Time to go. I was never happy with the location of the this replacement cache and as the initial location can't be used, I've decided to archive this cache.

Thank you Jardry for your cache.
We travelled across the country to be part of the fantastic Oz Mega Event held at Murray Bridge over Easter 2014, a great time was had by all. Now the Event is over and we have a little time left to gather in a few more finds before heading home to the West. Thanks to all. Big Grin

Arrived in Loxton today, set up camp beside the mighty Murray River. Its time enough to do a few local caches before we head down the Heroes Trail tomorrow.
We enjoyed our drive around the region. We have walked up the lookout before, today we only looked for the cache.
Thanks for placing this cache Jardry.

Found on our way back home after spending a few days in the Riverland. Enjoyed the scenic view of Berri, but regrettably didn't have time to do any other caches in the town besides this one. Thanks for the cache Jardry!

Sneaky spot. The "degrees" clue could trip some people up. Our initial coordinates were obviously incorrect when viewed on a map, but a quick rethink revealed our mistake. Took a little while to find the cache itself - well hidden! TFTC

The cache maker and I travelled from Queensland to find some caches and now we are on our way home.

Today is the first day we have seen kangaroos', even though we have seen evidence of them before now. We have come across a dozen beetles hiding in a cache, spiders hiding on top of a cache, and, snails hiding on the lid and under the camo of a cache. And we found caches.

thanks for the cache

22-Jun-13

Going the wrong way running around thinking we were in the right spot till Dazzatron came and pointed us and Laighside Legends in the right directions and we eventually had the cache in hand

Found It!
It pays to follow your GPS to GZ... That way you don't climb up the obvious thing and start searching around on top...

This was our 12th cache find in the caching run & we found it at 12:52
So this now makes our total find count 6491.

[blue]
A really quick park-n-grab today. The stick is a good idea, and hides the cache really well.
[/blue]
Coordinate Accuracy: Excellent (Around 2 metres)
Cache Condition: Container and log book are in good shape.
Took: Nothing.
Left: Nothing.
Thanks Jardry for the hunt today.

We'd had a go at this one before without any luck but this time it was a quick and easy find. Great view from the top, too. TFTC

23-Apr-13
I had the pleasure of the company of CPwanderer and DennisC52 for a caching trip to Mildura.
We saw lots of rain on our first day but then dry sunshine for the last two days.
We locus cache'd a few caches (121 finds and 13 DNFs) and all in all had a great time, especially on some of the state forest dirt roads! WinkCool
Yes, there were police involved (twice) Surprised but luckily no fines! Cool

Sadly, it was night time when we arrived and so we couldn't climb the tower and enjoy the view Sad
We did, however, greatly enjoy the view of the cache being retrieved from its hiding spot Big Grin
It is interesting how, despite doing many, many more caches that first cache find usually remains a strong memory Cool

TNLN. SL. TFTC Jardry Smile

23-Apr-13
Found the final GZ by torchlight with locuscache and Dennisc52. Locus had the AHA!!! moment!!

23-Apr-13
Found while on a 110 find caching trip to Mildura with locus_cache and CPwanderer. TFTC.

23-Mar-13
Final co-ordinates slightly adjusted to take into account new final location.
Clarified the maths required to calculate final location.
Geochecker updated with new co-ordinates.

22-Mar-13
Neat little hiding spot. The pink Floyd clue threw me way off tho

22-Mar-13
I have been reliably advised that the cache is no longer where it was placed and there has been some cache creep. Until such time as I can confirm the final co-ordinates and revise the listing details to confirm GZ I am disabling the listing so that geocachers are not being misled looking in a location where the cache is clearly no longer there!

Sorry for the inconvenience.

15-Mar-13
Can't work out what 'divide degrees means'

04-Mar-13
Found in a spot (censored) metres from calculated gz and not where the hint wanted us.

04-Mar-13
Found with Huurtle, after he did the required research on this one.

04-Mar-13
Solved this one years ago.
Finally got here today.
Met up with MoneyDork (he thinks he Aussie now! Smile ) after work, but with a muggle studying we didnt want to be caught out. So decided to come back later.
Met up much later, and having read some logs, it was obvious the hint is a misleader! IGNORE the hint.
Found about 5m from where calcs wanted us, and our names are now in the log.
Thanks

28-Feb-13
Checked and had the right corrected coordinates but had no luck finding cache. Tried all of the likely hidey holes with a negative result.

17-Feb-13
no couldn't find it

27-Dec-12
5936. [green]Went to the expected spot but the GPS pointed elsewhere and the elsewhere was where it was at - not that the clue suggested that.

On a previous trip across RexTrex insisted on calling this series gondo. Winglen and I had a good chuckle when the GPSr pronounced it the same way Big Grin[/green]

[blue]Thanks for the cache Jardry and the crack up. [/blue]

27-Dec-12
Solved this one from home before we headed off for the big trip west. Our coords were accurate, but the location doesn't match the clue, and found the cache cleverly propped up in its hide but in view. Returned a bit more deeply. Thanks Jardry.

