No response from owner. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. I'm temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary. Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 21 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.

Please can this either be replaced or removed it is clearly not there. Thanks

Looked but no luck today, from the sounds of the previous logs it may have been lost to the council lawnmowers.

I found it today but the metal holding it in it's place has rusted and it has now fallen off. I wedged it in the branch but Needs Maintenance ASAP!

Also, the log book has been wound into far, no longer accessible.

A bit of scrambling in the trees yielded the desired result. Glad to have had the chance to check the GPS at nearby co-ords as indicated in the description. TFTC

On the second try we found this, we were in the right spot the first time but didn't have a proper look...anyway found it, nice spot, cool cache and neat log boog, didn't sign it...tftc

Hot Sunday so not much parking nearby and lots of people around. However found it ok. TFTC

Should be an easy find indeed... This was our last attempt for the day and it took a lot longer than it maybe should have. We weren't too fussed, we had the green to ourselves and we knew it was going to reveal itself eventually. After making the find we rewarded ourselves with a late lunch on the beach before heading back home for the day. TFTC

A very clever hide! Thanks for bringing us here. We thought we were on the wrong side of the road at first but as per the recent logs, we just trusted our GPS. We searched for about 10 minutes and finally located the sneaky little hide. TNLNSL - TFTC! This one would probably be my most favourite WackyB hides.

A very easy find as the cache was lying right out in the open. I was surprised it was still there. I re-hid it where, and how I think it should have been. WackyB maybe you could have a look at his one when you get chance. Thanks for the cache.

My apologies for the LONG! absence from Geocaching. It is with regret that some of our caches have gone, but I hope to be able to review, update, restore, replace those that remain in the coming weeks. I would like to thank all that have helped maintain some of our caches in the true spirit of Geocaching, and extended thanks to those that have offered help in replacing those missing.

Out and about with the Future Finder today. After a positive experience with the local takeways in Maraetai, we thought we would stop bye for some dinner before heading home...Closed! Well, nothing for it, but to spend the remaing few moments of daylight to finish of the caches out Maraetai way. The Pohutukawa coastline is very scenic. Unfortunitly the grey atmoshpere today discouraged the taking photos. However, the cold weather meant for fewer muggles and ease of parking. Nice and easy find in the obvious spot. Took only a moment to spot in the failing light. What type of container is this? I like. I like a lot! Cheers for the cache!

Lucky to get a parking spot just metres from the cache with lots of people enjoying one of the last warm weekends of the summer. My GPS took me to within a few metres of the cache, but spotting it took some work with a container that blended in very well to the area.

Easy find if you trust your GPS

What a wonderful weekend. After having spent the day at Tawhitokino Bay, we drove back a different route to get some more caches. This one was a typical great WackyB cache: Great container, great camo, great logbook. The only downside was the abandoned nest with an egg in it nearby.

Found the cache easily, and My Gps was spot on.

Found it with the help of 5 people and 2 dogs!!

Went with Morris Magic on a beautiful sunny day, what a great place. Will come back to soak up the views when there are less people around.

Found on an East Auckland and beyond cache raid with Kiwi Explorer. Starting to get dark now. Ordered our dinner at the nearby takeaway then off to do this cache while it was made. Torchlight illuminated the cache and it was quickly found. TFTC, Biggles.

Found with Biggles while on a tour of East Auckland. Ahhh "got it!" now, and we found the cache. Found this one while our dinner was cooking, very nice it was too, we enjoyed it while watching the waves lap in on the shore. The log is now full so could benefit from some development. TFTC.

Quick find on a quiet day . Checked my new Oregon on the marker and matched the co ordinates exactly .

Easy find with the help of the hint, we loved the container and lovely location. Noted that there are only 3 blank entries left on the log sheet, will need a new one very soon. TFTC

When I found this cache I liked the great container but then the logbook is certainly different.

My GPS was spot on in reference to the Bench Mark.

This one took a little longer than it should have to find. Very pleased to finally spot it. Haven't been to Maraetai for many years - and the beachfront still looks pretty much the same. Thanks for the cache and the childhood memories it brought back to us both.

Parked bikes in handy spot and walked to GZ.. XC has had a go at this one before resulting in a DNF so said "Fetch" to TK and sure enough in 20 seconds she had it in hand. Mumble.

Camo meant cache blended in well - missed it on the first pass. Great views indeed. Noticed a muggle watching us, so acted like a teen couple and he then prefered not to watch! hee hee!

2nd go at this cache this weekend. Was determined to not leave without finding it. Yee Ha in the quiet of the morning and little cooler, I found the cool cache. Great hide. Must have been the sun putting me off 1st time. SL. TFTC.

Drove slowly past cache on 7th, looking for parking, noticed someone appearing from the bushes and another laying on back with arms up a tree, surprise, surprise, they were geocachers ROSMAR. They hadn't found it and after a quick look I too packed it in - too tired and hot after day of caching on way to event cache. Realised on way back to campervan that I had locked both sets of keys inside (not the first time I've donw this while geocaching either , thankfully MAR had thin enough arms to get through the slightly open window and lift the button [^]. Anyway came back today and found fairly quickly to make my 2nd find of the day . TFTC

Realised I'd never logged this one - found with Seattle's Best, Kayaknkiwi, Indiana Jill and a friend. Talk about beating the bushes! Good thing it was getting dark or we would have been highly conspicuous. Of course, IJ found it in the end, she (nearly) always does! TFTC

Out caching with the team afternoon while at the BBQ event, well we searched, searched some more, getting dark or should I say it’s dark, torches came out. Then whooolaa, nice find by Indiana Jill with her trusty torch!! Fantastic camo!! Thanks for bringing us here. TFTC!

The container is great. The log book is a way cool! Searched for this cache in the dark on our way home from the Oh Man A BBQ Campout event. This may have been easier in the daylight, but we perservered until Indiana Jill's torch caught a glint that shouldn't have been there. TFTC!

Hmm, this was not an easy find.
We found this one at night, really dark . . . I think the torch meeting the shiny steel made it possible. Was a really hard slog until I stuck my head all the way in to the foliage. Glint! Ah . . . then moved closer to get it and lost sight of it. Had to go back to first position to get it in focus again. Ah, got it.
Hooked is right but rather precariously so an adjustment was made. Hope it is ok with owner. Didn't mean to mess with your arrangement but was afraid things might fall in to obscurity.

So busy around this beautiful coast today. Fortunatly no one around the cache. A good hide with an excellent container. TFTC

There was a young couple enjoying the weather right by the cache - had to abandon the initial pass. Got some food & drink nearby, planned out the next couple of caches, then returned.
