Took a walk and decided the container just wasn't going to cut it anymore. Went looking for a new home with a better cache, but decided to leave the area to the hobos who've made camp in the area.
The puzzle was fun, and I'll remake it again one pub lunch time when I find the right GZ.
Cheers and Thanks for those that had fun assembling the puzzle.

Solved the puzzle ages ago and only just got around to picking up the cache today, some hidey holes were filled with broken glass but we still managed to find the cache container. It was in 2 parts with a hole in the side of the container part, and it was empty. We did the best we could in making it look like a cache again although we had nothing on us to replace or do a proper fix sorry. I did have one of my swaps in my pocket with our name on it and it was in a resealable bag, so I placed that in hoping if anyone finds it before it is fixed at least there will be something to sign.
I do have photos of the cache if needed.
Now I actually havent signed a log but can I please have this as a found? I rarely come into town and really dont want to be back in a hurry

I have had this one on the list for a long time. Good to get it off finally. The log book is soggy.
Thanks The Calumphing_Four for the cache.

Scraps of paper still wet after all these months..

This was cache # 25 of 68 for the day, in the company of Alansee on our five day long weekend Adelaide caching Bonanza. we circled the block looking for the way in only to end up at a cache location from the day before, we walked in from there, the best bit about the cache was the guy with the remote control helicopter I was entranced by its antics. The cache could do with a bit of maintanance all we found in it were some tatty bits of paper that were wet and I did not see any stash note. My thanks to The Calumphing_Four for the cache.
Like Feathertop I did the monkey puzzle in Victoria a while back. I needed help with that one too.... It took A2Y and myself a little while to find the way in to this one but eventually we hit paydirt with an open gate and a shorter walk than we might normally have had.
Once at gz the cache was an easy find. There was a muggle having a great time with a remote controlled mini-copter up the slope.

Found on an Adelaide Invasion in the company of Big Matt and Shell and The Rats.
This one had us stumped for a little while after a small error. Found on our second visit. TNLN and TFTC.

As a member of the Gangsters who invaded Adelaide over the weekend, we found this cache on our second attempt. The first time a typo had us searching another area where all the clues fitted but no cache. After recognising our error we returned to a place where a quick find was made. Thanks for bringing us here.
We searched for a good twenty minutes on this one without luck. It was amazing how you can make the description suit the location...
It was once we got home that we realised that we had a typo in the co-ordinates.

I cut my caching teeth on the old puzzling monkeys puzzle in Vic and carried around the bits in my pocket for months.
Another cache liked this appeared in Hobart a year or two ago and the time taken by me to get the solution for this one fell somewhere between these two.
Nice area for the hide but the log sheet is ruined with water which half filled the cache. I added a few scraps but they won't last.
Thanks Calumphing_four

I was very fortunate to see a preview of this cache before it was published! It was a lot of fun to try and put together, it reminded me of the Puzzling Monkeys cache in Victoria (except this didn't have a big walk at the end of it!). I visited late at night and was impressed by the development of the area, it will look great in a few months.
I surprised a gecko at GZ guarding the cache, I shall have to add it to my list of Australian fauna I've seen while caching. Many thanks for the fun puzzle Rich, and one day I hope to make it to one of the pub lunches.
Cheers,

Muggled!!!!
Found the cache container , so we're claiming a find, but couldn't see any of the contents anywhere.
Tore a strip of paper off our run sheet for a temporary log and rehid the cache under some leaves.
TNLNSL.
Thanks for the puzzle and the walk Calumphing Four.

Search everywhere - no luck, Would be lovely if you could check if the cache still there please. Thanks.
Enjoyed work out the puzzle with my friends, we have a good laugh all night. Again thanks.

Well it's nice to be part of the solution to this one . Drove right up to it. No fence with warning signs in the way here so no need for this one to be offline

I'm sure this was what the doctor ordered - a bit of fresh air and some light exercise. I'm sure it was at least 10 metres from the car to the cache!
Thanks C4 .

4 cachers walked into a bar ...??? Once it happened, you would have thought the other three would've learnt. Took TB. Thanks for the cache!
Pa Kettle finally got around to collecting this one after solving it when it first came out. Fortunately there were very few muggles about as it would have looked a little sus seeing someone in work attire clambouring around GZ.
A good hide. Thanks for the cache.

