###**CACHE OWNER ACTION REQUIRED PLEASE**###

----------

I've noticed this cache is carrying a maintenance log which really does need to be addressed by the cache owner.

The guidelines indicated that periodic visits to check on the cache, as well as prompt attention to any logs that indicate there is a problem, are part of the [**cache owners responsibilities.**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#listingmaintenance) If you can't attend to the issue promptly, then you need to [**Disable it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235) - I have Disabled it for you this time.

**Can you please respond to this situation (or indicated your intention) within 28 days,** so others know exactly what is happening with this cache?

You have lots of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:

- Check on the cache, repair and/or replace the cache or do whatever else is needed, post an [**Owner Maintenance log**](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating the cache has been checked and [**ENABLE your cache.**](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) Then sit back and wait for the praises.

- If you really hope to get it fixed but there is some unusual reason why you can't do it soon, then at least post a Write Note log (within 28 days). Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it. For ongoing issues (where you don't have an actual date) please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 28 days so as to keep everyone up to speed.

- If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [**Adopt it**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54) or alternatively, you need to [**Archive it,**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56) so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of those. Well, if nothing happens, then a few weeks from today, when I next look at the cache page, it is likely that I will, unfortunately, have to de-list (Archive) it on the basis that it has been abandoned.

Honestly, I'd rather you decide so please do something before then. Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Today with COVID-19 requirements still in effect, but fitness still being promoted, I decided to head to Anstey Hill Recreation Park for some solo mountain biking. I hadn't ridden here in years (actually I've only ridden once when MTBs were first allowed in Anstey around 2015), and so needed to refresh myself with some of the main riding trails. The plan was to find a few D/T 4.5/3.5 caches to complete my next D/T loop. I parked at the visitor's car park off North East Road, and took a few tracks and trails towards the Ridgetop Track, before riding across, and then taking the "Grand Canyon downhill" track. I then headed west along those peaks/ridges, and took a real sketchy track down (I do recall riding that one before). It just started getting dark as I was near below, and with a few final walks and geocache finds, I was back at the car as the sun started to set. I couldn't believe how many people were about today, probably enjoying fitness whilst trying to maintain social distancing. A nice day out, with a few kangaroos spotted around too.

Sigh, so it really really pains me in having to claim this DNF. I took a lot of effort in walking my bike up the rocky tracks to get to the top of GZ, and figured it wouldn't take long to find. I had a really good look in the usual spots, including one spot that I probably checked 5-6 times. I continued to expand my look, and even started searching some T4-5 locations, even though every past find log suggested I didn't need to. After exhausting the 15-20 m area around GZ, I left defeated. I'm pretty confident it has gone, and the key spot that I x5-6 checked was the spot I reckon where this little sistema container was. I'm going to try to return with a past finder, and if missing, will contact the CO to seek permission for replacement. Thanks anyway Zytheran; it did bring me to a great location.

After going around in circles, I took he long circling route to the cache. Another -Z- cache ticked off the list.

Thanks for the cache Zytheran. Found on 16 Mar 2018 at 12:32 pm. Find #6066.

Another Tuesday Trekking with Mrs. S.A. Sewer Rats. I have been slowly clearing out the caches in and around Ansteys Hill for quite a while now. [:X] Time to get a few from the northern section of the park me thinks. Cool
The puzzle have me rotating like a three ring circus. Surprised Then I arrived a t a circular GZ and we decided we would tackle the climb anticlockwise. Wink Half way up we came to another circular track and decided may as well try that. This wound around to be heading straight to GZ. Good choice I thought until I came to a vertical bit up and down and the GPS said you need to be that-a-way. I looked that-a-way and my gaze went upwards. Twisted Bugger. The direct approach was not an option so it was back to walking in circles again. [8)] Then I came across another track that went steep;y and up along the edge of the cliff. So I followed that only to find that it actually met the safer track we were already on. Mrs. Rat took the easy way and we met up again at GZ. I managed the find but as usual I managed to lose a little DNA first. [B)] Take in the views, selfie with the log and another Zee off the list. [:o)]
I even dropped in a trackable that I recovered from another Zee cache the other day. But Typically I was back at this cache with Anymules before I could log it and he swiped it from my inventory. [8)]

**Thanks Zytheran for this cache. ** Big Grin

This has been sitting in the solved pile for awhile.
Out today with Brisal5 For a fun day of trekking and adventure.
It is always good to get a Z of the list. Tftc

I've got no idea how to solve this puzzle. But the cache is found. The jetski struggled up the hill, down was a little easier.
I don't have a phobia of heights or jetski's. But I have a phobia of Zytheran puzzles. Zytheraphobia?

