This cache has had several DNF logs and a maintenance request, the bushes near the toilets are looking tattered and the brick wall is slowly being pulled apart with all the activity searching for the cache, the searching for this cache is causing destruction to the council public area
Have to admit this one got the better of me,took to much time and we had a very good look, must be something very simple, so simple I just could not find it.tftc
Second DNF here for me. Came about a year ago with the same end result. Only difference this time was nearly all of the wall has been destroyed. Soon I'll have to ask for help on this one. TFT hunt. I'll try again. [:(!]
318. No luck at all and we searched for so long that Mr Winglen smelled like a lamb roast.
Day 3 of the Yorke Peninsula Cachout with a find count of 68 for a total of 183 over 3 days - I didn't get them all so will need to get back again soon.
Parked right next to it - all quiet in town this morning.TFTC.

Almost to quick a find. Part of the "ledge" over the cache had been left on its side and the cache was visible. Rebuilt the wall after signing the log!!! TFTC
Geoboy had cache in hand pretty quick while the ladies visited the Best Public Toilets, TFTC
not bad for public toilets, better than the ones at the footy oval anyway. TFTC
Last one for the day. Jimmy01 made sure the plumbing still worked. Nice. Thanks Psalms
Took us 2 goes to find this as we were were muggled out the day before on our way to innes park. Mrs TiedyeSmileys made use of the facilities on both occasions while Mr TiedyeSmileys found and signed the log book.

Stopped here on the way back from a windy weekend at Gleesons. Had a Pie and an Iced Coffee from the nearby Snack Bar. Used the nearby facilities. Pity the best public toilets in the world dont have any soap to wash your hands with!! I felt obliged to wrap a little electical tape round your container to make it look a little less like rubbish and give it some camoflauge. Hope ya don't mind. TFTC
Even the locals think so! We arrived at about 8am (first cache of the day) and there were people there. We waited patiently, and eventually they left, walking off through the town. The coast was clear for our find.
Still not sure about this SA habit of putting caches outside toilets!
Thanks, Robmc.

Thanks, Robmc.
I had been looking forward to visiting these after reading the logs but frankly I was let down.
I would have expected at the very least some piped music and soap! Where was the soap which I needed to wash off the herby smell I picked up in the garden retrieving this cache.
Thanks.

Toilets are the underdogs - always getting dumped on by everybody . But at least the cachers get to smell like rosemary when caching this cache. TFTC.
We found the cache after a search around next to the bushes. Last cache for the day so we stopped for a drink before we headed home. TFTC!
Nicely presented conveniences. Came away smelling like one of those dangly toilet deodorisers after rummaging through the rosemary bushes. Good hide and thanks for the cache!
Quick stop on route to Marion bay. They look good from the outside I'll take your word about the inside! Easy find and sign.
Cheers 4 da cache Psalms & C3!
Cheers 4 da cache Psalms & C3!
A quick find on the way home home from Marion Bay. Didn't use the loos though it was a quick stop, very clean town. TFTC. SL No swaps.
Luckily this one was in the first place I looked as it felt a little wrong hanging around public toilets. Used the facilities right after to see if they lived up to their name and they weren't bad. I'm not sure if they are the best in the world but they were very clean and new looking.
Oh! It is there after all. On my way to Marion Bay, thought I'd try a different approach by actually using the facilities first. And it worked!
Didn't even grope a snail this time around.
Thanks Psalm 118:24 + C3.
Didn't even grope a snail this time around.
Thanks Psalm 118:24 + C3.
I parked within 1m of the cache, but could not locate it. Placing my hands in several of the holes resulted in groping a snail or two. [xx(]
Spent more than a penny at this cache site and eventually gave up. It may be there but we certainly annoyed a whole load of snails and possibly the garden gnomes whilst trying to be inconspicuous. Try hanging around a toilet block in the main street of any town for 30 mijnutes without getting a few strange glances! Thanks for the hunt. If someone finds this soon we will be back to find it at a later date! Cheers for now and it's off to the nearby pub for some diet drinks. Bottoms Up - I think that's appropriate, isn't it?
I always need a rest break. But not smoko for Astro. I'll leave that to Everlasting. Clean inside (pic!) Is it legal to do that?
Clear skies
TeamAstro!
Good timing for a cache at a Toilet as we were in need of one. Had the cache in hand after a short search. TFTC Psalm and the C3 crew
In desperate need of a 'pitt' stop and what better place than at the best Public toilets in the World.... Thanks Psalm and C3 crew for the cache and the break...
Found by Mary & David at 1545. They certainly are palatial, spotless and presumably fairly new. Our thanks to Psalm 118:24 with C3 (Copper Coast Cachers).

