I was supposed to come here with friends but ended up on a solo tour of the Peninsula, while they caught squid over the other side.TFTC
This rocked. A sea lion looked on below. A cache was found. Smiles all around! A cache a day sure keeps the boredom away... [:o)]Much appreciation for this cache listing Rocky Glen Grommets and it's ongoing care. ------------------------------ ------------------------------ Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) Work gets in the way - and some may take longer to log than others due to mixed technology and need for sleep! The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)] I do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log... someone actually did read to the end and alerted me to just a project GC badge that requires long logs. Is that all? Oh well, thanks for reading!Well at least it's not as bad as finding a mint tin! Did you get that... stop putting out rusty mint tins, just stop it, now!!! Much catching up of logs lately, as barely enough time to cache around work and logging has hit a pause... but, you know, prioriities... work's just gotta leave time for a cache and notes everywhere! C'est fini... For now... ... until then Ce sera !-------------------------------Oh wait... have you snagged a tag lately ? Get out there and see snagthetag dot com for a fun side game that gives f t f chasers and sparkly thing chasers something extra fun to do... It's a game where giving a little and becoming a hider shows your support and keeps the fun alive for all. And there are NO BL**DY MINT TINS so it must be good Enjoy
Fortunate enough to spend a week camping here. We are not sure what we were in awe of most, the prestine ocean with regular dolphins visiting or the stars at night, which are as bright as bright can be. Thanks for the cache
What a spectacular view from the camping area and gz Found cache with earthlightTftcFav point
Young old fella pathtag found in cache and retrieved.A fav point for the scenery .Found with The X-Trailers TFTC

Road tripping and beach camping for a while and taking some well deserved relaxation time. The not so small one ventured out on her own to find this cache whilst the rest of the family was at the nearby camp. Within minutes the cache was in her hand.Nice hide TFTC
It was easy to find slightly hard to get to when waking there but easy to grab, if you can’t find it circle the area and you’ll be sure to find it. It’s in great condition too. Well done.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. After spending a week in the Peterbough area we headed to Minlaton for the Crab series and other caches. Thanks Rocky Glen Grommets
A beautiful sunny day caching south along the coast from Wauraltee Beach to Hardwicke Bay.
Many thanks for the hide Rocky Glen Grommets

Found on my York Peninsula caching Odyssey. I enjoyed the scenery and the caches. Thanks RGG and Dazzatron.
Replaced as old container was destroyed
A short stop here today, managed to find the cache nicely hidden
With 2.5 days free and nothing to do, what better than to head to the yorke peninsula for a few days. I made a plan of trying to clean up majority of the caches on the peninsula going from cache to cache. Managed to come away with only a few left and 247 finds for the few day trip.
Thanks for the cache

We are camping nearby and I took a wander to find this cache ... the container beads to be replaced as it is broken. TFTC
Another quick find but the container is in dire need of replacing. Brittle and broken. Thank you for the placement of the Rocking Barkers cache Rocky Glen Grommets maintaind by Dazzatron/Margieh find number 7905 on 19 May 2021 at 4:16 pm

We decided to camp near here for the night and on checking the phone found a cache. A bonus! It was cold, windy and a bit wet, but just before sundown we went for a quick walk and found this cache. The co-ords were very good which meant it was found easily. Our name was added to the log and we headed back again. Our thanks go to the CO and maintenance crew for this cache.
A bit of a walk in the sand found this one, some muggles around but it is Easter after all! TFTC
Heading down to the bottom of the peninsula for a couple of days with LLL51 stopping for a few caches along the way. [^]
A quick find after a little walk in the dunes.
Thanks for the cache Rocky Glen Grommets.

Day 2 of our trip and today's plan is to head towards along the west side of the peninsula, once again the weather was perfect, its great to be back on the Yorke peninsula again and what was suppose to be a overnight stay ended up being a 2 nights and 3 days stay on the Yorke peninsula, we managed to find quite a few while here and on our third day we had to head back earlier than planned after car issues, the weather was very pleasant while here and we look forward to returning back here to keep finding more caches, we thank all the COs for placing these caches for us to find and making our visit very enjoyable. TFTC
I knew it had to be in there but it took several circuits before I eventually spotted it - easily missed. TFTC.
OOpps..Found with a few muggle fishermen down on the rocks, but they where looking the other way. As I was putting the cache back in its hid, my thumb punched a huge hole through the lid...Oopps, perhaps it was due for replacement anyway. Lucky we had a spare container to replace it. TFTC
Away for a few days before getting to SYP to place a few caches.
Not what I was expecting but made the find.
Thanks to all who placed caches.

Before we were to continued on our slow northward path there were a few outstanding caches to attend to. We did the loop Minlaton to Minlaton via Port Rickaby and the odd side road.
Lovely little camping area. Thanks for the cache Rocky Glen Grommets.

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia after having attended Oz Mega.
We stayed overnight at Minlaton with iluvtrekking and were able to leave our caravans onsite until we returned to collect them after a late lunch.
During the morning we toured across to the west coast , Bluff Beach and up to Port Rickaby before returning via Koolywurtie. We had some navigation problems and had to backtrack on more than 1 occasion. [xx(] [B)]
Some very interesting historical locations seen so thanks to all the Geocachers who have helped us to tour this Peninsula. Another interesting day touring with friends.

Last cache for the night. This little beach is a favourite of ours, we often come here
Short holiday at Pt Rickaby, hoping to fish, but no real boatramp for our boat, so a quick look around for a better ramp, while geocaching. Tree??? Left our travel pathtag. TFTC
Finally we're home and can log the finds we made on our trip to Yorke Peninsula. This is a really lovely area. We'd definitely like to return and camp here at some stage. Catching squid would be nice, too. TFTC

Our 11th of yet another successful day on the Yorke Peninsula.
fishing isn't our forte, more like drowning worms. The location is great for a cache though.
Took: Nothing
Left: Yoyo

What a lovely view, quite a few campers in tents, with log fires going, passed some collecting wood, a peaceful place, I hope they enjoy the peace and quiet. Took path tag. TFTC
What a beautiful day to visit! It's not the first time we've been here, but enjoyed coming in again today to find a geocache. Thank you.
What a great little spot. We thought snorkeling or fishing from this area would be really good - thanks Rocky Glen Grommets
It would probably be quite nice to go off and explore the marine life there but, so many caches, so little time