Ruff-Ruff and I were in the area - sort of. And this was one I had solved some time ago after managing to put the correct spin on the puzzle. When I mentioned it to Ruff-Ruff he ran in circles making it pretty clear this is a specialty. I pointed out we may have to climb a hill. However he is much younger and was not put out by that at all.

So off we went. When we arrived at GZ I gave Ruff_Ruff a brief tutorial on the Z terrain rating system and explained that the 2.5T meant we were not going over there. Not even if the smells were good.

As it had not been found for over 18 months I though it might take us a bit but I had not counted on Ruff_Ruff's nose. He quickly found the prize and shortly after there were two new names in the logbook.

TNLNSL - The logbook has clearly been wet but is currently dry.

TFTC yet again Zytheran and Ruff_Ruff says thanks for his first Z find Smile

Our first puzzle solved. We certainly went round in circles, especially our first go at this one when we thought it was on the oval. Great view from up here once we looked over the olive tree.

So the Cat takes Chloe the geodog for a walk to sniff out some Anstey caches.
Quite a few on the hitlist, just a handful today.
Previously dizzy looking at the circles, now even more dizzy balancing by gz!
Nice views, [:o)]

Solved a while ago, finally got around to getting out here. What an awesome spot. Wish the animals would stop jumping out of the bushes and scaring the living daylights out of me though! Lol. TFTC.

It's always nice to tick a Zytheran cache off even if it is an easy one Smile We solved the puzzle a couple of years ago but came up empty then (we tried at the wrong elevation). Today was our lucky day, returning after a long time since our last visit but determined not to leave without a smiley. TNLNSL TFTC

A man only has so much time so we gave up quite quickly. Any hints would be appreciated then we might return

27-Jun-14
I first looked at this puzzle a few months ago. I printed out the picture and put in a half hearted attempt to solve. - no joy. I recently picked up the print out again and within a fraction of a minute the solution jumped out at me.

Once at the precarious geozone, the cache was quickly in hand. Thanks for the cache.

I think this is my second Z mystery cache. Two down and lots to go!

Hah! Found it!

19-Mar-14
Spent quite a few hours going around & around. Then I went around some more.
I think I made myself dizzy, cos I just couldn't crack this puzzle.
I even printed off the puzzle & made a little wheel so I could physically turn the numbers.
That didn't help much either. I'd had enough of numbers by now.
I decided to take an educated guess & see what I could find.

As I parked the car there was a group of young ladies at the oval across the road.
They were, you guessed it... RUNNING AROUND IN CIRCLES!
I thought, this has to be a sign. [^] Off up the hill.

Arrived at predicted GZ in record time. Over there... nope.
Over here... BINGO! Big Grin

Still haven't been able to bet a correct answer in Geo-check?

08-Sep-13
Fnally starting to get to grips with puzzle caches and managed this with only a little bit of help.
As usual with Z caches is in a nice location but not somewhere that I like to spend too much time. Was glad to get away from the edge and start the walk down.
Thanks for the cache Zytheran
Lid of container (200ml Systema) is cracked, usable but could do with replacing (painted black would be nice).

30-Mar-13
Took a first time cacher and first time Anstey's Hill walker up there today, and found this cache. It was good to go "off the beaten track" a bit to get this one! Nice cliff nearby! TFTC Zytheran

29-Mar-13
Early morning hike with some friends and we came to this find. Solved a while back. Great spot. No pen but took a photo.

30-Dec-12
17th cache find on this, the penultimate day of the year and a quest to find 71 cache in 2 days to achieve a goal....

Nearly didn't do this one today, because of the distance from parking.
Damn, I have to. Been sitting on these coords since it came out and I had a crack at the ftf, alas poorly though!
Decided it needed to be done, chinese workboots or not! Uphill is definately further than the gpsr horizontal plane straight line! Glad I did, the views are great! Would be excellent to sit up there on blankie with a wine and feel like you on top of the world! Smile
And the thongs faired ok too! Smile

Thanks

Gotcha!

A Z cache found on a hike and seek around Ansteys Hill with the family.

The puzzle took a little nutting out. But after some reassurance from someone that I was on the right track, persistence was rewarded with a geocheck tick of approval. That only left the retrieval.

HA! Easier said than done. Although I suspect that there is an easier path to that GZ than the one we found. Fantastic views from here though.

Took PT, left some other swag.

