Removing it completely and replacing with a bigger and better one across the road.
It was great while it lasted.

It looks like this one has been muggled. We were within 1m of the gz, all the clues told us we were looking in the right place but no keyholder. Cheers, M_Family

Almost for this one was soo close to the event, so before we rushed off it make sense to find this first before we drove off on our weekend adventure thanks
First quick cache after meeting the crew for the day. And the advantage of being 20m away from where I standing was handy.
Found this with The Cash Man during the Port Stephens Invasion Event. This was the easiest cache all day as MR MADSTARS was telling everyone where GZ was.TFTC
Felt like I had only just flown in from Tassie, and after meeting a few people, it was GPS on, and a nice quick one to begin with
Thanks MADSTARS
Thanks MADSTARS
Picked this one up whilst milling around at the start of the Newcastle Invasion. TFTC
This was our first find of the Port Stephens / Newcastle Invasion Event.
We found it just before the group photo.

After lunch we headed back to the start coords for the invasion event to grab this one. It was very quiet so we explored the park before grabbing the cache. TFTC
He he - found this one before I knew it! - Located near the event, and had to be prompted that a cache was being found!
Definitely an assault while at the event nearby - I bet this cache has not seen so much action in a long time (nor have most others in the area)! TFTC.
Found as part of the Canberra Invasion to Newcastle/Nelsons Bay/Port Stephens and surrounding areas with Tealby, Tankengine and Mtrax. This one was day two and it was going to be a long one..........
Wow....an event and a cache to fine at the same time. The find was made after the event photo, although I had to be called over to grab it. To busy talking I guess.
Thanks MADSTARS....one of the easist caches I've (not) found............

Found as part of the McWinTrexO'n team cache invasion tour of the area, the first one after 'fush N chups' and the first inturruption of the evening. The maternity ward is probable going to be very quiet in 9 months time due to our activities this evening, Easy find sign and replace.

Cache number 2300! After fish n chips at the marina we drove around for a few more caches by torchlight. Disturbed a few young ones parking nearby! Thanks MADSTARS.
Just out and about startling the locals in what must otherwise be a quiet little area for nocturnal canoodling. A quick find by Team McWinTrexON and away to startle some more frustrated folks. Thanks MADSTARS.
2119. This was the first cache after we got the cr to do the further end of town and it was not only the start of a cache assualt but also an assault on the indecency of the younger (presumably) population of Nelson's Bay. Yep not long after we turned up the parking couple (presumably a couple but could have been a George Micheal clone as mentioned earlier) decided to vacate the area. This phenomenon was to occur several more times tonight.

No muggles around the pavilion at night - finding was a cinch. Cheers Gav [4108]

Third attempt at this one. no muggles today... a bit of rain kept them at bay!!! TFTCSL
After being foiled by muggles setting up their bbq last weekend on Anzac day, we were able to come back to get this one today. TFTC
Finding the cache was easy. Replacing it was a little harder as there was a sudden influx of people. Within a couple of minutes the coast was clear and the cache replaced.
Great little spot and start to the walking track that leads to more caches. Had a few muggles about having a BBQ and two girls on the stage holding a concert for their dad. However found it rather easily although we didn't get the hint til after we had walked straight past it!!!

Found at 12.30pm GAFF1. The 15th cache found on c-pprass's annual trip to Port Macquarie with the mothers-in-law and sister - the oldies are starting to wonder when they are going to be fed!
An interesting piece of history and as usual in a beautiful park where we could leave the oldies to enjoy the view.
Thanks MADSTARS.

Attempted this one but a family had set up their picnic right next to GZ. Will have to try on our next visit to Nelson Bay.
Yet another great park you have taken us to Madstars - thanks! Only one muggle couple in the park and they were hidden from view by a tree. A nice easy find. TNLNSL TFTC
What a great spot for a little cache. Checked out the view and signd the log. TFTC. The Tablelands Cachers (TC's) Coastal caching spree.

Muggle central this beautiful morning...family reunion breakfast..scuba diving groups gearing up....orienteering groups getting organised...markets nearby and geocachers (us)...but all clear for us the make a quick grab, sign the log, tied the shoelaces and headed off for our next find...TFTC
Plenty of nicpicking muggles about, but who notices one more muggle squatting down taking a shot of the bay [?]. How often do they use this structure [?]
Clear skies from TeamAstro.
Found at 0810 Marg found this one I was on the wrong side. Nice viw from the area. Cache dry and well. TFTC
People everywhere and just when you think you have it all in hand and finally go for the cache the pop up sprinklers fired up.
Easy find, this has been a great day out with Mrs Tamykian

A quick and easy find. Managed to retrieve and replace this cache very inconspicuously. Silver to us on the new log sheet TFTC.
Geocaching-interuptus, muggles busted us in the act...will attempted this tomorrow with decoy geokids.
** Coordinates Changed From **

Distance From Old: 70.7 feet
Well the last cache was getting wet all the time so we thought we would change its placing and also help the short geocachers.
Degree of difficulty has been increased because of the muggles.
Hint has also been changed.

Tried another three times this weekend to replace cache but muggles everywhere.... I will get it back...
Tried to replace again today but man the muggles are horrendous... I might have to increase the difficultly score on this one.
I mean how hard can it be to replace a cache....
hahahaha
I will try and have this back soon, but I think I might have to get up really really really early...

I have tried more than eight times to replace this cache... Man talk about muggle central... I go early and there is yoga in the park, I go late and the oldies are having a chat, I go in the day and people are having a BBQ... hhhmmmm
When I do put it back I might increase the difficultly of the cache...

Looks like this was the wrong weekend to decide to change the log here.
Having said that, all the other Madstar caches I found over the weekend were all Dry and AOK, despite the terrential rain and wind over the last couple of days.
Again, some more enjoyable history and a different vantage point of a view seen previously.

Always wanted to perform on stage and finally can tick that one off the list. Even though no one was present. Our production of Juliet and Spiderman went ahead and we are sure the scene where Juliet sprays Spiderman with Mortein would have bought a tear to the eye of even the harshest critic.
After a reconnaissance mission the day before I returned early in the morning to grab this one without raising the suspision of any passers by.
Found it in the end, didn't spot it immediately as the coords seemed to point us to the large tall post just a few steps away.

Ran into my second fellow geocacher in consecutive caches, found in a combined effort, TFTC!
I was here with a friend of mine and we intended to dive but as the sea were rough and the water cold we decided against it. So I had a quick look for the cache and didn't find it. 5 min later while chatting with my friend I saw someone looking for the cache and together with Grub Fred we found it...
Thanks!
Thanks!
18:31 The assault for this cache was a little tricky, but I agree with at least 3 of the attributes listed on the cache page, being that it is available 24/7, and at night in winter worked for me The hint doesn't really help as that is relative to where you approach from! GPSr wasn't being very helpful either, making me go all over the place to start with. Note, there is a one way road past here, make sure you go the right way if travelling by vehicle! Thanks for the urban micro.

14/30 To spite my height we needed nimble feet at this one and after a bit of a search we found what we had come for. TFTC
The Wandering Wilkos teamed up with Ruffasguts4X4 for a day of Port Stephens Caching. This one took us a while and yep height would have helped. Not sure that someone that tall would have fitted back into the Geomobile later on but it’s a good hide in a top spot.

head torch on hand , found more than the mirco , a fairly big huntsman spider guarding the cache.
