More walking if this trail to finally complete this series, I arrived at GZ, where would this be and here is me hanging onto the cliff with my finger tips, oh it’s down there. Cache found and signing duties completed.
Today I decided to go for a walk in Waite Conservation Reserve to collect the caches in the area. Despite the hilly terrain 9km was covered.
Total of 20 caches for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Looked long and hard for WP1 but turned up nothing. Disappointing as I was hoping to complete this one on this leg of the Yurrebilla trail today, but guess I'll have to come back.
With all the delays in flights I had some spare time this morning. Well most of the morning so an early rise saw us deciding to attempt some more of this one from where we had left off on a previous trip. Back into the theme of the hides after a while and up and along the track. Some roos in the open areas and another solved puzzle along the way. Had to dodge a muggle at GZ and a good sized container at GZ. Signing duties complete and cache re hid. TFTC Went and collect the start of the next but that may take a while to finish.
This is one of those caches you put on your to do list not long after you start caching. Along with the others in the series. And from time to time there is an opportunity to progress a little. I have covered most of the Yurebilla trail now, but not in one piece or in one direction.
Today was a big eMTB day (with a fair bit of walking too especially on some of the stairs) and it included finally getting this one done and putting our name in the logbook.
One down and 3 to go.
TFTMC yet again Zytheran

A watershed day in the Adelaide hills for me, three months after dislocating my shoulder here, two months after Covid-19 restrictions first started and one month after being diagnosed with bursitis under my foot.
So I thought I might as well make it a good one: 27 kilometers, 1,000m elevation and 17 stops at caches and waypoints.
The two first big Yurrebilla multi caches were my big goal for today. I admit I did not find every waypoint along the way. Some places (Pony ridge) were incredibly busy with revelers and so I decided to give myself a 5 minute maximum search time, also to ensure I’d finish my trek before nightfall.
Finally at GZ, I immediately sized up the cliff in front of me and decided it had to be at the cliff face. I was a bit trepidatious getting up there as the rocks were quite crumbly and I was all by myself, so I was rather disappointed coming up empty handed. I decided to come down from my perilous position and widened the search. Luckily a SPOR was spotted and the name is now in the logbook.
Thanks for this unique series of multi caches, Zytheran

All waypoints and final have been checked and are present and correct ready for better weather.
Heading out to pick up a few finals that have sat on the radar but for some reason, I never got around to finding. Starting with Gridlock I parked as best I could and very quickly had the cache in hand; the log was signed and I was moving on. Then I was on to the Yurrebilla Trail to pick up the end of the first multi and another puzzle. It was a pleasant walk to ground zero, having been to the puzzle before I came up with nothing the first time, but I was determined to make the find. After about five minutes of searching I finally had the cache in hand. Feeling grateful, the log was signed and the cache was returned; then it was onto the multi. It was a pleasant walk the rest of the way, and after climbing some more dangerous terrain, I finally spotted a likely hiding spot. The cache was retrieved, the log was signed and I was on my way, finally glad to have these caches finally found.

A glorious winter day with blue skies about, so jesswrigley and I hatched a plan to walk a section of the Yurrebilla trail, and geocache along the way. We were organised enough to drop a vehicle off at either end, which would negate the need for us to backtrack along. An enjoyable section of the Waite Conservation Park, with awesome views of the city and hills surrounds. We will have to return as we've still left a few geocaches left around the place.
We ended up starting this one several months ago when we visited Belair National Park, with the first waypoint cache alluding us for some time. I thought it had been overcome to growth and fallen trees, but found it in the end in its camouflaged state. We then continued on to find a few more of the waypoints, before it had been left in a stagnant state.
Today, we resumed this journey, and a few waypoints alluded us, while others were quick-ish finds. Finally towards GZ, I thought it would take some time in finding the cache, but jesswrigley saw something that caught her eye, and turned out the cache was found. I dropped a TB here to have a rest. A great journey Zytheran, so thanks and appreciate the attention at laying this multi-cache out.
Also, there was a massive 879 days [2.4 years] of unfound love since its last find on 28/03/2017. Nice to have converted this one to a smiley.

