Our first night cache and nano. Great fun to add to our growing list! Charlie and Ilaria
This is a busy spot. Using a detailed photography decoy plan managed to retrieve and replace between muggle cars coming and going. TFTC.
Why is it left to me to handle the bushes one! Sigh! I got it after pretending to be super interested in the plaque to the two cars and one motorbike that decided to come out of the dark! TFTC! Added some paper to the log roll as it was full.
Found on my Saturday morning walk after Parap market. Good cache but log is completely full and disintegrating- often an issue with nanos. Thanks for the cache.
Team Omam from the Netherlands has only one aunt left. And as she will have her 100th birthday early February, we decided to join the birthday party. But …., she lives in Sydney Australia! An excellent opportunity for us to explore this continent once again and find Geocaches along the way. We will do a 3.5 weeks trip! At places where we will stay for a few days (Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney and Darwin), we will organize Meet and Greet events. We will try to find mainly caches with high favorite points, caches from 2000 and 2001, earth caches, webcam caches, virtuals and letter box hybrids.
A find to fill a gap in our geo-calendar. This was an easy cache to find but took much longer to retrieve. Timing was everything. The log is full but we squeezed z&e in under the cache name. TNLNSL TFTC, very cool
Today we explored Darwin and surrounds using geocaching as a guide. Managed a quick find for us.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Found it!! Out and about with the GF "Kym's Adventure" on a Sunday cache run to see how many caches we could fit in one day. This was number 22 of 23. Hehehe always did like a good "diversion" grab!! What was going to be the muggle diversion trick today...as always the "lets pretend to take a photo with the statue" trick Kym's Adventure decide to go for the grab while I took the pretend pic sat on a near by bollard and signed off! I did the honours of replacing the cache with another photo diversion taken by Kym TFTC
Searching without Muggles around, but no more place for a log. So here is a photo-log.

Quick find! Log looked to full to sign, and to fragile to fully unroll! TFTC
An easy find in the afternoon to keep our streak going. Muggle activity was fairly low which made grabbing and replacing the cache alot easier.

Found while doing some night caching on a business trip to Darwin. Quick and easy find. TFTC.
Found as an assistant to a cacher prior to becoming addicted. Now able to log it as a proper find for us.
Carpark was busy but very few people out and around. Quick pretend photo of geohusband with the jockey and the cache was in hand.
Quick find, could see it before we touched it. Note: do not drop the tiny nano in the bush, no good things can come of this. TFTC
Quick find with NK64, Earth99 and Mafiagrl despite muggle presence during a race meeting. More time spent finding nano after I dropped it in the bushes (I do not recommend this!). TFTC
Set out with the regular crew to find this one as part a mission to achieve the Five in One Challenge Cache (GC52DG0). It was race day, but not too many people around GZ and all the parked cars gave us some cover. EMMF almost lost this micro when it slipped from her hands, luckily earth99 was able to rescue it! TFTC
Out caching in this area of Darwin this morning. Doing the tour of the sights and taking in the magnificent views. May be Sunday is not a good time to do these as many families out enjoying themselves. Only three days left in Darwin and tomorrow we are driving 60Klm south for a look down there. Took awhile to find my way in to the area as my GPSr had me on the wrong side of the facility. Drove around to the other side and parked close by. Quick walk over to GZ and there is really only one way to approach tis one. Very quick find. TFTC NTSTROM.
Quick and easy find! Don't walk on the grass... Highly discreet potholes everywhere!

This was found on a great geocaching tour together with Landlockedsailors
We had made a list of caches that we wanted to find and then we found some extra as we came along. It was a really good day with some good finds!
This was one of the not planned ones, but a good one. We came right by, and why not find this one too? As soon as we drove into the area I knew where to look. Nice place for a cache!
Thanks a lot for the cache

Quick afternoon find in between people walking into the club here. Replaced the log as well. TFTC
A quick find with iluvtrekking . We took the last spot on the log sheet so a new one will be needed. Thanks NTSTROM
Found with richlink, we took the last empty space on the log book, sorry we didn't have a replacement with us. TFTC NTSTROM.
There were plenty of muggles about today, but thankfully they were in the nearby building so we were able to grab this cache with minor issues, and a little bit of stealth.
Cache log is getting really full and could do with a replacement.

