Almost certainly missing given the long time between finds. This won't be getting replaced so it's offline for a week or two before it gets archived.
Three of us had a very extensive look but could not come up with the chocolates.
I thought i knew Holden models very well, but this cache proved me wrong.
After a few attempts i eventually got the congratulations screen on the geo checker.
Today i was in the area so i thought i would claim my smiley.
Cheers for the Cache o'cholio

Our son in law is holden mad so we gave this puzzle to him and he returned it within a very short time proving he knows his models, down today visiting our granddaughter and made the slight detour to finally cross this one of our list TFTC
Been to gz once before and found nothing. Turns out I transcribed some numbers wrongly into Gsak from my workings..
Got it today. Needed help with the Old ums as I don't know my Old uns from from Holdems!
Go Ford, but I do love the Old Uns too.

Thanks

Found with Arthur and ttrogg, Very messy place here, a dumping ground for lazy people. Thanks for the cache o'cholio.
After having a look at this one some time ago, today was the day we were in the area to make the find

In the Heart of the Lion on a wintery wet day I just had to do this one as I was passing.

To find this cache was mandatory, considering geoson is car obsessed! We have included a photo of his beloved Holden badge. TFTC:)
We came as a family since Mum and Dad had the coords still and we remembered the cache was here, we looked around but no luck today, so much bark around but thankyou.
Logging from the Nullarbor. Dennis's last day in Adelaide, so off he went to do a McKee event and grab a few other caches while on that side of town. Once you get the light bulb moment and place some order in your life this one comes to life. SL TFTC
With the help of more knowledgeable people have had this one solved for quite a while and finally today was the day for a nice quick find of a nicely located cache with it's own parking spot.
Thanks for the cache o'cholio

Found on a very pleasant days caching with CPWanderer and Team707.
Solved this one some time ago, but today was the day to make the find. Mr M was barking up the wrong tree, whilst Mrs M made the find. TFT puzzle and the cache.

20 years ago I had never heard of Holden, so recognising models predating my days in Oz was always going to be a task beyond me.
Enter a colleague at one of my clients. He took one look at the picture and picked every single model plus exact year within 5 minutes. Puzzle solved!
GZ was very quiet tonight and only one Holden was spotted at 5pm and an undisturbed cache recovery was made.

Well this was an easy puzzle cache to solve - guess where I work!!
An easy find on the way to work after shuffling the cars around.
My first car was a Vauxhall (does that still count!) followed by an EJ, then EH (a great car). Then came the HQ and a HZ (had this one for 18 years!) Currently in a VZ.
Thanks for your Holden themed cache - we need all the support we can get
Log slightly damp, but still able to write on - made sure it was sealed this time in it's plastic bag.

Gotcha!
Nice Puzzle. A couple of models had me scratching my head for a bit, but in the end, all good.
Brings back memories of the 2nd car I owned: A 1976 SS Torana. Ahh... Those were the days..
Thanks
After several emails to CO, I finally solved this cache.
Had looked at it for months, on and off, but could never get geochecker to agree with my coords.
Eventually I emailed CO and scan of the paper I had been working them out on and as a result, I realised that I had my HJ and HZ mixed up.
I am much better on earlier Old 'Uns than the later, more homogenous ones. Started driving in an EJ sedan, HG Monaro, TX Gemini and HZ ton-ner. I even used to be able to service and tune the EJ myself: no way will a piece of wire and a lightglobe work on cars these days
Anyway, I had been going to keep this cache as a 'close to home for an urgently needed daily cache' situation however I was halfway through baking today when muggle son needed a lift to work.
Since this was on the way home, and my baking was in the oven and needed quick attention, I did the locus cache thing here.
Log is damp but not sopping.

Had this one solved for awhile, found while out and about in Elizabeth. Cache was found by rat dog, it was on the ground. Replaced it back in the hideing place. Placed TB 22GBR. TFTC
Time today to get out and find some of the solved puzzles that are languishing away on my list.
Took me a little while to find this one, even though it was right in front of me the whole time!
Thanks o'cholio for the cache.

We feel this one has pretty much run its course and will be removing sometime in the next few weeks. Anyone with a solution who's contemplating finding this should do it before then.

I was going to say I’ve never owned an Old ‘Un but now I recall the family did own an EK era model back in the ‘60s. Everyone’s got an Old Un somewhere in their past. Enjoyed the challenge of searching for all the models – ah, the internet, what would we do without it? Had this one solved six months ago, while recovering from a minor injury, and was planning to get to it early but just never got a round tuit.
Got flummoxed when I transposed two digits in the coordinates and start scoping out a facility around Hanger 18 in Area 51 within the Restricted Zone and was preparing for a night assault when commonsense kicked in and I rechecked my figures. I already had it pinned in GE, and it was on the way home from work. Didn’t take too long to find although a fallen bough had half buried it. My new HTC didn’t let me down and led me right to the spot and the cache contents are in pristine condition thanks to Team Lolly.
Didn’t see too much rubbish around so there must have been a massive clean-up and the area is now half decent. You could almost have a picnic here, almost.
TFTC O’cholio.

The cache had been muggled found the container open on the ground. Replaced log with a new one and put some small trades for the geokids. Replaced cache as close to coordinates as possible team lolly
Solved a few days ago with help from someone who knows the old 'uns better than me. I do drive one now but it's more recent than those above.