Can anyone confirm the third cache is still there? I found the first two then got stuck...
AnyMules and I set out upon a little Mission. Start walking the Yurrebilla Trail and getting the caches along the way. Of course 'along the way' meant a few little detours away from the trail and back again.
Day 2: McElligott's Quarry to Eagle On The Hill. [^]
We made it. I had set reset the GPS odometer for the day 1 walk. Those few little detours to get caches meant we did 18.3 km. I then reset it for day 2 walk and so far it reads 10.52 to GZ. So 28.82 km means we did more than a few 'little detours' to get here. In fact managed to find 21 caches along the way and get some great pictures and travel over some very different and interesting trails.
The original trail looks like it went a lot closer to GZ than it does now. In typical geocacher style we followed the new trail until the needle pointed sideways and read less than 200 metres.
How hard could the direct route be. [B)]
Typical Zee territory. Followed a kangaroo track until we came to a large drop off. Circled around that to find another cliff. Back the other way to a steep creek gouging it's way through olive trees and finally down onto the track about thirty metres from GZ. [:0)]
I was wondering just how high I was about to climb when I saw a SPOR with a glimpse of metal.
Thanks Zytheran for another great adventure. We then followed the trail for as far as we could back up towards the trail.. until..you guessed it. Another detour for a cache.
Now for More Yurrebilla.

Now for More Yurrebilla.
It's taken almost two days of walking (with many, many, detours), but we finally made it to GZ.
It's been a great walk, and much longer than we originally planned.
We turned the apron 15km walk in to close to 25 with all the detours.
Great to have done this first part. Now to work on planning the next bits.
Thanks for the cache Zytheran. Found on 28 Mar 2017 at 1:54 pm. Find #4379.

This one was a very enjoyable one to do while caching with earthlight and sneaky squeaky, we even managed to rescue a TB that had been in here for a while. TFTC

Found It!
I found WPs 1-4 yesterday and today I got the last 2 and made the walk into GZ. GZ is an interesting place and once again, I'm am left asking "How do you find these places?!"
So one Yurrebilla cache down, four(?) to go...

Had to do this over a couple days because of pretty lousy weather, was excited when I saw how long this was and even more excited when I found you really can't park close and it forces people to get out and about. Loved this from start to finish and only cut myself once! That's pretty impressive for me.
Finally after starting this one almost five years ago I've managed to get to the final. Now it hasn't taken me five years to walk this section of the Yurrebilla, rather I've been doing it in stages, grabbing waypoints while in the area.
I've been working on the four Yurrebilla multi's in parallel, and this is the first one I've finished. A great final location, and I had some luck and found the cache in the first place I looked - serious luck at this location.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Zytheran.

Out for a hike with a group and replacing any missing waypoints. All good now. However please bring tweezers for the waypoints.
A great day out walking with bek-theraccoon, Ride The GeoWalrus, redRONSO and Zytheran to help Z with a maintenance run. Dropped off TB. TFTC
Such a beautiful day for a hike :c) Tagged along with Zytheran (on a maintenance run), Ride The GeoWalrus, bek-theraccoon and jambochicken. Picked up a few traditional caches along the way and saw some amazing views across Adelaide and beyond. Dropped off a TB and a little gift for the next to find :cP TFTC Z! Looking forward to the next stage :c)
This cache series has been on the to-do list for around 6 years. I was originally supposed to join the group that hiked it back in January '09 (k8eus, justcameron, maygrape, racingstripes) but I had something on that weekend and couldn't make it. Been kicking myself about that ever since!
Anyway, determined to finally make a start, a group was assembled (incl. the C.O. for a maintenance run) and we took on this first cache. Several of the waypoints were replaced as we went and there were a few wpts surviving against the odds (I'm thinking of the one left without its lid for all that time).
Finally, to the cache - in perfect condition after all this time! The log was signed and one of the 'The Force' gamepieces happened to drop in too
TFTC Zytheran - a definite favourite

Found on a great day out hiking the first quarter of Yurrebilla in the company of bek-theraccoon, jambochicken, redRONSO and cache owner Zytheran who kindly joined us and performed maintenance on some missing waypoints.
This was one of the nicest walks I've ever been on, and some of the views were nothing short of spectacular. We were lucky to have a cool but clear day so the views were back-dropped by blue rather than grey.
Eventually, our journey came to an end after nearly fifteen kilometers of slow but steady travel with a stop at the cache in exceptional condition.
Thanks for a great day and TFTC Zytheran!

