Logs
As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Three stikes, I think it is fairly safe to assume that the cache has gone.
I'll give some thought to the continued existance of this cache.

Met some other cachers at GZ so we had about 6 searchers, but we didn't find the cache.
Not sure what time MoneyDork was there, but we didn't see him, and we didn't find the cache either despite a 15 minute look by the two of us.
Found it before we did our cave tour. As such, our Geocache bag of swaps was in the car! TNLNSL
Found after doing the cave tour. We found the co-ords a little out, but it was soon found after resorting to the hint. It was very hot today, so we enjoyed the coolness on underground. TFTC
We are over on KI for a christmas / new year break. We arrived here only to find geo-sons scout leader was also here & doing the same Kelly cave tour.
After the tour we went back down to the car park only to find the cache was back up the hill [B)]

We've been to Australia for almost a month. Drove >5000KM with a campervan, took ~3500 pictures, seen Sydney, Melbourne, Kangaroo Island, Adelaide, Perth ... what a great trip!
And of course we also found quite a number of caches
While beeing on KI we also visited the Caves. TFTC!

Found it (H spotted it first) after visiting the caves and before heading off on a hike along the Hanson Track. It was a great hike! Recommend anyone to try it if you have the time. TFTC SL TNLN
A quick find at the incredible Kelly Hill Caves. It was a little too visible, so we hid it a little more carefully. It took us on a lovely extended walk back to the visitor center. TFTC.
Found just before we went on the last cave tour of the day. Thanks.

Found on the return from a walk to Hanson Bay. Pondered looking under a bush, but Sue had other ideas and found it, so saving me the risk of putting my hand in to the unknown. Took TB Hungry Garfield although name did not match this location. Will locate him elsewhere soon.
We're here on our honeymoon, sleeping in the KIWR, so this one wasn't far away. Nice location, did the grassland trail to the lagoon. TFTC!
Sweet!!! Finally found a cache on KI. Being on a tour bus made it quite a challenge but whilst the rest of the group went caving I went caching. Loved it. Dropped off a TB!! TFTC. Loved learning about this place.

Found during our week long awesome Scout camp with our Scout friends. TNLN SL, TFTC.
Missed the cave tour by 5 minutes but found your cache . Thanks! Maybe we'll see the caves on our next visit.....
Great caves to visit quick easy find between cave tour groups. took coin left blue dino.
Interesting place to visit plus a cache or two as well, took kangaroo key ring leaving behind a frog
Found as a part of Team SaintsMadHouse and now that the kids have grown we each have our own accounts to finddd geocaches with separately wherever we go!Found on a trip with Sandalwood Cottage. The cave tour was the best I have ever been on... and I have done a few. Saw some echidnas and they didnt seem to mind getting quite close to us in their search for ants.
Found and logged on way to adventure caving. Easily found: Geokid said (sarcastically) "it's under my feet" , and there it was...
He normally doesn't get into geocaching, but this one tickled his interest for some reason. We dashed back after the tour and grabbed a gold Eiffel tower keyring swapped for an ANZAC 20cent coin I happened to have in my pocket.
Saw two echidnas on the footpath on the way back too. (see picture)

Found the cache after a lovely BBQ and our cave tour today. Saw a couple of Echidnas on the trail. Dropped off The Lone Star TB. TFTC
A nice little cache on our way to the remarkable rocks. This was a good idea to stop there. Many thanks & greetings from France!
This is a nice geocache well hidden in a wonderful landscape. Many thanks & greetings from France
Found both caches, side by side, tucked away in their hiding spot. Picked out which was the replacement cache and retrieved it at the request of the cache owner. Found an entry in the logbook, dated 24/12/2010, "Kelly Hill staff found, donated shell too nothing, Good Luck!". Thanks for the cache sushilord.
Found and signed both logs. We thought the caves were amazing. Thanks for the cache.

As CL+LL indicated there were two caches here, so we signed the logs in both. This cave is well worth a visit. The show cave shows nature at her most interesting and wonderful, and according to others we met the Adventure Caving experience is worth a go too. TFTC shushilord and whoever owns the other one
Despite being a little freaked by the previous log mentioning a tiger snake encounter I set off after this cache anyway. It was a nice easy find following a great tour of the caves.

At last the sun has come today for more than five minutes and what do I do, I walk in the shade of the gum trees and out odf the polar winds. Today I walked lots of kilometres but enjoyed the sunshine here. Thanks
[;D] Took the walking trail to the cave entrance to meet the Ranger for our guided tour, Spotted another Tiger Snake..Cleaned our shoe's, No Muggles around, Dropped in visiting TB'S and Geo Coins, waypoint use. We came back for the cache and Tour, Today as it was closed, missed the last tour yesterday. I must say it was well worth it. Did not find any TB's in cache. TFTCSL
Came here for the cave tour and the cache. Cache was found on the way to the cave entrance. As we were the only people on the tour, there were no muggles to interrupt our search. Was a nice walk to GZ, and we really enjoyed the cave tour - didn't try "adventure caving" though.
Found at 4:10pm and TNLN
thanks sushilord

Working on the island for the week. We're staying at Bush Getaway, which is only 5km from this cache, and I highly recommend it. A glorious autumn morning for a nice short walk in the bush. Easy find. T TB TFTC
A replacement cache is now sitting at GZ and all is good to go.
I have put a TB and a couple of pathtags in the cache.
Please keep your eyes open, just in case the original cache is still around GZ somewhere.

Despite the DNFs...I figured that I would stop and give this one a try also. Ended up with the same results as the two previous seekers. I reckon it's been muggled. Due to very strong winds this weekend, the crowds were sparse and I was blessed with great solitude for an all-out search effort.
Had troble locating this one, searched high and low, had to give up as heat was getting to me.
A easy cache after a very informative and funny tour through the cave. TFTC!
Took nothing, left turtle travelbug that likes to stay close to water. Maybe someone can take it to the lagoon and take a picture there?

