Out for a bit of a bike ride, and trying to find a few geocaches along the way.I had a little help with the puzzle, but I found the container all on my own.TFTC.
Finally time to be in Adelaide and we arrived a few days early. We set up camp in Walkerville and settled in for a few days.Today we joined forces with Robmc and headed away from the city on the bikes. A day of mixed fortunes but this was one of our successful finds. One of the puzzles we broke our brains over in anticipation of this trip - we replaced the log as it has gone awol.A beautiful day to be out riding along here. Thanks for showing us the sights.
Interesting code, not one I have seen before. The cache container was there , but no logbook. We replaced it.Thanks, Robmc.
Took the geopups for a 10+km walk along the Torrens linear trail, picking up caches along the way. Not too many people out on the track considering it was the middle of Easter, and the weather was perfect for a stroll today!
Looked in a hole in the tree and saw two brown eyes peering back at me! Mr Possum had taken up residence there. Searched another spot very close and the cache was found!

After a lovely pub lunch in Parkside with the husband he headed off back to Naracoorte and I decided to head East to collect a few caches before doing my shopping and heading home. 5 caches found and a nice afternoon was complete.
Last time I looked for this with the JAMS crew it was missing have been past so many times since it was replaced but always in the wrong direction today made a determined stop and cache was found safe and sound TFTC

Parked up and made my way to GZ, despite the darkness here the cache was easily found and is all in good order
This evening I had a few hours training at Vic park so on the way home I detoured to find a few caches along the way. 9 finds for the evening.

Found on a JAMS(JJ52, allister w, mogni and Sir Spectre) journey Port Adelaide to Golden Grove. We found some caches that had challenges to get to them and some that needed TOTTs. A good days caching even in 36 degree heat. TFTC
Another Sunday caching expedition was organised with the JAMS team (JJ52, allister w, mogni and sir_spectre) tackling some solved puzzles, caches where we need TOTTs, some multis and a few trads thrown in. [^] Although the temperature wasn't too bad when we started at Port Adelaide by the time we got to Golden Grove it was rather hot and a couple of walks that were planned got postponed for another time. We had a fun (long) day and found quite a variety of caches and didn't stray too much from our planned route.
We saw that this one had been replaced by the CO since our last visit so we stopped to make the find and our last one for the day.
Thanks for the cache Frozen Feet.

Thanks to the co for replacing this cache since our last visit. quick find this time. The JAMS team is slowly winning the war against the dots.
The JAMS team ( JJ52, Allister w, Mogni and sir_spectre )was out and about again. This time we started in Port Adelaide and slowly made our way to Golden Grove. With a 34 degree day we reduced on some of the planned hiking due to the heat. Thanking the co's that replaced the missing caches on any of our days out, letting us find them on this run. This is also the last planned run for the year.

I had received a slight nudge to get started on this a while back after which the numbers soon sorted themselves out. After bumping into the CO at last week's community celebration I decided to have a look for this one noting it was recently maintained. The cache was found readily enough, as were two trackables - however the said trackables aren't appearing in the inventory for this cache. I'll keep an eye on them however. TFTC.
Big day out planned with the JAMMS crew (JJ52, Allisterw, Mogni and SirSpectre). Left home at 7.20am and arrived back home at 7.20pm. It was a fun day out, with lots of caches found, a few dnf, a few caches replaced. We attempted to use our TOTTs but were thwarted on more than one occasion for one reason or another.
All up 20 caches found for M&h including some that would never have been found without a team effort. Thanks to all the CO for putting out fun hides and maintaining for our enjoyment, greatly appreciated.
Sadly we had a dnf here there was nothing cache like in any of the obvious spots. TFTH Frozen Feet.

This is a puzzle that I solved a very long time ago and it has sat in my 'solved but unfound' pile ever since. I drive past GZ quite often, but have never taken the opportunity to stop and go and find the cache. Today was different.
After parking a little way away, it was just a pleasant stroll to GZ in the early evening. On the ground was the base of the container. The lid was then quickly located in a spot where it all should have been. There was nothing else.
I didn't have a spare logbook or any other paper so I searched about and found someone's discarded visa statement. Mr Rukic has some interesting expenditure - mostly in the Goolwa/Victor Harbour area - but I digress! I tore off a blank piece of the paper, which should serve as a temporary logsheet until it can be replaced. The cache was replaced and well covered it in its hiding spot. Hopefully it will stay safe.
Thanks Frozen Feet for the puzzle and the cache.