Made a "start" while nearby. Located wp1 a few metres west of coords.
Will return for the walk soon
Will return for the walk soon
Found wp1 after a bit of a search (that tree looks pretty dead now). Got to wp2 and after 15mins of searching all we'd found was an "adult toy" that someone had left out here...
Spent 30+ minutes looking at what appeared to be the obvious spot for WP2 but could find no trace of it.
Spent some time in the failing light looking for this one - found the dead tree & checked the bases of nearby live trees, but without luck. Will try again another day when there is more light.
A beautiful day to be out exploring, decided to start this while out bush walking with my bestie and the geokids - as I was with a previous finder we are pretty sure WP1 is MIA - thanks anyway

...oh dear, can't even find WP1...
Sat lock kept jumping around.
Looking at scraggly trees and burnt out stumps - none of which look overly promising.
Fence line seems too far from WP1 coords...

I thought that I would do this one again as I started it a few years ago and lost the clues to be able to finish. Trouble is I couldn't even find WP1. Now I do know I found it once before so I am logging this as a DNF for the record.

Found most of the waypoints during several walks in the area (over an extended period of time, I might add!). Details of one of the missing waypoints (since replaced) were kindly donated by a kindly hiking companion, enabling a scramble back up the hill today to search for the cache. I was a bit unsure at first that even then I had the right spot, but after a nice stroll along a quiet track and a short search, the cache was found in a likely Z-location. Thanks for the exercise Zytheran!
After a disappointing DNF on this cache a week ago we returned for a second look today. We hiked back up to WP6 and found the start of the right track even though it was barely visable from the main path. We were still unsure about one of the numbers, but hey, that meant that there were only 10 possible locations that we had to check!
Found a very 'Z' sort of spot that contained one of the possibilities and after a bit of a search found what we had came for! A satisfying end to a great cache! Managed to find a bit of a short cut up to the main trail to find WP1 of 'More Yurrebilla' - our goal for today.

We set out today to walk this first section of the trail. (Having done 'Even More Yurrebilla' a few years ago, we have wanted to do the other sections). Parked the car near where we expected the end point to be and caught the train to the start.
Things started to unravel at this point as we searched for nearly 30 minutes and failed to find the first WP. Oh well, there were plenty of caches on the track and we had to get back to where we left the car. Sent an email to the owner and were grateful to get the heads up on one of the other WP's so we were back on track. All was going well - a lovely day for walking and we took the time to find other caches along the track.
Then we got to WP6 and discovered that we needed info from all the other waypoints - but we didn't find them all! Oh well, we had D,E and F and then figured that what we had from WP3 must have been C even though it was marked as I. The only numbers we were missing were the last one in both South and East so thought that we'd get close enough to be able to find the final. Went in from the top and the GPS led us to a very 'Z' sort of spot with countless possible hiding spots. Searched the area, to no avail. Searched some more, still no luck and as it was getting close to sunset, thought we should head back to the car.
Hang on, Pa Kettle realised that along with the coords Z had sent us to get us back on track was the numbers for A and B. Doh! Should be easy now! Went to GZ - found nothing! We began to think that the info we had picked up at WP3 may be wrong. Knowing that all the other numbers we had were correct, we started to methodically change that one number - only 10 possible locations, but with darkness decending we had to quit before we could check them all.
So, we were defeated today, but we'll be back to pick up the final, and continue on to 'More Yurrebilla'. Still, we had a great walk and found another 12 caches on route. In our books, that's caching at it's best.

