Done this puzzle long time ago so it was nice to pick up the final today as we were in the areaStill nice and dry
Up this way with ABCDF4 for a few daysSo to the CO for making our time away enjoyable
Solved this ages ago but never searched for the cache until today! Methodical find. No lid. SL TFTC
Just returned from a fantastic day on Tiritiri Island. Quick grab. Lid missing. Log dry. TFTC
We are staying in this part of the world as the only thing i want to do this trip is go to Tiritiri (tomorrow's excursion). I headed down to check the ferry and grabbed this pre-solved cache. Third spot I checked so was a quick find.TFTC TheWonderStuff
¯_( ͠• ͜ʖ ͡•)_/¯ Solved this just recently, I'm trying to solve a mystery cache for every day of the year, not in the same year though, that would be extreme to say the least.
¯_( ͠• ͜ʖ ͡•)_/¯ So today, I decided I wanted to make the most of the very warm weather and go for a bus ride. This trip from my place to this cache final involved 3 bus trips. I caught the 133 into town, then a 240m walk to pick up the NX1 to Hibiscus Station at Silverdale, then picked up the bus to Gulf Harbour, from there a 1km walk to this cache! But after that walked several more km's to pick up a few more caches before my bus back to Hibiscus Coast bus station, then downtown, then home. Been an excellent day!
¯_( ͠• ͜ʖ ͡•)_/¯ Cheers Cam for the hide.

Looked for this earlier this year but obviously didn't spend long enough looking. A lot of water has gone under the bridge since then, and today most of it is seeping into my boots. Had a slightly more thorough look this time and checked somewhere that Daddypig had checked and found the cache.
Glad to finally tick this one off the list.

On a lovely summers day. Thankfully there was the photo to use as I messed up the puzzle and was 32 meter off gz. TFTC
Like the previous cacher I knew I was in the correct place because of the spoiler pictures, but after checking as many nooks and crannies as I could stick my fingers in I couldn't find anything.
I solved this one quite some time ago but don't often come up here. Today, trying to find enough caches for the April Challenge I came this way back from Shakespeare.
Like the previous cacher I searched as much of GZ as I could but no sign of a cache.

Quickly solved before heading out. Took a little bit of poking around before cache was in hand. Tftc
A quick solve just after we arrived at the freedom camping spot near by.
After a bit of lunch mrs rattll went for a walk to pick up a couple of caches before the cricket starts.
I had to be mindful of passing muggles as I searched, but managed to find it reasonably quickly.
Thanks for setting this up

cracked the puzzle and had a very quick look while walking the dog (I need a seeing eye dog! ) , PAF for extra clues, but didn't have time for another look before The Rain came...
Brilliant puzzle to solve .Enjoyed very much thankyou. So with the weekend in Auckland it certainly was wonderful to sign off thankyou.
Found whilst out with mum keylev and a group of Team SEAC. Had lots of fun today.
Thanks for the cache.
Thanks for the cache.
So today a crowd of 14 Team SEAC members encompassing 10 different caching names travelled north to the park and attempted all caches in the park. Logs were signed SEAC to save space. The weather today was perfect. After the park we found a few more caches in the area. We solved this cache in anticipation of being in the area today. Another nice quick find with so many people looking.
After a morning of caching in Shakespeare Park some of the team SEAC team continued on caching as it turns out well into the night!!
Can't remember when I solved this one as it must have been so long ago so nice to make the find here today.
Thanks for the cache.

Having completed all the caches in Shakespeare Regional Park Team SEAC headed int he general direction of home grabbing some caches on the way
Was lucky to be with the group when this was found.

Headed up this way today after one of our group suggested (for the fourth attempt) to take a walk around the park....as we had camped up here a few times before, we jumped at the opportunity, plus it was an opportunity of catching up with the group after being locked down by Covid-19.....parked, and headed into the park.
Now out of the park collecting nearby caches....Luckily was part of the group as someone had done the work on this one....
Signed in as SEAC to save logbook space.

Team SEAC was out in force today with a mission to knock off the caches to be found in Shakespear Park at the end of Whangaparaoa. This had been on the cards for quite a while now but had always been thwarted by either COVID or bad weather. Today was our fourth attempt at getting the crew together and claiming this area. Having conquered the park, it was time for a few more.
With Shakespear Park done and dusted we set our sights a little further afield. There were a few puzzles out this way that had been solved and were just waiting to be picked up, this being one of them. We parked near GZ and ambled over to a suspicious-looking place for hiding geocaches. We were all over it and soon came up with goods from a rather clever hiding place. (Log signed as Team SEAC to preserve log space)

Nicely hidden. Out on a caching expedition with friends including a new cacher who we set up his own account earlier this afternoon.
220. Made this solve a couple of weeks ago and new we would be up here to grab it. Nice quick find here. TFTC
We really enjoyed solving this this easy puzzle in the car !
Just the right level of difficulty for me and Supernannny.!
Was a slightly tricky hide but I soon felt the sneaky mint tin .
Many thanks

Well I am not sure how long I have had this solved for, over 4 years? so today was the day, that I could at last get this one removed from my puzzles solved folder
Bumped my head a few times, thanks for that took a more methodical approach, and at last found the cache.
Happy to be signing the log, thanks TheWonderStuff for the puzzle and the hide

On the way back from another cache and stopped off here. I checked under and around both sides before a more methodical search revealed the cache and added my name and replaced as found.
Weekend's here again so a couple of days out planned to get a break from the normal routine. I decided that a return to Shakespear Regional Park would be just the thing, we last headed out during the August lockdown and didn't touch any caches but for sure were able to sight some of them. All better on the day today and a few found in and around the park before a trip back home 'via Puhoi', lol, and Crocodile Island in Orewa.

