I checked on this one while on a brief return trip to SA, and it looks like my alternative GZ has now also been razed to the ground. Another structure has popped up that I could move it to, but I'm not around to maintain it, and so I think it's time to just make like Elsa and let it go. Thanks to all who found it, and for all your great logs.
Gotcha!
Thank you winterdragon for your cache puzzling of interestingness. The instructions for completion of my erection were free of all unclearness - although my dog and siblings might care to not agree.
With careful snipping and application of the tape of scotch-land, my new home building was completed, and my numbers for coordination were observed.
At first, the maps of google had me to believe that my coordination was not adequate, but the man of yellow was able to convince me otherwise.
Thanks be to the winterdragon

This one I had a bit of fun with. Like many others before.
I managed to get some numbers without fully completing the house and was not surprised at the location suggested.
At GZ the obvious location stood out and the cache was quickly found. Despite it being the midle ofthe day there were no muggles around.
Rescued a TB which had been in there since 2014.

Wanted a find for my birthday today. Construction was completed a few weeks ago and just required a quick stop on the way home from netball to get the cache. TFTC
Somewhat ironically, I was driving past the original hiding place for this last night and noticed that some home improvement has occurred and a structure now resides where the demolished one once stood. Though this new one is somewhat less breezy than it's predecessor.
Owl likes a puzzle that involves craft glue, scissors and duct tape. It filled some time while she was on sick leave. She also likes a cache that is exactly where it says it is and so can be found on time and on budget, despite the instructions being in Elbonese. Nothing like real home improvements, but worth a favourite point anyway.
I had fun constructing my paper house. I didn't scale it up so it was a little bit fiddly and probably took longer than it should have, but I got there in the end. [^]
Tonight on my way home from work I took a little detour to GZ. No-one around so I was able to go straight to where the co-ordinates were taking me, and knew I was in the right spot using the hint. Found the nicely hidden cache soon after.
Thanks for a different puzzle winterdragon and the fun of construction.

We had completed the construction and solved the puzzle back in July 2013. When we were checking our caches before coming on this trip, we noticed that the puzzle and hide had been changed. It didn't take very long to again solve the puzzle. Today we went to look for the cache and after a short time, the cache was located with the help of the hint. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks winterdragon for an interesting puzzle and for the cache.
Sadly the structure containing the original location has been demolished. I've placed a brand new container a short distance away, and the puzzle and hint have been renovated to suit.
Uh oh, sounds like there's been some serious renovation work happening at GZ. Disabling until I can get there and check out the situation.
Origami is not for me.
Found with 3LG and Flipper&co out for a few hrs caching on a friday night.
Cache is still safe and sound.
What happened to the good old days when house frames were made out of timber?

There is a very good reason I am not an architect NOR a civil engineer and the building of this little bungalow is testimony to it. having been through major home renovations, I'm still undecided as to what is more painful; dealing with subcontractors and builders OR building this little paper house. Just as well I printed it out in A3 as I'm sure I would have called in the demolition crew on a number of occasions to level the site so I could rebuild.
I never want to see this again and I will keep my newly acquired property as a reminder. TFTC winterdragon.

Found on a late night caching run with locus cache while acquiring a tall ladder from my parents house to tackle a particularly high cache hide. 'Solving' the puzzle proved difficult initially due to trying to be too clever with a potential red herring, but after getting a few red crosses on the geochecker I managed to blunder my way to a green light. Another favourite from me and TFTC winterdragon!
Fantastic little construction which I fashioned quite a while ago - I have it on my desk at work & a few people have asked me what it is. I tell them I plan to build...
Came to GZ last weekend, but try as I might I couldn't find the right spot to look. Then re-reading the cache page, I saw the vital clue and upon returning tonight, had the cache in hand in a jiffy. I'm sure I looked there, but of course I hadn't.
A real work of art, and a great puzzle. I'd give this 5 favourites if I could.
Thanks for the cache, Winterdragon.

After DNFing here about two and a half years ago I passed by again today and thought I'd give it another try which was a good decision without a persistent muggle around I managed the find in a minutes or so without even turning the GPS on.
I loved the puzzle and am now considering a career in the building industry.

Had this one worked out 12 months ago but I just overlooked the obvious when I first tried to find it.Today was a special achievement I found this cache at 12.12pm on this day the 12.12.12 and this was my 12th cache, if only it was 12C not this bloody hot(I'm out and about on a lent scooter that can only do 48kmh,no wonder people get injured on these things),tftc
Finally found this one!!
I don't know how many hours I've wasted cutting, folding and sticking this one ... screwing it up in disgust ... coming back to it later ... more cutting, folding and sticking ... trying to get a structure that looks reasonable ... I must have had at least 3 attempts at this one! ...
Then after some encouragement from Locus Cache, I finally came up with something that looked dodgy as, but gave me the coordinates to GZ.
So out for a walk at lunchtime ... and retrieved this cache ... also remembering the special hint.
So now I'm faced with an internal battle .... do I give it a favourite point because it was so clever? ... but why give it a favourite point - it caused me to waste so much time! ... do I? ... don't I? ... oh heck, it was such a clever, well thought out cache and hide - yep, it's got a favourite point from me!
Thanks for this clever cache Winterdragon! Well thought out ... very clever ... one of those, where it bugs you until you work it out!