Found on our caching tour of the YP.

Find# 469
3rd find of the day.
Took: Nothing / Left: Nothing
The facilities were being well used when we arrived at GZ. The trading tables across in the park made it muggle heaven but we were not discovered extracting and replacing the cache. One of a number of finds over the Easter 2009 weekend on our way to Coobowie caravan park for the long weekend. Thanks for the cache!

This was a fairly bold claim and the only way to prove it right or wrong was to go and use the facilities. We agree that they are of an extremely high standard but we think that to be the best in the world they need slightly better quality toilet paper.
We were fortunate that the cache was found quickly right where the GPSr said it would be, we simply filled out the log and left feeling very relieved
Thanks Psalm 118.24 for the cache

had to wait for cleaners to finish. great toilets but no luck finding the cach : (
Found easily after waiting for the cleaner to leave. She almost caught us looking for the cache.

Easy part was finding the cache! Retrieving & replacing the sheets of log paper was most difficult! Have you seen how spiral notebooks can be cut across to fit in this size container? TFTC
Didn't need to go! Found the cache though. There's a growing number of geotunnels appearing. Thanks
being a public convenience, the public turn up at the most inconvenient times. car after car of tourists arrived to seek relief and the to cap it off the contract cleaner turned up and his mate stayed in the van beside to cache site.
gave up and moved on

I was going to put "I've visited here many times" but considering the theme of the cache I decided to change it but "I’ve passed through here" and "I’ve been here many times "still sounds like toilet humour
Anyway I think Kenny would be proud.

Found@09:15, 1st on our way home from a flying visit to YP with the Burton's (we'd jointly completed the infamous Bent Jetty geocache the day before ). Met the Burton's again here before we separated again, very nice loo. TFTC Cheers 'scargoes (P&F)
Yes I agree, the are certainly up there with the best.
cheers and thanks for the cache
cheers and thanks for the cache
Nope. The best toilets in the world are in a little town on the north island of NZ on the way to the bay of islands. The Hundertwasser public toilets in the town of Kawakawa are world famous and have to be seen to be believed. Try googling for some images. You will be amazed.
Warooka is a close second.

Number 2's or 3's.......................dangerous place for an old man to loiter near

Caching and toilets. There we were a couple of blokes hanging around. Just ignore us nothing to see here.
Perhaps not the best in the world, but definately a step up on many! Plus as a bonus they are still open at night [^]
Cheers, TFTH.

Found late at night along with the others
I didn't have the urge to check out the facilities here but it did look clean from the outside

# 7 find for me on The Burgundy Brigade aka The Not So Flash Mob tour of the Yorke Peninsula.
Love the smell of rosemary, we used to have a sizable bush at home. I am quite familiar with the facilities here, they were always a welcome sight on the long drive to Pondalowie.

The 8th find for the evening, on our way to Turton for a weekend of caching
We made a quick find, and whilst i signed the log, it gave Anja a chance to check out the facilities after posting a note when this was published
They are nice toilets, but i think that the ones in Clare look better! oh well can't have everything
The log book was hard to extract, but apart from that all good!

Always a welcome stopping point and these were real beauties. Definitely caravan friendly. Thanks for the stop and the cache Psalm 118:24 with C3 (Copper Coast Cachers)
First to Find to Rocky Glen Grommets - a quick easy find - a well placed cache - left Bonnie's dog tag and signed log.
I saw this come up, and I agreed with you. Those loos are pretty good, and a real lifesaver on the drive to Pondalowie. But on our mad caching adventure in Clare this weekend, I found some places that could give these a run for their money: GC1C2V5 and Farrell Flat. For a town as small as FF, those loos are great!