Finally found WP3!
Progressed in leaps and bounds on this cache today, picking up waypoints three and four on a lovely night hike. Thanks (?) to Z for spacing the waypoints just close enough to tempt you on to the next one.
Spent ages at waypoint five and had just decided to give up when I thought "I'll just try that spot from a different angle." And lo and behold, we have a winner!
It really was an awesome walk. The night was beautiful, the roos were spooked, the trucks were jake braking and my phone was giving out those melancholy 'bloop' sounds that signal impending doom for the geocacher.
Like others I'd left behind the clues from waypoint one and two but decided to jetski it anyway. I think it was just after midnight when I thought to myself "I have a flat phone, it's the middle of the night in overgrown bushland and I'm 3m up an unstable scree slope with a cliff. Alone. This. is. not. wise."
At least I have the final coords and the confidence that a non-sockpuppet account has found the cache recently. I shall return!
Thanks Z.

[red]NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOoooooo!!!!![/red]
Not having today's logs, Mr Tardis was in the area of WP3 and rode to the foot of the hill and walked up in the late afternoon. I spent 30 minutes searching in great detail looking for some cunning hide. Left feeling defeated.
Well as some consulation at least I hadn't missed it, and I managed to burn off some of the chips and chocolate consumed at lunch time . Looking forward to its replacement so I can continue my very slow piecemeal attempt at the first Yurrebilla cache.

I noticed Trigg-A-Nomics was stuck at WP3 so thought I'd go investigate this morning, as I happened to be just up the road hunting a newly published cache anyway. Clambered back up the slope...this clay gets awfully slippery on a dewy morning like this one.
In any case, unless Z has changed the waypoint since December, I can confirm that this one is no longer in its proper place. Will need some owner attention!

What a saga! Started this one some time last year, and finally got around to getting to GZ this morning.
I must have found the old WP1 initially, because after a fruitless search for WP2, I was directed by the owner to a point 150m away from my coords! Presumably to the new WP2, but couldn't find it there either. This one went on the backburner until Tiger Muffin managed to dig up the old WP2 container, and the game was once more afoot!
Approached WP3 from the bottom, racing a huge thunderstorm up the hill. I used to ride down this part of the track to get to school as a kid. They never had the zig-zag at the bottom in those days though - it was just one big steep slope down the hill, which turned to red mud if it had been raining. The teachers were less than impressed by the state of my pants on one particular occasion.
WP4 was found a day or two later with the sun shining once more. I cache via the sat imagery rather than compass and distance to GZ, as my phone GPSr is notoriously inaccurate, so these bush caches can be a bit of a chore! Then on to the back burner once again, waiting for a chance to go for WP5.
Today was that chance. Parked the car down the bottom of Waite and worked my way up to WP5. Thunderclouds were in the air, but decided to push on to WP6 all the same. Wasn't sure whether or not I was on the Yurrebilla or not, but worked my way up to the ridge and along. After a quick find at WP6 I realised I'd lost the value for "A". Whoops. Took a guess; I knew I'd only be out by a few metres either way. Found the trail - but it seemed to head back towards town so I forged my own. Bad move. Ended up taking a very roundabout way down towards GZ from above (at least what I presumed to be GZ!), adding an extra terrain star or two in the process! A call to T_M confirmed I was probably in the right spot, so down I went - and was rewarded with a cache for my efforts. Was suitably chastened to discover the path back out was much simpler, and more direct than my trailblazing had been. Ah well. Live and learn!
Thanks for the experience Z - on to More!

Gah!
This is slowly but surely becoming my nemesis cache. Another DNF on the third waypoint after checking all the locations as described by the cache owner.

Odd, the first waypoint I found led me to the old 2nd waypoint which was found half buried on the ground after being lost/moved a few years ago.
This means there are 2 slightly different starting points, same coord, slightly different location, 2 2nd waypoints which both lead to WP3.
Anyway all good to go.

Well, that was an adventure. End-to-end in 2 days!! Top of the hill, into the gully, up the hill, down the hill, along the road, up the hill, down the hill, up the hill (again) and across the ridge into the gully to find an ammo can. Awesome!!
After bumping into WP6 by accident while eyeing off a cache hide I checked the cache page and immediately recognised the location of a couple of Astro's photos. Went for a recon walk to no avail. After making the find today established that I had pretty much walked over the top of the cache in my trek. Anyway, that's the START done and MORE is yet to come. TFTC Z-man.