22-Dec-12
Took me two attempts but I found it. Amazing how few caches it takes before I start to notice little things more

09-Dec-12
Had us a little confused at first. Went to the top came down, studied the description more closely and found the cache. Great views from the top and the cache is extremely well hidden. Thanks Jadry for the cache.

02-Oct-12
Couldn't work this one out initially, then found it had been revised Red Face.
Co-ords seemed a little bit out from where our GPS was leading us, but found the cache on widening our search Smile.
Went back to the car and found a replacement container [8].
TNLNSL.
Thanks again Jardry. Nice view from the lookout as well today Cool.

11-Sep-12
Nice walk on warm Spring day TFTC

Owner needs to replace container as it is UV damaged

06-Jun-12
We were able to solve this puzzl before we left Tassie. So the task on arrival in Berri was to track down the cache. We looked last night in the fading light but without success. Last night we rechecked the logs but didn't find any extra information. So we returned this morning and decided to widen our search area. After about 15 minutes, we finally located the cache in an interesting hide. Thanks for the puzzle Jardy and for the cache.

30-Apr-12
Thanks for persevering with the hide!

06-Apr-12
Easy find after a visit to the tower. TFTC.

14-Mar-12
Another cache site we are certain we have done before but not the one referenced in the cache notes as it was gone before we started. Maybe our minds are becoming fuddled with caches. Worked this one out last night and then had to do it again when we got there as I had entered it incorrectly and wanted us to be about 22,000 k's away. SL TFTC

#2344 Found on our last day in the Barmera area - we were making the most of our time and visiting places and caches along our route. This was a must do as we have a tendency to enjoy high things. After locating the sneaky cache we ran up to the top of the tower - fabulous views of the town and surrounding district. Our thanks to Jardry for the puzzle and placement. Cheers [^]

12-Jun-11
I'm glad that I worked it out a couple of days before our adventure, as I wasn't quite sure which number to use. Alas, the cache was easily located and photos galore were taken. Thank you. Thanks for one of many caches on our Riverland Caching Weekend with the Knippers.

12-Jun-11
Thanks to pirate rock sr for doing the maths on this one. We had a great time in the lookout though I think I deserve a bonus smiley for carrying the geobaby up all those steps. TFTC

Found on our Hay, Hell & beyond the Black Stump trip.
Solved the puzzle yesterday and made our way here on our tour around town.
The cache was safe in its hide and luckily there were no muggles around GZ today.
HAd a quick scoot up the tower for a look around and then off again.

Nice hide. Caught two cachers planting a replacement cache, however the original one was very close to the coordinates and in accordance with the hint. We were staying at a B&B right next door to this cache so it was an obvious one to do. TFTC. TNLN.

31-Dec-10
Another stop on the way to the '10 years and were still mad about the cache sam' event in the riverland [^]
Had a previous finder with me to help in the search this time!

Didn't find it.....lots of muggles...oh well better luck next time.

22-Aug-10
As I wandered around in circles upward, I wondered where the cache would be hiding Razz
At the top I took in the views and soon broke out the cache notes for guidance.
Puzzle eh !!
I wandered back down to ground level feeling berri good about finding the cache Smile
That wall is longer than it looks from above !!
And half way along it I found an empty Eclipse mints tin [:o]
Now I was worried !!
I resorted to the website to get the numbers I needed.
I poke and prodded without result Sad
Then I noticed tell tale marks on the stone.
Could it be that easy ?
It was like a scene from an Indiana Jones movie as I revealled the secret treasure Big Grin
TFTC.

There are 6 telephone numbers on the web page mentioned. It took a bit of time, and experimenting to figure out which was the correct phone number to work on. We got there eventually and the cache was in hand. TFTC TNLN SL

I wasn't planning on attempting this cache and hadn't work the final coords. While waiting for Jardry to arrive for the Riverland Rendevous Scavenger Hunt CITO event I spied a number and decided to give it a go on a nothing to lose principle.

Before I got a chance to try my luck Jardry showed up and insisted on a maintenance visit to the cache. All was good.

26th find for the day of 45. Number 42 of 61 for the trip. Caching with Quasar3671. Having watched the Leonids Meteor Shower from Lake Culluleraine, we moved on to SA for some interstate caching. Also part of our Tri-State caching run (Vic, NSW, SA). Very hot day around 43 to 44 deg C with lots of flies everywhere. After arriving at this cache, we realised that we had been there before, in 2002 on the way to see the total solar eclipse in SA. Stopped for a dinner break while driving. That was a fantastic trip, as is this one so far. Good clues and an easy find. Thanks for the cache and some memories.

18-Nov-09
26 for today for Blacklegend17 and I. We had been to this place back in 2002 for a break during another road trip. Used the clues to get the coordinates, made a lot easier due to the fact I had a new Iphone. TFTC.