Caching around Darwin, picking up a few loose ones.
A quick find, signed and replaced while no muggles in the area.
Thanks for the cache, NTSTROM.

Looking at photo of statue and then seeing the real thing I was surprised to see how small the statue was thanks for hide.
Found today with Spy Guy Kip, Will Powers, Ben Bat & Nick on a quick cache run!
Was a tricky one - staring ins muggle in the face at the GC

great little hide. work just out the front of it cant believe that it has taken me this long to go looking for it. glad that the bushes are configured in that way otherwise my short little arms wouldnt have been able to catch it. TFTH
We arrived in Darwin today & have set up our van in the caravan park.
After lunch we headed out to Fanny Bay area to sight sea & look for some caching.
This was a quick park & grab, had to take the moment with no one around.
Thanks NTSTROM

It was very crowded but with the permission of an official who was regulating the trafic and looked into another direction we soon got the cache.

On another bike ride around Darwin, on yet another boringly, predictable sunny Darwin day, the caches were anything but
I rode into the racecourse to find this cache
Well the cache name gave away GZ !!
I rode the bicycle up to the life size statue and soon whipped out a cache
I wandered off a bit to perform the ritual of 'nano' logbook extraction, signing, re-rolling and putting the whole tiny shebang back together
Then I could ride past GZ again to quickly re-hide the cache before anyone wondered why I was hanging around

TFTC. Thankfully an easy find as my iPhone showing 18m away at the find. Looking forward to my new GPS arriving.
Bikes again today. A ride down to the Botanical Gardens and back with Bettyboo3747.
Our first for the day. As soon as we rounded the corner, we knew where it must be.
Surprising number of cars in the car park though for a week day.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 3583. Back on the bicycles for a 4th day of caching and sight-seeing around town. It turned out to be an 8 hour day on the bikes with 15 smilies and 3 DNF's.
This was the first for the day with an obvious looking GZ as we rounded the corner. So many cars parked here early this morning but nice and clear where we wanted to look. An easy find. TFTC

On a Trip to the top end for the V8 Race weekend 14 days of driving and racing
walked straight up to this must have been the easiest nano

Spent the day out with Honeysucker grabbing as many caches as we could around Darwin while showing him the sights (it is his first time to the Top End).
What an interesting spot and a quick find. TFTC.

Finally managed to nab this little sucker. Amazing how many people are here every day of the week at all hours of the day.

On loan to the NT for a little bit so taking the chance to capture some caches in my old stomping ground. Great to be back North and see so many new caches/cachers around. Found. TFTC. tnlnsl.
Nice little hide but you need long arms for this one...or have no fear of the thorns on the Bougainvillea! Thanks NTSTROM
Finally found this one after weeks of trying, thanks to geofriend mtbbandit. Sneaky hide!
I was able to grab this one and replace it undetected. As I was walking back the car the traffic suddenly increased..... it must have been the lunch rush

Gps wasnt working very well but figured it must be at the most obvious place. And it was. Needs a new log sheet, almost full!
Had a brief look, will have to come back at night, too many muggles around today
Took the advice of the cache notes and went looking after dark. Grand Final weekend also meant most people were otherwise engaged.

Found at 11.45am GAFF1 in the company of Riddell. The hardest part about this cache was getting over the soiled nappy to get to the cache. After we retrieved it a turf club employee came by and with a pair of pliers took the nappy down!
Thanks NSTROM.
Thanks NSTROM.
Luckily the Jockey hasn't gone "walkabout" like he has in previous years for the Darwin cup. T4TC.
another quick 'scooter' by..should have picked it up cup day...ex jockey/trainer geohubby retrieved it. TFTC
WanderingAus wandered by on day 27 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, after dropping the WanderingMrs (aka SWMBO) at Nightsbridge Sports Club for a couple of hours of line dancing, and made a very quick and easy GAFF 0 find of the cache without even using the "real" gpsr. TomTom and the cache name showed me where it was and a walk past revealed it to my gaze, then a "close-up photo" of the plaque gave me cover for the retrieve, and again for the return.
There was no space left on the log, so I took the liberty of replacing it with a nice new log from one of my nanos. If the cache owner cares to tell me where to put the original log I'll drop it appropriately, or if I get no contact I'll drop it into another NTSTROM cache that has enough room, labelled and packaged for the CO.
My find No 3640, T old log L new log SL.