Very interesting puzzle. Who would have known......
We are running out of solved BFE puzzles, so we decided to stop and grab this one on the way up north. I think we solved it a while ago, when the cache owner had a different name I seem to remember. Parked as close as we could and took a nice stroll towards GZ. Found in the first place we looked - got to love that!

Well done to MissB who found this one amongst all the foliage. I had a quick look from my knees and saw that familiar brand name, with the help of Mr.B we managed to unhinge the container and we stamped the log with a smiley. TFTC
Found on our morning walk. We just love Linear park. Where else can you feel like you are in the country, but be pretty much in the city? The majestic gums are a treasure. Thank you for this well hidden cache.
Out with Moneydork & hevwalker on a lovely, mild evening perfect for night caching.
No possums tonight, plenty of awesome Eucalyptus trees in this spot.

Mogni was in town for a caching weekend. I picked her up from her overnight digs and off we went letting our GPS be the guide. Stopping for a morning cuppa in Glenside we were joined by AnyMules.
We decided a nice morning walk by the river might be in order. [^]
Didn't spot the indignant possum but we did find the cache. Thanks Frozen feet.

Had opened this one many times, looked at it, tried things to solve it and closed it down again. Last night I opened it up and had yet another look and suddenly the solution hit me right between the eyes. Soon got some coordinates which looked good when plotted.
Today, needed cache for the day and this was close by as I was travelling around. So, parked nearby and wandered with a few muggles to GZ, but luckily the muggles continued on and I veered into GZ and made a quick find after finding the obviously incorrect spot which was vacant. Signed log and replaced. Wandered back to the car and continued on with my travels. Won this war, thank goodness.

Mrs SA Sewer Rat and the wise Doctor Owl decided on a girls day caching.
Found the cache on the ground.
The inside of the cache had a little water inside, the log was dry.
So while Mrs Rat stamped the log, Doctor Owl emptied the water out and dried the container and other swaps.
We placed the cache back where it should be and placed local cammo over it to hide it.
With maintenance applied it was time to leave. TFTC

Owl needed to shake the cobwebs off her brain, so collected Mrs SA Sewer Rats for a day of fun, frivolity and some BFE puzzles (though this was soon overtaken by plans B through X). A nearby puzzle Owl knew how to access and which Mrs Rat had solved led to plan C and they were happy to refurbish the cache after the recent floods. Fortunately the log was safe and dry.
Bonza! A nice puzzle solved many months ago. The cache took some time to find, the obvious hide was occupied. Thanks for the puzzle and TFTC!

Located with SOCEofficer on a warm humid day after a short search. Looked into that obvious spot and then looked elsewhere and found the prize!!!!
During a break in the rain we picked up a couple of solved mystery caches within walking distance of each other. Shortly after signing this cache the rain started again so we headed back to the car.

Dawes kids strike again! Boom! I couldn't solve the dots puzzle but found the cache anyway, I'm not sure if that makes us good or not?! Great location, looks like the eggs from another photo have hatched!
Found It!
This was one of the puzzles I solved back during that 40 degree heat of summer that you just can't go caching in. Having endured the chocolate frog's French Braille I though I might know what I was doing here. But that wasn't the case. After trying a bit of everything I tried what I should have tried at the start and it all became quite obvious...
2 months later (today) I finally got around to stopping at GZ. Checked the obvious spot. No cache (no possum either). Do a lap. Oh, there it is just sitting on the ground with no cover. After signing it, I put it back under the rock.

An overheard conversation at a recent event suggested that this puzzle would be worth Owl's consideration. A couple of red herrings got her nowhere (except an idea for a possible future puzzle!), but persistence got her on the track of the right dots. A nice walk today brought her to the site of the conflict and a prisoner was soon captured. Pleading for clemency brought it a chance to fight another day. Owl has been feeling a bit depressed about her puzzle skills lately, but this cache restored her confidence. Thanks!
Mrs TiedyeSmileys was the spotty person who solved this some time ago. This was our first stop on our first bike ride into the city from our new home. A nice quick find, then back onto our treadly deadlies and off we went.

