Today we are on our way to Wudinna grabbing caches along the way, this one was still in my gps so after a bit of research and PAF we soon had the ending, we made our way there and the cache was in the open, cache and contents are still all good. TFTC

One or more of the following has occurred:

No response from the cache owner.
No cache to find or log to sign.
It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future, just contact a reviewer (by email), and assuming it still meets the current

guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

Should you replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Surprisingly quiet in town. Where's the bank. Interesting murals. Actually better say cute unlike the red back spider that has laid its eggs under the container which made me a little hesitant to touch anything other then a scrape away with a stick. Tftc tnln. Off to the Loos again.

28-Dec-11
A 2 day trip from Adelaide to Pt Augusta and back wwith White Dog Gang collecting over 100 caches.

We travelled over 1000km in 2 days.

We did all the calculations after finding all murals.

We then headed out to GZ but couldn't find the cache. A quick call to the owner but she was busy.

We headed off to more caches. The owner later rang and confirmed we were in the right position. Unfortunately Vodafone and the country are not a good pairing so my connection dropped out while we were having a chat.

About 30 years we stayed in Snowtown for a few weeks and it's always good to have an excuse to call in. I can still remember walking down the main street and the shop owners shoveling the dead mice mice from their shops.

28-Dec-11
Found as part of a two day Northern areas run with Team Waldron.

Claimed after checking with owner.

A lovely and relaxing day to do caching around the countryside...worked out the multi then it was found by Mr Bushies2 however the cache, contents and logbook were soggy wet and mouldy so we removed the mouldy contents and added it with a new logbook but left the wet logbook in it for the owner to remove it. Thanks Gum-Ako.

23-Dec-11
Found cache open to the elements, contents still in container but half full of water leaves and a red back spider, contents very wet and slimey, emptied out the spider leaves and water but unable to dry out in the time we had, will need new bags and log book and the trinkets probably thrown out, have returned the lid and recovered in the meantime

23-Dec-11

Always enjoy town murals, especially if they have been painted by community members. Not sure if we agreed that the scene we needed for the third mural was the northern one [?] Anyway, we used our commonsense and came up with the correct answer. TFTC

14-Feb-11
A fairly easy multi to get however, the 2nd mural was a bit confusing- is that really an abandoned building?? Anyhoo, we found it so we were happy! Cheers

Finally grabbed this one after talking to the owner and using the mural and not the building Doh!

10-Sep-10
Found on my second visit, on my first attempt (many moons ago) I miscounted somewhere and finished up heading west to a very unlikely spot. Having nobody around at GZ made for a quikc easy find.

Thanks for the cache Gum-Ako.

20-Jun-10
Love the art work creates some great pride in the towns heritage and is a pleasure to view. Better than adelaide grafitti. TFTCSL Had an icecream while we admired it all

10-Apr-10
On a short holiday caching with Briben. Had a great time with this one. The locals have done a wonderful job with this town. Keep up the good work. Left an eraser (because that's what I need whenever I try to draw anything) and took nothing. TFTC

15-Mar-10
It was late in the afternoon, and hot. It took us a few goes to count animals, and decide exactly what your meant.
The other two murals weren't a problem (you sure that is north?)
Did our calcs and were off.
Thanks, Robmc.

15-Mar-10
A nice set of murals but mural one gave us trouble. Our first set of figures put us on a farm so we recounted and then had a likely spot. Nicely hidden.
Thanks

13-Mar-10
The second multi we tried after coming into Snowtown, but couldn't get it to work [B)] and went off to do the SWF series.
Tried again after we returned and figured out where we'd gone wrong [8] (we were taking the wording too literally).
Took pad. Left pen holder. SL.
Thanks for the confusion Gum-Ako.

26-Dec-09
Found after a bit of a mishap in the counting department for mural 1. Light bulb moment when location did not make any sense...backtrack then success Smile

The murals are great. I particularly liked the Fed Shed one. I took the opportunity to read up about the windfarm too while I had the opportunity. Thankyou for organising this multi.
T: Stationery Set (geokid made me). L: Action Man and buggy (sorry not very artistic, although I am sure action man has his artistic moments).
Cheers & TFTC!