We were nearly done for the day but came for a wee drive along here as it is an interesting spot to drive around in and ducked in here to look for the cache, quite literally. Can't remember too much about the solve as it was quite a while ago that we did it. Anyway, found the cache reasonably quickly in a likely spot and were happy there weren't too many people around so we didn't have to explain ourselves. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache over such a long time - nice to get an oldie. Cheers!
Still new to solving puzzles so very pleased to solve this one. Had fun with it. Thanks.
#1106. This has been on my solved list for a long time and finally I was in the area, going to Ripples as I really felt like a scoop ice cream.
Wandered over to the final location after the ice cream and I was worried after reading all the previous logs that it would take a really long time to find but with the help of my torch I was able to find the cache in less than 60 seconds!
There were lots of muggles around so I'm glad it didn't take me too long to find. It would have been difficult to explain what I was doing down there.
Thanks very much for the cache!

Great to find a puzzle off my solved list. I'm down from Paihia visiting family during the school holidays. My daughter in law was keen to come out this way so I looked up my puzzles and off we all set. We hunted in a few places before finding it. We then enjoyed a nice stroll in the area before going further out for another walk. Thanks for the puzzle cache
I don’t remember when I solved this puzzle or how but noticed it was nearby to our walk today so decided to come and see if we could make a find.As other logs have mentioned the systematic approach paid off for us today.Got a bit excited when I spotted it and banged my head but all good now.
Another nice puzzle solved in the UK before coming to NZ. We know this area from a previous visit, but I wasn’t into solving puzzles at that stage. Like many people before me, and I suspect many after, I made a meal of this one but it is indeed where are you expected to be in one of the many hidey-holeso. You have to search systematically. TFTC
A puzzle we solved in UK some months ago - we were getting a little worried that the search was taking a long time! So as others have said, a careful search was started. Antnich dives in while I chatted to some muggles who were curious as to what we were doing! Success!! TFTC
Took a slightly alternate route to GZ , as a consequence enjoyed a lovely walk on a sunny, Spring morning. Took a few minutes to find the hiding spot but the systematic approached worked well. Looks like you are due another log as the full one had been replaced by yesterdays finder. TFTMysteryC.
I have had this puzzle on my solved list for so long, but the last few times I headed out this way I didn't end up near this particular area.
With the forecast for sun and warm weather, I was keen to get out and stretch my legs while enjoying the sunshine. Decided to bring my niece and nephew along for the hike of Shakespear Reserve.
After our hike, we were on a mission to find ice-cream, but along the way, we stopped to find more caches. Mr 8 waited in the car as Miss 5 and I raced across the road and started our search. My niece quickly spotted the cache, which I expected to take longer. I added some waterproof paper as the log was full.

This was the first of the series that we found and will definitely have a look to solve and find the rest. As pervious logs have said the methodical approach works and the paper log is full. Had to write up the side of it.
Solved over a nice lunch at the nearby cafe & quick walk to claim for second puzzle cache! Log book full but found a spot to sign. TFTC
Solved the puzzle while having afternoon tea. Although I did not know the song, it was not too hard to work out. Nice stroll frpm our campsite and the cache was found without too much trouble. The log was full but managed to get our name on. Normally We would replace but have no spare logs with us this holiday. Tftc
Was up in the area today to meet a bunch of cachers but had time first so detoured round here so I could grab this solved puzzle. Made the find way too hard but got there eventually. TFTC and for D/T 1.5/1.5 find #1111
This one has been on our solved list for a very long time. We were in the area today, so headed to GZ and after a short search we located the cache. TFTP
Yay a puzzle I can solve. Solved prior to coming to NZ so just had to find it today.
Lots of spots where this one could be.
TFTC nice puzzle and hide. Greetings from Adelaide Australia