Thanks!

Rotate... Rotate... Rotate, for some reason at GZ we started talking about 35s and 78s and boy oh boy, that's kinda before my time, anyhoo... be careful, VERY careful near GZ people, one wrong move and lights out!
Found on a wonderful hike around Antsey Hill with Malco!, Cache_Or_Check and Tiger Muffin.

26-Aug-12
The awesome foursome of CoC, Malco, Mtn_Lioness and TM are on the trail again.

Nice twist on the Sudoku puzzle. Somehow managed to stuff it up a couple of times before managing to get some logical numbers in my solution. Possibly should have waited for the dizziness to settle down before having a second go. I may also have taken the cache a title a tad literally in an effort to solve. This does not work in any way.

Backing away from GZ is unwise and unsafe. Just as well that tigers are sure-footed (and always land on their feet). That's 1100 finds up for T_M. TFTC Z.

The adventures of the Anstey Hill Quartet (TM, M!, MtnL & CoC) Pt 3:

This puzzle was solved that long ago that I can't even remember how it worked. I had also made a brief attempt many moons ago to retrieve the cache, but found myself at a completely wrong elevation. No such troubles today after traversing the last number of meters in quite a pecarious position.

11-Aug-12
I enjoyed this puzzle. Had a pretty good idea how to solve it, and soon came up with the goods. Walked up to GZ along a little track that certainly got the heart pounding. Mind, an approach from the other side would have been considerably harder!! Thanks Zytheran

11-Jun-12
Found during an assault in the Ansteys Hill area. Another puzzle on the long-solved list that was a very satisfying find. Took a bit of a search to finally locate, but I knew it had to be in one of the nearby options. Thanks Zytheran!

12-May-12
Thanks for the puzzle and cache Zytheran.
After solving the puzzle, a nice walk up to cache the back way.

28-Apr-12
Visited Anstey Hill a while back, with the plan to find this one. Approached from below, and gazed up at the formidable obsticle - um, maybe it's at the top? But the group I was with was in no mood for heights.

Came back today, after reading the logs and with a firm idea of where it lay, took a careful walk up to GZ, past the warning signs and was happy to find and sign this one. Judging from the tyre tracks, some nong rode a motorcycle up to the top!

Thanks for the cache, Zytheran

Great spot. Visited this with e.gregory1 and Bob From Elswhere. Bob solved the puzzle (his way I think) and we helped to find it. TFTC

Find 1255
Found with the GPS while on a hike for the day with e.gregory1 and EsromL.
Access to the location was easy as it has been visited previously on past bushwalks.
Many years ago it was suggested Football Park was to be built below this location.
Thanks to Zytheran for the cache.

Found on a pleasant days walking in the Anstey Hill area with EsromL and BFE (who did the hard work on this one!). Great outlook. Thanks Zytheran for the cache.

A bit of a climb, but great views! The prickly bushes are hazardous though!

28-Oct-10
I enjoyed my walk towards the cache. Magnificent views.
Thanks Zytheran for the cache. Smile

23-Oct-10
Found this as part of the group down from Queensland for a cache raid this weekend.
We all had different opinions on where to look so a few of us went off in different directions/ circles.
With all those eyes one was bound to turn up the cache in the right spot.
An interesting area that provided and enjoyable walk and some views for us all.
TFTC.

23-Oct-10
I thought the puzzle had us running around in circles, but the cache also had us going around in circles as well.

After a nice cardio workout to GZ, we were rewarded with a cache and some great views. Looked down to see other team members taking the wrong approach. We didn't see the snake the muggles warned us about.

TFTCZ Big Grin

Found as part of the SE Queensland puzzle solvers group raid on Adelaide. Yeh we did go around in a circle. Nice bit of exercise for all of us. We also did a lot of running around in circles around Adelaide finding our planned puzzle caches Smile TFTC zytheran

23-Oct-10
After some differences in opinion, the group split to hunt this one. Half of us headed to the top (HELLO, this is a Z cache remember...) and a couple headed down the bottom insistant they would find it and we would be hot and bothered for no good reason... Surprised

It was a great relief that the container was found in our spot and we could yell subtle messages of joy (and sarcasm) from the top, while we enjoyed the views... Big Grin

We did offer to throw the container down to the others but thought better of it... After all, it's only fair that they trek to GZ right... Wink

Cheers Zytheran.

Found as part of SE Qld Puzzle Solving Group Puzzle Raid to Adelaide

After a brisk walk (well a bit slow for me) up the hill cache was located...

