1398 Nice of the RTA (or whoever) to put a parking spot for the truck & caravan just near the GZ. Would have been a nicer find if it had still been where it should have been - found the container on the roadway near where it should have been living but it's actually now a squashed flat bit of metal (which we have taken with us) and which you need to replace. We couldn't sign the log - it's squished inside the container - now to find a caravan park. TFTC Jardry

11-Sep-10
As reported, the cache container has been destroyed.
I don't have a back up and due to placement of the original, it would need to be identical.
So it is with much regret that I archive this cache.

Searched around a bit before something caught my eye, and there it was at 9:35am. Had contemplated staying at the accommodation here before deciding on something else.

thanks Jardry - nice hide

Klem bounded out of the car and straight into the rough - that's where his golf ball always goes! Mrs Klem was lucky to find it - did a similar one to this a few days ago in Mildura. Great hide. signed log. TFTC

Not a bad drive !!
From the highway to the clubhouse I mean... it goes for a fair way [:o)]
Meanwhile back in the rough I was looking for a cache.
It wasn't until I slowed down a bit that I found where it lay Big Grin

Pulled up right near GZ. Spotted the likely spot from my ute. Waited for golfing muggles to drive past then made the grab.
Nice hide. TFTC!

This was our 3593rd overall find.

Found at 11:37 AM. Shell was searching around for ages for this one, it seems she wasn't paying attention to the GPS. Once she trusted it and went to the GZ we had a quick find.

Thanks Jardry for the cache.

I know these parts of a Golf course well - where elephants die..... Golf, a great way to ruin a nice walk. Wink Now who says that [?][?]

Clear skies and thanx Jardry from TeamAstro.

Found on the dash to Renmark for the RR3 Geocachers Dinner event following the wrap up of the RR3 CITO event. I seem to remember coming here 12 months ago looking in exactly the same spot for a temporary cache placed as part of a caching game. This time the find was a lot easier.

Looking, looking, looking. Looked in lots of places I would put a cache then found it in another spot.

Clever. TFTC.

Ah, nothing like playing 9 holes with 12 cans. It spoils a good walk though. After the 12th can it's more of a staggerRazz

Not sure where Dazzatron looked as there were two temporary caches in very close proximity to each other for the Riverland Rendezvous 2 event.

As I drove up to GZ I could see the cache container in clear view on the ground.

Cache container dusted off and replaced where it ought to be.

All good to go again for now.

29-Nov-09
As per log - looks like this one is missing in action.
Will check and if confirmed as missing will need to archive.

28-Nov-09
Found this cache as part of the Riverland Rendezvous 2 event but decide to wait until I signed the log to claim it but unfortunately today when I went to sign the log found the cache is missing not sure weather due to muggle or strong winds that might have blown it away but will claim a find as have found it previously. But letting people know that cache is missing at the moment have let the owner know.

31st find for the day of 45. Number 47 of 61 for the trip. Caching with Quasar3671. Having watched the Leonids Meteor Shower from Lake Culluleraine, we moved on to SA for some interstate caching. Also part of our Tri-State caching run (Vic, NSW, SA). Very hot day around 43 to 44 deg C with lots of flies everywhere. Pretty sneaky hide, and not noticed straight away. Got there in the end.

18-Nov-09
Find 31 for the day. Found with Blacklegend.

04-Nov-09
A quick find on our way through. Thanks

02-Nov-09
A sneaky little cache hide but fortunately I spotted it almost immediately, so I was soon on my way again. No cars entered while I was there either. TFTC.

25-Oct-09

A fef golfers having a swing, but a quick find and we on our way west again. Thanks Jardry.

25-Oct-09
... so you can tell from the McPan log that it is not I who has had the geocache-detecting crystals surgically implanted in my nose!! I am but a humble seeker, prone to walk past cache hiding places just to make others in my party seem good! Err, good hide by the way Jardry - thanks.

25-Oct-09
2316. I was so bad at golf that I would have managed to get the ball here without much drama. A quick find by McPhan after RexTrex had given it a very cursory glance. Very cleverly done.

TFTC and the foil.

Find # 54 of 112 finds on our extra long weekend in the Riverland. Also for today, what better way to celebrate a birthday than to go caching in 3 different states, finding 26 caches Smile.

We were here nice and early which wasn't too good as seemed to be peak hour for the golfers going in here.

Found by Mary & David at 1510. We're not golfers - need spare time to cache, but this looked an impressive place. Good camo. Our thanks to Jardry continues.

30-Aug-09
On the 3rd day of the "Food Bowl" event, Oenze & I went north of the border to do some more caches in Texas.....A quick find as we had done some similar ones like this before. Still it was a very good hide nonetheless and one the members seem not to know about. TFTC Jardry.

30-Aug-09
Find # 3062 and 15th of the third day at 4:29 pm. Accompanied by Iain from the Swaggies during the "Let's raid the food bowl" event in Midura. Today we decided to go to out caching by our selves. Easy drive-by. TNLN, left my mark in the log, Thanx Jardry....Big Grin

29-Aug-09
MV had this one in hand before I'd even got out of the car! That might lead one to question my parking technique but I promise it was all kosher! Nice little hide, it works very well here. No golfers either, perhaps that dinosaur down the road scared them off?

Cheers,

R + W - B

29-Aug-09
Found at 1050. Rubik got a closer than I first expected, and as soon as I stepped out of the car, the cache was pretty much in my hands. No muggles around made this one a simple find, otherwise we might have been target practice for some. A lovely hide. Well done.

Thanks again Jardry.

Oops, forgot to log this a while ago!

We stayed here on a business trip so a nice simple cache and dash to mark our visit to the Riverland. Brought a couple of travel bugs for the trip as well and they enjoyed an early morning riverboat trip in the fog and took the chance for a round of golf before leaving. T4TC Smile

Central Australia Trip. 19. It seemed like a continuous dribble of cars out of the grounds, while I waited on the phone for a first a chance to look and grab, and then to put it back. Thanks.

FTF on the day of the event.
Can you have 2 FTFs on a cache ?. In geocaching anything is possible. So I will drop my FTF coin in this one and pull it out in memory of the day.
My I was lucky I got away alive when I recovered the cache on the day. Wink

29-Mar-09
I wouldn't have hogged the FTF normally, having already found this one during the RR#2, however I had to come up to do the one cache I didn't get to during the event. I do like this hide. FTF #27. Cache 332.