Winterdragon thanks for the interesting puzzle and cache.
When I enlarged the images I didn't realise that only 1/2 of it copied. i spent several hours trying to put half a house together, thinking "is this some sort of joke by Winterdragon".
I felt a bit of a goose when I realised what was wrong.

We did the origami a long time ago and found the cache before we left Adelaide and were surprised when we came back for a visit that this one was marked as unfound in the GPS. There has been a new log since we signed it last time so are logging it for when we found it a second time. Thanks for the puzzle and the hide winterdragon.
After my work at the Youth Court was over, I had to head out of town this way to check out this cache as I had solved it all on my own some time ago: please do NOT ever ask me to build a building
Mind you, to complete the locus cache task at GZ, I had to do some building improvements of my own and use my latest geocaching tool in order to retrieve the cache and again to replace it.
So glad that extra hint was on the building plans or this could have been a long search
Dodged the muggles and finalised the building plans and ended an unexpected and unplanned caching day with my 860th cache!

That was fun. Even though the Elbonian plans came at different scales I managed to fudge a structure. Being an engineer myself I will not show the result as it is a bit embarrassing. Drove to site and retrieved the cache quickly. Tftc
I solved the puzzle at home in NZ so was disappointed when we couldn't find this one.
HelloMrs solved this one back in NZ, but we weren't able to make a find today. Cheers Gav
Had some time to spare this afternoon so I started the construction project - disappointed with my DIY skills when my building was finished, however I guess I must have done something right. The geokids came with me to GZ, it took the help of geogirl to get the cache. A favourite point awarded from me!

Those six folded pieces of paper had been teasing me for way too long. Finally I figured I ran out of excuses and armed with a knife, sticky tape and a box full of common sense, I set about the task.
Now there are two things I am really bad at: DIY and spacial reasoning, so in order to not embarrass myself I shan't add any photos of the final construction. Suffice to say the last remaining Winterdragon puzzle is now solved!
Needless to say a truly unique puzzle like this deserves another favourite star.

What a great idea for a puzzle? Love it!
I gave it to my daugher to make, and she cut out all the pieces and promptly lost interest. My parents babysat Saturday night and I said "if you need something to do, can you please build this house".
I awoke Sunday morning with some crumpled paper, no house, and a thumping headache! [XX(].
I finished it, and then Josh and I "manned-it-up" (see pic).

Solved this one almost two years ago when it was thought I was going to Adelaide back then, so I was looking forward to finally being able to track this one down. Arrived to GZ to find a very synonymous location, and after a brief search, I vaguely remembered one final detail about the puzzle, and the cache was found. Love this puzzle. A great concept and a lot of fun.

Fiddled with the paper model some time ago one night with Ciril.
Won't show you the result but it was highly amusing, looked like someone from an asylum made it, haha. Was out and about in the Semi tonight and decided to fetch this. I entered through a gap in the wall and I turned around to find the spider who was sitting in the corner was no longer there so I got kinda distracted and slightly freaked when I feared he may yet crawl over my face at some point.
Deductions were made and hints were remembered from encounters of the dragon kind and a deteriorating cache container which crumbled a bit as we grabbed it was opened and log signed. Thanx for a great hide. May need a new container.

I figured this one out a while ago, and, for a joke, I gave the cut-out pieces to the other half of Team Engage, as well as Confusedcious. Watching them try to put it together was better than TV.
I looked up the location on google maps, and figured out roughly where the cache would be. After having dinner with the folks, we drove to the GZ and found the cache BFE style! (Cheers Bob!).
Great cache, great execution, and death to elbonian industries! Seriously, havn't they ever heard of a scale? Or a ruler? Aaargh!

We got the final coords to this some time ago, and have been looking forward to seeing where we'd actually end up.
I think our patterns printed at different scales, but finding the solution didn't take too long.
At GZ today, I was pleased to see a familiar sight. Working as a contract builder for several years, I've seen many of this type of structure. I pointed out the differences, to Mrs J, of fixing Hebel compared to other cladding alternatives. She was busy looking for the cache.
Soon enough, I had the cache in hand. The perfect hiding spot. Good to see this example uses dampcourse under the bottom plates! Something CLH never bothers with.
Thanks winterdragon.