TNLNSL

Thanks Zytheran for the cache

23-Oct-10
We had an interesting stroll up the hill, wondering along the way at what level GZ would actually be. You definitely wouldn't want to get to close to the edge at this location. TFTC Zytheran

#31 day 2 on SEQ puzzle solvers Adelaide trip. Couldn't figure this one out when I first looked at it but on a second glance and using the hint it gave me a combination I was happy with. Followed the paths to GZ and arrived huffing and puffing. Very glad this was at the top after making the trek up but it's a zytheran cache - there was never any possibility it was at the bottom was there[?] Eep that is a long way down but some great views!! Thanks Zytheran Smile

23-Oct-10
Found with the SEQ puzzle solvers. A nice walk to GZ, puffing a bit as my fitness levels are a bit low at present. Great views from up here. TFTC and the nice puzzle.

13-Sep-10
Enough running around in circles already [xx(]

I had ventured to this exact location a couple of days ago on a wander around the area.
It just looked like a cache would be hidden here Big Grin
I missed seeing this particular cache by mere metres though [:o]

Today with the puzzle actually solved and a set of real coordinates to head for I retraced my footsteps in a roundabout manner Razz
Ah !! There's the cache.
No wonder I didn't see it before Big Grin

TFTC.

27-Jul-10
was in interesting walk up the hill. my pregnancy brain decided that it was a good idea to just follow the arrow and take a short cut through the middle of the scrub..........bad idea....BAD idea. after a few minutes walking i found myself on the middle of a prickle bush forrest that seemed to go on and on. but once i got out and got all the prickles out of my hair and clothes it was a lovley view and easy find.

11-Jul-10
Loved solving the puzzle, loved the walk to the cache even more. Excellent view. Big drop! scary cliff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

03-Jul-10
This has been sitting in my GPS for ages waiting for a reason to venture back to this park. Cancellation of the Independence Day event left me at a loose end, so I decided it was too nice a day NOT to do some walking caches.

I have ventured all around this area before (also on Z caches, as I recall Twisted). There are some stunning views to be had here and I got some great photos. I was wrapped to find 3 pathtags from the McKees in the cache. I grabbed two of them, replacing them with 2 of my own. Thanks for another great cache Z. Big Grin.

02-Jun-10
OUR FIRST FIND OF ZYNTHERAN'S PUZZLES!!!!!! Blood, sweat but no tears were required for this one. Solved the puzzle fairly quickly. Walk to the GZ not so easy for Craig and Jacq as we are unfit. Jacq slipped over and took the skin off one palm when Craig decided a short cut was in order. I didn't even swear :~) Mr Z. was called some rather colorful names as we trudged up the hill, sadist being one of them. Found the amazing view with the cache. Took the bug and coin for a trip to Melbourne next week. TFTC.

08-May-10
Had a great walk to retrieve and was able to drop a movable on the way. great view cheers TFTCSL left PT and Geocoin took kanga

02-Apr-10
The puzzle was easy, the cache was not. Did some pretty serious rock climbing before finally getting to the GZ. A bit too close to the edge for my liking - a small slip or tumble, and you're a flyer! But a nice view was worth the effort. Found in the company of my daughter, who ran rings around me as we appproached the GZ. Took a badge, left roo. TFTC.

07-Mar-10
Solved this one a while ago but had to wait for a trip back down to Adelaide to find the cache. Nice walk through this area of the park.
Easy find

Coords spot-on for me. Actually my second visit to this spot, but last time I wasn't geocaching - was out for a romantic walk.

Now I'm off to the Fox & Firkin - I advise against visiting the Fox (or the Gully) BEFORE visiting the cache Smile

Signed log, sharpened pencil.

Find 29 of 50 in a two day caching run around Adelaide.
It was a hot one today
Thanks for providing fun in my Holidays.

This sure felt like more than 2.5 the way I went up there. I came back a lot easier way. Curse that compass arrow.

Funny thing it wasn't in the first place I looked as the spot all but had a Z flag flying from it.
Went looking in circles and came back to first spot. Note to self I should check both sides when looking.

Still cant believe with that drop there isn't a 3.5 in there somewhere and Mrs Parrot hasn't got a shiny new tag for her collection

06-Oct-09
Woohoo, a Z cache I haven't needed help on... Still took me a while but I had a pretty rough idea how it worked... Good things theres a checker to make sure, I would've been searching in some far away places!! Went for the nice walk, really enjoyed the view! Thanks for another awesome cache... Can't wait to figure out some of the others and get them. Thanks for the cache!

