As this cache has been out of action for too long and the non-active cache owner has not performed any maintenance, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to un-archive it.

We only had a quick look around, but regardless, no such luck. We did however find a pencil that looked like it could have once belonged to a cacher or inside a cache container!
After finding another cache nearby, decided to give this a go. Searched for about 15 mins before giving up. Strange how we struggle with the easier difficulty caches. Another reserve I have never been to.
First time, nice to try and explore a new spot but couldnt find the cache, will try some others
Found this one pretty easily. GPS was at first pointing me towards the other side, so I looked there. It settled, and yay, other side, the one that seemed likely!
Sure enough, cache was there, and quickly spotted too. You just need to have a really good poke around ae, as it is pretty well hidden!
Dropped off a TB.
TFTC!!

Amazing just how many not-well known little parks and reserves exist in the Auckland area!

Wow! I would have never have known that there was a small park hidden here. This is one of the cool things about geocaching is that it can take you places that you would never typically go to. Anyway this was a quick and easy find with the camo blending in nicely. TFTC.
I love these hidden neighbourhood parks. I think without the cache here, I would never have noticed this parklet. Thanks for pointing it out and for the cache!
Found it after exploring the environs including an old tyre.
Swapped the dinosaur.

Wow! What a delightful little reserve. My 2 year old grandson loved to climb and explore in the nearby trees. Very pleasant.
Nice quick find. Shame i smashed the cell phone about 50m down the road from this one.
Good to be able to get this one as it completes my alphabet for the A-Z challenge down in the Kapiti Coast. TFTC
11.10am. Managed to find a park very close to the cache.
Made a quick dash and grab, cache was soon in hand.
Funny these small pieces of bush that don't seem well maintained by the council, could service the locals a lot better than they do.

My third and final cache find for the day, way away from home...I must get out more!!! TNLNSL, TFTC
Quick find here in a little reserve we would have never knew existed had it not been for a cache. Cache was slightly exposed so covered it up better with some natural camo before leaving. TFTC!
Easy find in an out-of-the-way reserve, that I never knew existed. Dropped a trackable. TFTC.
First cache for a while since getting back to NZ... Just around the corner from my temporary accommodation... Nice easy find

A drive by cache on the way to some other caches around the area - the hardest part was locating the tiny, blink and you miss it reserve, with in car navigation sometimes being the Kiwifruits achilles heal. The "cache whisperer" was 2 for 2 at this point in the day and I am beginning to think my role is photographer and logger.

No trouble with the parking, just a little muddy. Quickly spotted the likely spot and the cache was soon in hand. Logbook was wet, though I could still sign it. Looks like the area has been pruned extensively. Good to see the cache survived. Cheers for the smiley!
GPS kept sending me to different copses of trees, but I should have just trusted my instincts and the search would have been a bit faster. Great spot for a cache and my daughter and I enjoyed it! We took a little page of stickers and left a glass marbled bead (for lack of a better description). TFTC and on to the next!

An easy cache to find with a muggle relative. The apples on the tree nearby were tasty too. I covered the cache up a bit as it was showing when I got there.
GPS location was dead on, but based on comments here I didn't trust it.
Took smiley face magnet, peg, butterfly.
Added green fish, dinosaur charm, now White figurine

Thanks Uncle Brian. A nice straight forward find in an area I have previously explored.
Dropped a friend to the airport this morning and had some time before work, let's do a cache - no one around early in the morning. A quick find, the GPS was spot on for me.

Initially started looking in the wrong area as the gps was playing tricks on us, but found it eventually. TFTC
Quick find once I started to look where it might be hidden rather than where my GPS was saying it should be.
nice and quick find while out with snakelion, had dropped by last week but got wet and gave up before the rain got worse - much more enjoyable in the sun. TFTC
An easy find with evilno9. Nice way to enjoy the spring sun, while hunting for this little treasure.

Finally got back to this one after driving passed a couple of times. Interesting little spot. Did some swaps - took small dice and xmas decoration, left butterfly and smiley - and managed to squeeze in a couple of TBs from Hamilton gardens last weekend. TFTC
Our first cache find for the day on Queen's birthday long weekend. Nice wee spot in a nice week hide. TFTC.
Ooops, briefly mistook next door garden for reserve - a wee hidden gem! Lovely to be out for an afternoon's caching with the 'team' and KnK had this in hand nicely. TFTC!
Who would of thought a reserve was hidden away in there. Thanks for brining us here. Thanks for the adventure! TFTC.
Nice stop in a bird filled neighbourhood park.
KnK made the find. Thanx for the stop.
Sorry for delay in logging! Life gets in the way of my caching sometimes.

Wow! Big Cacher says he walked past this reserve every day when at High School 30 years ago and never saw it once! TFTC
unusual spot with clue that didnt relate to much but after a bit of a hunt around it was found by dad.
An easy find - for my wife, that is. She made sense of the clue while I was still staring at the undergrowth!
Found as part of my three week caching trip from Wellington to Auckland - # 957. Thanks.
Nice wee researve....took GC...TFTC

Quick stop on the lovely hills. I let mum and the kids find this one and Zachary 5 came up with the find.
