Great clue and nicely hidden cache. Thanks Team Denmar - we have enjoyed out visit to Tumut and your caches.
How lucky can we be ?
An unplanned visit to Adelong and we arrive to find the main street closed and people everywhere. The street was closed for the Annual Adelong Markets. A very popular event with lots of interesting stalls and a great live band as well. So we stayed longer than expected but enjoyed our time here. I managed to retrieve the cache, sign the log at a nearby picnic table and return the cache to its hiding spot without alerting any muggles.
Thanks Team Denmar for the hunt and the markets.

We were right there but couldn't search as there was a guy carving rocks and other muggles around.
We found the cache on a beautiful summer morning. Adelong Creek has benefited from the recent rain and the gulley looks fresh and inviting and green grass is everywhere, we really found the cache at a magic time. We enjoyed exploring the park and enjoyed the sloping bench, my daughter now wants one just like that in our backyard. The coffee shop was not open and neither was the old pharmacy dining room that we once dined in many many years ago. Thanks Team Denmar for placing this cache in this beautiful park.

I don't believe it so many times I have tried to find this one but still a no find. Really getting frustrated with this one. Might have to ask someone that has found it before for some extra clues or is it my luck people are moving or removing this cache.
Had a couple of quick looks for this one but couldn't find it ..going back for another look this afternoon.. Fingers crossed, it'll be 3rd time lucky?
The cache was not in attendance when we visited. Enjoyed lunch in the park anyway.
this cache along with it's host has gone missing.the gold stamper will be installed at a new location
so will find another location for this cache close by. regards team denmar

Had two Kafffee already this morning, so missed out. But love this town, so will be back. TFTC
Great clue. Where we come from these things were common in previous years and parts can still be found in the local hills. Log very damp and moldy.
There was realy only one place it could be and even though there were a few muggles about we soon had it in hand and the log signed.
Thanks TEAM DENMAR

Easily found cache, and while enjoying a cup of coffee some Albury-based muggles commented on the Oz Mega flags on our car, so we introduced them to Geocaching with a live example!

Arrived mid afternoon and the whole town seemed to be relaxing in the sun. A beautiful little town full of history and probably full of dreams of making a fortune at the diggings. Found the cache after a bit of a search. Well done team Denmar.
A cheeky hide. Love these ones. Alas, too late for a coffee over the road. Was looking for a good one after my last purchase under the golden arches.

Sleepy little village and still had difficulty retrieving the cache. Had to go back for the hint so I didn't spend too much time loitering.

This one took longer to find than it should of. I must have looked at it 2 or 3 times before I actually saw it. Maybe talking on the phone at the same time didn't help.

There was a lady reading a newspaper and an elderly couple near by. This made the find rather difficult, but a bit a stealth action and the cache was signed and returned. Thanks for the the interesting info and find.
Time to head from Canberra back towards Adelaide through the mountains - wow look at all the caches.
Picked up around 30 today. Found in the dark. TFTC.

Two goes at this one due to very interested people on the veranda of the kaffeehaus across the road. Came back after a coffee and all clear, I hope I have put it in a dry spot. Thanks TEAM DENMAR

Found by Team Ladava around 16.15 with our Geocaching Mum & Dad baby&Mrs gopher with the drizzly starting to clear.
My, that bit of historic mining equipment would have made a racket when it was operating.
Time for a much needed coffee in the nearby park
TNLN
Our thanks to TEAM DENMAR for the cache and bringing us to this location.

Nice and easy find between muggles passing by. Geo-dad and geo-wife will fight over the winner of this find though.

Have looked 3 times since last find logged. No luck on any occasion. Maintenance required.
Third attempt on this one. I looked verywhere. I even put my hands into to dark spider hiding spots. I think this one has been mufggled and needs replacing.
Crawled all over this one, but couldnt find it (short of putting my hand in rusty, spider ridden holes). Understood clue, but still couldnt see it. Found half a broken key case cover, but cache is not supposed to be one of these.
I really liked this one and it wasn,t too hard to find. On our way to Wagga and caching along the way. TNLN SL Thanks Team Denmar. Silky Seekers Brisbane.
This was a great hide and we enjoyed finding it.
Didn't have time for a 'Kaffee' but hopefully next
time we pass thru.

Travelled through this town numerous times, but never really stopped. A few still about this Saturday afternoon, but GeoKid was in stealth mode for us!
Thanks Goethe cache. TNLN SL.
Thanks Goethe cache. TNLN SL.
Like others I had to walk away and think - only one logical place where the GPS was pointing - low and behold there it was.
#973 @ 9.10am. Sleepy hollow here and not many people were moving around this time on a Sunday morning so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Had no idea that Adelong had the history that it does so we really enjoyed our time in this town. TNLNSL TFTC Team Denmar - there were many, many micros today
almost didnt get it...spent ages looking, had to go back to the car sit in the aircon, and think again, then went back and put my hand on it straight away. i had even looked there before but completely missed it. but go it =)

We were on a high after just finding our 1000th cache, so we thought we may as well start on the next 1000 and see what other caches were in town.

Found this one a while ago, didn't realise I hadn't logged it until back in the area and realised that it was still in the GPS.
Have seen caches on these items before and the clue just gave it away for us today. A quick find in a nice looking park TFTC
We knew exactly where to look today - we just needed to wait out the passing muggles, then it was a nice quick find. TFTC
I'm amazed this one survived the floods! Great cache, and even better coffee! Must try one of the local ales next time I'm down this way...
We set out for a day's caching on motorbikes with Boyracer and Roostaman accompanied by Hinco and Hinklenator in the four wheel support vehicle. This one was the first of 19 for the day. As we were the only team that had not yet found this one the others watched while we made the find. Thanks TEAM DENMAR.
CACHE IS STILL IN PLACE. VERY SURPRISING CONSIDERING THE LEVEL OF THE FLOODS. TFTC
I just got sent this picture from a work collegue in Wagga, looks like the tide may be in at this cache! This is a photo of the GZ this week
checked cache was no where to be found.so has been replaced with a new
magnetic.please put container vertical when replacing as magnet gets a
stronger hold on the rusty surface. "Happy Caching"

Thanks for the stop over in a nice place. The clue made sense to me yet I could not find the prize. Thank you for the stop any how.
Disappointment on two fronts here - the Kaffeehaus wasn't open and the cache didn't appear. We thought we searched in the logical locations but there were three junior muggles clowning around so in the end we beat a retreat and will save this one for another day.
Cheers.

Ahh now the clue makes sense. Thanks for a nice cache in a nice little town. Really starting to like ur caches.
Well time to make myself a coffee while some locals were standing nearby talking. Soon as it was clear there was only one other spot to check and there it was. It was then back to the table to sign the log. Thanks.
Tftc Stamping good cache I'm glad it was about the 3rd one for the day, I was bushed
TFTC, really enjoyed finding this one. Hide gave me some cover as I filled out the log
3rd for the day on a sight seeing tour. Great little town with lots of points of interest. The bridges along the river being 3.
High muggle count atvthe cache but had in the end with out being spotted.
Thanks for the find.

All credit to the geowife who quickly managed to decipher the clue while I was still foundering. Interesting piece of history. TFTC
Quickly spotted the container upon arrival. Read the sign, signed the log and scooted on our way. Thanks!
