So, another cache in the area archived. Maybe we'll see a whole lot of new ones out soon??
Sorry all,

Our adventure cache of the day .
Couldn't get a proper leg up, so resorted to using one of the park features.
Next biggest problem was carrying this out between all the passing traffic.
Eventually retrieved .
TNLNSL.
Thanks Bek-theraccoon and Racing Stripes.

I'm sure you'll all be pleased to hear I've scoped out two new high up cache locations

This was about our fourth visit to this one. We had some time to kill when others we were having tea with were running late, so we popped out to this one with one extra person to help hoist Mr Wibble up into the tree. Where he then sat for quite awhile, because the cache was VERY firmly wedged in its hiding spot! Eventually extracted it, and a passing dog walker didn't look too confused at a grown man sitting up a tree with two women below staring up at him. Very glad to have this one crossed off our list!

As Spice is a bit deprived of what is needed for this cache it was up to Echo to come up with the find.
We had lots of fun with this one and definitely felt like cheeky monkeys!
TNLNSL TFTC, find #493 for Echo & Spice.
** Note for owner: Log book has fallen apart.

Unfortunately the monkey stayed home today but his stealthy friend was more than helpful!
No problems with the retrieval - for me .
Thanks for the cache.

After being inspired by the Olympics, I came prepared with my own pole vault and had the cache on the third pass

Thanks god Bundy is taller than me and he did it phew! SL. Thanks Bek-theraccoon and Racing Stripes for organising the cache and hunt.
Freddo met monkey, well not quite, but he did go for a bit of a swing.

We will take that extra point for daylight caching thanks. Zeroed straight in to GZ, fairly obvious given the available info. Muggles not a problem, as they pass by with barely a consideration of what we were doing, and no locals around. Easy grab as we utilised a local accessory to assist us.
Grabbed at 1415 hrs, number 20 for the day.

Found it with Everlasting and Bundyrumandcoke, they were effort to get the cache thanks for the hunt and cache.
This one was well wedged in today but with a little help from my cacher's friend it was out and signed before too long.
Cache 5/5 of a daddy-daughter caching expedition today and 2/2 off the DNF list.

In keeping with the theme, Mr O donned his favourite gorilla suit and climbed the hiding place. Then Mrs O had to throw things at him as he wouldn't come down voluntarily. Quick find. TFTC.
I never did get that pair of extendable legs for Christmas! Plus, muggles kept passing by...
Only one spot it could be luckily geo son thinks he's a monkey cache was easily retrieved TNLN TFTC
Another challenge to caching. Anyone watching would have said this is madness ..... monkey madness. TFTC
Didn't have a friend, but a nice easy find anyway. Only needed a little lateral thinking! TNLN TFTC.
Well if anyone saw me they would have thought I looked like a very foolish monkey indeed. Just couldn't get to it, so had to make like a monkey. Extremely difficult to retrieve. But good fun all the same. TFTC.
Hooray! Found it after going back twice in one day. The cousins and I had a general idea where it would be but didn't have the height to get there.
Busy muggle area...definitely made it more difficult.

After a couple of quick tries over the last few weeks (spoilt mostly be the number of cars crawling past during mornig peak hour) a find while on the way home tonight! A bit of a nemisis out of the way.
After this find I will be happy to be called a tree hugging hippy.
Thanks Bec-theraccon and Racingstripes

[Found it during a day's mapping for Openstreetmap. Thought it was going to be harder than it was ]so was standing on my bike[ but it turned out to be easier than anticipated ]
DNF at the end of my day's cyclocaching, but I didn't have any hints or logs. I will return!
Had a look on Sunday and couldn't see anything, had another check this morning with a friend of sorts (magnetic stick). Still can't spot the cache. Will have to return with a taller friend methinks.
Checked and cache was gone - again!
Replaced this evening with a different, smaller container in original hiding spot. Please don't take the weights we've left in the bottom of the cache.
Happy Caching all,

Third of three DNFs today - spent so long looking in the trees that I missed the closing time of the bank I was meant to be visiting!
Found on lonesome but with assistance of suitably hooked stick. Thanks for the cache!
Joan was with me for the day. We managed to get it with my special tool. I hope the muggles just took no notice of us being weird. The log book is very wet. Ok
Thanks Bek-theraccoon and Racing Stripes for the cache.

Had no trouble finding it today as it was on the ground next to the base of the tree which is obviously GZ. This is probably good as I didnt have a friend with me or a ladder...
I would say that due to the lack of weight in the cache, it was probably blown down last night.
Signed the log and tossed it back up to where I suppose it came from.

Find 365 without a GPS at 4.30pm
Tackled this one without Notes or Google Earth printout, but I did take a casual look at Street View on Google Maps yesterday and confirmed there is a park.
Easily Found
I have the perfect alibi at the moment “surveying for ABC Local 891AMâ€

Well the cache was still there this morning.
Did appear to be a brand new logbook though!
Cheers, TFTC.

Well, the issue wasn't finding the cache, but figuring out where it came from! We figured open and on the ground among the bark chips was not the original hide... but a phone-a-friend solved all.
Another case of having a male look for a cache. Whilst i started searching around, Anja quite rightly pointed out the cache sitting on the ground...
After a phone call to a previous finder, the cache was replaced back in its correct spot, still dry, and hopefully safe enough to live another day

I'll go check that its all okay in the next few days.

Does 1645 on a Tuesday arvo count as "the middle of the week"? On the cusp of peakhour too!
Had to be resourceful, and timing between 'sets' of cars is crucial to retrieve. Not so hard to replace, as I must've looked like some monkey with a 'prop' walking down the street!

Thanks for the challenge!

Meh, just required standard caching superpowers. Oh, and some handy props from the car. At least it was quiet around here today, so didn't need invisibility as well.
Thanks for the fun, Bek-theraccoon and Racing Stripes!

I brought a friend, but the dog wouldn't cooperate, so ended up "borrowing" some assistance from the front yard of the neighbour to the West. Nice hide, and the coordinates were spot on. I think this was about the perfect time of day and week to grab this one. Thanks Bek Theraccoon and Racing Stripes

Less than 200m from home! Walked down with Liz and Bruce and a shonky ladder for a quick find.
Arrived 5 minutes after the shonky business. The 13 year old child was a useful tool.

Its official name might be Monkey Madness but it has become known as the cache near shonkys house. Lovely excuse to catch up with Mr and Mrs and junior Shonky and have a pleasant and short walk from their abode. Thanks Bek-theraccoon and Racing Stripes
It was meant to be difficult! You seasoned cachers just seem to take it in your stride
Try doing it in the middle of the week

Arrived with out a friend. All by my lonsome. Luckily, a tall skinny bloke came past whom I happened to know. Why wasn't he watching the Grand Final like everyone else [?] - even quieter than the Melbourne Cup today.... ... Timing was important. The caching Gods were with me after all - I was not alone! ....... And I had noticed this park before and though ...mmmmmmmmm.
Clear skies and our thanx to Bek-theraccoon and Racing from TeamAstro. [^]