WP1, 2, 3 and 4 all sorted today. Just need to get into the park behind work and grab #5 and #6. Already eye-balled #6 (bumped into it by accident while trying to find a spot for my own cache; BUGGER!) and have a vague idea of the whereabouts of the final. Reconned the track the other day and it is very overgrown; a track less travelled. Plan to tidy this up before week's end.
Still stumped by WP2 on this one! Found the spot in Z's photo from back in August (which seems to be more than 100m from the coordinates found in WP1?!) but a couple of searches have brought me no joy. Better luck next time perhaps!
DNF'd again! Found waypoint b this time but came unstuck at the very next waypoint, c. Phoned a friend for moral support and their hazy memory suggested it was gone.
I went back and looked again and a phone call to the owner confirmed that it was missing.

We should have got up earlier and spent the whole day here.
First day of winter and it was a beautiful day.
We enjoyed just walking and seeing all the bird life. Even
seen our first koala in the wild.
We will have to go back and find the other caches.
Maybe when geohubby is feeling a lot better.

Having gathered the first three waypoints over the last couple of months, we decided to make use of the fine weather for a change and scratch this one off the list. Only three waypoints and a final, how hard could it be? With a bigger Sir Maxy to carry, and huge amounts of muggles in the hills, it was lots! A finger-slip by Mr O resulted in us being .100 too far south of the cache with some pretty heavy terrain in between. A lengthy detour back to the correct track (which was accurately marked on our maps), a relatively short walk and the ammo tin was found. Poor Sir Maxy couldn't quite make the distance; he fell asleep 10 minutes from the cache! The third one down in the series, and a thoroughly day to finish it off. TFTC Z.
I didn't do the first few parts of this big cache with my Dad. But I was in the Maxypack for the last ones! Those little containers are so small I think I could get one in my mouth if I tried. I didn't get to see the last one because I was sound asleep just before we got to it. But Daddy took a photo to prove I visited. TFTC Mr Zytheran!
I set off with high hopes of a nice walk only to come undone at waypoint b. After 30 minutes of searching I asked myself "Where would I hide it?" and promptly found an empty nail. Hopefully I was looking at the wrong thing.
This absolutely fantastic cool start to summer means we could fit in even more hills walks in great weather instead of being restricted by stinking hot weather, love it.
We had found the first WP on this quite some time ago. As such, when we completed this today, we were unaware of the description and thought we may have had made an error for the final GZ. Nope, it really is there, a bit of a harsh ending for the stroll. After bush bashing through gullies and coming from the top, we finally found the cache. Took the more gentler, circuitous route out of there (no way we would have found that route on the way in).
Whoo, half of the Yurrebilla covered now, just the middle bits to go.

Find #79 and my first for the new decade. Finished this one, having started in September 09, finding the first two WPs. Found the 3rd WP in December, and the last ones today. Spent more time than all the others combined on WP4, but I didn’t want to go home empty handed so I just kept at it. Had my bum up in the air poking around when two hikers walked passed and queried what I looking for, although the tone in the voice would indicate they had an idea. GZ is a bit of a departure from the Yurrebilla trail, and I don’t think I took the easy route in, as the final 12 metres was a vertical drop. There’s probably a nice easy track leading right to it, but the undergrowth hid it well. But the weather was great, after the heat last week.
I’m doing the Yurrebilla Trail Caches in a bit of a strange order, as I’ve finished More, and Even More, and I’ve got a few of End. Just need WXZ and I’ve got all I need to finish Complete.
Took a red marble, left a plastic clapper, and dropped off Putaruru - Brid Bug Race 4 travel bug.
Thanks for the cache, and the trek, Mr Z.

