With muggle kids in the area today this one was over before it started.
Thanks anyway Jardry.
Thanks anyway Jardry.
Taking into account 3 DNF's on what should be an easy find, I'll archive the listing as it would appear to have been muggled.
Spent some time looking for this one until GeoNan read the last few logs and said that the last 3 lookers didn't find it so we gave up.
[red]Bah, second time and second DNF. Every else in the world finds it easily and McPhan solo and with McWinTrex is clueless. Why didn't I think to ask you at the event?????[/red]
Sigh! Another DNF for Team McWinTrex! Gave this area a thorough going over but failed to come up with the goods. The McPhan geocache-sensing crystals in the nose certainly didn't help us this time!
Find # 13 of 112 finds on our extra long weekend in the Riverland.
No muggles out and about in the middle of the night here.

Found by Mary & David at 1710. We tried this one earlier this afternoon, but were foiled by a muggle parked close by. Checked again a while later but he was still there. Now, at last, success. Dozens of ducks were grazing on the oval. Our thanks to Jardry once again.
Travel Day for GC1TJ3B - Let's Raid the Food Bowl and the chance to grab a few caches on the way
Nearly a drive by but couldnt quite reach it - an influx of muggles as I was about to put it back meant a little wait. TFTC.

Find # 2901 and 46th on our trip to the riverlands at 12:14 pm. Accompanied by Feathertop, Robmc and Chewinprickles. Easy drive-by, TNLN, left my mark in the log, Thanx Jardy....
Another footy ground! As feathertop said, thursday is a good day to be here.
Grabbed, signed, and scarpered.
Thanks, Robmc.

Thanks, Robmc.
Another quick find and parked the car strategically to ward off muggles. None to be seen anyway.
Thanks again Jardry. More logs to come yet I think

Another in the footy club series and a Thursday morning was a good time here.
Just a lone jogger doing laps.

Second of our ten finds for the day. There was no one around on this Easter Sunday and I had no trouble locating the cache.
We were camping at Mootatunga and came for a drive to Loxton for a meal at the nearby Loxton Club and to find some geocaches.
Signed the log
Visited Glass geocoin
Thank you Jardry

The people of Loxton must be very proud of these sporting facilities, there is something for every one ,all in the one well maintained area. We are now becoming used to seeing such green turf at these locations but this is the first one we have seen that has its own wind sock. The whole area was deserted today so we had the cache in hand very quickly.

No cache at GZ. Phoned a friend who could not remember last week. Phoned the owner and confirmed the missingness of the cache. Organised a replacement and headed south.
Went looking with bek-theraccoon, k8eus and Brendog. No such luck, GZ seemed to be on a wire fence (no hiding places there!) so we checked several other nearby likely locations. Hint didn't really help as there wasn't much at the right level to check.
Gave up after a short while, as it was hot and we had to go back and meet the rest of our group in town.

There was a cricket match on but that didn't stop us from finding the cache
Thanks Jardry
Thanks Jardry
Well it's cricket season so does that count? Not sure what the score was, but the match was a bit tame. No runs scored while we were there, just a maiden over.
This was a quick find, especially when the owner of the cache is your navigator.

We're fortunate enough to approach this through the right gate [^].
TNLNSL.
Some activity was starting to be organised across the oval, so got this just at the right time .
Thanks for another one Jardry.

Found it in the dark. Our first night-caching run, we found it surprisingly muggle-free and easy to access. TFTC.
Cache find #32 of 46 in our Mallee Odyssey!
Our 1st RFL cache, and only one this weekend!
Was a quick find, despite gps having us at another 15m out!
A bugger, if they ever lock the gates?
TNLNSL
Thanks

Wouldn't you know it, there was a policeman sitting on the verandah of the nearest house in full view! I wonder if he thought I was strange taking a close up photo of the tree bark!! He seemed unperturbed, so we completed the core business and left quickly! TFTC
any minute this policeman is going to come and investigate just why matmob was taking VERY close up pictures of ??
but thank goodness he had better things to do

Sat near the new skate park to eat our lunch and wait out the rain. Of course, I spotted a spelling mistake as soon as I looked at the sign .
The road is much straighter but I am a little nostalgic for the old one.
Thanks for the cache.

Thanks for the cache.
When I got to gz a truck followed me but it then turned and kept going far enough away. The gps hadn't settled and was telling me to keep going but there was an obvious hiding spot and so it proved to be. Thanks again jardy.
This one took a bit too long to find. When I found it, i thought how did I miss that[?] You do sometimes. Not a soul around this morning....
Clear skies and thanx again to Jardry from TeamAstro.
Found this one on the ground but all good and placed as we believe it should be - TFTC

co-ords are a little bit out but the hide is fairly obvious. TNLNSL. Cheers and thanks.
A short walk from where we are staying with the caravan. How convenient. Thanks Jardry

A shaken Crane found this one at 6.10 pm after hitting a roo on Gratwick Road a few minutes earlier! Finding a new cache proves there is a Silver lining though.