Had to look at a boat here today to do some repairs to so thought at least I should do one cache. Able to solve this puzzle before heading there. GZ had alot of sharp edges to contend with and lots of places to look. It was just a matter of time before finding. SLTFTC
Stayed nearby last night and quickly worked out the coordinates. Pulled up adjacent to gz and started the search. Took quite a while and systematic searching. Wasn't quite what I imagined. Thanks for the puzzle and cache The Wonderstuff
We staying O.N. at the ferry park..saw this puzzle and thought great we will solve it ..nice puzzle and even better hide thanks wonderstuff well done
First cache of this sort my daughter had worked out, she was very happy. However after a long search at GZ we could not complete the task. We will be back.!!
Out and about for a spot of caching fun on this cloudy day. Solved this one yesterday. This is actually the first MIP I have attempted to solve. This puzzle ended up being a straight forward solve ad I quickly earned the checker's approval. Might have to have a look at the others, sometime. The hunt at GZ, however, proved more lengthy. While the cache was hidden as expected, it took a methodical search of GZ to complete the formalities on this one. Cheers for the puzzle cache placement!
We have not done many puzzle caches so very pleased to have solved and found the cache. Lovely day here today. Thank you for the cache.
Nice quick solve and easily located. Love those puzzles! TFTC. On holiday from Wellington.
Nice find and thanks for the puzzle. I have stayed up here in my motorhome, when we were allowed to park on the grass. Not so good now we have to stay on tarmac.

Found with Mr Cleverclogs and Whanau after introducing a muggle friend to fish feeding close by. Nice quick find where I expected it to be. Thanks for this puzzle series.
Out cleverclogs whanau feeding the nearby fish, my favourite was the stingray. Nice quick find.
I'm joining the westie crew for the day over on Tiri tomorrow so decided to park up overnight at Gulf Harbour in the geo motorhome and catch the ferry from here. A nice quick find before dinner. All good, cheers
Picked up on the way back from Tiritiri Matangi after a fabulous days birdwatching! TFTC
Solved this one yesterday in preparation for our trip to the area; not a song or group I am familiar with. Cache is still tucked securely in its hiding spot. TFTC.

A nice simple puzzle but a not so simple find! Bertie, Pazza, Geocchi and I had a few minutes to spare before catching the ferry to Tiri so after reading some logs we did a methodical search and Pazza eventually found the nicely hidden cache.
With Merlot, Pazza & Geocchi. As mentioned by them...it was a a quick solve, but took us a little longer to find. We were eventually successful after a methodical search. Tftc
A nice simple puzzle with a tricky little hide. Found with Bertie, Merlot and Geocchi, before catching a ferry and after taking advice of another cachers log by searching methodically. Tftc!
My first cache in New Zealand. After a rainy start to the day, we were happy to get out an explore the area. Such a beautiful area and no muggles to be seen. TFTC
Silved puzz to the satisfaction of geochecker but no reward at gz. ? Need to check it is still there.
I made 2 mistakes solving this puzzle [xx(] but the cache was found without too much trouble more by chance than anything as it wasn't that easy, TFTC
Rain had us trapped inside for a few days so had time to solve this. A break in the rain today so headed out to GZ to make the grab. TFTC
Found today when we were trying to go to Tiri.....too windy and our boat was cancelled!
! Sneaky wee hide ! Thanks!

Out in the area today collecting some caches to help with our Geo-Licence challenge requirements. No problems solving this puzzle, and a sneaky wee hide, but didnt' fool us for long. Thanks for the puzzle and cache!
Solved the puzzle prior to coming to NZ. Continuing my worst day of caching in 2013, another DNF here after a 15 minute search under the bridge. Thanks anyway.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We spent the afternoon picking up a few caches around Whangaparaoa. Quickly solved the puzzle recently and we were in the area today, where it took us a bit of searching before we found the well hidden cache. TFTC!

Day 2 of my trip to Auckland for the Mega event. Today I decided to head north to the Whangaparoa Peninsula to take in some of the views and then to explore the Dairy Flat area to look for some smiles before finishing off the day with some Fish and Chips. The day did not quite start out as intended, so I ended up going straight up the motorway.
It was relatively quiet so I was able to look around GZ and eventually spotted the cache tucked away.

Easily solved this quickly in the field with my phone as this enabled me to clean out the caches on this little peninsula area. I must have got one of my last digit calculations wrong as my calculated GZ was off but after reading through a few previous logs and enlarging my search area I made the find. Thanks!
this one had us going in circles till we re red the cache page and got on the right line, soon in hand and off we went again

Thought we were in the wrong place for a minute or two but finally got there in the end. Thanks for a great cache
Solved this well over a year ago. Glad to be on the peninsula today to collect a smilie! TFTPC.
Solved this cache when parked the campervan overnight next to the harbour. Had a smileyface for solving the puzzle, but no smiley for finding the cache
A return visit, after an extensive search, had to text to the owner, sorry to have disturbed you at conference, but thanks for the hint, it helped. Yay, well hidden, thanks for a puzzle we could actually solve!! So glad to finally have a smiley on this one. SL. TFTC.

You get so excited to solve a puzzle and finally today had time to make our way out to GZ only to be soooo disappointed.... despite our best efforts, we just couldn't work it out. We must be rusty for a few weeks without any caching. Oh well another trip needed for this one.....
Out with Cabhassett today but even with two pairs of eyes looking and two pairs of hands searching all the nooks & crannies we weren't able to find the cache so no smiley faces for us unfortunately.
Did the work on this one earlier in the week, made the pick up just before hopping on a boat to Tiritiri Matangi for a night walk. First find of the series for me - time to get stuck into the rest.... TFTC
