I noticed that this cache has been temporarily disabled for a period of time well in excess of the period of "a few weeks" as contemplated by the cache guidelines published on Geocaching.com. While I feel that Geocaching.com should hold the location for you and block other caches from entering the area around this cache for a reasonable amount of time, we can't do so forever. Please either repair/replace this cache, or archive it (using the *archive listing* link in the upper right) so that someone else can place a cache in the area, and geocachers can once again enjoy visiting this location.
If you plan on repairing this cache, **please log a note to the cache** (not email) within the next 28 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication. Caches archived due to lack of maintenance are no longer unarchived and you will need to submit a replacement as a new cache.

Found the spot where it seems to have been, but like others can confirm not found. Time for an Owner check me thinks
Searched for an hour, what a devious hide and hint. Rocks rocks and more rocks. Nice hide.
A good walk up to gz. I forgot my pen n had hoped there was one in the cache.... so took a selfie with the log book... tftc on a road trip to Darwin.
Was a bit worried when I got to the gz at the shears number of rocks but coming at this one from the right direction made for a quick search TFTC
Yay!!! Had to search for a bit. Nice location. Had fun searching. Nice view of Cloncurry.
Travelling from Brisbane to Karumba and Lawn Hill and whilst in Cloncurry thought we’d do a couple of caches. Great view from up here.

On a rail and bus tour out to Lawn Hill and doing a few caches if we can slip away for a find. Thanks roger ram jet.
Great views of the surrounding district. Interesting place to walk around. TFTC.
A great lunch stop and a nice place to browse the history of the area, as well as the big array of interesting rocks. We had stopped in the ghost town of Mary Kathleen, so it was another good reason to come and visit this spot. Cache was a bit tricky to locate, but was eventually found. TFTC
As we arrived in town today, we set ourselves the challenge of finding most of the caches around Cloncurry, despite the heat. We also wanted to find them as quickly as possible. This one actually came to light fairly quickly and we were pleased to do the signing and move on. Thank you to roger ram jet for placing this cache.
After leaving Julia Creek this morning we headed to Cloncurry and after setting up the van we drove out to find a few of the local caches.
Our second to last find in the heat of the afternoon.
Many thanks for the hide roger ram jet

Drove into town this morning as we continue our wandering around northern Australia after attending the Red Centre Experience over Easter. Pa did some shopping and then we cached around town.
After the sun had cooled down, I walked across the road and up to this cache. Took longer than it should have, but eventually I stamped the log and replaced the cache where I found it.
Thanks for placing this cache for us to find Roger Ram Jet.

We were planning on catching up with friends who are heading back to Melbourne that we haven't seen for a few years we hung around Cloncurry for the morning waiting for time to arrive and what better way to kill time than to go caching.
We had a look around the park as we were coming up here as well as some of the old buildings as well and they were quite interesting as we had visited the old Mary Kathleen township yesterday. We then headed up to gz and then had to be content looking at a nearby piece of machinery until some muggles at the nearby look out finally left. Fortunately we started searching in the right spot and the cache was locate din the third place we looked and our name was added to the log before nay other muggles arrived.
Thanks roger ram jet for the cache.

Thanks to TEAM RED ROO for the replacement log didn't like the surprise though THTC
Hi there roger ram jet - we arrived in town yesterday and today TWO wanted to check out the local visitor center. While there I checked this cache out. A small cliplock container was found behind some rocks but was completely empty, so I returned to the car for a replacement log. Team Gypsys had just arrived and he came back to the cache with me with the new log. The cache and log are in good condition though the container lid is cracked - SL. This is our find #4896 - thanks to roger ram jet for this cache.
Found ground zero.... an empty sostema container laying on surface. Put it back. No sign of log book or anything else.

Me and my girlfriend enjoyed 52 days long travelling (from Brisbane to Brisbane via Cairns, Darwin, Alice Springs, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Gold Coast), sleeping in our car and of course geocaching here!
Greetings from the Czech Republic/Europe! I would like to invite all australian geocachers to Czechia, we have got many excellent caches on amazing places too!

Unlike the cities, Sunday is a quiet day in outback towns with a lot of businesses shut. Had a look around Cloncurry then came to Mary K Park to have a picnic lunch and find the caches. Some great views to be had from GZ. TFTC roger ram jet.
We've been to the Mega at Alice Springs and now on the homeward stretch so still looking for caches. Coongoola may sign small log sheets as CG if there's not much room.
Found in the company of Liz and Bruce and Bruce found this one.
Thanks for the cache roger ram jet.

We are on an express road trip from Brisbane to Alice Springs but taking the opportunity to find a few caches along the way [^] There will be a little more time on our return trip so we will be taking some time out to better explore some of the areas we have had to fly past
We located this cache easily enough and with our name added to the log book, we continued on our long drive.
Thank you roger ram jet for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

Found at 0816. Bit of a climb for and old fellow. Like a previous cacher I found it open with a cracked lid and no log book. Normally I have something I can put in to serve as a log for awhile but today I found I didn't have anything on me. TFTC.
The container was open and contents scattered, unfortunately there was no log to sign... I will send a photo to the CO.
I have rehidden in the same pile of rocks.
Thanks for bringing me to this interesting spot.

Thanks for bringing me to this interesting spot.
First TFTC it was very clever and well hidden however here is a bit of a story, we searched for approximately 20mins looking for a black sewer pipe as it said in the description then we found what appeared to be the remains of a black sewer pipe broken so we were disappointed then after reading the comments and looking at the photos we realised the container had been updated to a Tupperware container. Then we refollowed the directions and found it. Be careful retrieving it there r some nasty ants.
visited this cache while collecting info for the new earthcache close by. a quick find when we located the correct rock spot. TFTC
On our long trip to Western Australia. Enjoyed the time here and the smilie! Tftc
Unfortunately this is going to be one of 'those logs' and I am sorry in advance for the lame generic log, my excuse is we are on the road for 6 weeks, so with limited time and Internet I have decided a generic log is best ATM.
Where are we going in the 6 weeks we are away? Everywhere! Leaving from Gippsland in Victoria The main aim is The Top end, Cape York then back down to the Dinosaur triangle then eventually making our way home.
Thank you for supplying us with a cache to do along the way.
This was a great location, Geology fascinates me and I'm keen to learn more.

Quick find while exploring this great park. Fantastic picnic and playground stop for geo kids. TFTC
Came down from Normanton and stayed overnight at the Discovery Park. Came to grab this on our way to Mount Isa and just managed it before the heavens opened! TFTC
Took a bit of searching ,so many rocks, but finally got there. What a lovely place Cloncurry is. Tftc
Found by Peter and friendly muggle Bill, at 0947hrs, 7/7/16. On our way to the Isa, staying at the Discovery Park for 3 nights. TFTC.
We were out and about in the area for a quick cache grab while the washing was in progress back at the caravan park. We visited Mary Kathleen and stayed there for a week in our van. It was great to see the history here. Lovely views from up the hill too. TFTC
Arrived in time to look around at the gem festival. After buying a couple of items we made our way to the cache. Just a few minutes and the cache was in hand. No tbs in here as per inventory though. .. thanks for the cache. We are here for 1 night and try to find one at each stop...