After more than enough time, today was the day. The pain of the Crows loss yesterday was with me so what was a bit more pain [?] The walk was a delight. The flowers were doing their best to cheer me up. Hell, even the bad head was starting to feel sober.
Deep breaths and a keen eye had me almost enjoying the pain my legs were feeling. The rest breaks were just the right distance along. A couple of times I tried to guess where they would be. I got one right (well I stopped just when the GPS proximity alarm (less than 30m) sounded).
I did this in style. Unlike Nibsy who's note I read in the book (I think he had to walk back to his car) I was dropped off one end and had arranged to be picked up the other. Reading others logs does have its advantages. Thanx to AstroWes who did the running around [^]
Oh, and thanx to Mr Zee. The rest of the series is on my list for sure [^] [blue]Clear skies![/blue]
Accompanied by Everlasting. Great fun with the containers too. At 6th waypoint, we could not find it and we had to walk back to the car with our tails between our legs. Everlasting asked the owner for help. The next day we searched and searched again but still no luck. Luckily the owner gave us information for finding the final cache using the clues. We really enjoyed our walk through the bush. Took TB "World Wide Willy"
Thanks Zytheran for the cache.

Come back and search WP6 still cant find any thing - I am sure it was missing anyway thanks Zytheran for give me the information, then we went to GZ, Lava12 found it before me, We real enjoyed walk along to GZ. lovely bushland. SL. Thanks Zytheran for organising the cache and hunt.
Finally arrived waypoint 6 - search everywhere and helpline still no luck - with Lava12. Very disappointment due to we walk long way to reach WP6. Thanks. Zytheran.
Very well paced - every time I felt like calling a scroggin break, we were nice and close to a cache! Fantastic job there
It might have been easier if we weren't crazy enough to try the whole Yurrebilla with full packs on in the middle of summer... but we had a lot of fun! TFTC

Great cache mate, all those mini micros made for very convenient rest stops along the way and provided a goal to keep us going throughout the day, very satisfying to find that ammo box after a long days walking, TFTC
Found with Racing Stripes, K8eus and MayGrape while walking the Yurrebilla Trail over 3 days. This is the kind of nutty stuff Rover Scouts get up to. We camped out each night, at the Mt Lofty Youth Hostel and near Morialta. Although the Yurrebilla isn't that long, getting all the caches slowed us down a lot, and it was pretty warm
Thoroughly enjoyed the series so thanks very much for setting it! I knew about the path to the final location so the cache was easily found.

Found on our 3 day hike of the Yurebilla trail. Was great to have caches to keep our minds off the distance we were walking, thouroughly enjoyable, thanks Zytheran for the cache!
Put the effort in over two days, had to use a help line for one WP.
Four forms of transport were used in getting this cache - train, car, shanks pony and bicycle.
Thanks Z for a great couple of days walk through areas previously unvisited.
Picked up 'JACH' TB and left 'World Wide Willy' TB.

Of course we "frog-hopped" most of this cache. Collected each of the first five stages by auto travel. For the last stage we parked near to Y More. Collected stages E, F and G, with a later bonus of H. Beautiful walk this morning across some very pretty ridges. Final location is a special location. Super cache.
Well it has taken a couple of months but finally finished this one today. Must have missed Freddo. When I was getting close to GZ, I though surely it couldn't be down there but it was. It may get hot here soon as there is a pile of cut olives and pines ready to be fired 1 metre away. Took Gonzalos TB and left Firesafe pathtag
Starting last November we frog-hopped the first four stages and yesterday did waypoints five and six and bagged the FINAL!
Thanks to Zytheran for all his work in setting and maintaining this brilliant caching challenge, and in getting all the coords spot on! Thanks are also due to various Friends and others who maintain the Trail by cutting back olives, spraying aggressive weeds and carrying out other maintenance work.
How lucky are we Adeladians to have trails like this on our doorstep?
We are looking forward to making a start on More Yurrebilla soon.

Found at 15:40.
A great walk, although I did the first half in two parts a few months ago. Had someone drop me off today at Carrick Hill.
Didn't encounter any people until I came across 6 bike riders at the narrowest possible spot above Waite. Then, arriving at WP6 I find two people photographing each other at the big tree, which I thought pretty much guaranteed that was where the waypoint was hidden. They then left the tree and finished their coffee, where there waypoint was actually hidden. "Don't mind me, I'm looking for a tag", which they seemed to accept, but left quickly anyway.
I think I went the same way as Winterdragon, and found the cache easily enough. Left the Travel Bug Bell, and headed on along the path to the first waypoint of More Yurrebilla. Eventually calling to be picked up near Eagle on the Hill.
A lovely afternoon. It will be nice if I can convince others in the family to join me for the next leg.
Thanks Zytheran.