26-Aug-09
An easy find in the end.
Have had solution for ages but just never got around to the 'lets find the box in the bush' bit of caching.
Took GC.

#6 of 2nd Anniversary top 20 closest to home. L Plate driving day.
After a clue, we got this on our 3rd visit. Close first time [B)], a long way out the second [xx(], but knew today we would find it Big Grin.
Took crocodile keyring. Left Sextant GC. SL.
Thanks Zytheran for an interesting puzzle and view.

04-Apr-09
Found on the second visit. The first time I thought we'd got a solution, but admittedly I had my doubts that we'd worked it properly, and I paid for it with lots of skin and sweat on the first visit. After taking a different approach, then getting a hint from winterdragon to point me in the *correct* direction Razz, the coords lined up and I knew it was right. A quick climb followed by a length search, and the cache was found 15m from the coords. I can see why you wouldn't do this at night!! Watched some hardcore mountain bikers racing down the hill, then left after collecting the TS. Great puzzle. TFTCZ.

08-Feb-09
Curse you Zytheran, yet another of our favourite walking places where we thought would be a great spot for a cache already taken by you Smile
Oh well, a great spot for MRS Potts Travel Slug TB.

31-Dec-08
Searched for ages without success. I was sure that I was in the right location but just couldn't find the elusive cache. Eventually I started wandering away and checked a couple of spots about 25m away from my search coordinates and bingo.
Left mini pegs and AU$100 play money. Nice views. Thanks Z

13-Dec-08
Solved this cache a long time ago and today was an opportunity to be in the area. Definitely not a cache that should be done at night. One step. Splat. Thanks for the fun Z. Roll on May 2009.

27-Nov-08
Found it on 2nd attempt. Was pretty sure I had the right location the 1st time but just couldn't find. Excellent challenge. Took Geocoin.

25-Nov-08
Went looking for this one with a new cacher ACPSA with no luck, What was unlucky was that I must of got scratched by something and ended up in hospital for 8 days on a drip with Cellulitus.

ACPSA has since been back and found it. I will return when I improve.

25-Nov-08
Pretty sure I found the location but just couldn't find the cache. Will try again in a few days. Magnificent views from the suspected GZ.

31-Aug-08
After looking at this cache page several times before it was a very pleasant surprise to open it this morning and finally have it make sense Red Face
All that was needed then was a preasant walk in the park to the wrong location, followed by a somewhat longer & much more energetic walk to the second set of coordinates that I had worked out. Fortunately they turned out to be correct and I was rewarded with some lovely views when the clouds parted [^]
1 Geocoin in, 1 geocoin out.
Cheers again Z.

Only one solution [?]....
Had looked at this off and on for a few weeks.
Thought we had the puzzle solved, but after looking for 1/2 hour, we called it quits [xx(].
Lots of hiding places and the rain would have concealed it even better.
More thinking required [?].

29-Jun-08
This was the second Zytheran puzzle I worked out last night and I must add it was a lot easier than the first. It just dropped out as soon as I started looking at it. A pleasant walk today, but it was a bit of a task after the ride to Da Kangaview this morning, the view was worth it in the end but I wouldnt want to be doing this one at night, that next stepp is a doosy. Cheers. MODU.

22-Jun-08
Well, we did what we thought was required with the puzzle. We had an answer. Was it THE answer though? It looked right on the map. Approaching GZ during a walk the GPSr went completely bananas and started insisting the cache was 3km away, and that we were at an altitude of 2800m, and yet sat coverage was very good. It took two turn off and turn on agains to finally get it to settle down and point towards a smelly bush. Very smelly... ammonia comes to mind....
Luckily the cache was not in that bush, it was nearby. Woohoo! We were right!
Enjoyed the view and then continued on with our walk, thanks Zytheran.

15-Jun-08
Ma Kettle knew how to solve this the moment she first saw it but we didn't have the time to go and find it. We were surprised to still get silver today after enjoying a pleasant walk to retrieve it.

Great final location. Kettle Kid had his eye on this spot for a cache of his own but he will have to look elsewhere now. Carried a TB in to leave but it didn't fit so TNLNSL.

Thanks for another great all round puzzle cache Zytheran.

Round 'n round, now its found, the views from GZ do indeed astound. This is a great little spot off the main track, and a surprisingly easy walk in. Once I found the right path I knew I was in the right area Smile.

After logging and replacing the find, I stood at the edge and enjoyed the view, and was spotted by the muggles below. So some stealth is definitely advised.
