This site was very muggle prone and has been replaced by Wanaka Station Reserve (Otago) nearby.
Ahh.. bad timing on our part, had a good look today but obviously missing and headed back home before the new one came out. Will be back another time
On inspection it has been found that this site has been muggled and is now temporarily disabled. Please await further advice for re-establishment. Thank you.
We searched and searched for this but had no luck. We tried all the trees in the area. Oh well when we are up this way next time we will come back.
Second time over the last couple of years we have had no luck. We'll have to try next time we are back up this way. we believed we were in the correct place GPS lead us straight too some trees which sounded correct reading the past logs.
Walked waterfall track by myself. Spent some time as my gps was pointing wrong position. Found with instinct. Took TB.
We had a short walk here before we left Wanaka after New Years Morning. Found this one quick and left a TB there. Nice place! TFTC
A nice stroll along the lakeside, some nice properties along here. Now if I only buy a winning Lotto ticket.
Thank you very much for bringing me to this amazing spot!

Nice quick grab again. Such a beautifully maintained piece of lakeside, the houses here must be worth a pretty penny. Found with wifey Supa_G on a quick visit around the south island from Melbourne. TNLN TFTC!
On a visit from South Africa and finding some great caches whilst exploring the South Island.

Found this afternoon with the spring sun out shining, and a coolish breeze blowing from the north down the lake. Was introducing my father to the mad hobby of geocaching.
Found the trees and the cache within a few minutes.

Yet another awesome photo opportunity in this town that redefines ‘WOW factor’
Strolling in from Morrows Mead I got the distinct feeling we were on 'millionaire’s row'.
Locations like this are 'the icing on the cake' of Geocaching with the locals hosting us anonymously to their favourite spots.
TNLN
Our thanks to N!mrod for the cache and bringing us to this location.

We decided to stay one night in Wanaka on our way to the Dunedin Mega. What a beautiful spot it is, unbelievable. A very pleasant spot here where the hide is too - there was no-one around, so the cache was quickly found and signed. TFTC.

A brief visit to Wanaka on the way to Dunedin. My sister used to live here or Dunedin, and spent a fair bit of time in the area. Unfortunately her then fiance was once of the Aspiring Guides climbers who died in an avalanche in about 2003. So I definitely had to make Wanaka a visit on this trip from ChCh to Dunedin for the mega event.
Nice walk down from the road, past a friendly local with a dog, then Anna got to the correct height to see it where I had poked with a stick with no luck. Lovely spot, I can see why my sister loved it so much. Thanks N!mrod.

Our last cache in Wanaka, time to move along. Very nice spot, although windy and hot today. Took us a while to reach the jolly thing, but got it using a stick to move it closer, so we could reach it. SL. TFTC.
Top spot to live, might check out real estates (dreaming again!). Lots of fitness going on around here nearly got caught out by jogger. Tftc
We hired some bikes and road around to all these caches before lunch. One of the most memorable days ever. The sun was shining, the sun was out, and the nearby mountains were covered in snow. Just awesome.
We found this on our pre New Zealand Mega Event lap of the South Island.
Cheers from Browngang.

Nice spot on the walkway- GPS coords seemed out about 10metres but could have been due to trees.
