching and we had a lovely day driving on some out of the way tracks and roads, through some of our quaint little towns visiting lots of Used 2B Churches and historical sites. We even made a smallish detour to grab a FTF in Spring Gully Conservation Park.
And another lovely old church that we visited today.
Thanks for the cache Aussie M & M.

Headed off from Wool Bay to spend a couple of days camping out in the mallee near Blanchetown. Took a relatively direct route there and a very circuitous route back to find a good number of caches along the way, and to clear up another small area on the map! Thanks for the cache postiegirl06!
Mr Tardis & gridge98 were hijacked by freddo and Trigger_Fish, off for a leap day caching adventure starting at 4am and caching until the evening when Mr Tardis's brain and body stopped functioning. Leap days do strange things to geocachers.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache postiegirl06.
PS: Sorry for taking over a year to log my find. I really need to get my logging more organised!

Day 183 (Friday 28th) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Owen today. A total of 22 for the day and 3616 for the trip. TFTC.
Beautiful piece of history... Quiet & quaint resting place for those souls no longer in this world.
Not too hard to find, wish it was in a different spot however out of respect.

Beautiful historic location and a lovely resting place for those souls no longer in this World.
Reasonably easy to find spot however I think that it should be located somewhere slightly different out of respect personally.

Yet another Wednesday wander for members of the puzzled puzzlers group. [8)] Today's members are myself, Blackadders and S.A. Sewer Rats. [^] Surprise, surprise - we were one again heading north towards Clare. Shock Horror - we would one be taking a few detours on the way to collect caches. Would we actually make it to Clare today before lunch for a change!
We detoured into here to find a fantastic old church. I must admit I was still admiring how tall the church was when the others were over looking for the cache. But the time I got there the Snake already had it in hand a bit further away from where the GPS was taking me [?] All the lower branches had been lopped of the trees and the cache was sitting with the logs which presumedly would be collected at some time. Moved back to the fork in the tree where the GPS said it should be.
**Thanks Aussie M & M for this cache. **

Wednesday wanderings with the usual crew back to Clare and surrounds to further clean out the area of yet to be found caches.
A slight detour to get this off route cache that needed a smiley on the map.
Container was found just lying on the ground between a few recently trimmed branches.
Returned to a more (hopefully) secure location near GZ that should be obvious.
The Owner may need to check in the near future.
TFTC and bringing us here to yet another gem of a place on the back roads.

A new day, a new caching adventure with Aussie Mary. Today we are heading to Clare, gave ourselves 5 hours to get there, and we actually got there on time
A lovely location, worthy of having a cache. Sadly the trees are dropping limbs and the GZ was well covered. We placed a new cache.
Thanks to DustyandDizz from mogni

Couldn't find it today and did 2 sweeps. It was a lovely church and was happy I was able to see this place.
Today we explored Riverton using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way with Roostaman and this was one of them. An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

A fine Spring day for a trek along the Rattler trail with Tassie Trekkers.
Not many muggles around today, and mostly good quick finds.
Lots of great scenery and healthy crops along the way too.

Found this and grandad had a quick fly around with his drone. Also had a look around the cematary and saw some very young graves. TFTC
Out and about today with the Grand Kidlets, Japanesque. These Junior Cacher extraordinaire's beat us to most of the finds today! What a lovely little church and cemetery. Took advantage of a quick find to put the Quad in the air and get some footage of this beautiful area. Have uploaded a couple of shots from the air. TFTC
Found it. Along with the grave of Annie Green nee Kemp, who was the wife of my great grandfathers' brother, John Green. Annie died not long after giving birth to their child. A couple of years later he married one of Annies' sister, Maria Kemp. TFTC
Quick and easy find.

Lucky to see the cache for flies on a warm new yearseve. Love these caches that take us to otherwise unknown spots. TFTC.
With red home from Goolwa for the weekend, ronso was keen to spend some time geocaching with her man :c) We decided on a night caching adventure and headed north, as there were a few new caches still to be found. It was VERY dark when we arrived here… which makes these locations a little spooky :cO We searched for a good half hour before giving up. Perhaps not a good one to find in the dark… no smiley here tonight :c(

It's getting late, the sun isn't far away from setting but I still have time to get a couple more caches around these parts. This one seems fairly easy and while it was a quick find, it was an even quicker stamping of the log book. There were hundreds of thrip like bugs, in my eyes, up my nose... just everywhere. It felt eerie out here alone, perhaps it was just that time of night, twilight but I took some photos and hurried away. I drove off with my camera still sitting on the bonnet of the car and thankfully I spotted it just as I turned out on to the dirt road, lucky it never fell off

Cache was found quickly, and in good condition.
Many thanks for the hunt today, postiegirl06.

SA has a few of these isolated spots as a result of its particular history. At GZ a Willie Wagtail was getting excited so must have had a nest nearby. Thanks to PG for another cache.
Found by Mary & David at 1720. Not often a church or a cemetery takes Mary's breath away, but this one ticked every box and then some. Mary loves graveyard architecture and the social history on display. Great to learn that the church is still used and has been restored. At least the aboriginal burial, although quite separate, had a cross. Our thanks once more to PG.
It's always good to see one of these places that's been looked after properly. Cache was a nice quick find.
Picked up a Travel Bug that seeks to have been logged into Rhynie cache accidentally.

Found no worries. The builders must have read the plans upside down when building the church, its higher than its longer.. Thx postiegirl06. Your knowledge of cemeteries is amazing.
Beautiful church with nice view. Interesting to see some paint on steel and make look good... No swap SL. Thanks PG for organising the cache and hunt.
This is a fantastic old building that we are sure could tell plenty of tales both happy and sad . We can't imagine that the cost of this building would be today, but it would be a lot more than 68 pounds of donations. The cache was located after a brief search and the log duly signed.
We were a bit saddened on the way back to the car to notice a smaller grave set apart from the others, the sole inscription "aboriginal"
Thanks PG for bringing us tho another great historical location
