Logs
As there's been no cache to find or log to sign for months, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the future, just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Adding another DNF as per the two logs before us.
All was not lost though, as the servo was open for icecreams!

Had a good look - plenty of poly pipe, but the cache eluded me today. Next time!
Great to see the Service Station is open again. We pulled up and took the geo-dog out for a run. Be careful around the bushes as a few people have used them as a loo for number 2's! TFTC
Our 600th find -yeah. A pleasant afternoon's caching on the way to Clare. Interesting pioneer memorial. Took geocoin and left chrissie eraser. TFTC
Warning!!!!!!!!!! Some horrible grot has used the place as a toilet so watch where you place your feet. SL TNLcoin TFTC
Rocky Glen Grommets have taken a couple of days off school to cache with Grom 2 whilst Grom1 is on school camp - this was found by Grom2 - thanks Dazza for the cache.
Found on a clearing day while travelling between Mt Pleasant and Porta Gusta. A nice easy drive-by at an interesting spot. Thanks to Dazzatron for the cache.
Found by Mary & David at 1245. Great icons of the area. Bought some excellent toasted sandwiches for lunch inside. Plenty of traffic stopping here. Our thanks again to Dazzatron.
Found on our way home from the Sunny Side Up – Goog’s Track long weekend event.

Tried this one in May but it was being worked on, so as we were passing today had to give it another try.
There were a lot of cars around but I slinked off and quickly found it.
Last cache for the LWE trip to Googs Track.

It looks like the pioneer is getting a fancy new fence around his field.
Cache was found in the third place I looked.
Thansk for ther cache dazzatron, I've always wanted an excuse to stop here.

This is a nice little memorial and after a short look at it I disappeared into the bushes for longer that I would have hoped.
It was well hidden.

Our first visit back to Redhill in 8 years. This hardworking farmer wasn't here last time we visited. Managed to locate the prize and take it back to the car to fill out the log. At that moment a bikie rode up and parked right next to our car and started to play with his iPhone. Ohhh dear... trapped in our car. If the bikie was a fellow geocacher then he must have cottoned on to the situation as he went into the roadhouse just long enough for us to replace the cache. Had a great night catching up with a few of the locals before returning home the next day.

Found during our trip to Coober Pedy, Uluru, Kings Canyon and Alice Springs for the school holidays. TFTC!
Stopped by as we headed towards Adelaide on our way back from Uluru and Alice for the holidays. Found with BantamCT. Missed out on this one due to muggles on the way up, but got it on the way back! Thanks Dazzatron.
Was headed up to the Flinders for a work leadership weekend and of course grab some caches on the way up.
Quite a bit of activity around here but managed to slink off for a cache. TFTC.

I dont think this ones there anymore.
Had Astro with me and he told me where it was but it's all been tidied up.

Visited the site yesterday and they were still working on the new wall so couldn't confirm the cache was there or not so will Temporarily Disable it and will check it on the way to the June Long Weekend Event in Jamestown and make a decision weather to move or archive it. But feel free to still attempt it as I do believe it is still there.
A quick find on the way home from the ANZAC weekend in Ceduna. The works seem to be progressing and eventually I suspect the cache won't be accessible although the nature of the new works will probably offer a good relocation opportunity. TFTC
Yes, cache is still there. Not sure if it's where you originally put it. Mr matmob made the comment that the person building the wall would have picked up that rock to check out if it would fit into his wall (our son is a stonemason - no stone gets left unchecked!) So it might pay to check it out if you're going past - not sure that it will stay where it is at the moment. Interesting monument though.
On our way home from Ceduna after the long weekend. Not sure how much longer this cache will be available, looks like it is getting very close to being "stone walled". TFTC
Location and cache container need to be confirmed before being activated again.
Was confirmed as there a month or so ago but unsure if they have finished the work close to it but will enable it for now and will check it after I return from Wagga Wagga in a few weeks.
Found the cache with a bit of assistance by gum-ako.Seems the owner of the garage may be protecting the cache because it is not near the co-ords but after a bit of a look around it can be found.
Suspect this one might need a check. Lots of maintenance going on, the statue is roped off, and GZ put us at a pile of very new looking rocks.
Will take this offline until I can get up to Redhill to check this but by the sound of the last 2 logs sounds like this one might be hard to get to why they are doing renovations or gone missing so fell free to try why it is offline but will make a trip up there in the new year and either rehide a cache there or move it and get it back online.
IT appears the area is getting a makeover, string lines and new rock development occuring, decided to come back another day. happy caching.
Interesting place nice stop TFTC

