I went to restock the cache tonight and saw that it had unfortunately been muggled with the hiding place completely open. I knew word had passed around over time as I have had several students come up to me and tell me about it over the past year.
I am very fortunate to be able to visit Australia once a year for work and cache along the way. I really enjoyed these finds and seeing Oz like no ordinary visitor would be able to do. 83 total finds this trip covering 2300+ total klms. Missed it last year. This cool hide, gets a favorite point. NICE!TFTC
A magnificent cache - truly GENIUS!!!!!!

Thanks for taking us into such an interesting project / development. Even on such a hot day we really enjoyed looking at this. What a unique hiding spot - it was made for a cache! Loved the cache tin. The whole thing is really neat. Had some problems getting the tin to stay in placed whilst we replaced the "cache cover" but all was good in the end. Thoroughly enjoyed doing this cache. TY
Lovely park under construction and development. Would be great to spend some time there looking around. Loved the cache location. The clue lead us to the only possible place the cache could be but it did take a few minutes to spot where it could be. Then a few minutes to decided "should we". Glad we did because there it was neatly stached in its groove. Neat cache tin too. Very cute. TYF an interesting cache.
Well hidden,collected a PT to move elsewhere,tftc

The container is actually an old tea tin, which I thought suited the location. Plus it was originally hidden in a warmer place with a magnet, when I was testing the hide for Muggle interference.
Clever cache!
And the container itself is quite nice.
Swapped a trackable,
Thanks for the hunt, Crane2

Found this cache at 2:30pm while inLoxton for a display with our old cars at the Historic Museum and of course there is always some caching to do. The Villiage is one of the best we have seen. They had a lot of the exhibitions running for us. (Some 350people). So it was nice to go for a drive around the town., with this cache taking us to another historic place.
Simply loved the cammo.
Thanks Crane 2 for the hide.

This was our favourite cache for the weekend. Not only was it full of pathtags but the hide was great and in a lovely spot. Took 4 pathtags and swapped in 4 of ours.
Thanks crane2 for a great cache.
Thanks crane2 for a great cache.
a vital hiding piece was missing - easy to find. took blue bead - left metal badge
1417 Had us baffled for a bit and was dissappointing as there were no pathtags and nothing that would have resembled a fair trade for one. TFTC crane2

Virtual coin drop. Just dropping a coin into the nearest cache as part of a race. The coin is not in the actual cache so don't worry - it hasn't been stolen if you come for a look and it's not there. It is being posted onto the next recipient.
What a great hiding place... it took us over 10 minutes to find it at location!! We looked at rocks, fire places and all over the place. I recommend this one if you want a bit of a challenge!!!
Like others - worried about causing damage. Re - read hint and found the ingenious hide. TFTC

Eleventh cache of the day found @ 12:05 on the way to the Country Swimming Championships in Loxton for the weekend, and the chance to get a couple of cache's on the way through. Great hide. TNLNSL. TFTC.
This was my second cache find! This was a bit more tricky but eventually found it. Didn't leave or take anything.
Looked every where for this one and finally discovered the cache as couple of other people decided to check out the building so went and done another nearby cache and came back and had the place to my self. Great hide TFTC
This one was a cracker. McPhan had found thism one an earlier trip and spoke of it highly but refused to give any hints when we stared blankly at the general area of the hide. But find it we did and were suitably impressed. We were also impressed with the mulch in use on the plant beds here - looked like tiny black pebbles, but close inspection showed it to be grape pips, presumably a useful waste product from winemaking. Thanks Crane2.
Loved this site, the grape seeds on the gardens and the final location. It was a bit disturbing to be fiddling with bits of heritage though, so didn't hang around. Thanks crane2 for an interesting site.
What a cool and clever hiding spot. would never have found it if not for the additional hint... My wife's first find and she was so excited. She is now hooked onto geocaching. Thanks a lot for a fun time!!! Go Team Rangitane!!!
Find # 11 of 112 finds on our extra long weekend in the Riverland.
We were glad we did this one in the dark as when we finally found this clever little hide we felt like we were destroying our heritage rather than conserving it .

