Found this last month but didn't have a pen with me at the time, so am logging now with permission from the CO.
FITW Gernita, Gorby, Merlot, Rustynz, Pazzabella and Jag50.
A quick find after the event.
A quick find after the event.
Found this after our Anawhata Event, Pre-Mega Warm up . it was the start to a thoroughly enjoyable tramp. tftc
Having just picked up Rusty's nearby multi with Gorby it seemed silly not to come down to the car park and grab this. Gorby thought it would be a quick park and grab, well it was really, it was just another 100m walk down the track
Came out here today as had the day off and we had not done these and also a new cache we were hoping to be FTF. Nice View.
Out and about with merlot58 this early afternoon, was hoping for a possible FTF on the multi by rusty, but were well beaten early this morning by Jag50. Never mind, a very pleasant walk to the multi was had then we came here just because we could!
Decided I needed to visit a West Coast Beach, and this one seemed to be calling me
The gravel road was a surprise, and it was longer than I thought, but what a view!
Beach is stunning today, when I was about to leave I spotted a family dropping down onto the beach, time to leave. Got to watch a seal sunning itself on the sands. Beautiful day, quick find. The lid is cracked, but no problems as the contents are dry. Thanks for the hide.

I woke up early in the morning due to the time change and drove up to the Parnell market for some food and coffee to get the day started. During the wait, I checked the weather and decided to a drive out to Anawhata. Quick find on my way down to the beach. TFTC
We had come out to Anawhata this afternoon to do the Holey Tombolo earthcache, but were turned back by a higher than expected tide and large waves. On our way back up the hill we stopped here to admire the view. Thanks.
TFTC!
Unfortunately the lid of the container is split and water is leaking in, the little fish was having a nice swim though! New container/lid needed

Great weather for a hike. Started from North Piha, went up to Te Waha Point, down to Whites Beach then up to Fishermans Rock Point where I went up to the top of Fishermans Rock.
I then made my way over to Anawhata along the coast, admiring Keyhole Rock along the way, unfortunately the tide wasn't out so couldn't walk over to it.
I then made my way over to Cannibal's Bowl which was quite an adventure in itself and then returned to North Piha.
The hike up from Anawhata was a goody, I had some muggles following close behind so let them pass while I lingered back a bit to take in the view of Anawhata. TFTC.

Found it during my trip from south of South Island to north of South Island.

After a short walk in the Waitak's this morning, I decided to continue out to Anawhata - a place I have never been before! A quick find at GZ and a lovely view too! TFTC!
What a lovely view. Thank you for putting this cache there and make us stop to appreciate amazing view. It is in need of some new camouflage.
Quickly got this while in the area. Covered it up a bit better to how I found it. Good spot with a view.
Quick find on the way back from the cairn cache just down the road. Staying the night at Keddle House, the ARC batch at the end of the road. I have to say that place is STUNNING. A beautiful old house, with some pretty amazing history and with a large sun room overlooking what has to be one of the best views from a batch I have seen.
Great fun exploring a new area for us - TFTC.

Thought I might have to forego this as could not get details up on app, but clue and name was sufficient, absolutely stunning views. Nice way to spend Waitangi Day tftc. Cammo at bit loose.
If you are considering another one on track it could be called Ana whata hill!

First find as I made my way down the hill to the beach for a look. Neat spot. Thanks.
Had a great day down at the beach with girls. Used this as a motivator to get back up the hill. Worked well with a little help from a chocolate bar! TFTC
Had been down the other side, up the Anawhata stream, and then for part 2 of the day, headed down to the beach. Past this one on the way down, so would have been rude to leave it sitting there. Quick find with a few of us looking. TFTC.
After hitting Anawhata Stream with the crew, we made our way down to the beach collecting this cache on the way past. Awesome views from GZ - a great spot for a cache!! TFTC FMZ!
the sunset on anawhatea beach was ready for filming - found this cache by onset of darkness on the way back to the carpark

I intended to get this one on the way back up from the beach, but ended up doing a loop with a return from the top. Instead, I had to walk partway down the hill again. All is good at GZ with the cache. Cheers for the cache.
off for a days explore of the Anawhata valley, good way go get hiking kick started for the year. A quick find at the start of the hike before we set in to the down hill;-)
Awesome view - might have been better if I was not out of puff at the time Easy find on FTF hunt with CO. TFTC
Walking up to the carpark from awesome beach visit, stopped for this one and made a quick find. Wonderful place this one for the views.

Tried to leave a geocoin but it wouldnt fit. Oh well, the next cache I guess. What an amazing place! TFTC!
After grabbing a FTF at the Wild Wild West and "enjoying" the steepness of the climb back up it made sense to drop in on the way back to the car for a hunt around.
Soon found what I was after and enjoyed the couple of minutes rest before heading back to the car. Great spot to come on a day off

Mrs B and I rented the nearby Keddle House at the bottome of the gravel road for a couple of days R&R. Never been out this way before and it was such a nice surprise. What a great spot. after a night of music and wine I hauled my self up the hill after an aBC to make the grab. Had to head back to town for a meetng so raided the cupboard and now have a bison tube for tomorrows walk and the beach and will be looking for a spot to place a new cache. TFTC and a fav from me
A happy find at the end of the day. what a stunning beach! on the way down forgot about the cache as i was too excited. the trek back up made worth while. dropped of movers geocoin and took blue dice. TFTC
An afternoon at the beach was perfect to find this cache along the trek to the isolated beach.
We were on a roll after the Micro cache. Stopped at the carpark, admired the views and brewed up some noodles and coffee...yum
Made a quick find and then back on the road again.

Decided on a detour down this long and dusty road but so glad we did as the views are outstanding. So busy taking photos we nearly forgot about the cache . Thanks for sharing this spot T4TC.
13:24 - Well a bit of a Funky Cache today, haven't been here since I tacked "Whats on the Menu", so good to return.
This cache was a much easier find and walk that Naviguls cache, great views from GZ. Time to head inland now for some lunch.
Thanks for the cache!
Logged in a TB for the mileage.

One of those magic locations that I would probably never know existed unless I was brought here. Great spot, TFTC

Out with Smiley Kylie and the fur kids. Easy find. Great time at "our" beach - had it all to ourselves apart from one lone, very brave surfer. TFTC. TNLNSL.
Out with the Kiwi Whanau Clan and Husband 1 to enjoy having the entire beach to ourselves on an admitedly chilly summer afternoon. +Geocoin -Keyring. Planning our next excursion to knock off the other slightly less accessible caches accessed from this great spot.
There's been a fire through the bush, since I was last here. Always a great place to visit.

Easy find on our way back to the car after finding "What is on the menu?". While Rumo was taking picture after picture of the sunset, Rala quickly grabbed the cache. Great spot, this is - especially on a day like this!

Absolutely cracking view, though as arriving late didn't make the walk to the beach. Next time aye. TFTC
Knocked off work early to stop the Auckland Caches getting out of control.
Weather gone really bad. Gusts of wind trying to blow car off the road. Quick grab and away. Tree down on way out but still just enough room to squeeze through.
Still great views.
Thanks for the cache
Cheers TT

Not much wave action today (at least seen from the view up here!), but still surfies gathering in the carpark. Nice to be back.