Had to go and look at some Bamboo Flooring for the shonky abode, so it was an ideal opportunity to grab this one. Somebody blocked the entrance so I had to walk through a wall.
Were very peeved not to have the opportunity of hunting this one out, having constructed said abode with Mr Chillipips, enjoying all the directions and information given with the plans and solving this one some time ago in anticipation of our trip. But just simply did not get time to go to GZ on our visit to Adelaide. Thanks anyway for a different kind of cache and for the challenge. Maybe on another trip...

Quiet morning at work so Seapig and I set out at trying this one again. The first time a couple of months back our printer printed one sheet at a different size to the other! This was cache # 45 of 45 for the day, in the company of Alansee on our five day long weekend Adelaide caching Bonanza. This cache was not on our list for today even though I had solved it, we had decided that we would only do caches that we both had not found, but we parked here for another cache and it was only 30m from the car so I took the opportunity and grabbed it, it was now time to head home to Melbourne. Masterbuilder Mrs TiedySmileys had correctly construed (or is that constructed) the answer to this sometime ago, we were just waiting for a day we would be in this part of town. Today was finally the day and we soon had the cache in hand.

Last cache for the night and what a lot of fun it was. I didn't print my picture off, I bought my packet house online and had it delivered. The bag it came in was full of useful advice on where I shouldn't put my toothbrush when kids are around. Once I constructed my house I immediately slapped $50 a week on it and put it on my nature strip. Low cost housing is hard to come by around Shepp, I had a family of 7 enquire about it within the hour.
The puzzle tied in nicely to the location and I thought it was very clever!
Thanks,
R - B

Find 658 My Way Without a GPS at 3.30pm
The construction was completed by Bob The Builder sometime ago but was waiting to Solver it.
Problem Solvered recently and the cache found today on my way elsewhere.
Also found there was no need to paint the structure.
Took Nothing. Left a Koala.
Thanks to winterdragon for the cache.

Found this bugger about five months ago with someuser and a parrot then about a month ago I was gently reminded I had not logged it. I went passed today (6.12.09) and checked the book for the find date (11.07.09) Oops....
Sorry about the late log.

That was a fun puzzle to solve! Found the correct coordinates after pasting up the wallpaper. Thanks for the cache winterdragon.
I thoroughly enjoyed the working on the puzzle for this one.
When I arrived I had GZ to myself, but shortly afterwards the renovators, turned up (on Sunday), and while I had some clover from the building & my parked car I didn't feel comfortable and looked around for a about 20 minutes, with no joy.
Maybe next time ?

You are obviously the sharpest tool in the shed - plus you love shed parties - woohoo ! Nice Hide WD [^] Thanks for another on my Mega Caching Blitz of Adelaide and the Suburbs Cheers from PG
Built my little house a while ago but needed a prod by our National Symbol to go and find it.
Waited for the traffic to clear, grabbed the cache and returned it before the next build up. Got back into the car and down came the rain albeit for a short time.
Day 273 of non-stop caching

What a fun little puzzle!
I built my little house a while ago, and finally got around to grabbing the cache in the early hours of the morning.
We haven't done many caches yet, but this has been one of the most enjoyable so far.
No swaps.
Thanks for the cache!

(Anyway you want me)
You've got a way with me
Somehow you got me to believe
In everything that I could be
I've gotta say, you really got a way
(Anyway you want me)
You've got a way it seems
You gave me faith to find my dreams
You'll never know just what that means
Can't you see... you got a way with me
It's in the way you want me
It's in the way you hold me
The way you show me just what love's made of
It's in the way we make love
(Anyway you want me)
You've got a way with words
You get me smiling even when it hurts
There's no way to measure what your love is worth
I can't believe the way you get through to me
It's in the way you want me
It's in the way you hold me
The way you show me just what love's made of
It's in the way we make love
Oh, how I adore you
Like no one before you
I love you just the way you are
It's in the way you want me
It's in the way you hold me
The way you show me just what love's made of
It's in the way we make love

With the puzzle solved a long time ago, I was planning to leave this one until the nearby works had finished, but tonight it was quiet there, and we were passing, so why not!
The cache was in hand quickly, and before I started sweating too much, I retreated to the cool of the car to sign the log.
Since the cache was full, there wasn't any space for a TB or coin

Third of 4 caches hunted down this afternoon with noinonni. An entertaining puzzle and brilliant corresponding hiding spot. TNLNSL TFTC.
The completed structure has been sitting on the top of the freezer for months. I decided that this MUST be the last cache for us for 2008. I spent some time inspecting the building site before phoning the Mrs to flick through the logs. Glad I did, but there really wasn't a need . A truly memorable cache, especially building it with 80gsm paper [:o)]. Thanks and Happy New Year.
I enlisted the help of my mum with the construction and she soon gave up. I persevered, and armed with the correct coords, set out today with racingstripes to retrieve.
No right turn, no left turn, what an annoying nearby intersection!!!