Made a meal of this cache. Missed the trail and followed the arrow. Found a couple interesting holes int the scrub. Tok the easy way home.
Found this one just before doing the adventure cave.
Great little spot.
I did move it slightly as it was in plain view of walkers. still within a meter of the spot i found it.
thanks

Another interesting spot on KI –interesting tour of the caves followed. Took keyring and left an eraser. TFTC
Quick and easy find whilst waiting to go on the 10:30 tour of the caves. Cache is in plain sight. Not sure if this is meant to be the case, so left it as it was. Coin Out Soldiers In. TFTC
If you are there, you really have to go in to the caves with a tour. It's fantastic. Thank you for showing us that spot.

Found it with the help of other Surf Lifesavers while we were on a leadership development camp at Vivonne Bay. Turned out to be a great week, caving, hiking, kayaking, swimming, surfing, and then running a 'Nippers' day for the local kids at Parndarna school. Left a pack of tissues, took necklace. Thanks very much for the cache!
Quick find after taking the cave tour. Nice to get underground on a hot day! Took bouncy ball, left keychain. Third find with Israeli muggle friends in tow. Cheers & TFTC!
We were too early for the cave tour, unfortunately, but that meant we had the hill to ourselves.
Ridgeseeker made the find pretty quickly. We signed in and the B-2 Bomber TB did a touch-and-go.
It is very fast, and the mission is top secret...
We stopped by while on a 6 week vacation from Alaska. Thanks for getting us to another interesting spot.

Arrived early (or was it too late for the previous tour) so took the longer walk up to the cave tour entrance.
Passed by the old entrance which is now the exit from the Adventure caving tour (with the exit being a long climb up a very very long ladder, and then through a trap door onto the platform the rangers have built to show off the old entrance), and then just as we were about to get to the tour start found GZ (its only about 30m from the tour start - very nice). Kids and Sandy missed it, but after zeroing out elsewhere checked the obvious and found the cache. Signed log and the kids swapped a ball for a slightly smaller harder ball to ensure the cache closed easily. Also took a few photos and passed a few travellers through to clock up some kms.
The cave tour was excellent and it was quite fascinating how the initial cave finder/explorer labelled each cavern he found whilst exploring, by marking a cavern roof with a letter using soot from his candle. He also added a coin into the roof so that light from his candle would catch the coin and he'd refind his label. The labels are still present and so are some coins. I think the last letter used was "T". Also interesting is the use of glass plates to check for movement, and thankfully none have cracked so the cave system is extremely stable. Plus there is a seismograph located in the park entrance building.

Had our cave tour and went looking for the cache after all the muggles had left, found the cache sitting on the hand rail in full view of all that passed by. Geo-Grandkids said looks like someone has left their play lunch behind. Logged our visit and placed the cache out of site where we think it should be.

Found this cache before setting off on the 18km walk to Hanson Bay. Although the weather when we left was pretty terrible-rain and wind, it soon cleared up and turned into a lovely day. Left a geocoin from Scotland whose goal is to travel to Australia, so our holiday here fulfilled this perfectly!

Found this cache just as a tour was starting so all the muggles were otherwise distracted.
We were all toured out by this time of the day so we didn't do the tour, a cave is a cave.

11th cache on Kangaroo Island. Took us some time to find the cache because M missed it in the first place. So we did some unnecessary bushbashing but then J had a look in the obvious spot again and suddenly there it was

Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Dropped TB, and returned the cache before any muggles emerged from the depths.
Yes, My 1st cache on Kangaroo Island. I wouldnt belive that I do so. Its far away from my home (the other side of the World). I found it easily, nice and peacefull place.

We just arrived in the morning at the caves. There weren't many tourist, so it was easy to find the cache. Aftter that we vistited the caves. The tour wasn't very long and not very far, so we were a little bit dissapointed. But the area around it is nice!

A technical [red]FTF[/red] I think. I slightly relocated this one so it was less visible (as asked to by Sushi). All staff here know about the geocache so it is fine with them. New coords 35 58.873 136 54.429. Caves Dinc (looked like the log) had signed the book with sushi so not sure if they are a muggle or.....was I silver...
Check out the seismograph in the shop. The machine is like that at Hawker, an Earthcache for us players. Not much activity here in the last few days.
I didn't venture into the caves this time as time was short (thanx to Mark who patiently waited in the Hilux.....).
Now some secret squirrel stuff. Take a look at the map (pic). See Hansen Bay [?] - just around the corner. Do yourself a favour and take the road down there. It's only a few Ks. This has got to be one of the top spots on KI. So top that they built the Southern Ocean Lodge here. You won't see it, as its totally hidden.... you may have heard about on the news. You will glimpse the enterance gates towards the end of the road. Don't worry, you won't miss those (pics) Build by tricky Dick Smith's daughter and her husband ... it is a secret lodge where you pay $1000's per night. You won't find a phone number in the book for it...just an 02 Sydney number. Roll in at the airport from Switzerland or LA and you are picked up in an unmarked white shuttle Van (with blacked out windows).... Each of the lodges are staggered so that when you are there, all you see is the lovely Hansen Bay. It's as if you are isolated.
If you want a sneak preview, get on a boat , or... park at Hansen Bay and walk up the track to the flats on the hill (where it says guests only). You will see an old log blocking the road.. continue up the track to the cliffs and walk around the edge (not too close as they are undercut)... continue walking and look west.. you will see the lodge in the distance. Bring binos or a good zoom for a paparazzi style experience.
Clear skies and our thanx to Sushilord for having a FTF island experience.