Another puzzle completed. Simple enough once you figure out the key to solve it, but in our case this required learning a few new things about the origins of the warring dots. There can only be one! (and this one isn't ) TNLNSL TFTC
We were very lucky that we had used the same code for one of our own puzzles. Consequently solving the puzzle was straightforward. Today we went to look for the cache. Reasonably accurate coordinates led to a quick find. the cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the puzzle and cache Frozen Feet.
Gotcha!
After trying all manner of methods of making sense of the dots, (including playing join-the-dots and ending up with some rather questionable images) a set of numbers finally came into focus.
Excellent! Now I get to visit the possum!
But it would seem that the possum might have moved on. Some sort of bird must have taken up residence instead, as I did find (but not touch!) a couple of eggs.
Thanks Wibbles

Having been out for Mr Honeysucker's 50th birthday tea, a few of us decided to go get some caches. Out with TheKellyGang, The Silver Snitch and parislaura while they found lots of caches and I found 2
Lots of laughs and fun watching them looking for caches I had already found!
After a lovely walk across the wet grass with some of us in sandals, we thought maybe we were dotty!
However after finding a cache, and sadly not seeing a possum while doing so, we dotted the map with a smiley here
Dried out the cache as best as we could.

With Paris Laura and the Kelly Gang this wet little cache was found. Plenty of mosses guarding it and trying to cover us with a different type of dots.
found while out with parislaura found the cache but was water logged so replaced container and log sheet put back into place ready for the next find. TFTC
Being in the area it was nice to take a little walk by moonlight to grab this little solved but unfound cache. It was a little water logged but it was fixed and replaced by the Kelly Gang.

The war is well and truly over. I thought it might be time to head into the depths of the Z war zone and see if the possum has survived. I knocked once, knocked twice. Nobody home it would seem. Shame! Cache located shortly after. No possums/cyclists/runners/walkers/dogs harmed in the retrieval of this cache. Funny, I felt a Z tingle down my spine as I left. TFTC Wibbles.

I had the afternoon free to drift around the Torrens area, and realised this one was in the area. I thought I had uncovered yet another Wibble lost cache and was prepared to contact the CO but luckily uncovered the hide. The time of find was about 2:00pm and not a soul to been seen.

Nice puzzle. Challenging but quite doable once you put the leads together. Grabbed the cache today while out for a run. The container had about half an inch of water but amazingly the log was still dry. However can't say the same for the other contents which were very waterlogged! Not sure about the possum ... didn't see any sign of him but there is NO way I was putting my hand in there to find out. TFTC Team Wibble.

Worked this out months ago but could not find the cache. After becoming aware of the re-instatement of the cache I found time to go back, and bingo, there it was. Left a geocoin. Thanks Team Wibble.
Swung by the cache and it was nowhere to be found. A replacement has been placed. It's still not in the tree hollow. No resident possum at the moment, but a clutch of eggs instead.
Out with a previous finder, but no luck in finding this one, I believe the cache is gone...

We found the possum ok, and was quite shy and not very indignant, though he might not have been happy with the accidental camera flash. It was ok, later a close relative took revenge on Gunnie, so all was good in the end. Quite a pleasant walk from where we parked, and quite a lot of people around this morning. Even got to see ducklings as well.

Found as part of the SE Queensland puzzle solvers group raid on Adelaide. That possum must surely be seriously re-thinking his choice of home. TFTC Team Wibble
The possum was quite calm given the number of peering eyes in had staring back at him. Lucky he was not snappy and decided to stay put in his den. Handy that he was spotted and no fingers were chomped... That was not the case for a cache we found later in our Adelaide trip though. One that I am still sporting the puncture wounds from...
Anyway, the walk to GZ was pleasant and we saw a myriad of wildlife enroute... Nice spot, thanks for bringing us here Team Wibble.

Out for a lunch time run in a different locale, but alas I didn't carry a pen or pencil to write in the log, but a call to the Wibble line has allowed me to log now (although I shall return to enter my scrawl).
Always fun to learn something new, and just like deaf signs thought there was only one version. How wrong have I been all these years
GPSr had me heading elsewhere to where I wanted to go, but then it finally agreed with me enough and I spotted an exposed cache to tell it, it was wrong.
Was going to leave a coin, but the last entry made me think a muggle may have discovered it.

This was cache # 45 of 68 for the day, in the company of Alansee on our five day long weekend Adelaide caching Bonanza. This was a nice walk in a great bush land park with plenty of birds, it was just way to hot today. We had no trouble finding the cache. My thanks to Team Wibble for the cache.
Dots! Dots! Dots! The hard part though was the walk in to gz - why is it allways so HOT whenever I come to Adelaide? At least the walk in was not too long and the cache was a quick find today. Thanks Team Wibble.
I don't know which one of us was more scared when I tired to take a peep through a hole with my little torch. It was a good job which I did not put my hand through the hole. (See the photo.) I eventually found it. I enjoyed my stroll.
