Too many muggles to look properly, and not sure if has been muggled, so left pretty quickly
Can you check this please, as there have been a number of experienced cachers looking for this to no avail. I have a feeling someone saw the chap before us and it has been muggled. I hope I am wrong.
i've got into the habit of driving into this rest stop seeing the number of muggles about and driving straight back out again, but tonight all the muggles were fast asleep (or at least hiding away) so I stopped and had a look for the cache but without success. Hopefully next time.
Thanks.
Thanks.
How embarassing four grown men scavenging in the roundabout bushes while cars are parking everywhere, and what I ask you? Easy my ass, we even had a stranger geocacher stop by which made five grown men wandering around very mysteriously in the heat of the day pillaging the greenery. NEVER AGAIN will I believe any cache is EASY.
Not found with the head chef, dalsmit and markajharrison.
Even had a stranger GC'er help look with us.
Obviously not so easy!

We spent quiet a while rummaging - no sign of it. Keen to learn if muggled or still blinkin there! (Surely not)
Purposefully made this our resting spot on the way up to Anna Bay so I could find this one. After an initial search, I stopped for lunch and dove back in to find it almost straight away. TNLNSL. TFTC!

A fairly contained seach area, 5 metres of accuracy & GZ was pointing to a spot 2 metres outside of the obvious area. How hard could it be?
Spent half an hour searching between muggles driving through but no joy.
I will keep an eye on this cache for a successful find before returning

I thought that because it was raining there wouldn't be muggles about. I was wrong. I'll have to try another time.
A very conveinient spot to stop. The kids made use of all the facilities and geo-mum picked up some mangoes too. MMMM
Oh yes and we found the cache too, well geo-4 year old did, I think it's easier when you are closer to the ground!
Thanks!

Quick brekky stop on out way north. Have stopped here for break many times, very convenient but also busy today. Geokid ducked over and quickly grabbed this one. Took scout badge and left screwdriver and ball. TFTC
Muggle Central alright, but I can't say I wasn't warned.
Great convenient hide.

Left some scout patches, a garfield pin, and an AFL Pog as the swaps were a bit light on.

Team Casho’s Boy weekend of caching up north.
With the girls at home the boys decided to go a caching.
Armed with a list of lower end caches. No disrespect to the caches or their owners there were many wonderful caches, locations and things to see in our travels. We just set up a search for those with a terrain level of around 2 – 2 ½ for this trip to build up our numbers heading towards our 1000th find in our first year. As this was the case many of our logs would just read easy find so to expand on that we are including a run down on bits of our trip in all logs.
Trip
Wollongong – Raymond Terrace – Nelsons Bay and home via the Central Coast area.
Visiting relo’s while in the area (I know a major waist of caching time).
Found not only our 900th find but also out 950th, on our way to the big 1000.
Things we seen
Views, fireworks, kids jumping their bikes off the end of a wharf, a kangaroo, a koala, crabs by the hundreds, lizards, a crock, a turtle, kookaburra, aliens, ducks, dogs, boats, tankers, a weather station, the Coast Guard, police, ambulance and the fire brigade and that was just for starters.
Removed a box of matches from a cache in a bush area. Not such a good idea I thought.
Got bitten by mozzies, invaded by school kids while trying to return a cache, did some 4 wheel driving, got busted by muggles, introduced my muggle family to caching, collected some travellers, found some new and interesting hide styles and carried out maintenance on several caches while on the go. On the way home had to take the long way due to a fatal car accident on Picton Rd. Stopped to help a driver who got a puncher as a result of the accident. Seen his car fall off the jack while we were passing by, legs under the car (all ok there thankfully). Kids got paid for our assistance as I would not accept the money. This detour proved longer then it should have due to the 3 new caches in Appin last week.
Our thanks to the girls for allowing us to cache without then (not that they had any other choice) and the many cache owners who placed the caches we attended.
We look forward to catching up with fellow cacher’s at the Geocaching Association of NSW Nurragingy Christmas Party GC1ZCCX December 12 2009, were all going well this will be our 1000th find.
Looks like the Oz Wagga Wagga Mega Event (April 2-5, 2010) GC1Y5R has just hit the MEGA requirements and we can’t wait to be part of it.
Merry Christmas
Happy and safe caching.

