Couldn't resist jumping out of the car to grab this one while I as nearby. After going down to Anawhata earlier, kinda glad I didn't have to go all the way down this track! Thanks.

29-Mar-13
Having spent the day, and a good 20km later exploring the area, as we were driving out, decided to make another attempt to find this one. Unlike last time, it was staring us in the face, and we were able to make a successful end to our anawhata trip. A sneaky hide this one, glad to get it ticked off. TFTC

29-Mar-13
Smile, pick some mussels on the way home.

29-Mar-13
Spent ages here last time and found nothing. Figured it was around and we'd just have to come back again and try another time. So after a 20km hike around the area we were looking for one more to do and unlike last time it was found in seconds... Bit damp but no bother, great spot and a great place to finish up out here. TFTC

29-Mar-13
Stopped and grabbed this one on our way home from our adventures in Anawhata for the day. Cache found on the ground so we replaced it back up where it should have been. TFTC! Big GrinBig Grin

I found this one on the ground. Signed the slightly damp, but still intact logbook and replaced it where I think it is supposed to live. Great view from up here. I did not venture down today. We'll save that for for later. Cheers for the cache.

08-Dec-12
Had a look for this one on our way down to the beach but couldn't find it - came back at the end of the day and still couldn't find it - had a previous finder with us who wasn't able to locate it either. Possible that we may have had FTF blindness on the way down but gave it a decent look anyway.

26-Aug-12
Grateful that it was not further down. Great view! Done this track a long time ago on a stinking hot day. Brings back memories.

23-Jun-12

a nice spot thanks

27-Nov-11
Found on the drive out to Anawhata. Parked above the cache but had to backtrack a bit to get to the pathway. Spent a fair time looking around and thought the hint would help but no cache to be seen. Was about to give it away as I could hear some people coming up from below when I saw the cache sitting in the grass. All in good order and it seemed to have been blown off its perch. Waited until the muggles were greeted and heading away before I replaced the cache in a fairly friendly spot that ties in with the hint for the next cacher that passes out this way. The track down the hill is now on my list of places to visit one day. TFTC

10-Nov-10
Quick, easy find in one of our favorite areas of the Waitakere Ranges. No pencil so we weren't able to sign the logbook as we failed to bring our own.

20-Apr-10
The size is listed as micro. Micro is in the title. If you don't like micros, WHY find it?

18-Apr-10

Decided on a detour down this road and glad we did as the views are spectacular. Amazing how many holiday homes are down those locked driveways! Quick find of the cache which is all nice and dry T4TC.

13:08 - What a great view from up here, after my walk to pick up my cache I didn't fancy tackling that hill, so didn't venture down to the beach. Will have to return one day.

Thanks for the cache!

19-Sep-09
Bit foggy/cloudy today so not much of a view, can imagine it is pretty nice though judging the view down the road. Easy find TFTC

Before heading back home from Anawhata, we stopped for this one. Rumo ran down to get some pictures of sleeping Piha (wasted effort without tripod), while Rala handled the cache. Quick find and some great views on a perfect Good Friday evening!

Yeah nice views, thanks for the cache FMZ

Cheers!

22-Feb-08
Knocked off work early to stop the Auckland Caches getting out of control.
Weather gone really bad. Gusts of wind trying to blow car off the road. Quick grab and away. Tree down on way out but still just enough room to squeeze through.
Still great views.
Thanks for the cache
Cheers TT

10-Feb-08
Great views of Piha dispite all the mist and humidity - worth coming back for another Anawhata cache. Found the cache just hanging around Wink. I carried on down to Whites Beach as I haven't got there over land before. Man, what a climb on the way back! - not sure which is easier, steep climb or dumping surf.
