This area seems to get a lot of loitering and gets muggled too often so i am removing it.
We searched amongst the elm suckers for some time around GZ and found at least one likely log but no cache. Did find remains of pink Tupperware container with the words "official ..........." written on it in black marker but had been long ago muggled if it was the cache.
Pretty sure gutter-kat and I found the remnants of this cache. Looked as though it had been muggled.
Went for a walk after a BBQ nearby with RudiC, Roxy191, Serg23 and a group of geobashers. Found cache but it was out in the open we rehid it as best we could but the owner may want to take a look. Left plastic dinosaur. TFTC!
Good spot for a cache, easy find. It wasn't in the location where it was said to be so it was placed in the right location. TNLN TFTC =D
Went for a walk after a BBQ nearby with Cherub_Child, geokiddie Roxy191, Serg23 and a group of non-geocaching friends. hopefully we have converted them we found cache but it was out in the open we rehid it as best we could . TFTC!
Went for a walk after a BBQ nearby with Cherub_Child, geodaddy rudic, Serg23 and a group of non-geocaching friends. geodaddy wouldnt carry me on the walk back to our friends house though!
Nice to actually have to walk a bit to find a cache instead of just pulling up 20 metres from it. Could be a nice area if they cleaned it up a bit.
From the name of the cache and the description I wasn't expecting much. However, this area was quite lovely this morning. Very quiet and tranquil, no muggles about, and the area in which the cache was hidden made me feel like I was in the woods rather than in the middle of suburbia. I did note the tracks and the camp of a few muggles not far away - closer to the water. Looks like they've had a campfire party with a few drinks around here. I took the little frog from the cache and placed in a few eyes. TFTC.

Crossed the creek at possibly the wrong location, but all was well soon. An easy find, as I saw the bright container on my approach.
Signed log and hid well hopefully.

Went looking under the wrong log at first, further into the trees! Beautiful area though.
May have been muggled again because it was in plain view sitting above the hide. The cache seemed to be intact so I signed the log and hid it again. Thanks for the cache. TN, LN.
Find # 1328 @ 16:20
Nice walk once I found a suitable place to park next to the timber yard. Spotted a corner of the bright cache container immediately so I covered it a little better. TNLNSL Thanks Hypo_Mix!

Ok, finally got around to replacing the broken cache.
Moved it slightly so it is less likely to be muggeled
Moved it slightly so it is less likely to be muggeled
this cache has been muggeled in the past so I wouldn't recommend putting geocoins and other such items in it. if it gets muggeled again I am going to remove this cache.
Found this one with a team from New Zealand, on our way home from the Wagga Wagga MEGA event.

This Cache is missing a proper notepad.
All I found in it was 3 things
1. A notice telling about Geocache
2. The Handle of a Screw driver (may NOT be there in the future!)
3. A piece of card board someone had to put in to log there to they found ti
Other wise a decent cache

As with previous finders, all that was there was the container, with the lid not on the box. I put a piece of cardboard in as a temporary log, and then found the stashnote as I was walking away, so I put that back in as well. This cache appears to be subject of persistent muggle attacks, and might need some TLC and a new location.

Seems to be subject of persistent muggle attacks & may need to be moved - see my log
This was cache # 32 of 36 for the day, in the company of Alansee. Once we found a close car park we made our way to GZ where we found the cache scattered about the place, looks like it had been Muggled, we put it back together although we had no log and had to sign on a piece of card, this one may need some attention. My thanks to Hypo_Mix for the cache.

We found a place to park and headed off along the track which was today far from being overgrown with grasses and there were quite a few muggles using it. We waited for a break in the muggle traffic to zip off towards gz behind the cover of the trees. We were quite surprised that even with the tree cover the GPS showed zero when we first arrived at gz. The cache was located in the first place we looked, we signed the log and headed back around the lake where we could see no sign of any Blue Green Algae and the fact there was a person fishing may mean it has hopefully gone.
Thanks Hypo_Mix for the cache

Sunday 12th oct. GPS co-ords (even under so much cover) and the hide were great. Stood right next to it and didn't know it was there. Slightly overgrown path but easy walk even with a toddler in tow. Please wear covered shoes, lots of brocken glass around.

3rd cache for the day at about 2300 hrs. A bit of night caching this time with my brother Shane. Only had a mobile phone light for a torch, so going was a bit rough but we found it. SLTNLN. 3rd on the start of my USA trip, heading out tomorrow. Staying in Caroline Springs tonight.
IN Melbourne for a roadtrip which will include harness racing at Tabcorp Park, Melton and greyhound racing at The Meadows, Broadmeadows. This easy cache will become my southern most find! TFTC

We seem to have done a 'cheeky approach', and parked in a spot very close to GZ. This is a terriffic spot to visit, but will be even better if the drought ever ends>

Our second for the day, with the aim of repair. We took a poor route, if I'd come the other way I'd have avoided the struggle in the trees....
Repaired the cache with waterproof tape.

I was having a bit of trouble deciding on the best approach to this one - but managed to park in what, I guess, was the best spot and walked though the reception centre carpark and then on to the cache. I suppose I could have actually driven almost the whole way, but didn't realize it at the time (and it would probably have been a bit cheeky!). Anyway, it's an interesting location but it looks a bit bleak at this time of the year with all the tree sans their leaves. GZ had a bit of a dubious look about it too - there seemed to be a lot of toilet paper around there (although I couldn't tell whether it had been used ).
TNLN
Thanks again Hypo_Mix - the container is badly cracked and it's only the lid that is holding it together.