Started this one a couple of months ago, and decided that I'd better get back and finish it off. Turned out to be great weather for a walk . The coordinates for the final GZ looked a bit dubious on the map, and I had some trouble finding a path that led there... so finally just jumped the electric fence, and found a faint trail that delivered the goods. That's the last of the Yurebilla series done!
TNLN - Thanks Zytheran

WP4 now complete. Was going for WP5 but the signs didnt like Geodog there. Another day.
We really enjoyed the trek to the cache, what lovely views of the city! The Batgirls teamed up with Master Darko for this one and everything ran smoothly. TFTC TNLNSL
Damn fine day for a bush walk so I joint forces with The Batgirls! All the wp's were found quickly as coords were pretty good! No difficulties like on "More Yurrebilla"... lol
For a moment, at the GZ, we thought the cache was sitting under massive pile of freshly cut down trees. Needle pointed right towards the pile but turns out cache was fine on the other side. Good cover kept it safe out of muggles sight...
Thanks Z!

Found this cache with froghoppin and have since created my own team name and currently logging previous finds after discussions with other cachers at a recent event TFTC
Competed our walk today, found all wp,s quickly as well as some caches nearby, interesting track to final cache, well hidden. Enjoyed the trail and will start the next leg soon.

Started walking this track today and did points 1 to 3 as well as some other caches nearby, waypoint 3 was in plain view on the ground, hooked up wire tracer near obvious point and used a bit of camo to avoid muggles souveneiring. Be back to finish this one soon.
I'm wondering whether membership is open to Skippys 'Dumb & Dumber' club.
We had got the 1st 3 or 4 points agaes ago, and then when going up the freeway, and had overheating probs(sis's moving day). Decided to pull over as close to the next point as I could(2km) and go for a walk whilst car cooled down.
Well, what I thought may take 30-45 mins turned into much longer. Forgot to grab water to take, which was boiling by time I got back to car, which was now sitting in 38C full sun!
Anyways, eventually got the 2 points I needed to lead me to gz... I think I left the most major effort in getting back to the trail. What track? I think I followed Nibs path but uphill!
Managed to get the 1st point for the next one on way to this one, just as well too...
Overall a great walk... Not so good on a day like today though.
TNLNSL
Thanks
Thanks Nibs too, for the helpline at last micro, as wasn't walking away without this one today!!!

Came down here whilst nearby, thinking I'd just check out where the next waypoint was. Before I found it though, the dog had walked into a prickle patch, and came barking and limping up to me. You'd think she'd been bitten by a snake, the way she was carrying on.
Wasn't intending to start this today, as was heading to grab a FTF on a new nearby one of Mtbikeroz...
But the start bobbed up, so 'went for it', but with Nibs words still fresh, I was only 'sucked' into doing the 1st 3 points... before heading off to the nearby newie.
If I tell a finder the colour of the 3rd point, could I please have the clue? Pwease. In my hurry to get back to the car I didn't grab it! I really don't want to go back to that one, as I was given the 3rd degree as to why I was parked on a Private Road.... Whoops... followers take note that the gate can be closed AND LOCKED at anytime according to the resident nearby... Or you may just get shot, as it leads to a rifle range...
PS... managed the 4th point on way to work tonight too...

It's difficult to get locked in if walking...
BTW, although the trail is free access for foot traffic, the closest roads to it may well be private driveways. Didn't know about the rifle range though..

Having done the walk in a couple of stages (so that the walk back to the car wasn't too... long, today was the chance to finally approach GZ. Had to take a slightly different route to get there as a short section of the trail was closed today for slashing but eventually found my way to GZ. Was a little surprised to find that the last 20m were all vertical so much for shortcuts!
Swapped geocoins and left a key wallet as thanks for a nice walking cache. I look forward to the next [^]