I have had this one in the GPS for awhile... a nice easy stop today no distraction or eyes watching... TFTC
This turned out to be a nice place to stop for an ice cream on a hot day. Thankfully a straightforward find (for a micro). Thankyou for organising the hunt. TNLNSL. Cheers & TFTC!
Decided to stop and have an ice cream and of course a cache, there were a few muggles around so geo wife got camera out and got snap happy, found cache with the geo kids placed back by geo kid pretending to trip over lol. TNLN SL TFTC

A feww muggles at the roadhouse, but paused to take a few 'pictures' of the monument and swooped on the container. A nice long roll that will take some time to fill up, unlike the dozens of nanos I've done recently! Thanks Dazzatron.
A quick stop and find cache. Parked just right so that Muggles couldn't see what I was doing.

Very easy find by Moneybox even in the dark which was just what I needed that late and cold at night. Lovely idea to sign onto it and have suggested the same to another cacher who did not have anything in the same kind of cache. Good things flow on, don't they? TFTC, TFTF
I have never stopped here, always just wizzed on by.
Today was the day and I can now say I have stopped in Redhill, but probaly never will again, unless another cache comes out of course

Found the cache at early morning - no muggles at this time. SL. Thanks Dazzatron & Margieh for organising the cache and hunt.
Had this one in hand quickly then muggled arrived nearby, so I took some photos of the memorial. Well, that made them more curious and they hung around so I drove off with the cache in my pocket. I waited nearby in the car until they drove off, then returned the cache.

Found this one easy @ 0930hrs. Geoson(6) had in hand within 1 minute of landing at GZ. Geomum SL while the hungry hoards went for food. On return to car ?muggle or fellow geocacher parked closeby without getting out of car and eyeing us suspiciously. Put cache back quickly while people were distracted.
We were worried that all the new luxuriant growth around GZ might pose a problem, but we struck it lucky after a short search.
Thanks Dazzatron & Margieh.

A quick detour on our way back to Wallaroo. Found the container straight away, unusual when it comes to film canisters and us. [B)]
Been past this monument many times, but we didn't realise the work that must have gone into building it.
Thanks Dazzatron & Margieh.

Found this one at dusk. It's a good spot to stop off for a stretch of the legs. I like the memorial. Thanks to the clue it was an easy find.
After a paddle across the creek I came up with the cache in hand. The hardest part was trying to stop from getting wet and muddy.

I would have found this one yesterday but 2a1c were there finding it first, so we left. Then, today on our way home, there were 2 lots there before us.... so again we left. I will just have to write the log next visit (I will try and get there first!!) I have attached a pic... is it you!
A surprise find on the way home. "I wonder if there's any caches here?" "Er, yes. Apparently we're standing on one."
Thanks Dazzatron & Margieh

A nice quick find and with the aid of the old mobile phone distraction I was able to retrieve & replace it with none of the muggles nearby any the wiser.

Returning from Port Augusta after 4 days of 4WD-ing, we stopped here as usual for a late breakfast. I took the opportunity to grab this easy cache while waiting for the others.
There are a number of caches in this area, and I have always wondered why there wasn’t one at this local icon. Now there is [^]. And now I have another smiley .

The place even has a red hill of you look behind the old servo. A popular spot for a quick stop and icecream. Now the kids can even have a free ride. Blinkers on the muggles too would be a good idea.
Clear skies and our thanx to Dazzatron & Margieh from TeamAstro. [^]
Had to phone a friend as did not have this one in the GPS so with co-ords in hand got bronze. TFTC
My last cache find after a week away up north and what a pleasant surprise.
I got a virgin find.
Yippee haven't had one of these in quite some time.
Happy to be the first to make an entry.
