It would be helpful if the C O could log whether or not the cache is still in situ. We did note that it was replaced but also that there have been two DNFs logged since (and how many not logged?), one noting a scattered notebook. We did have a look, though, and came away disappointed. Nice walk so not sorry we went.
DNF as person before said paper spread around but a red belly black snake at GZ had us out off there quick smart [:o]
Did not find the cache, but saw a ripped up notebook with papers all over the place.
Skippy was playing geocache guide to Moneydork and myself for this hide, we ended up finding it elsewhere. His claim: it must have been moved. I looked back at his log, Freddo had found it for him the first time!!! lol. Either way Moneydork and I got a smiley! Cheers Roma123
Found It!
After a DNF here a few months ago I came back with Dazzatron today and he soon had the cache in hand!

11th find of day 2 of my June Long Weekend Caching Trip.
This was the only cache out here so Leighside Legends and myself decided to give it a go so once we worked out how to get into the cache we searched a few minutes before finally spotting the hide.

Too many muggles playing near creek over Easter weekend. Will need to come back. Beautiful spot
Large container but we didn't have pen on us to write in log. So take own pen. Also small hole in lid
AH HA this could explain why it goes missing!! No probs, I will replace the cache with something indistructable. Meanwhile, please replace securely.
Thanks ROMA123
Thanks ROMA123
A short walk from the campground took me to the cache. I still needed some time to spot the container, although the coords were spot on. FTF on its new location, TFTC!
The area this cache was in has now been cleared. Cache has been moved to new hopefully safer location. New Co-Ords : S 35 31.593 E 138 11.477. Please ensure cache is cammoed when you return it. Thanks ROMA123
Seached for about half an hour, didnt find anything. Compass was going stupid because of the lack of reception. Possibly no longer there

Putting a DNF here because where I was getting GZ was very few places to put cache also debris from a very large flow of water is evident thinking cach might be out at sea
Had two 20min searches before and after reading logs. Camo must be good if its there. Gps all over the place. Great place to camp. Tftc
Found on a weekend fishing trip with Team Jacks. Caught lots of yummy yabbies near GZ. TFTC!
If there is a right way and a wrong way to approach a cache we choose the hard way everytime. Today was no exception. But as we realised our mistake we found a track to the right spot. We searched everywhere including the actual GZ but no luck. We were about to give up but we knew from the name of the cache we were right so we gave it an extra hard look and eventually the cache showed itself. Left an Eiffel Tower. TFTC.
Finally made it back down to Rapid Bay and found the replacement.. Great cache and a bit cold today down there lol..
We had a good search around the area, unable to locate the original cache.
A replacement cache has now been laid, it is now a SMALL container.
Enjoy

Looks like this has had a wander...I will pop down and check this out...until then I'll leave it as disabled
Didn't find, after all the rain of the past 6 months or so,I reckon it's washed away for good..
after walking along dream track came to a huge puddle and after looking for a while started wondering if maybe this one floated away with recent rains weve had done this way gonna go back and try again after the ground hardens up as was a little slippery
Don't know if it was the long grass or it's really not there but today not to be uncovered?!
Great spot to visit nice walk along the creek watching all the Black Cockatoos tearing apart the pine cones. TFTC - L Penny
A lovely area and we enjoyed talking to some travellers in the camping ground. What a wonderful loccation to camp - we will remember it for next time. We found the cache after working out which way to enter the area. Slight geotrail made it a bit easier. thanks Roma123
The fear of snakes in the long grass caused us to log quickly on a warm but over-cast day.

Found while visiting friends at the nearby camping area. No snakes today. Left a Klem Bear and some Australian Flag stickers - well it is Australia Day. TFTC
Once the correct approach was found, the cache was in hand shortly there after. Managed to catch some gar the day before from the new jetty.

We made this a lot harder than we should have - tried to access it from above Commonsense prevailed and we came in the way we were supposed to - much more pleasant! Thanks for showing us this part of Rapid Bay which we would never have seen otherwise. Mr matmob even caught a squid on the new jetty which was very popular today.
Easy find during our tour around the Fleurieu Peninsula.

A couple of days cacheing down south after our Bali trip - enjoyed the green countryside and beautiful coastal views. Geocacheing is so educational - we now know why it's RAPID Bay. Thanks for the information and the cache.
Bit of a search by geodad and cache was in hand. Kept geokids up top for safety.

Silly me for not looking properly, freddo found it after I already said I had a good look there

There are days you find the cache in the first place you look. And there are days you find the cache in the last place you look!! This cache was the second version. In the end we found it.
This cache was easily found during a short walk along the Dreaming Track.
I wonder what encouraged Light to chose to land here, or did he stop at every little cove along the peninsula?
Thanks Roma123

Found it even though we had some very weird looks from some camping muggles. It was very hard to look innocent in the long grass and shrubs. Swapped a lizard and left a frog. I thought that the plaque said that Colonel William Light landed here in 1836? I can see why they named it the Dreaming Track. Great walk on the Dreaming Track. TFTC.
An easy find once we picked up the Dreaming Track.