[Well, due to my ineptitude and several other factors we won't mention here in case the Wife reads this log, it took us an hour to finally locate this one. I'm sure the locals were thinking that we were a six pack short of a carton the way we were wandering around looking confused.
T - post its

Found at 1705. We enjoyed the murals and the little wander around. One of the party was sorely tempted by the smell of hot chips coming from the shop but we moved him on. The cache was well hidden and finding it gave us the opportunity to see a little more of Snowtown. Thank you for the journey.

Left Malt Bus tb.

03-Oct-09
A great little tour of the town, just a short walk to all 3 murals

A bit confusing counting animals+birds or without birds, you will have to work it out?

07-Aug-09
Found by Mary & David at 0850. Ah! Yes, we can count! We usually count independently then cross-check our answers, and here we agreed first time. A most enjoyable cache, and some good art work by some talented locals. Our thanks again to Gum-Ako.

22-Jun-09
parked next to a mural when we came in to town- so how could we resist? TNLN TFTC

12-Apr-09
It took a while to get all the clues together, with lunch and another cache find in the middle somewhere, but it wasn't a hard find after all that. TFTC.

TNLNSL, Cheers.

05-Apr-09
One of two DNFs for the day. On reflection, perhaps I should sort out my North from my South (or learn to count). Whatever I did, I didn't do it right. Next time.

15-Feb-09
Some nice murals around town here. A quick find of the container but you would need to check the hours you tried to find this one due to its location. Weekends would be OK.

Day 246 of non-stop caching. Big Grin

We enjoyed viewing the murals though I must admit we werent sure what to include in the way of animals in the first part. However we worked it out with the help of some of the information in the cache notes and found the cache. Thanks Gum-Ako

A very interesting cache - interesting to learn about the place through the murals - although we had to be told #2 was really #3 and we'd missed one! Drrr - thanks for geofamily help.
Also saw a windturbine blade on display in the town - wow!!! was it big or watt!
Took pencils and left a pencil sharpener.

21-Aug-08
Love the artwork. Great stuff. Quick little cache as we roamed the town looking for food. Huge cache at the end in the obvious spot.

17-Aug-08
Answered all the questions before having a yummy ice cream and then headed to cache site but could not find.Retrieved two other caches nearby and then rechecked answers and convinced they were right so back to site again.Looked around and about to give up when it was right under my nose. How can two sets of eyes not see the obvious on two looks and then their it was. Took coloured pens and left articic ball. Thanks

16-Aug-08
Ladybirds found this morning. Had trouble with this to begin with, it's amazing how one digit makes so much difference.
This was a great cache. Took Pencils and Paper Left 10pk Coloured Gel Pens. Signed Log. TFTC Gum-Ako.

15-Aug-08
Loved the murals. The final loc nearly tripped me up. I had to return after doing another couple of local caches while waiting for all the little muggles to disappear.

11-Aug-08
Well - came up with 6 potential coordinates for this one - after debating whether birds and/or rodents are considered animals, and whether or not the abandoned building was the structure in the picture, or the one on which the picture was painted, but used logic to choose the most likely gz and was rewarded with a find. Still don't understand the clue - but I see there is another cache with this name - so perhaps they are related.

10-Aug-08
When we arrived in Snowtown today we were a bit pressed for time, but decided to squeeze in this easy multi-cache anyway. Found all the info easily, but had a slight doubt about the bags of grain which later proved we were correct. Upon arriving at the cache we realised what the hint means Wink. Good to see the murals in this town that is famous for all the wrong reasons. No swaps. Thanks Gum-Ako.

26-Jul-08
I loved this cache Gum-Ako and really enjoyed collecting all the information from the town murals [^] Mural 2 was definately my favourite of the set-It's fantastic!
I think a few wind turbines should be painted in as a late addition as they are a picture as you approach the town.
Geoson was pretty happy with a 10 goal win against your Catters and 4th best while PG was even happier with 2 FTF's
In appreciation I have left 2 new caches out for you and BAGS to compete overBig GrinHope you enjoy your new TB TFTC
Logged my FTF GC in and Out of my 62nd FTF TNLNSL Cheers