COuldnt find this one today, way to many muggles, will try next time im up here !
Following the GPS to gz and spotted a couple doing "strange things". Got the kids out of the car and wandered nearby and asked "Any muggles around". Had a chat whilst kids started looking. Other team found it first congrats to them. Left a bouncy ball and took a lanyard. TFTC.
I looked for this cache before with no sucess. With three of us this time dentoz found it after about 5min. TFTC
couldnt look as was so very busy with the whole place surrounded by muggles and families.(being a public holiday doesn't help)
Will come back another time soon.

Couldn't wait to do it again so had to go back today and this time we had some luck. was raining and a little bit dark so hardly any muggles. found it quite easily this time.
Took nothing, left lanyard.

Joint effort with Mightybent and Philfi and 1 of 10 finds for the day. Heaps of muggles because it was a public holiday. GZ seemed to centre around some dog poo, but in spite of this we found the cache without any nasty accidents. TFTC
I've always liked this rest spot. I would have liked it more today without a few dozen people hanging around, spoiling our attempts to find this.
This one proved really difficult to find. Eventually I found it with my foot and kicked the cache out of its hiding spot. Opps. Cheers Gav [3976]
I can't believe I've never stopped here given that I driven this road an incalculable number of times. It's a really pleasant spot to break up the journey.
There were carloads of muggles here today. I tried to be as subtle as possible finding the cache. I engaged in a bit of CITO as cover. I hope I was discrete enough.
I left TBG Geocacher's Day Geocoin and took a 10 cent piece.

GeoTracey's very first find. Heap of people here for coffee. Tnln Lovely day and nice spot Woyboys
There is no need to wait here (well unless there is a big bus).
The sucker took me far too long to find. It had to be there where I was looking and it was. Eventually.
Worth the wait.
Clear skies, TeamAstro.
I chose a time when visitors should not be there, but the area was packed with onlookers. I used a mobile to explain my aimless wandering around GZ and soon had the cache in hand and logged. Thanks for a fun cache. Took TB, LN.
collected this one on the way home from a camp with some friends...was highly populated with prospective muggles as 5 coaches stopped while there...tried to hide what we were doing by playing with a ball

It would appear that someone liked my coin/ TB hybrid so much they took it to keep!!
So goes the way of caching.
Sad indictment though it is, I hope it will reappear at some time in the future.
thanks to those that looked for it.

Finally found it but I am sitting in the car waiting for some muggles to leave who have parked their car facing the cache location. Maybe a bit of a wait yet. Thanks for the hunt anyway.
Found at 1840. I imagine that this one would usually be pretty hard to grab at times, but today with a bit of rain around, there was only one person here. So once he left the cache was an easy find. A nice little rest point here.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Found 12:50pm. This one has been on my most annoying list. Over the past 4 months I have tried to tackle this one. Today I was in luck. Almost muggle free! The quietest I have ever seen this place. Had cache in hand signed and took TB-UN4GVR.
Found pretty quickly, not too many muggles about. Once again employed a lack of discretion, putting on a flouro vest carrying the 30 metre tape and looking like a council worker got me to the cache with little suspicion.
Took Lady bug.
Left Unite for Diabetes Columbia TB.
Definitely no other TB's or coins left in cache.
But was beaten to this one this morning by another cacher.