Found by Mary & David at 1520. Really enjoyed the wander through such interesting signs to read. Quite a large 'ruin' and great camo. Our thanks as usual to crane2.
Interesting site, and a clever hide. I was going to search over there until I read the hint.

once I read the clues again the cache was easy to find. thanx crane2. took fairy penguins pathtag and left dart badge. tftc.
#11 of 16 today. Found at 1330 after a pleasant walk through the area. Thank you for bringing us to this spot. The hiding place seemed to be the only option after a quick survey of the alternatives - but could it really be there? And pathtags! So I took one and left one.
Really love this one. Enjoyed the site, reading the texts and especially the hiding spot. Don"t think I would"ve found it without a bit of help. Thanks to "you know who" for the clue. In: Fairy Penguin Pathtag Out: Theresa Pathtag
A very nifty hide but I wonder if it's helping with the conserving bit so to speak. Not that the object in question is an original! Nearly quit on this one before Oenze spotted it.
Very nicely done. Thanks crane2

Interesting reading, and a nice history site. Good hide too, not one I personally found!
Thanks, Robmc.
Thanks, Robmc.
Gosh this was a cleverly hidden cache and only found after all other possibilities were explored.

Dale & GeoVons Geocaching Weekend! 18/27, 810km total.
Mt Barker, Sanderston, Sedan, Blanchetown, Renmark, Lameroo, Sherlock, Wynarka, Pallamana.
Read up on the history of the area and the Lutheran part to it as well. Heard the bells of St Peters in the background. We would've wandered over to join them but had to keep on truckin' to Lameroo. Kudos on the hiding spot, I take my hat off to you!

This one took a while to find but got it in the end just before the rain started. Good hide.
This was a very interesting spot and the gardens and surrounds are extremely well thought out, informative and pleasant. Took a while for me to find this and was only found with some help from my SO. I had tried the other parts but not that one of course.
Third of our ten finds for the day.
Signed the log, took pathtag and left a small dog.
Thank you Crane2 for the hunt
We were camping at Mootatunga and came for a drive to Loxton for a meal at the Loxton Club and to find some geocaches.

Had to have a second go at this one, we poked and prodded everywhere but there!! TFTC
We noticed this place flood lit the other night as we drove through and we were planning on coming back to have a look so when we realized that there was a cache here as well there was double the reason to return. We looked around for quite awhile expanding the search slightly with no luck, we couldn't even find any good places to hide a cache. We resorted to decoding the clue and the well hidden cache was found after a brief search.

Thanks once again Crane2, we really appreciate the effort gone into the cammo of this one

At the Riverland Rendezvous #2 Jardry introduced the Murray COD Awards (Caches Of Distinction). It was a great honour to win the COD for best traditional cache placed in 2008.
Poked around and got there in the end, embarassing for a cabinetmaker to admit to.
Dropped in on the way out of town to look at this in the day light dropped in our FTF path tag here because we got the FTF here. Picked up a gypsycacher tag in replacement, so that was a nice surprise

1730. One of the highlights of the trip so far. Really really well done. I took a while to locate the cache even after resorting to the clue. McPhanKid was suitably impressed as well. In fact I liked this one so much I took the log with me to the next cache and had to double back to return it. Sorry if anybody tried to log in the intervening time. For some reason I put it in my pocket with my lucky caching pen after I logged it.

I have restocked the cache once again with small swaps and pathtags. Just a reminder that one of the basic tenets of geocaching is that if you take something you should leave something. I have reworded the cache description with this reminder as well.
Rocky Glen Grommets really like clever hides and this is at the top of the list - not in the most obvious spots which we thought was great - well done crane2! Enjoyed this one - photos to follow!

Whilst on a long journey for a separate caching "mission" in South Australia today, this was a welcome quick find in the intense heat (45) - thanks crane2
The hide was very clever, and I appreciated the local history lesson - the locals have gone to quite a bit of trouble.

Found it after a not-so-short search. The hint was very helpful, but as we were getting ready to replace the cache, one of the elderly locals stopped by on her morning walk and decided to keep us talking for the next 15 minutes, thereby taking up more valuable caching time! Mr O'Cholio hid the cache in his pocket and replaced it as soon as she'd decided to continue her walk. Awesome spot. TFTC.
relatively quick find by the technically minded one in the pair. TNLN TFTC A lovely little spot. Wouldn't have minded stopping her for a cuppa.

What an interesting little park, and a great hide. Had to look for a while ‘till it was unearthed. Cheers.
What a great hide! It had us confuzzled for awhile but we found it in the end. We don't know how you did it but it was terrific. Thanks heaps!
What a great park, and a great hide! Left the GPS in the car, we won't need that, this will be easy, we'll find it in 2 seconds flat! Took quite a bit longer than that, but eventually the penny dropped! TNLN, TFTC
