With H&C District Scouts Envirnment Day. Good chance to Geocache. With GeoIan
After walking up the hill very quickly found the cache and set off around the park. Warning: mozzies will get you if you stand still!
I came across from March Land, so the hardest part was crossing the road! A quick find, thanks.
Quick find at the end of the day. Found with WebbyHRT Tftc, took expired petrol discount voucher
Tftc. Cache came with a bonus spider that I can only describe as Monstrous. Found with Kano555
Nice little zoo, our first cache in Australia, more than 16.000 km from home TFTC and best regards, team AR2147, Germany.

Found in the afternoon had come to the park with our son his girlfriend and many of her family - so went for a walk after lunch and this was on our path - a quick find on a beautiful sunny day. TFTC
We stayed the night nearby to this one and walked over with the kids in the morning- what an absolutely fantastic spot! Well worth a visit with the kids- or even big kids! TFTC!
Found it straight away. Cache was visable from the path so covered it up a bit for the next finder. TFTC
Yes it had been muggled , have placed a new cache there with a new logbook.
It has become very open there so may have to move it

The site we found looked the likely spot for the cache, but alas no cache found. Will go back and search again if someone logs it 'found'.
Top Hiding spot! Thanks for the great cache!

An easy find with with all the muggles about on this holiday Sunday. Was far enough away from the throng to seek out and sign.
Came here many years ago to get advice from Mr Raisbeck on fostering a Joey, Bindy, which we raised at home until the Raisbecks found a park home for him to go to.

what a beautiful place blackbutt reserve is, thanks for taking me back there to find this nice cache.
After a little wandering around Myself, Thomas (4) and Lauchie (3) found our first cache. Thanks guys!
A quick cache with the kids after trying to get them to pat a Koala.
Took the muggle grandmother along for this one, and although she was impressed at finding something hiding in the wild, she was almost carried away by the mozzies here.
Took nothing (hardly any swag in there) left pathtag.

Blackbutt full of people today with the nice weather...had to wait for some muggles to go past before making the grab. TFTC
Being a koala cache I started looking in the trees - nope, nothing furry up there. Eventually found the cache in good order, thanks!
Easy find. didn't see the Koaleas because it was closed. Dropped off a TB. TFTC
Quick find right on dusk. Only difficulty was being eaten by huge mozzies.

Great location for a morning stroll. I need to remember to come back another day.
Luckily the area was quiet so we were able to find and sign the cache quickly. A nice hide. TFTC
A quick stroll to GZ and the hide was spotted on the approach. We grabbed the Geocoin before moving on. The rain menat the area was very quiet today which made for easy caching. TFTC ibar29. [931]
It's not really anywhere near where the Koala Encounters are. But we found it anyways. Left a coin.
P.S. Make sure you do the Koala Encounter!!!! It's awesome!!

Reperio at 1705. Wow! What a great spot. Parked 100m away and quickly made my way to GZ where the cache was found immediately. Came back to the car and had a quick look around, and will definitely be coming back here to really explore the area.
Gratias.

The Blightsters had a great adventure today finding your cache.swapped crystal bookmark with squeaky whistles. 4 and 2 ur old thought they err great!
With all the kids we needed two cars to get up here. But it was a perfect experience for one of our last days in Australia. The wombat was outside and finally we saw him walking around! The Koala's were very cute also. TFTC!
GPS had it in for us and decided to steer me straight past cache and into a thornbush.
Once I extricated myself from the bush, we regrouped on the path and had the CIH pretty quickly.
After that, it was a quick sign of the log, and a sprint back to the car to avoid the mozzies.
TNLN TFTC!

We put a new log book in the cache today but we had forgotten that the original cache container had gone missing and had been replaced with a much smaller one. Since our time in Newcastle was very limited we did not have time to get a log book of a suitable size for the cache. So now the cache is full - containing a bent log book that is really too big for it. Maybe another geocacher might be able to replace the log book with something more suitable?
We were pleased and surprised to find that the cache was exactly where it had been placed three years ago. Normally we expect there to be noticable "cache creep" but it hasn't happened with this cache.
Unfortunately, due to ill health, we will have to consider archiving this cache as it will not be possible for us to maintain it any longer.
If there is a Newcastle geocacher interested in adopting the cache we would love to hear from you.
We had the grandchildren with us today and they exchanged a toy with one in the cache.
Oh! And don't forget the mosquito repellant when visiting this cache. We were nearly carried away by the mozzies today!

GPS was giving us some bad info and had us about 5 meters further into the bush then we needed to be, in the middle of a bunch of thorns and spider webs. About to give up when we found it, feeling pretty dumb about it.

Found while visiting black butt with friends. We took them for there first cache. TFTC!
A good find on our Boxing Day run. We stopped off for morning tea, (triple coffee and Xmas cake), in the park then went for a stroll to GZ. We found the cache quickly and REPLACED it a little less out in the open where we found it. Enjoyed the area. We didn't visit the Koala cage...too busy geocaching today. TFTC SL.

We were out hunting with Big Matt & Shell and Cashman. What a great location!!!! Mini Burners loved it, ran wild and had a few close encounters. Who would've thought all that was hidden in there. As for the cache, Shell made a quick expert find TFTC.