Find 513 without a GPS at 3.30pm
Third visit to the location.
First 22Dec08 FTF that the cache was missing.
Second 27Feb09 unable to locate the reactivated cache. I emailed the owner who confirmed I had solved the puzzle and was looking at the right location but not looking hard enough.
Third 1Mar09 returned equipped with the full cache finding tool kit.
Located, retrieved and logged within 5 minutes felt almost like a FTF because of the new position and the increased Difficulty and Terrain.
Returning the cache took a little longer.
TNLNSL Thanks to The Calumphing_Four for an entertaining cache.

Cache is back, same coordinates, but different spot.
Hint has been updated too along with stars.

Guess I'd better go down the pub, enjoy an ale and replace.
Will be waiting for it cool down first though.

Goblindust and I are adding our names to the DNF list. Our tour guide had been to this one before and he wasn't able to locate it either. I had fun solving the puzzle, though.
Solved the puzzle and checked the final location twice with noinonni to no avail. Looked in the obvious spots but it looks like trucks have been driven over the GZ. Not sure if the cache has been compromised. Will keep an eye on this one.

Solved the puzzle quickly from afar. Found it quickly too when I got to Adelaide. Good feeling after having DNF'd the 2 puzzle caches that I'd attempted to find earlier this afternoon. T4TC.
Nice puzzle, and a dusty walk today. Found it in last place we looked after about 20 min.

Perhaps those 4 cachers could come and help me.
Talk about making something more difficult than it is.
I solved the puzzle surprisingly quickly and today had a chance to pick it up. I got down there and after a while of searching was convinced it was missing.
I had become obsessed with where I thought it would be that I didn't do the obvious.
I sent a quick text msg to Astro but before he could respond I thought what if I checked there. (Insert the sound file of Homer's 32 doh's)
Another quick text to let him know that I had found it and I was on my way.

I had a few earlier attempts at the puzzle without any luck, then yesterday afternoon I spotted the pieces out of rhe corner of my eye and thought wh not, one more go and within 2 minutes I had the correct co-ords....

Four cachers walk into a bar, and the barman says:
"What's this motley crue of nerds doing in my bar?"
Finally got out here to grab the cache. Miss Wibble decided it might be an area better accompanied by Mr Wibble, because its a long way from anywhere and fairly secluded and not necessarily safe for people out alone. Plus its always more fun with someone else along!
Found without too much trouble, an amazing amount of flies in the first place we looked. Ick! TNLNSL, thanks calumphers.

Cache 12 of 62 for our big day out. Enjoyed doing this puzzle, geokid did too. Grabbed TB Chelsea Polly Pocket while we were here. TNLNSL. TFTC.
I have had this one solved for quite a while but was never in the area to actually find the cache.
I left the missus in the car with the two kids and walked in to complete the find but only allowed myself 1 minute of searching time as I knew the kids would be getting rowdy soon.
Just as I was about to walk off after not finding the cache in my alloted timeframe along came Setsujoku and Anana who convinced me, quite easily, to have another look and low and behold there it was.
I was over time by a few minutes and got a few dirty looks when I got back to the car but it was worth it for crossing another puzzle cache off my to do list.
Thanks Rich for another well thought out cache.

Went walking after the pub lunch with Setsujoku to find a few caches. Had fun doing the puzzle. TFTC
Found easily, after solving the morning that this one came out. Today provided the opportunity to go for a walk after the pub lunch.
Adrian ended up finding the cache, after initially giving up. No birds swooping here today!
Grabbed the TB that was in residence

This one's been sitting on the desk for a while now awaiting the right opportunity. Today was the day. Had to hoof it the whole way but was soon rewarded with a good find. Took gc. Thanks for the challenge Calumphing_Four.
All I can say is "Boy am I glad this one did'nt have teeth" Looked in the spot twice and still missed it Lucky I had experiance with me Thanx for the cache Calumphing_Four
The setting sun sure was puttimg on a beautiful display as we were driving towards this one. We certainly spent way too long at GZ. Missed it by that much on our first pass but eventually came up a winner.
Managed the puzzle pretty easily when it first was published but I wasnt in the area until now!
Had a nice little walk to GZ after all the flying I've been doing recently.
Left the 'Maux Faux's Memorial' TB in the cache which just fitted!
Cheers
PS I cant believe those 4 cacher didn't just go and find another bar!!