Found by one half of Team Ladava around 12.00 pm on a rare day our caching by myself while the other half lay in bed with the flu. Plan A was that we would be half way to Adelaide by now on a week's Geocaching holiday. Oh well there is always plan B.
The water actually looks pretty good at the moment but the cache area needs a bit of a clean up.

It was just on dusk this evening as we made our way in to this cache. Parked the car in someone's driveway (we think), so didn't want to take too long. Couldn't find the track in at GZ, so went through the trees - felt a bit "Blair Witch"-like as we made our way in to the cache. Found the cache in the first place we looked. Container is cracked, time for some winter maintenance, Hypo_Mix! Left Earth Turtle geocoin - he'll be happy here near the lake. Took nothing.
Found by Mary & David at 1230. A great cache to do in autumn. The water didn't look too bad today. Lots of workmen over the other side of the lake adding some new facilities. Another milestone passes for us. The base and one side of this container are badly split, and will let in water when/if it rains. Our thanks again to Hypo Mix.
There are some serious works going on in the lake. A nice copse of trees here too although the place can do with some CITO. The container is cracked and will let in water. Nice place for a cache thanks Hypo_Mix
Yaay, I just found my first cache. It was fun going to the site. I invited a couple of friends to this one and now they are hooked. Thanks for the cache.
I parked at the nearest spot to GZ, but I wasn't sure whether I would have to cross the creek. As it turned out, it was a non-issue. Cache was found nice and easily. Thanks for the cache.
Nice short walk. This was our very first geocache find, Yay!!! Looking forward to many more. Hopefully with less rubbish around though
Found at 4.50pm GAFF1. We were very impressed with the short walk to GZ, past the lake and then down that little track to GZ. However it is a pity that there is so much rubbish around, not to mention the amount of broken glass. Still we enjoyed this cache as a semi bush cache in the suburbs.
Thanks Hypo_Mix

So this would be the Taylors Lake of Taylors Lakes? Always wondered where the lakes were, now I have walked around one - well, I think I have, it was a bit dark... couldn't really see, but Sam said if I step in that direction I would get wet feet! And she should know (I heard the splash!)
A nice stroll, and a quick find (luckily someone's GPSr was working!)
Thanks, Robmc.
A nice stroll, and a quick find (luckily someone's GPSr was working!)
Thanks, Robmc.
If there was any blue-green algae here tonight it looked pretty much the same as everything else: black and dark! I was surprised at the size of the nearby large puddle and must come back during daylight for another look. After deciding on a direct route for access, my GPSr was busy resettling after a sojourn under the trees, and so Robmc (I think) located the cache first. Thanks Hypo_Mix.
We came in the dark so the hue's were more black and white than blue and green but we still managed to find the cache or at least Robmc did and we capitalised on that. Decided that it was teatime here so we sat on the back of the car and watched the traffic zoom by while we partook of various refreshments.
Thanks indeed.

Finding a place to park the car was a big challenge for this cache today with repeated tries from the wrong side. We eventually found a way through and parked on on the opposite side of the ponds.
A quick stroll by the ponds, they were brown not green today, and we approached GZ.
I had a cursor look at what I thought might have been a good place, but didn't spot anything, then Mrs caughtatwork and GabGab both pulled me back to spot what they thought was the cache where I had just looked. Doh!
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks Hypo_Mix for this cache today. There's quite a bit of glass round GZ but nothing to worry the cautious. I've never been down the "lakes" and I've lived only about 6km for most of my life.

I found this cache today with Mummy and caughtatwork. This was an easy cache to walk to and I saw the cache after caughtatwork didn't. I thought that was funny. Thank you.
Found after work and before our bushwalking meeting.
I have rehidden it a bit better because I could actually see parts of the container in its hidy hole.
Nice to see a few more "local" caches.

Second and last cache of the morning. A nice walk along the back of the houses and a secluded little treed area.
The cache was well hidden by previous hiders so took a spot of looking for.

The wind had really picked up by now and it was a duty walk to GZ.
The lake surrounds were deserted and the area where the cache is hidden is strewn with leaves from the trees which have shed their leaves early this year. Quite a pretty aspect.
Cache found after a small search.
Good effort on the two caches of yours attempted today. Keep it up.

The hardest part of resolving this geo challenge was to park our vehicle within a respectable walking distance of your hide!
Of course we did choose the busiest time of the day with traffic conditions at their peak!
However perseverance paid off in the end and we were pleased to make an easy find at GZ.
We signed the log and made no exchange.
Thank you again for placing this cache.

Find # 2655 and 2nd of the day at 1:41pm. I was in the area to pick up some jobs to do from work and saw that there were a couple of new caches, nice walk to GZ, I found the cache party uncovered so hid it a bit better. TNLN, Signed Log, Thanx Hypo_Mix....
Found today at 3:40pm. Saw this come up at work and thought a cache on the way home with a possible FTF would be a good idea. Very warm day and nice walk to cache, easy find Thanks Hypo_Mix.

Congrats to Shanethompson for the FTF. This popped up this arvo and I was hoping to pick it up myself on the way to night-shift. Nice little walk anyway, plenty of birdlife and no-one around, (Except for the young couple I disturbed about 30M from GZ. Thanks for this one Hypo MIx, nice spot. TNLNSL