Found by myself and "How Do They Know?" on a windy day. Our fishing did not go as we planned. Nearly got blown off the jetty. Tnlnsl. Tftc.
Found at 12.50pm whilst trying to go fishing with "Are We There Yet!" but foiled by HUGE winds, so luckily went geocaching instead! Looked down a steep slope because we didn't follow the steps and find the Aboriginal Tribe information first. Thought that this direction can't be right as it's terrain 2, not 4.
Once we went back and did as we were told we found it easily.
TNLNSL. Thanks Roma123. Nice spot, even in the wind!!!!!

Great find. GeoDad walked right over it then GeoSon took control and soon had it in hand. Well done TFTC.
Found on second attempt.First attempt got too dark and a poor sat lock got us all ducking and weaving thru the bushes for 20mins.
bbq bacon and egg sanga must have given us the cache finding powers!

When arrived other cachers were leaving - gave no clue but timed us to seek. Found with ease at which time other Cachers left quickly.

A straightforward find after we read the experience of others and decided to take the low road [^]. Coming from above would have proved difficult anyway, as there was a sporting event of some kind about to get underway with quite a crowd arriving.
Found at 19:10.
We drove to this from the top, thought the cache must have been near the building which was full of people so drove off. However, from another angle it looked ok, so after some convincing from Olga (I said let's leave it) we followed the path for a reasonably easy find by Olga in a place I had already looked, with assistance from Yessi.

With the car left running, O'Cholio was sent after this one. Cache was found out in the open, but replaced in a safer spot. TFTC.
While wondering at what the hint could possibly mean, the cache was found lying on the ground below what is presumably the hiding spot. Well, in any case, it's the hiding spot now TFTC.
Found on the Keeping Ahead Tour 2009.
We had a large area for GZ so I search around the top of the bank whilst Macca searched the bottom.
cache was found eventually.
Thanks

Maybe a terrain rating upgrade in order just to cater for wet weather.

I think I went the 4 star way today! Definately easier going back up the hill, than trying to keep the footing in the mud and wet grass on the way down! Searched for a bit, as sat loc is atrocious down there.

Definitley muddy! Ben and Josh ventured down the bank to retrieve this one, well not so much ventured, more slid down the hill! Getting up afterwards was even harder, but it was all fun and good. Thanks for the mud and cache
Found the cache at 3.50pm. Gee MUD Mud everywhere - my pair of shoe - full mud yuk!!! but lovely trees and so green... No swap. SL. Thanks Roma123 for organising the cache and hunt.
Missed this one when we were camped here at Easter. Whilst the other 16 cars went to look at the Jetty, I grabbed the cache.

You would think there would be no one around. Some couple were having a cat nap just outside the courts. I snuck past, and when I returned, they were still fast asleep in the Sun. Lovely snoozy afternoon. [|)][|)][|)] Out of the way spot though.
Just as well I wasn't hanging out for a Magnum Ice cream (pic of shop included). Not a lot happens in Rapid Bay. Quite unrapid actually.
Clear skies and TFTC Roma123 from TeamAstro.
found by myself with angel_bubi not too far behind! Thats some long grass near gz, glad I'm not worried about snakes!! tftc
2nd find of the day and 1795th total find.
It's not often that we get to go caching this far from home, but as we are both very fortunate to have a couple of weeks off - - -. By good planning or design this cache was on our list.
A nice easy find, thanks for the opportunity to visit this spot
Took: Nothing
Left: Screwdriver

Found the cache while geocaching with Team Waldron. Armed with a four wheel drive, four GPS units and a laptop, we had a great day searching up and down the southern coast. Trail06 went down and after an unsuccessful hunt, Team Waldron got fed up waiting and came down and grabbed the cache quickly. TFTC.
Out for the day with Trail06.
As he said I sent him down to find the cache but got tired of waiting for him to complete the task.
Cache in about the first place I looked which seemed about 20m from where he was looking.

The depleted members of NormyCrew found the cache this morning. What a sneaky hide.. or is it just our age? No Brody of 12yrs to do the climbing ... not that we needed to, but we did. Beautiful day, and no muggles.

Lovely area, enjoyed the walk under the pines. Quick find. Took Geo coin. Thanks for bringing us here.
This was an interesting cache leading us through some of SA history. Some one just beat us to the coin!
Enjoyed a stroll up the beach before seeking this one. Found without too much effort except the way back to the car was much shorter than the route used to get there! Swapped coins. Thanks Roma123