After spending a few days with the paper bits juggling around on my table, when I had time, I got it sorted last night.
Off to GZ this afternoon. I wasnt as game as Freedo to do a drive by, but I think there's no reason not to (now with hind sight)
Be careful at the most obvious spot as its full of broken glass!!

Ok - reading the instructions certainly helps. We tried for a couple of hours to solve the puzzle with the numbers all up the right way - cant be done. Read the instructions and solved in 5 minutes. Bonus is that it can be a drive by at 11pm at night .....TNLNSL
We didn't find the puzzle too hard at all, just need to remember to read ALL the info.
The Freddomobile pic is right where the gps wanted me, but made a logical deduction, with the hint being a hinderance more than a help!
Nice puzzle, glad I wasn't implicated again!....
TNLNSL
Thanks
PS: Probably not a good location at nighttime, as spotted 3 'camps'!

Yay!! I didn't stick around at lunch long enough to see the solution for this one the other day but after repeated attempts over numerous days at solving this puzzle the solution finally presented itself after the consumption of a bottle of wine and a big Ahh Haa moment last night.
Now to go out and find it.
Now to go out and find it.
Accomplished the caching of this cache as drive by without having to lock the diff. Final parking 3m from cache. Pictures attached. No fines received for my caching activities at this stage.
I could not resist this joke.
Four cachers walk into a bar - they sit down and order drinks. The bar man gives them their drinks, accompanied by a bowl of peanuts.
To Mrs Uni's surprise, a voice comes from the peanut bowl. "You look great tonight!" it says, "You really look fantastic too Ms Wibble, and that after-shave is just wonderful! Darko"
The cachers are a little confused, but try to ignore it. Realising he has no cigarettes Stealth wanders over to the cigarette machine.
After inserting his money, another voice emits from the machine. "You WANKER......Oh my god you STINK..........Do you know, you're almost as ugly as your mother"
By now, the cachers are extremely perplexed. They turn to the barman for an explanation. "Ah yes", the barman responds, "The peanuts are complimentary, but the cigarette machine is out of order"

Must be a blond thing.
After three days of fiddling with brightly coloured squares I gave the puzzle to Alice the Amphibian.
Solved in 5 minutes.

I started on the puzzle earlier in the morning. Wibble almost had it but I finished it off for her .
On arriving in style at the GZ with Barra, we started looking in the obvious spots. Nope. We just couldn't find it.
No wonder. Bruce had it in his pocket! (pic).
Clear skies and thanx Calumphing for this 9 factorial style puzzle.
wow, spooky Mulder.
Didn't see the puzzle last night or this morning but happened to be doing some of these today and working out automatic ways to solve them.[^]

Okay, so what's the real story here? Four cachers... so that means only one of the Wibbles and one of the Unicycles was present. And where was Nomad Penguin? Was she Elsewhere with Bob and the other Wibble? What were they up to walking into a bar, instead of being out caching? In the jokes, it's always three people that walk into a bar, so why four this time? There's more to this story, mark my words...
Anyway, by an incredible and spooky coincidence, at the exact same time that I saw this puzzle, I wasn't working out automatic ways to solve it! So I resorted to the old fashioned method of printing it out (on a colour printer ), and moving the pieces around until they fit together.
Found by torchlight, in an area that was just asking for a cache...
Took: nothing
Left: C4 Geotalk coin + diabetes TB
Thanks for the fun Calumphing Rich!
(Edit when I realised it was stealth in the image - well, penguins all look alike!)

Four geocachers walked into a bar - ouch!
Printed the puzzle out last night, but didn't really look at it until this morning. Solved it over breakfast, then tripled my ride to work to get first-to-find.

Silver for me after a detour on the way to a different bar!
Puzzle was easy in the end, although watching the carry-on at the pub, maybe that's just me and Steve that thought so.
A council crew drove past while I was signing but they didn't look twice. Mind you, that was nothing compared to the show I put on later, running up the track waving my coat around my head. Will someone please tell the magpies it isn't spring yet?
TFTC Rich. Took TB, despite the fact we'd made the ton already

Cleverly done. Working this one out kept some of the cachers occupied at lunch. Thanks The Calumphing_Four
