Didn't realise this was offline until we stopped and read the cache notes.
Decided to have a look anyways.
We found the original container AND it's lid about 30cm away sitting in the pine needles.
Poured the water out and replac3d lid.
Unfortunately the logbook is mash and un-useable. And we did not have another, so CO will need to visit still, unless another finder can place a new book.

Thanks

Great views. This fine was quite an easy one, so we parked the car and went for a little walk up the road to check out the veiw.
It wasn't too hard to find which was great because this was our first find. We went out for a walk and decided to do some geocaching to make the walk more interesting, and it was. Thanks.
Found on an enjoyable days' caching with Gemini7.
Dropped off 10 yrs of Geocaching TB to continue its travels.

One of the few we actually drove to as most of our finds we walked to in Goolwa. What a great spot to live in! Took GC. SL TFTC!
The rain was finally starting to clear as we made our way to this cache. Found the cache nicely concealed. Took a pig and left a blue star pencil sharpener. Dropped of Badlands GC. TFTC Mundoo!
Lots of workmen around here cutting back trees but we were able to creep in under the tree and get the cache TFTC
Found in a fairly obvious location but was dismayed to see the cache out in the open. Leaves and wind don't make for a good hide! Replaced with some cover. Took Pig left Car

Scorpian Patrol found this cache while on a scout camp in Goolwa. The smoke coming from Victoria was so bad we could not see any view. Was there a View?? One geo-scout did a spectatular fall out of a tree while looking but came of it still smiling. Found eventually then back to the car we were glad to get out of the smoke. Thanks for the cache
Platypus Patrol found this while on the Goolwa Camp. The smoke was gone and the view was great.
Quick easy find on the way to a newie up the road.

Not windy today and more water in the Murray system now. Nice shade on a hot day. Thanks mundoo.
Nice quiet spot this morning so this was an easy find! Thanks mundoo for the hide!
We had to continue down the road and complete a u-turn to avoid arousing the suspicion of a cycling muggle.

A lovely sunny morning to do a bit of caching. Soon found. Great views. TNLN TFTC
Doing some geocaching with the in-laws, hoping to find them a new hobby! Found a loose TB tag in the box, discovered it belonged to the orange man when we got home, so came back 25/7 and retrieved both. Thanks Mundoo.
Ventured across from the Murray side to Currency Ck to grab this one. Dropped off Comeniac TB to enjoy the view. The previous log in the book is a ripper. Some local kids who bumped into the cache by accident and have decided to do a family time capsule. Awesome! TFTC mundoo.
A nice quick find, our first in Goolwa for our Oz day trip away.
A lovely little location, and we continued along the street to the end just to see the kind of view that they enjoy down there.
A part of Goolwa I'd never visited before as well!

This was a driveby that we could see before we got out of the car. TNLN and made sure that it wasn't so obvious for the next finder. Thanks Mundoo.
Out with spuddymoore giving him an afternoon to satisfy his caching bug!

The creek is full now! And lots more water to come! Rain of biblical proportions in Qld and NSW will really clean out and re-invigorate the Murray and Lakes. I come from Bundaberg in Qld which is currently flooded (visiting family in the area) . Glad to be in SA I must say. Found the cache in good condition. TFTC Mundoo.
Had to watch out for 2 trackters passing by. We had a fairly easy search TNLN TFTC
We sent Byercat in as part of their learning experience, but needed to step in to show how easy it can be. SL TFTC
No traffic so quick pickup. Swapped puppet for rocking horse as think granddaughter will love it! TFTC SL
An easy find as out in open.
Covered better when replacing.
Nearby dogs were barking so left a dog hand puppet in cache.

YUK!!!!!! Muggles have used the area as a toilet and covered their mess with rocks so dont check there thinking it is the cache........Yukky Yukky Yukky. Thank goodness our Cache Kit has baby wipes. Almost gave up thinking that it might have been muggled but found it safe and sound. TNLNSL
Another road we had never had an excuse to travel! Until now!!

Was about to head home from caching Murray Bridge when some new caches came up around Macclesfield and Victor Harbor so the FTF hunt was on as well as grabbing some other caches on the way.
A little bit dark tonight. Grabbed the Giraffe TB. TFTC.

Another one of your caches found in our big day out with Team Waldron. A nice hide and a nice quick find. TFTC.
When I read "overlooks the creek", I just assumed that it was on the bank. I was just blithely driving down there and the GPS was beeping and carring on, as I sailed past GZ.
A quick U'e and the cache was soon in hand.
Ahh.. this must be what passes for a hill around here.
Thanks, Robmc.

Had to wait a while for this one.....as workman was sitting in his parked truck right near the cache. Once he had moved on it was a nice quick find.
Found this cache today on my way to Adelaide.
Thank you very much for showing this place!

A quick find and sign today. Water level seems to have increased lately. Thx Mundoo for the cache.
Another quick drive by while in the area. Caught a glimpse of the Currency over the crest.
I had a chat with the horses while Barrie retrieved the cache. Left a pathtag. Thank you for another destination to visit.
Thanks for a great cache. Found ten on our caching run through Goolwa/Hindmarsh Island.
Found originally on 20 Jan 2009.
Called again on an evening drive to say 'Hello' to the Lass and were are pleased to report that she is fit & well!

Interesting view from the other side of the Creek! Could have swum quicker than drive.
Second last cache for the day. Very pleasant drive along the water front to get here. The horse in the paddock next to GZ was very interested in what we were doing and came over for a very friendly hello.
The cache was soon found and signed.

Found on the Keeping Ahead Tour 2009.
First find today. I'm glad I forked out for a motel room last night as I positively hissed down last night. That would have been fun in a swag!
Thanks for the cache

Replaced the cache container with a new one and removed all the wet and rusty swag from the old container. Re-stocked with new swag and put log book back (thanks REACKA for drying the log book out). There is no pen or pencil in the cache as I didn't realise they were missing and I didn't have a spare with me. Will put one in during the next week.
Re-hid the container in the original hiding spot and hopefully it doesn't get exposed to the elements.