When we stopped by early this morning, the area was packed with people partaking in "Driver Reviver" refreshments. We thought we'd drop in on our way home, but after finding two close by caches, we were just too tired and decided to head home. Hopefully we'll have this cache (located in a thoughtful, and nice area) to look forward to hunting on our next trip north!
After driving past so many times it was finally time to stop and bag this cache. After a short search the cache was in hand. Thanks
Heading home from a day out on the road for work. It wasn't too busy today unlike other days I have stopped in here to look for this cache. Quick find, sign & replace.
Great little rest area (beats the big Macca's stop up the road anyday) .... unfortunately our little one had dozed off to sleep so Mr MADSTARS had to jump out sign log and we were off again. Clue made good sense! TNLNSL

A nice place, which we visited previously before we began caching. Watch out for muggles!
Found on the way back to the Central Coast Hockey grand final. Yes, I could have waited but....
Popped in to dropped off a TB on my way to Sydney for the Sydney Running Festival 9Km Bridge run.
As I turned off the freeway I saw the workers out nearby and then as I drove into the area there were fences erected on the western end where the GPS was pointing. Only 4 cars and they were all empty. I parked opposite where the needle was now pointing, after thankfully bending, and grabbed the cache at 0700hrs. Just after replacing the cache a motorbike muggle arrived!
I grabbed a TB from the cache but it hasn't been logged in yet.
I didn't notice the listed travellers in there so hopefully the person that dropped this TB picked up the others.

I'm like Subydaz. Have been here many times. Finally got my chance to search with no one around but no luck. I think another cacher was waiting for me to clear the area. He did a few laps looking at me and generally keeping an eye on the area before moving on. Try again next time in a less conspicuous shirt (White)
00:15 - Yet another attempt on this cache (go to be at least 10 now, but I haven't logged a note every time). I thought that maybe under the cover of darkness I'd get my chance, but yet again, no. While there were muggles here again as per usual there were as few as I'd ever seen here, but one parked and looking directly at GZ area (why wasn't he asleep!).
I'd considered placing a cache in a rest area similar to this but decided that there simply weren't enough muggle-free chances during my reconnaissance period prior to placing it to make it viable for most cachers, and that was a lot quieter than this spot.
I'm not about to give this cache away and let a muggle see me acting strange in the dark, so I thought maybe I'd wait it out. No, I can't wait! Maybe that's why the cache has this name? I think this must be close to my most attempted cache now...
Thought I saw a pair of green eyes in the bush opposite the amenities here as I drove out which was a bit scary.

Stopped in to get this one heading North to Newcastle. Had to wait until some muggles left (gave me a chance to go to the toilet) then it was a nice easy find
Under the cover of darkness we entered the rest area on our odyssey north and were greeted with what appeared to be to glowing green eyes behind some camper vans parked for the night.
They soon disappeared and we thought nothing of it again until we heard a noise behind us and near the dunnies. We shinned our torches in that direction and picked up the green eyes again and a black shape but it quickly disappeared out of sight behind the dunnies. As we where walking back to the car we heard it again and caught it in our lights this time. At first we thought it was a wallaby but it stood upright and ran across the road and into the bush, have no idea what it was but it was about one metre high.

Had tried for this cache several times, but either there was too many muggles, or the part of the rest area that has the cache was closed. Was an easy find in the end. TNLNSL TFTC.
On the way to Brisbane. Nice easy found it. Nice rest area. No swap. SL. Thanks Sensible Shoes for organising the cache and hunt.
Was hoping for a quick find as it is still a loooong way to Byron (and many cache stops in between). We gave up after a short search and decided to aim for more fruitful territory.
Didn't have a large amount of time to look around, also it was very busy in the morning. Hoojar and i checked around briefly and then bailed back into the warm car.
My advice for the next person is to take a stick to move all the toilet paper away.

Didn't get to have a look for this one. There was a chemical spill in the parking area yesterday (according to a workman that stopped us) and it is fenced off. Not sure how long it will be like it.
This is quickly becoming one of my nemesis caches. I tried to find this on Wednesday afternoon but there were far too many people about to do that unsuspiciously (as has been the case on several occasions now) and today the area looked like some kind of disaster zone, there were dozens of emergency vehicles etc. in the area and it was road-blocked off. Maybe one day I'll get this cache...
Easy find by Fred, first for our long weekend, looking forward to many more. Took paper umbrella left frog SL TFTC
After a very long public holiday drive (10 hours from Sydney to Grafton) we needed to have a quick pit stop before the final assault on the F3. Used the facilities and then dodged a few children running rings around us to grab the cache. Log signed we continued on our merry (but extended) way.
