I shall have to expand my "Archived" Pocket Query. My database in GSAK is obviously not up to date . My Bad, I spent quite a long time here despite the occasional rain drops and checked out the many possible hide locations. The most promising one contained lots of camo and even a golf ball, but couldn’t find a cache today! Now I know the reason why!
Found full of water while doing some cache fixing in the area - I am removing this one which is pretty fitting as The Mighty Roosters are now The Southern Saints [^]
What a crap day this has turned out to be and to top it off as I was logging in the book I heard a large cracking noise and one of the pine trees came crashing down 100mt away.No more caching today.I liked the container,is it the silver bullet?.tftc
Found on my way up to Robertstown for the SA Rally championships.
Took me a while to get this one... there were a few options... and finally I got it.

We pulled up here to find a ute parked near GZ, we went for a closer look and it was deserted and we could hear the sounds of a mower off in the distance so it must have belonged to the curator. we followed the GPSr to GZ and the cache was found in the second place we looked. We understand how these smaller teams rely on the dedication of a few to survive, our daughter played basketball for over 10 years and it seemed like the same people were there all the time, not many new ones.
Thanks once again Postie Girl

Found on my second day caching in this part of Australia. My thanks to a local footy fan for the cache.
Ummm - doesn't this cache need to be archived and replaced by the Mighty Southern Saints[?]
Hope that they don't paint over the Roosters in the town.
Cheers

I played cricket for the mighty North Clare Rooster many many many years ago. We played against Eudunda in those days and I remember playing here on a day when it was very very very hot. There was a game of cricket going on and I saw a few balls bowled. I hope it wasn't A Grade, because it wasn't really high standard cricket. TFTC
A quick find with no one about, apart from the sheep; they're still there.

The Noodler found. Took keyring, left Opal. Watched kids looking in trees in area before getting it - was Show Day.
Felt a bit funny doing this one as there was a flock of sheep near the cache and for all intents and purposes, looked like it was on private property.

We received a few strange looks from two blokes preparing the cricket pitch but otherwise a nice easy find.

The 2 muggles on the middle of the oval were watching us for a while but they gave up and we were able to find the cache without incident.
Thanks for the cache

Was getting late in the afternoon... Just hoping no-one would be here today but weren't so lucky... A couple of guys having batting practice.... As we didn't finish everything in the town we thought we would leave this one and get it on the next trip... Tks PG and go the Roosters
Went in to the grounds and seen a few people out Playing Cricket so decided not to attempt this one just in case but will get it next time we are in town. Thanks Posiegirl for all the caches of yours we found today even if we didn't get this one.
It was very pleasant out here this afternoon with only the sheep for company. GPSr initially took us to the wrong perch, but the cache was located easily when we looked in the correct one. thanks for the journey.
We saw: The home of the Rooster
(Footballers don't come like they used ta)
Golfers from Eudunda
(Or were they Ten unda?)
And this cache, without e'en a booster

All quiet here today, so thought we'd see if we could get this one.
Good hiding spot - should be safe .
Congratulations to the Mighty Roosters on their recent 151st birthday .

Found this cache just in time for a loo visit, playground stop and lunch break on the grass. Great timing. TFTC Swapped a sharpener for a hole punch.
#44 of 51 for our lower north attack day.
Last one before we make the dash back to pick up geobaby.
We are such bad parents, but as we haven't made 50 yet well take her caching to get the last 6 we need for today.
I thought the clue met then sheds??
Trust in the GPS.

8th of 33 for the day while driving to Worlds End. Is it significant that the cache is near to the chook shed?
Found at 11:30AM. Easy find once you decide that concerns about fences (and maybe golf balls) are only for the faint of heart, not geocachers. Mind you searching on a week day helps to minimise muggles and boost confidence. *S*

There could be a bit of activity here on the weekend, according to the bloke we ran into. Millions of little muggles all playing and checking out all the little nooks and crannies. Maybe Postie should plan a cache checking trip for Monday morning next .
Clear skies from TeamAstro.
Stopped briefly at the oval, but decided not to cache as it was pouring down, and we had to get to Morgan for a 90th birthday celebration.
The grass should look greener this weekend.
P.S What happened to the Rooster that greeted travellers as they headed down the hill into Eudunda from Adelaide?

As usual the GPS was useless in Eudunda. I think the yanks must have a secret base here or something like that. Anyway, found after a short search.
Nice hide. Easily found once I read the cache description to make sure that the GPSr wasn't telling porkies (and I could cross the fence).
Thanks again PG.

The first of 13/13 today (lucky eh?) - each above average in enjoyment in their own way.
This one was memorable in that it was so convenient (only 74m away when I plugged in the coordinates) and that it followed a J1 Netball team win (and they are not so easily come by....
Took nothing but the win. Left Cat prints. Thanks PG - nice to see you again - hope that the pain of your shoulder is soon a distant memory.
T Bug visit
PS gotta add - ain't country sport the backbone of so many small communities? We take each match day so seriously - but all come away with wins through community fellowship. Cheers

All the roosters were roosting today, The very welcome rain on a Friday arvo ensured that we had the whole place to ourselves for the silver . Found it easily and put in a Crows football card (Hey! – I didn’t want it either ). Took nothing. Thanks again Postiegirl
Always loved seeing the Big Rooster as we drove into Eudunda on the way to Morgan when I was young (being a Rooster fan).
I guess like the club, "It's a Great Great Cache", and "if it's wet or it's dry" you still should "try, try, try" but unlike the lyrics I guess it is not "never out of sight"
Look forward to logging when I revisit Morgan after a long time, later in the year.

Of course when I decide to visit this one the local muggle grasscutter is hanging around the oval isn't he! [:(!] It's hard to be inconspicuous when everybody know everybody in a small town! But I tried, tried, tried, and I think I was always out of sight, I played it clean and hid my car, and found the cache! I bet there are a lot of roosters crowing and hens cackling in that shed during the Eudunda Show! Thanks for the FTF pin, I left a tape measure so the Roosters can measure how far they have kicked the ball! TFTC PS, I think I put the 13th in the log book, was definitely the 12th!