Ah memories, A nice welcome to the world of puzzles. I have been a Holden man as long as I can remember, Cheering on the Lion at Bathurst since 1969 and travelling in a FC for holidays as a kid. I have owned a few including 2 HQ's, a Tx and TC Gemini, JB Camira (good car that one 300,000km) VN and VX commodore plus a few others amongst the kids. Thanks for the trip down memory lane Mick.
Found on my third attempt, after failing with Google maps and my Iphone maps. My trusty Garmin was spot on!
My first Holden was an LH Torana SLR, while my sister drove around in an EJ wagon, and my other sister a Gemini. My second Holden was a 308 HQ Statesman, definately the best Holden I've had ever. After that came the VC Commodore wagon, which I owned for the longest period.
Since starting work at Holdens across the road, I have had a Jackaroo 4WD, an Astra, Vectra, Commodore SV8, SV6. a Cruise, and now an Omega. Guess you could say I like Holdens. TN, left roo. TFTC

Log replaced, cache container resprayed, and hiding spot changed to a more cacher-friendly location.
Offline till we replace the logbook. The container will be replaced as ingress of water has always been a problem in this spot.
I solved this one a long while back doing the necessary research on the holden's history.
I diverted here from Port Wakefield to pick this one up.
The log book is completely sodden, mush more like it.
The area is strewn with discarded rubbish but the cleverly concealed container remains hidden from view.
Thanks

Well for this one I guess you can say it is 'G' marks the spot TFTC - did not seem like that long ago my husband was parking his car in the carpark accross the road for working at Holdens - glad he got out of there when he did, moral there these days for workers is not all that great. Log book was very damp but I managed to get my name written on there.
Out for a walk at lunch to grab the closest unfound puzzle to work. Like others, and previous attempts, the GPS had poor accuracy and noticed the HT wires aligned vertically overhead and wondered...
After a while searching around where I had searched before I found it and it reminded my of one of my early puzzles which used similar cammo. Nice to have this one completed after solving the puzzle on the day it came out. TFTC

now we have the 100 find trackable we are just getting around to logging it through.
I am sure we looked there but we only skimmed over it, thankfully with the new hints we had it in hand in no time at all
The logbook was very hard to write it as it is very wet, sorry I didnt have any on me to replace it.
Thanks for this one, so glad it is done now, it has bugged me since we started.
And big congrats on the new member in your family.

Checked and confirmed it's still there.
The satlock in this spot is poor and in combination with the cache moving a couple of metres back in June '09, the DNFs are understandable. Hint has been updated to compensate.

Half an hour of searching yet again today....seems to be everytime we pass this we look for it but still no cache in hand, and that was with clues given to us on where to look.
Didn't find it again, not that a brand new GPS doing weird things helped either.
And I checked my coords and they are still correct...
And I checked my coords and they are still correct...
I solved this one earlier this year, but didn't get to finding it right away. When I moved house several months ago, I tossed the solution out thinking I had entered it into GSAK. Alas, I did not record it! I couldn't be bothered solving it a seconde time, so I begged the answer from another cacher. I searched in the dark a couple of weeks ago and found nothing. I tried again today and it wasn't looking much better. Then it dawned on me that I had looked at my solution on Google Maps and recalled it being across the road. Over I went to have a look for some obvious spots. The cache wasn't intended to be that obvious, but it had become detached from where it should be and I spotted the end of it under some bark. What a fluke! TFTC o'cholio!
I will give Margieh the credit for solving the puzzle I just went along to the final. TFTC
After a bit of research had the Co-Ords for this one worked out a while back... So today we went to find it... Didn't realise this road was so busy.... Soon had the cache and were on our way again... Thanks o'cholio for the cache....
Yes, I am back. I almost did not find it because it was excellent camouflaged cache.
Thanks o'cholio for the cache.
Thanks o'cholio for the cache.
All dried out and back in position. The container's well-suited to the spot, so it's had a couple of drain holes drilled in it, and the contents have been double-bagged to prevent water getting in. Please make sure it stays that way as this seems to be a very wet area.
Yes yes found the cache at 4pm. It was express and very wet - need TLC and dry up the log book. SL. Thanks o'cholio for organising the cache and hunt.
As per the last log, the log is again saturated, kind of surprising considering the nature of the new hide. Have collected the cache to dry the log out and make things a bit more water-resistant. It should be back within a week.
Accompanied with Everlasting. With two pair of eyes but no luck. thanks for the hunt.
It's back online! And a new and improved hide that'll hopefully not get so wet in the future.
Offline while we do some maintenance. It'll be a better hide when it's replaced.

After not finding this one a few days ago, I was able to go back with my hand held GPSr, although that wasn't much help to me either as I kept losing Satellite lock. I searched where I thought it would be and SUCCESS!
The cache is very wet and the log book soaked right through. It may need replacing. I did not have any means to dry it out unfortunately.

Great place to hide the cache. Made interesting by the puzzle and then watching car testing while looking for the cache. Thanks for the cache.
Ah, the Bogans' choice of car . There have been some good ones over the years and some dodgy ones as well. The Holden handbrake was slightly less useful than an ashtray on a motorbike but I hear they've fixed it now. Certainly an icon of Oz

My dad had a Holden HQ ([?]) station wagon that was our fruit 'block' car. Occasionally he would pick us up from school and would bring the car. The fuel gauge didn't work and the only time it would run out of petrol would be outside of the school. (I'm sure he planned it that way .) Thank goodness it was a short downhill push to the petrol station . If we were smarter we would have kept a jerry can in the car .
Thanks for the cache .

We were passing by and decided to check in on this one. If anyone's tried to find but couldn't, it was buried under a foot of bark. It's a bit shallower now.

My first car was a 1953 Holden 48/215 sedan
Commonly referred as the FX NS as it was fitted with the new suspension that was fitted to the FJ released later in 1953.
Found the cache in the calculated spot on the way to the Old Spot.
