Looks like someone didn't like where we're gonna put our new Castle. We'll leave it offline and archive in a week or so.
Went a long way round to get this one,I was well off course with the handheld GPS'r but the one in the car took me right to it,tftc
A quick find, thanks the Kerrigan Family. It looks like some shonky developer has decided that it is okay to dump truck loads of soil along the other side of the road - compulsory acquisition?
Over on a geocaching trip from NZ. Enjoying my tour around Adelaide travelling between caches. Soon had this one located. SL TFTC
note to self, take torch when cacheing in the dark, had to wait for the sun to come up a bit to find cache, nice place to watch sunrise 2nd place I looked TFTC TNLNSL

Found on a work trip to a nearby location. A good cache to renewing my love of this hobby. TNLN And thanks very much! Cheers!
This proved a difficult one to find, But the VIEW is to Die for!
we went searching amongst the rubble and dirt for a good few hours! Just as we were about to admit defeat, we found the cache!! It was a Fun area, we were even lucky enough to watch a train pass by AND, Grey clouds were forming, we watched the Rain slowly trail across the terrain!, beautiful sight!

Pretty rough area, keep an eye on the kids! Swapped roo (liked red better) left sticker tftc
After dodging pallets and other foreign objects, managed to park close to gz, and make an effortless retrieval. TN, left roo. TFTC.
Found while out with the grandson Zak Power, it was going to be a big day out but we tired to soon what a dump.. TFTC SL TNLN
Easy find as I almost wet myself as a aircraft took off overhead. Serenity indeed. Pity further up the road has become the local free refuse point. Dave will be angry. TFTC

Late afternoon on a public holiday, dirt road, and the two minutes we were there, two other cars passed by, turned around at the level crossing, came back and eyed us like we were some kind of I don't know what... What the? Liked the plastic 'markers' TNLNSL TFTC
Found this one nice and easy.
A bit of rubish @ GZ made the container fit right in.
Made the find, sign and replace with no trouble.
Cheers and happy caching.

Driven past here hundreds of times so it really was time to clean this one up.
No planes at 8:30am as the fly-boys would still have been finishing their marmalade toast and soy latte.

I was expecting to find more rubbish and burnt out cars here but they are gone and all that remains are some dilapidated greenhouses and a cache, which was found easily.
Thanks

Went and checked the area out yesterday. It's definitely someone's dumping ground, but a lot of the mess seems to be coming from the derelict greenhouses next door. There is a burnt-out car nearby, but other than that, the cache spot itself is clean. We'd definitely not recommend doing this at night; from past logs it's evident that this is a spot visited by shady characters. Attributes have been changed to reflect this.
After the last few logs, this one's offline till we get out and have a look at the spot. It never used to be the dumping ground, but it looks like a few more of Wayne's mates might be hanging around the area.
What a dumping group!
Once I got aropund the burnt out car, I just had to avoid the broken glass and other assorted rubbish.
As I approached gz there was a likely lad riding his bike around but as I approached he thought better of it and headed off. I wonder how many punctures he had to repair as he rode off through the weeds and long grass?
Quickly found the cache.

2nd find of the day. Not the cleanest area in the world but still a cache find will take me anywhere. TFTC
Have looked at this a couple of times but today was the day... Think this is more like a rubbish dump and sure I wouldn't want to live here.... But a smiley was had and that is all that matters... Tks The Kerrigan Family for the cache
After a day at Mallala Motorsport Park and finishing up early, it was time for some caching on the way home. I guess it is only a matter of time before the castle disappears. TFTC.
Nice and quiet here on a Sunday afternoon. What's with the 'no dumping' sign at one end of the road and the disgusting pile at the other?! Makes you wonder what sort of castle those people live in.
Nevertheless, thank you for the journey and the cache. An interesting detour on our way home from Elizabeth.

Found today thankyou, a nice easy find but boy were my shoes muddy - hubby parked right next to a mud puddle lol
Bombs Away... Cache #800 for Gunnie69. This one gave me a look at my old work GZ from a different angle. As I approached the area, a Tiger helicopter took off from there too... [^] I see them come and go in my new work GZ but it was nice to have one overhead as I chalked up a milestone cache.
A nice quick find once at GZ. Left Horizon TB.
Cheers Kerrigan Family.

Accompanied with Everlasting. My Gps was playing up but fortunately Everlasting found it. Phew! A car drove past us and then parked at the end of the road while we filled in the log. So we walked back to the hide and pretended to take the photos next to GZ..
Thanks The Kerrigan Family for the cache.

Nuvi was directing us to a path which is now blocked off. We improvised and made our way to the cache. Took Golf ball and left a bobble head boy toy. Easy find once we got there. TFTC

Fairly quiet here -so we thought. We were filling out log in the car when a car drove past with some shady looking characters and parked at the end of the road. Couldn't replace the cache without getting sprung so took it for a short drive until car left again. All back in place now. Took strange long neck figurine? Left bottle opener. TFTC
Those shady looking characters were just some of Wayne's new mates from the local area
Found it today with the GeoDaughter after an initial reccy yesterday (too many muggles)
No Screamers going overhead today although the train did a short pass. Well you can keep your castle ill stay in my humble dwelling not so far away.
